I unfortunately was not able to make it now, but I'll be doing it for this cup and the following one. So, let's get started. It's day two of the cup. How you guys doing? How you guys doing? We are going to be jumping into game number one of the EMA Elderwood Cup. It's time to find out who's going to be joining us in final lobby and we are going to uh immediately hop on board with sorry overlay needs to get refreshed uh with Setsugo and uh take a look at what Setsuko is doing.

Looks like they're closing out game number one. Looks like he's got a Kha'Zix 3. Uh I have dish up on the overlay. Sorry. Let me see if I can relink this. Uh sometimes things get a little messy, but I think we should be good to go here. Okay, so uh Cisco finishes second place to wrap up game number one. Uh and he loses to Marcel P. So Marcel off to a good start. Marcel's the one on Kha'Zix. Setsuko on fast nine. Kha'Zix shooting up the rankings.

Looks like Kha'Zix's win rate is jumping up even further. And shout out to Bro with a Casio as well. That composition is also starting to climb. We talked about or like like not just Casio but also be able to play some Coven. So, a lot of movement. A lot of movement in some of the meta. Love your watchers. Thank you, man. Kha'Zix is meta right now. Kha'Zix is very good. I think we put him like, you know, kind of towards the top right now.

Uh might even be one of those things where if we establish an S tier could be because uh co cops like Kha'Zix are doing really really well. He had the dark essence one. Yeah, you want the you want the coven augment if you can get there. DO with the seventh place. It's not not necessarily the ideal start, but he'll bounce back. Okay, so uh we're going to have some guests coming through in a little bit of time, but uh just getting the ball rolling.

Looks like they're putting in the scores from game number one. Um we're going to be playing three games and then cut. So players need at the bottom need to aggressively start getting good scores. Comes out swinging day number one or day number two with a first place. Wigw looking pretty good. And all of a sudden looks like uh the standings are going to condense a lot. It seems like it seems like every game now there's going to be a person that's going to be trying to commit the Kha'Zix and they're going to try to call for it. Uh, if you don't start start off with Kha'Zix, you might want to try and angle towards it if you can.

Dis looks like Dexter. Uh, you Oh, you mean the the cartoon? I thought you meant the the serial killer double Rengar for Gobster. Good morning, Ruiz. Fun fact, Marcel and Dish have been every lobby together so far. Interesting. a Karma and a Varys, too. So, so Disob's got uh Disobe's got a lot of pairs going on. Item extraction, Pandora's Infinity Protection. I mean, item extraction is going to be something that he defaults to.

He also has a big duplicator, so it should be able to play for some four costs. Uh that duplicator is going to be worth a ton of gold. But the thing is he already has items. So maybe he views item extraction a lot less valuable and he might want to prefer to take econ. Okay. So I thought with take one with you. That's a really good one if you can get that econ going. All right. Disob looks pretty good. Check in with Satsuko.

Booster pack after second place. Setsuko is doing pretty good. Gets a booster pack. Where's Soju? Uh Soju was playing in the America's Cup and he got eliminated day number one. Okay. Warmogs AP start. Bravo who with bodyguard training. A lot of item extraction. Kubon item extraction as well. Spreading roots for Marcel. Hey, Fern, would you say this is one of the more complicated sets? Yeah. Yeah, I would definitely say so.

I think that this set is um I think this set in general is really it has a lot of depth to it, but it's like very difficult. I would say that trying to be consistent this set is really hard because of the charms. Um, and there's a lot of depth to be offered. So, uh, I don't think that this is going to be an easy set, but I will say that this set has like a lot of longevity to it. All right, let's hop on board with Kubixon.

See how his spot is shaping up with the extraction. Looks like he's going for swords, so he'll probably be angling for some niti. Going up against Ner with time skip as well. Okay, seems good. Hop on board with Marcel. See what Marcel was spreading ruse. Looks like he's got spellw weavers. So, he's going to be leaning towards AP and he's going to get his second uh second emblem after the carousel as well. So, I think everything's looking up okay.

Oh, Marcel fixes POV today. Yesterday it was like zoomed in, so we were like cutting off the bombs and sides of the screen. Why is DO and Suko EMA? It's cup number two. This is a home away cup. It's just a format for it. I feel like the same questions get asked every single time there's a cup, too. So, I feel like they need to advertise it a little bit better. Yes. Yesterday we actually saw something kind of cool come out from Scipeus. He actually played a Spellw Weaver Kha'Zix variation and try to play Ari Kha'Zix as opposed to playing Elderwood. So that's like another variation that maybe we'll see busted out. And the spellw weaver emblem and the fact that he's playing coven that coven can also link to Cassiopia. I think there's actually a lot of potential here for smart.

