Villagers Can TALK Now?! Villager News Add-On for Minecraft Bedrock transcript

Welcome to the official villager news add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. My name is Ekko and this is one of the most exciting videos I've ever created. Just when you think you've seen it all, you certainly haven't. This is an official collaboration between both Orville Studios and Elements Animations. Introducing your favorite Villager News characters and voice lines directly into your Minecraft worlds. Now, this is going to be fully compatible with actions and stuff.

I believe the full experience and the vanilla experience alongside the brand new flat textures which they have introduced. We have interactions with baby villages. We have all of your favorite like villager 5, villager 9. We also have testificate man. We also have the woolly sheep. There's so much available inside of this. There is over 2,000 custom voice lines available. Now, I did get early access. It's not a paid promotion.

This add-on is going to cost you 1,170 m coins, but trust me, it is totally going to be worth it. Let's get into this. So, as always, once you do have this installed in your new or pre-existing worlds, you are going to be given a guide book. Now, we're starting without actions and stuff, but I will toggle it on at some point in today's video. You don't need actions and stuff to enjoy this add-on because the villagers still have custom animations.

So, let's open the villager news handbook. Now, the only problem I had with this add-on is that they're using the new UI and there's a little bit of latency as you can see when opening it. That's the only issue I had. Now, again, I do have a test version, not a paid video or sponsored. Um, just wanted to let you guys know you can still deal with this while using this add-on. So, it says settings breaking news. Villagers are now judging your every move with over 2,000 plus voiced reactions.

So, we've got guides, settings, social, and support. If you need to get in contact with the creators, this is always going to be the best way to do so. If you can submit your issues and bugs via their Discord, they would certainly recommend it. We've obviously got the socials as well. all of the people that have made this possible. The combination of both Orville Studios and Element Animations, I I'm absolutely in awe of this.

As someone who's watched pretty much all of the Element Animations back in the day, uh, and a big fan of Orville Studios creations, this is the perfect collaboration. So, a very big one is going to be the settings. So, they do have a subtitles option, which I'm going to turn on. Basically, just above your hot bar, your XP bar, there'll be a subtitles that will pop up when they're talking. So, at least you can actually see what they're saying.

Maybe if you're hard on hearing, maybe if the villagers are quite far away. So, I've turned this on. I reckon it's the best setting to have on. So, villager chattiness. So, we have this as default for now, but I feel like I want to leave it on default and maybe change it a little bit later on. You can mute. You can have them as shy. You can also have them as super chatty as well. I'm I'm not going to alter anything in terms of that right now.

So, we're going to go back into our settings. It says rare villager voice lines. How often villagers say longer, more unusual lines? Um, I'm going to have this as default. Again, we might alter this as we do go along. Spawn special villages. It says uh whe where whether villager news characters can spawn naturally. So this is going to be some of the main characters like testificate man. It's going to be villager 9, villager 5, etc.

I'm leaving them on and I do believe they will spawn naturally inside of villagers. Villager style change the appearance of villagers. So I've got it on vanilla, but you can change it to actions and stuff and actions and stuff flat. Again, these are going to be settings we will toggle throughout today's video. So, let me teach you the guides and some of the basics behind this. If you tap on this, it does say explore villager news, meet special characters, and discover hidden reactions.

They do have an online guide which is going to be orville studios.com/villager-news if you would like to learn a little bit more. Let's go to overview. Now, I am going to read this because it is quite important. Everything you need to know about villager news from how villagers behave to the features that bring them to life. Reactive dialogue. Villagers react to nearby mobs, blocks, players actions, trading, damage, and plenty more.

Try doing things around them and listen for a response. Animations. Villagers are fully animated with custom movements, expressive voice line animations, and lip sync that brings their dialogue to life. Villager styles. So, choose between vanilla actions and stuff and actions and stuff flat style villages in settings to match the look of your world. So, actually, you might not necessarily need actions and stuff and actions and stuff flat.

So, that could be an absolute added bonus in this in terms of conversations. Villages don't just react to you. They can interact with each other with conversations and unique exchanges between villages. So, for example, if you start punching villagers, they'll gossip about you between each other. It says reaction categories. Reactions cover player actions, mobs, buildings, trading, villager life, damage, world events, conversations, and plenty more.

Browse the trigger reactions guide to discover them all. Player reputation, quite important. Villagers, remember how you treat them. Trading and curing villages improves your reputation while hurting or killing them lowers it. Villagers even gossip about you with each other, changing how they react to you. Special villages. One of each special villager whose character spawns in your world. Explore different villages to find them and trade for their unique unique items.

