I started carrying a new firearm... transcript

Nobody even knows this firearm exists yet except for me and the company that made it. This will be the first video ever in the world that features that firearm and I can't wait to tell you about it. Take a guess what's with me? The phone. First Rolex was a black Submariner. Had a crazy night in Miami hanging out with this was a long time ago. I was a different person. It's also a tour knife. Love this thing. Been carrying it for quite a while.

It's opened a lot of Amazon boxes. Tons of them. This is probably what everybody's been waiting for. Saved it for the very end. This right here is my new everyday carry. All right, guys. It's everyday carry time. So, this might be the last everyday carry video I ever do. I think the last one I did was right around sometime in 2024. And surprisingly, not a whole lot has changed. When I find something that I like that works, I stick with it.

And I don't generally change it unless something better comes out. Some of these things are advertisers of mine. Some of them aren't. Some of them are products that friends have given me that I really like. It doesn't really matter. I'm not going to tell you which ones are which because I genuinely use every single product that I'm about to show you. And I also actually added some sentimental ones that um that have been with me through my SEAL career, maybe through my CA career that I still use today.

But there has been one major change. I have switched my firearm. And the cool thing is nobody even knows this firearm exists yet except for me and the company that made it. So, when I get to that portion, this will be the first video ever in the world that features that firearm. And I can't wait to tell you about it. But first, let's get into some stuff that I use every single day the most. And some of that has changed because of the way my business has evolved.

So thing that I use the most just like you and everybody you know unfortunately is this damn phone. Goes with me everywhere. Literally everywhere I take a [ __ ] Guess what's with me? The phone. That's right. Let me start this off with a story. So trying to spice things up in the bedroom. So, I started researching all these different erotic toys on the internet, like trying to find a way to spice it up in the bedroom on these uh storefronts.

And, you know, there's some interesting [ __ ] in there, some real interesting stuff. So, I started looking at these things. Some of them you strap on, some of them are little massagers, some of them taste good. Some of them don't taste good. Some of them you think, how the hell am I going to get that thing on? Some of them you're like, I don't see how that's going to feel good. But okay, so anyways, I'm looking at all this stuff and I settle on this thing.

It It's called the dolphin. You put it somewhere. I'm not going to tell you where you put it. You figure it out. Go online and figure it out for yourself. So anyways, I spend like all this time researching, looking at all the different models. What's the perfect one? What's what's the one my wife's going to like? And I get it. We test it out. We like it. It works for both of us. It's great. I'm telling you, you should get online.

They got another one. It's called the Beaver and uh very similar. I haven't tried that one yet. Maybe you guys can try it. Leave it in the comments section if you like it. So anyways, couple weeks after I get this new magical erotic toy, we rarely come out of the bedroom now. My in-laws decide they want to come over and I'm having a tea and my mother-in-law comes in. She's making a coffee. It's early in the morning. Nobody wants to hang out with their mother-in-law first thing in the morning. and she she starts randomly talking about this thing called the dolphin.

I about spit my tea out and I'm like the dolphin. Like what's what um what dolphin? And I started getting like super paranoid in my head. I'm like, "Oh [ __ ] did I leave this thing? Like did we leave it on the couch? I thought we cleaned everything out of the guest room the last time we were in there." what else was in there? So, she just keeps going on about this thing called the dolphin, but she's not getting like very descriptive.

And then about I don't know 20 30 minutes later, my wife comes out and my mother-in-law is still like talking about dolphins and the dolphin very vaguely, almost like she's dropping a hint like, "I know what you're doing to my daughter." And I'm like, and my wife's looking at me like, "Did you, you know, like giving me the death look." And then my father-in-law comes out and he looks pissed off. Normally he's pretty happy in the morning, but he starts going on about the dolphin.

And then he brings up this thing called the beaver. And I'm like, "Oh [ __ ] like what what what's the deal?" And I I broke down out of my own paranoia and basically fessed up and said that I had purchased this thing called the Dolphin. And they look at me and they're just saying, "Uh, we have been getting these advertisements on our phones nonstop about this thing called the dolphin." And so anyways, this leads me So this is humiliating.

Now I'm caught red-handed with the dolphin and what we've been doing all over the house and so yeah, thank you data brokers and things getting sucked out of my applications and spying on me. So anyways, I made this app called Glacier. The Glacier app keeps all that data from being sucked out of your phone and advertised to everybody that's on your network everywhere they go. Now you can privately research erotic toys without your in-laws waking up in the morning and accusing you of using them.