I like his spot. I just got here. No, no, no problem. I just I was I was just making a passing com that I think that uh the TF Esports probably needs to ad uh advertise it better cuz I think like it's one of those things where it's been five sets of this so far or sorry four sets 15 16 17 18. So there's been four sets of this format and people are still asking like I don't understand why people are doing this. Is it the spellw weaver Saraka version with Kha'Zix?

Uh oh. Marcel hits a Cassiopia. You could. Yeah. I mean I I I think the the version that was played with um with Skip was that he played six spellw weaver. I think was it six? I I think I think he ended with it but it might be Saraka. Yeah. because you have to think because he's an executioner and you need to have um someone else hold it. He has lunar. He can I wonder if he can play this into h I wonder if he can find a way to play this into Diana as well.

I mean that fits with Aloon. I I feel like some people would say that you should just like uh try to find a way to play uh for coven here as well and try to play Kha'Zix. But he also might he also might just get out of Kha'Zix. Someone else may have called it, right? It's possible that someone else is going to be playing towards Kha'Zix and he doesn't want to contest which format since season 15. Uh every sec there there's there's three cups of TPC per set.

So there's this is cup two and the second cup they always do a home away cup where they have us half the players of one region play uh with another. So half of EMA plays in Americas and half of America's plays in EMA and half of CN plays in AP pack and vice versa. I don't think we're playing Kha'Zix guys. I think uh Marcel is opting out of it because these stacks do matter. But we have also heard from other people that you could also get the stacks going later like you know maybe you start playing in stage three.

The fact that he's not the fact that he's not selling it makes me think he's still considering it. We probably should put the spell weaver up on the spell weaver Kazix version up on TFT Academy. One thing about this set that I think is um pretty interesting is that there are so many different small variations of cups or comps of cups and cups. Uh there's so many variations of comps that I think it's kind of hard to represent it on a tier list accurately.

Like I think the niti boards and affilios boards there's like a lot of bleed and carryover to different comps. though it's kind of tricky because on the one hand on the one hand you want to put like Niti as a representation of why she's really good but at the same time it's also kind of Ailios but it's also Niti Civer and then that also could be like Frontline Malight but also could be Juggernaut Amumu it also could be Sentinel you know and so there's like a lot of interchangeable parts of the set so it's kind of hard to like accurately represent what the board should look like but you can just keep putting a bunch of variations on That's how it should be.

Yeah, I mean, I think that's how it should be. I think TFT's at its best when there's a lot of variations of that comp. I think the patch itself still has frustrating elements to it when it feels like you're just playing like a four-way contest for the same tree, so you can't you can't hit your front line. You feel like you can't hit your your backline copies. I'd like a couple more lines that are available, but you know, is someone playing Eclipse today?

I don't think so. Oh, is propagate really I mean propagate really mana is still gold positive. So I feel like you still take this here but I don't know what he wants to sacrifice. Is he not going to click it? Okay. Okay. He So he is going Kha'Zix. So he is going Kha'Zix. Okay. Absolutely worth it. Wait does Yeah. I'm like does Camille die first here actually? Oh, I Okay. Okay. So, I don't know. It looks like It looks like It looks like Marcel couldn't actually play Kha'Zix. Disso just has Kha'Zix 2 with a duplicator. Slams a TG. I think he was thinking about Hodge with this one, but actually he went blue buff.

Is he actually playing Kha'Zix? Maybe. Maybe he ends up playing Malight AP Flex instead. Double DB Yunarat 2 with War Path and Magic Roll. Holy cow. I look around and I can't fit anything good on my board and I'm like and I'm thinking, man, I really feel like I should be win streaking here. I have two star three cost.

I've upgraded front line. He He's got good items. He's got good items. He's got good front line. He's got good carry potential. And yet, for some reason, he can't win stage three. This is usually a disaster. And I feel like I I've been in this spot a couple times. My wife was like laughing. She said, "Today I heard you complaining about your spot and you it just was really funny." And I'm like, "When did you turn to a hate watcher?" Uh, and I was like saying, "I don't understand.

Like, I feel like I have a good enough spot to streak stage three and I'm just losing every fight." And D probably feels like he's in the same way. He's like, he has everything. He has all the ingredients to win stage three, but yeah, he doesn't he's not doing it. He also went eighth the first game. There's So, I think he went seventh, but yeah, that's I mean, basically, it's Saraka. Okay. Okay, Sarraka is a is a good start.

Oh, he doesn't even have Kha'Zix. Ah, I see. That's why he is so pissed. Okay. And Nuri with execution emblem contesting him. Solo plate time skip win streaking. Okay, this looks this surely should be able to win a fight. And he's going against bro who playing coven with bodyguard training and explosive growth. Kha'Zix rolling good items as well. If you can get if you get Kha'Zix to get executioner, that's also really nice for him.

