Opening (first 30 seconds)
All right, here's the trade recap for April 14th. Starting at the 6:00 p.m. open, we have a bit of a gap, but the opening candle is red and it has a really large wick, so not trading any continuations here, and then it instantly fills the gap. So, assuming the fair price is somewhere within here, and then it consolidates pretty much all around it just to confirm the fair price somewhere within here. Any move away from this would be unfair, though. So, we get this big jump up, and then

So, we get this big jump up, and then we can look to trade reversion. This is a displacement. Let's see if it breaks structure. Um or these two are They Oh, all three of these are actually equal. I'm not sure if I classify that as structure or not, uh since they're all at the same value, but um just a displacement candle entry, or you can enter here cuz this one breaks this structure. Or this displacement. Um all of these would work.
You're getting 24 points. Probably not enough for a eval. You could do funded account, go for a quick winning day right here. Anyways, Asian session opened. Pre-open candle right here, so it's opening in the fair price. This move down would be unfair. So, you could just go long right here off the break of structure. Only getting 7 1/2 points, so just take a funded account, go for a winning day here if you have one of those.
Uh same thing, I guess, maybe on this candle if you didn't miss if you missed the first one, but that's pretty much all Asian session offered, so uh it doesn't look like anything, and then we get to London session, 3:00 a.m. So, the pre-open candle's right here, right in the fair price. Uh that's as expected. No high time frame bias or anything. Uh so, we'll just look to trade a continuation and then for a reversion.
So, pretty much nothing. No prior price action going into London, so it's sort of its own little thing. Opening candle is very large, or the second minute candle, I guess, is very large and green. It closes consistently way above this and this structure. Uh above this one, but not above this. So, it's a pretty normal one to just take a continuation long off of just because it's the volume spike. The opening candle. I honestly would classify the 302 as the opening candle because these literally have the same volume as less volume somehow than these.
So, it just looks like the opening candle would be here. And then just trade a continuation of it. Pretty easy. Then you look for a reversion back here. Something off a break of structure would be right here. So. That's a pretty nice set standard reversion. That one loses obviously. Second one here where we break structure. Displacement candle. Pretty much everything you need. Really good set up, but unfortunately just get stopped out.
And then um that's pretty much it for London honestly. Um I don't know if you would try one more time. Usually I've I mean it definitely depends on how many accounts you have. Like if you only have two accounts, you're obviously just doing one continuation, one reversion. Um and how many sessions you can trade. I would recommend doing two to um no more than three main reversions for sure. But if you wanted a third entry, this one looks pretty fine cuz it broke below the structure.
So, this would be the third one. And then that's 38 points just like usual. But yeah, pretty unfortunate London session refusing to revert, but a nice continuation of the opening trend. And then obviously here there was like absolutely no volume anywhere. So. Going into New York open, I guess this price seems pretty fair just because it's been consolidating here for so long. And on open, we get a red candle. Nope, green candle.
Green candle, very large, very green, closes above previous structure. So, it's a good time to go long and continue this trend. The opening trend. There we go. 38 points. Pretty easy take profit there. After that, definitely look for a reversion back into the fair price here. And in this case, I would say that the fair price is in here instead of down here. Like this is a pre-open candle. It doesn't make that big of a difference like here versus here, but just because the volume spiked about approximately with this candle.
It spiked here, came down here, so the consolidation pre-volume would be the fair price, which is just pretty much this consolidation. And then start looking for a reversion. Uh no break of structure. This is displacement. If you trade that, then this would be a good entry. Break of structure. No break of structures here at all. Let me just double-check cuz you do have structure here, but then it and it wicks through and then this one wicks and it wicks through.
It doesn't close below it. Uh here. This is the next structure. It wicks it, does not close. Next structure would be here. Wick, no close, so it's not proving its move down. It keeps wicking the move down, which is why we like to wait for a close. Uh And then no structure. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Until here. Nope, here, but still it's wicking. It's not closing. Um hopefully I'm not missing any. Wicking, not close.
Wick, no close. Wow. Oh, there we go. So, here would be your first short just because it finally closes below structure. And then it's literally 11:00 a.m., so literally only one reversion trade. Perfect for funded accounts. Take this trade and then you're done for the day if it does not win because it's not the best to keep shorting after 11:00 because the volume dies out and then you're just going to see solid green.
So, that would be the 11:00 first session. Win here, lose here. Hopefully you're taking this on a funded account just cuz you have 120 points in your favor. It's a really good one to hit that big win. Honestly, there's no news, so I'm not really sure what exactly has been causing this incredibly long drift up. Um but we'll see. Uh so, honestly, just assuming the fair price is somewhere below and that uh I just wanted to short because this short didn't work out.
I wanted to come back to the market open. So, 2:00 p.m. very high timeframe bias of short, so we'll just see what the opening candle gives us. Okay, opening candle green, but not really taking continuation because it doesn't it's not I don't know. Um it's at like all-time highs of the past month. Uh it's not the best to trade a continuation of that if that makes sense. Um Market open it's fine, too, because you have this previous high right here and your target's like pretty much that previous high.
Um but at 2:00 p.m. it's not the worst thing, actually. We're Let's see where the entry would be. Oh. Yeah, the only problem is there's like no volume. It wouldn't be the worst entry. Uh my just my high timeframe bias was really, really bearish, so I really wanted shorts. Uh so, I just entered on this candle or this one, one of these two, just where it closed below the previous structure. And that was a pretty nice win right there.
So, that was it for the 2:00 p.m. session. Uh I did not want to trade reversion long as cuz I honestly thought the fair price would be lower, but it turns out I was wrong on this day. So, that would be everything for the 14th.