Wondering traders. Wondering traders have their own dialogue for trading. sold out stock, successful deals, and plenty more. So, wondering traders have been added to the com combination as well. Baby villagers. Baby villages have their own reactions and animations. Rare lines. Rare lines are longer, more unusual, and over-the-top reactions. Use the rare villager line settings to disable them or make them more common.

Chattiness. Use villager chattiness in settings to control how often villagers speak from completely silent to extremely chatty. Subtitles, you can have this on or off. So, I think the overview is quite important to basically learn the basics behind this. Now, before we go into special villages, cosmetics, and triggers, cuz bear in mind, there is a lot inside of triggers. Uh, I just want to mess around with this by by default.

So, the first thing I want to do is just grab myself a villager and place it down. >> Woo! A second ago, I didn't exist. >> How cool is that? How cool is that? If you just stare at them as well, they get like really awkward if you're just looking at them. If you >> Greetings, friend. >> If you crouch near them, they get really like awkward and weird as well. If you don't move, it it's it's it's really fun. >> Crouchy crouchy to you, too. >> How cool is that?

How cool is that? So, if I start breaking blocks, believe it starts to interact as well. Come on. Say the line. >> Do you have the correct permit to be doing that? [laughter] You >> see how cool that is? I am honestly so impressed. What happens if we grab an egg? Oh, no. No. He didn't care. He didn't care too much. Okay, so let's grab some armor and stuff. Right. If I was to grab this, I put this on. No. >> Oh, I like your shiny clothes.

There it is. There it is. See what I mean? I see how cool that is. Okay, so if I was to punch him. >> No, please. Violence is only sometimes the answer. And what I am going to very quickly do here is go into my settings and I'm going to turn on the other style. So if we turn on the actions and stuff one, if I was to spawn another one. >> What a curious birth. >> They they they've slightly changed. And then I believe you can also go back inside of here, change it to the flat texture as well. I believe they'll be slightly different again. >> Excellent. It didn't wave back.

[laughter] >> I love this one already. I absolutely love this one. But I'm going to be honest with you. Since I'm not using actions and stuff, I feel like I don't need to >> I can't reach my workstation. >> I don't need to use the actions and stuff one. Oh, I can't I can't reach my workstation. Okay, so what happens if we summon a baby >> about the update? Was the baby >> born with clothes? [laughter] >> He was born with clothes.

Let's see if we summon something like a ravager. Uhoh. Oh, he did kill it. He did kill it. Okay. Uh, they also react to different times of days, etc. There's just so many incredible interactions every every single time. >> I would walk a few blocks here, then I will walk a few blocks more. [laughter] >> So, I think that's actually one of the special voice lines that they do. >> Are we real? >> Who are we hiding from?

Okay, let's do a little bit of like if we do some digging for example. >> Uh, why' you do that? >> If I was to I don't know, like let's start breaking down something over here. He's not really He's not really watching me. What I do need to do is I need to see what happens. So, what I would like to mess around with is the other villages that they have interpreted. If you put a bed in the Nether, you'll be rewarded with several diamonds.

Now, while we do that, okay, one thing I want to do is also heal them because they do have custom voice lines if you heal them as well.

So, if I was to place this in here, grab myself this one and You look so weak. And just let that do do its its process. In the time of us checking out these, it'll heal. See like there's all kinds of different quirkiness. So if you just do your general Minecraft gaming then they'll just interact with you and talk about you today. >> Yes. Going and closing classic >> open door closed door. What about trap doors? What about boat? Come on. They usually interact if you're inside of a boat, but they like you >> you can't just pinpoint it. You know what I mean? >> Let's uh place down some lava.

Inside of the guide book, if we go to uh triggers and reactions, there's loads of different options, by the way. So, I decided to gather That's not what I wanted to do. Uh, I decided to gather a couple of them. So, like player, you've got like everyday actions like shearing sheep, setting off fireworks.

I decided to write down a bunch of these inside of a book, but like there's there's loads of different options. So, if I was to do forward slash effect atP and I did uh speed and we did like this. So, we'll grab these ones. So if I was to throw a snowball at him so many >> Hold on.

If I type in if you you can go to this specific section, by the way, um go to guide, go to triggers, and type in camp for example, it'll say see a campfire, have a campfire nearby, comments and observations. So, every single item, practically every single item in Minecraft's going to have some form of a voice line. So, if we was to grab >> addicted to potions, >> if we grab a villager, I come over here.

I'll grab two. >> That egg has produced a citizen. >> Excellent. >> It should eventually talk about it. But again, it's not a guarantee. It's completely an RNG factor. Oh, he's a bone.