You're welcome. And uh it's available on Android now for anybody that wants to download the Glacier app. Moving on. Do you want to see the dolphin? >> I'll bet you do. All right, let's move on to some other stuff that I think, you know, I told you I got some kind of sentimental type stuff that I want to kind of work in here. So, here's one. I think some of you guys have seen this on the show. This is a with your shield or on it patch.

This is a saying that the Spartans used to say before they went to battle or the wives used to tell their husbands, "Come home with your shield or on it." Basically saying, "Don't be a [ __ ] Give it your best. Fight it out." This is my wife's one-year sobriety coin. She gave this to me when I hit my first year without booze. Now, it's been about 4 and 1/2 years. And so I keep this on my bedside table or actually my uh my uh yeah like my nightstand thing and look at it every single day.

Gives me motivation. This a lot of you guys have seen me wear these. I haven't worn one in a while. You see a lot of veterans wearing these. These black bracelets. What these are is a tribute to the fallen military veterans. military, active military that were killed in action. These This one right here is from uh Tai Woods and Glenn Dohy uh who were killed in Benghazi. It's a memorial bracelet. So, if you ever see a veteran wearing one of these, that's what it is.

Very sentimental. This beautiful piece of jewelry, which is not for sale, was made by my son in preschool. Also keep that on my nightstand. I look at it every day. I think it's just cool as [ __ ] man. Those of you that have kids, you get it. This microphone jack, it's in the studio all the time in a card. So, another little story for you. So, this microphone jack is from an audio engineer that works for me. First audio engineer ever at the Shawn Ryan Show.

And you know, I started off in the attic. It was me and my wife. Episode five, I decided I needed an audio engineer because my audio sucked. And if you don't believe me, you can go back and uh listen to those episodes and you'll see how bad it used to be. Used to pay him like 200 bucks an episode. whopping $200 an episode to uh fix all my audio issues. And since then, we've gone to another studio and then we built the studio that you see today.

And so, right before we moved in there, that audio engineer who went from making $200 an episode now runs my entire company. He is my chief operating officer and he kills it. and he sent me this, put it in a note in a card and said that this how it was talking about how how far we've come and uh and he he cut the cord, put it in there and said this is what I was listening through to episode 5 when I very first started for you.

So, I don't know. I'm sentimental. I think it's cool to have these things. Moving on, let's go from the feet to the head and everything in the pockets. All right. So, I wear Klehan shoes. Are they the coolest? No. But I'm getting old. My back hurts. I need more support. They're kind of cool. They're like cool old man shoes. I wear labomba socks. I wear Tom Ford jeans. I still wear the same Bianke belt that I've been wearing since I was in the SEAL teams.

We'll throw a little picture up just to prove it. Been wearing this thing for like 20s something years. Hasn't changed. I've been through a lot of them, but not that many. So, these things are super sturdy. They're great for a gun belt. And uh maybe they don't look the coolest, but I think they look pretty damn cool. I wear a Robert Barakeet white or black shirt every single day. It's white or black. That's the only decision that I make.

I have like 20 pairs of the same jeans, 20 white shirts, 20 black shirts, and that's the only decision I'm pretty much making every morning is if I'm going to go white or black. uh cover shirt. I don't even know how to say this brand. Isaiah is I don't know. But pretty much every cover shirt that I'm wearing in the episode is from this brand. This one right here. It's got a red tag like that. I think it looks cool. Love this stuff.

And then SRS hat company only for what, two years now? Two years now. We get a lot of requests. Hey, can I get one of those SRS caps? No, it's company only. But now we have company only jackets. So, I don't know. Maybe head on over to the website. You might find these for sale. I don't know. Doesn't mean you're getting a job, but you can might be able to purchase one. Maybe. I don't know. You guys already know this. So that is the Rolex black GMT. They don't make them anymore. And believe it or not, they actually do go up in value. This was my second Rolex. Another funny story for you. First Rolex was a black Submariner. Had a crazy night in Miami hanging out with strippers. It happens. This was a long time ago. I was a different person. We had a lot of fun and then I passed out in the bushes out front and woke up with no keys, no wallet, no watch.

I'm sure that person is just borrowing it. So if you do, this was like I don't know 10, 15 years ago. If you do still happen to have that watch and you want to return it, you can f you can find the P.O. box on the website. And since so this watch is really cool, man. I've I've uh I have some other watches, but this watch has been to Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Taiwan, Dubai, everywhere I've gone, I wear this watch.