Yeah. Okay. There you go. There you go. Some semblance of sanity. So Kaza is going to get an executioner uh active, I think. And then uh activate executioner on Sarraka. And this is good, too. Thingama jig back. Okay, I think this is back. I think he just wished that he could probably uh stabilize earlier, but hey, better late than never. Take a look at Setsugo Ailios. It feels like he's played a lot of Ailios Nitali.

Did Soji get day one? He did. Man, it's been a while. It's actually been a long time since I've seen Soji get day one, but he looked like he was very tilted and uh not happy about the state of affairs. And I think that's very reasonable. But also, I feel like Soju is uh still okay. Like I'm not that worried about him. I think it's like as long as he still does okay at regionals, it ends up being like a funny story. But we'll see.

He still has cup three. Gobo steer. Gobo uh largely pegged as top three in EU right now. It's like uh Gobo, Jedisaur, and Kubixon power rank top three. Most EU in general ranks those top three at the moment. Um because double 61's not really in he's not in TPC right now, so he's not in the spotlight. This is actually a really stacked lobby. It's a really stack lobby. have um you have Tartman who I think is also underrated but Gobo and Kubixon are in this lobby right Kubixon here is uh also he's he's like really young I think people don't know much about Kubixon but he's really young he's rated very highly he he's also a very p he's a very strong win out player uh when he's locked in the thing about him is that he kind of has a little bit of he reminds me a little bit of Spencer in the sense that like he plays a lot and sometimes gets burned out and then he's not really locked in, but he's usually a player that's like very very dangerous, especially if you give him spots where you can play for win outs.

He's very good at converting it usually. Um, and I think a lot of players rate him very highly for it. He's al but the thing is he's also kind of a, you know, kind of a [ __ ] talker. Anybody watching Ironb? I watched a little bit of it while I was getting ready for the morning. Uh, I woke up was, you know, hanging out with my son. Um, and like while I was getting changed and stuff like that, I had Iron Box stream up.

He looks like he was I think he made fun of lobby, right? You know, you know who I said Kubixon reminded me of? He I said I feel like he reminds me of like Bakugo from My Hero from the anime. He kind of has like a like a little bit of the class bully energy, but like not in like a in like a rival way, you know? Not not necessarily like he tries to I don't I don't think he like Okay, the thing is Bako kind of makes it personal, but I feel like he's not trying to make it personal, but he he always feels like everything he says is kind of talking about trying to say like you're trash, but in a different way.

How how do you feel about Malight right now for a tournament? >> Malight as a unit I I like, but I like it with Civer Niti. I do not like it with Saraka. Like for sure I think Saraka uh Zara needs some extra juice for it to like actually be good. Like executioner I mean he does have execution plus one which is one of the conditions that I will play this under. Like spellw weaver plus one plus adaptive is like another conditions that I would play this under. >> Yeah. >> But yeah I think you're right that generally this is definitely the fourth best for costline after like civer and then Aelios and >> even like all of these are better.

I think he lost like three fights and I think he won every fight. Went to eight, rolled, instantly hit Malight 2 and uh Zyra 2.

Basically perfect items. >> Yeah. I mean, it doesn't get much better than this, honestly, in terms of items. Solo plate as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. This is the dream. This is the dream exe malfight setup. And unfortunately for Dishop who uh went eighth, he it looked like everyone else who hit this board was uh you know he he this was the board that DO wanted to play. Zyra Xi is really good. Yeah, it's really efficient. It's like really tough too because I think uh both him and Bro got the pan and Dish did not get the pan.

So execution reble makes such a big difference. Wait, Dish called him a trash player. Wait, what? What did this guy do wrong? He's molding for sure. I mean, I think I think like the the issue is like um a lot of players, they they just their their spots get so much better and because they they pick up something like the pan.

I I think like the free emblems that they can get is I guess not free, but the emblems that they get that fall into their lap is is really really powerful. Like it's like actually it kind of gave me the vibe of what people say about 4v4. Like I've never like seriously competed in 4v4.

Um but like it's like it's surprisingly um deep the amount of stuff that you can do. Like figuring out okay, what lines are we going to play and how do those kind of like line up with each other tempo-wise? like do I want to be strong when you're strong or like weak when you're strong and kind of like compliment it that way. So like I I had a ton of fun and it was like cool to have like a more uh like you know a competitive environment to play double up in.

But I actually do think it has a lot of potential. It's just like I don't know how many people like play double up that much. Um but I do think it does have potential. >> I I think so as well.