And so, I originally got the Rolex because everybody in the world knows what a Rolex is. And you guys know what I used to do. at CIA when I contracted for CIA. And so there was a lot of situations where I may need to get out of there fast where I'm not necessarily going to use my piece, my firearm. I want to get out of there quietly. And so take this, flip it to somebody that has a piece of [ __ ] Toyota Corolla or a moped or whatever.

And it's a peaceful way to be like, "Hey, here's $10,000. give me that damn car because I need it and I need it now. And so I started wearing that. You know, it's always on your wrist, easy to get rid of. And um obviously I never had to do it because I still have the same time piece. And uh so huge sentimental value to me now. Maybe one day, not maybe, one day it'll be passed down to my son or my daughter. I don't know which one.

Since then, started getting into watches, but I always go back to this one. This is the uh white gold Submariner. Basically, I got it because I wanted to make two kind of heirloom pieces that have a story behind it because I think about these things. Am I gonna give that to my son or my daughter? I don't know. So, I need two. So, I need to make memories with that one. So, I've worn this one a lot on the show when I interview one of a kind, amazing people.

So, they both have stories. You can see me wearing both these on the show. This is one that I always wanted. And when I started my contracting career, I started working at Blackwater. Many of you guys have heard of it. So, Blackwater, they made the everybody in the executive team one of these Brightling emergencies. So, basically what this is, it's a really cool time piece, is you unscrew this, you pull the pin, there's an antenna, yank the antenna out, it sends out a distress signal, and somebody, no matter where you are in the world, is coming to get you.

Uh, then they stopped making them because the military bought the frequency back or something and then they started making them again. And actually, I went to go and possibly get a new one recently, and they told me that they quit making them because so many people were pulling the pins by accident. And I asked, "Well, does that make this does that make this thing not even functional anymore?" And they couldn't actually answer the question.

So, I know a lot of people think that's cool. A lot of people are going to want one. Unfortunately, I don't know of any other time piece that's of this type caliber. this Rolex Brightling caliber that does it anymore. So, I am going to give you an alternative and I think the name of this company is ACR. But anyways, something cool to have in your bull bag, especially, you know, if you're somebody like I used to be or whatever, snow skiing, hiking, get attacked by a bear, car wreck.

Basically, take this thing off, pull this antenna out, whips around, sends out a distress signal. So, there you go. I like giving options. There's an option. Not as cool as the Brightling, but guess what? I don't think the Brightling works anymore. So, although it still will send out a distress signal, but I don't know if anybody's coming to get you. So, anyways, time pieces. Okay. All right. What else is in the pockets here?

All right. We got, you ready for this? A rosary. So, a lot of you have probably heard, you know, I'm in somewhat of a spiritual battle now. And uh but anyways, this one was given to me. I've had a rosary in my pocket, man, every day for years now. This is the second one that I've been wearing. If you remember, I had Father Rehill on my show maybe two maybe three years ago now. I don't know. But uh he gave me this rosary.

This is from he got this in uh a town called Mujigori I think is in Bosnia where the Virgin Mary shows up I think every day and uh kind of conducts miracles. And uh we're actually thinking about maybe doing an episode out there and capturing some stuff. But anyways, so he's blessed this. I carry it every day in my left pocket. Have been for ever since he came on the show. Now, before he came on the show, I used to carry one of these ones and I think the and I started giving them out uh on the show is spiritual protection.

So, this one, this is called the Warriors Rosary. And uh this is, you can get these from uh my friend Dom Razo. Uh I think his website is crushverthing.com. But this is what I used to carry in my pocket. I gave one to Christian Craighead. I gave one to Jim Cavisel. I've given one to a ton of people. And um gave one to my dad. I give them to a lot of people that I really care about and uh a lot of those people are on the Shawn Ryan show too.

And so anyways, Dom gave me one of these a long time ago and I've been giving them out uh on the show for years. Like I said, it's called the Warriors Rosary. They come in this nice leather case that actually smells amazing. The entire team thinks that. But yeah, I don't know. If you're into spiritual protection, get a rosary and carry it in your pocket everywhere you go. Sleep with it. Wear it around your neck. I don't know.

But I feel protected when I have it on me. And sometimes when I get nervous, I just put my hand in my pocket and hold on to it tightly. But uh cool. So spiritual protection rosaries. Next. What we got back here? My wallet. Leather wallet. This one is I don't even see a name. Anyways, I like a uh a small wallet. Holds just a couple credit cards. Uh one thing that I always advise people, keep cash on you. I don't know, keep a couple hundred bucks on me at all times.

Never know what kind of situation you're going to get out of or into with a couple hundred bucks in your wallet. Goes a long ways. Maybe you don't like standing in lines. Could help you not have to stand in line. Anyways, uh especially, you know, I started doing that overseas. Like I always look for, you know, things that can get me in or out of a situation in a moment's notice. the Rolex cash. One thing I didn't talk about on my phone is a Bitcoin wallet.

Just things of value that everybody knows are of value that you can immediately pass off and trade to get yourself out of a situation, to get yourself a car, to get whatever it is, to get people to shut up, get people to hide you, whatever it is you need. If you don't have anything to trade, then uh you're pretty much screwed. So, there's that. What else? Oh, here's a new addition. eyeglasses. Started wearing eyeglasses.

It's fun getting old, isn't it? A lot of you know what I'm talking about. So, eyeglasses. These ones are Rokas. Super comfortable, super light. Half the time you forget you're even wearing the damn things. So, uh, love this brand. Here's another sentimental thing. Probably favorite pair of sunglasses I've ever bought. These are Cutler and Grass. These are about, I don't know, 15, 20 years old. There's a painting of me buying cot in Yemen.

And I'm wearing these shades. Wore these all over the world. I don't know. I just think they look cool. They're kind of one of a kind. They don't make them anymore. They're designer glasses. I don't know. Still the same pair I was wearing back then. I'll probably never get rid of them, but uh a lot of you guys probably know the painting I'm talking about. Then when I don't feel like wearing those once again, the ROAS, they make sunglasses, too.

Once again, super comfortable, pretty stylish. I get asked about my shades all the time. There they are. Cool. All right, let's get into some weapons. All right. I travel a lot. A lot of you guys probably know what this was. These hurt like hell if you get jacked with one of these brass knuckles. These are from my friend Eddie Gallagher. It has uh FAFO engraved on the knuckles. I'm sure you can figure out what that means.

But uh anyways, I don't even know if he still sells these things, but I wouldn't put a pass Eddie if he is. He's a badass. Anyways, uh yeah, we go a lot of places where you can't really check a knife, you can't really check, you know, some some states we go, you can't check a gun. And um so these make a great belt buckle, not a weapon, a belt buckle. So anyways, brass knuckles. Cool blades. It's one of my favorites. Whoa.

Bet you haven't seen one of these since 1985, right? Yeah. the OG switchblade. So, you know, you press this, goes in. Everybody's seen movies where they get jacked with a switchblade. This is like the OG. Now, they have all these cool ones, right, that all these other companies are coming out, but this is the OG one. I got to be honest, I don't even know the name of the company. This was uh given to me by a good friend that used to work here, and now he's moved on to bigger and better things.

But anyways, you have to Google around, find it yourself. So, what else do we got? Fixed blades, right? So, here's a couple of fixed blades. This one is cool. I don't really carry this, but it's kind of sentimental. It's like the first cool gift that my father-in-law ever gave me. I'll probably never get another one after he found out about the dolphin. But, uh, or maybe he'll use it on me. I don't know. But, uh, this is Randall.

Randall made cool blade. Little more practical. This one, uh, is one that you would actually carry on you. This is a tour knife. And Travis Haley actually gave this to me when he came on the show. And I don't know how many know who Travis Haley is. Probably all of you if you're watching an Everyday Carry video. But Travis does not settle for anything less than the best. If he vouches for this and gave it to me, I know it's a damn good piece of equipment.

So, this, like I said, tour knives. It's one fixed blade. I like to give options, so I gave you two fixed blades here. Randall Tour. My friend Domzo makes some awesome blades. Uh, in fact, this is a G10 blade, so not metal. Dom also doesn't settle for anything less than the best. Crush everything.com. His company's Dynamus. Dom made these or when he started making them, but he just sent me one not long ago. There's a couple companies that do this, but uh there are very few people in the business that I trust more than Dom or Travis Haley. and so fixed blades, but usually the blade that I carry is some type of a folder.

So, believe it or not, it's also a tour knife. Love this thing. Been carrying it for quite a while. It's opened a lot of Amazon boxes. [ __ ] tons of them. You know, I don't know. I'm sure you guys have been in fights with Amazon boxes, too. Tour knives. And uh Travis Haley gave me this one, too. Bad ass blade and sharp as [ __ ] I love this damn thing. Tour Knives, Dynamus Alliance, the 1985 movies, Switchblade, Randall Made, and if we're exchanging hands, brass knuckles, FAFO for Eddie Gallagher.

All right, what's next in uh Sean's bag of tricks. Let's get into some more sentimental type stuff. Got some Bibles, everyday book. Cool. So, all right. What do we got here? Well, let's start with Bibles. Everywhere I go, we do a lot of traveling. Um, I bring a Bible with me. These two are kind of sentimental. I don't bring these two with me because I'm scared to death that I'm going to lose them. Uh, but Christian Craighead, my friend Christian Craighead, uh, many of you know who he is by now.

Obi-Wan Nairobi. We just had him on the podcast and uh got his firsthand account of what that entire event was like. And uh anyways, he gave me this his very first time on the show and I've had it ever since. This one uh is really cool. This is from my friend Josh Howton, pastor in Texas. And this was given out to troops in World War II. They put it in their breast pocket like this and um stops a bullet. So very cool.

These are super rare. Given to me by a good, really good friend of mine. And um while I don't take these two cuz I don't want to lose them. Probably be heirloom items. I do take a Bible every single place I go. This the Jesus Calling book. You've heard me talk about it on the show several times. I have a whole stack of these things because I give it out on the show. I think I gave Sean Strickland one. I gave George Christy one.

I gave Mooch one. The Mongol biker. Anybody who's kind of interested in Christ, who's not quite there yet, I give him one of these cuz I get a lot of inspiration for this. So basically what it is, those of you that don't watch the show, it's a kind of a daily inspirational. And so today is September 18th. I read this every morning when I wake up and I highlight what resonates with me. So this is September 18th. Everybody can probably relate to this.

You inhabit a fallen, disjointed world where things are constantly unraveling around the edges. Only a vibrant relationship with me can keep you from coming unraveled, too. Me being Jesus Christ. So, I don't know. It's just a good thing to read, wake up to, drink your coffee, tea, orange juice, whatever in the morning. kind of keeps you grounded and uh I don't know, speaks to me every time I read it. Maybe it will to you, too.

This deliverance prayers. So, some scary stuff in here, but it works. And, uh, so another good friend of mine, Father Riper, uh, exorcist, worldrenowned exorcist, gave this to me when he was on the show. You can get these on Amazon, but you can't get the one with the gold pages on Amazon. That's right. I would read these to you, but it'd probably scare the hell out of you, literally. So, um, every time I go into a new place, hotel, whatever, I read some of these, kind of cleanse it out, and then a lot of you are probably aware of some of the things I've been going through as of the past, I don't know, three months now.

I say a lot of these sometimes I just open a page and read what's on it and then I have specific ones uh that I read deliverance prayers father and then this is a St. Benedict crucifix. Dan Snder gave me one of these um first time he came on the show. It is a weapon that exorcists use. And uh so I keep this on my nightstand. If you watch the Christian Craig Head interview, I gave him the one that Dr. Dan Schneider gave me on the show that I kept on my nightstand.

I'm trying not to get attached to things, which is kind of funny that I just mentioned these Bibles and then uh the Rolex earlier and some of the other sentimental stuff, but I'm trying not to get attached to things. And so I'm starting to try to like pass things on quickly that do mean something to me on the show cuz I know they're going to have a good home. Like I know Christian Craighead really appreciates this thing that I gave them, this crucifix.

And I detach from the item and move on with my life. And uh Dr. Dan Schneider must have seen that I gave that out on the show. And right after it released, he sent me another one. uh with a nice letter. So now I got another one that's been blessed by Father Riper and uh Dan Scher gave it to me. So there's that. All right. Next medical. I don't carry a lot of medical, but what I do carry is a tourniquet. So, this one is from Snake Staff Systems.

And uh you know, tourniquets, you know, people carry these. They don't even know how to use them. It's kind of pathetic. You need to time yourself. You need to prep these things so that you actually do know how to use them. But I ran across this company, Snake Staff Systems, and they make they make a smaller one. works on kids, works on pets, you know, but uh tourniquets come in handy a lot more than what you think, you know, nobody knows, like I I shouldn't say nobody knows how to use these things, but a lot of people aren't familiar with how to use them.

And so, you know, yeah, you might not get shot in the arm or in the leg or whatever and have to, you know, tourniquet your brachial or moral artery, but you might be running a chainsaw. Definitely a possibility you're going to need one. Might get into a car accident, your arm might fly through a window. Definitely a good idea to have one. Lots and lots of other accidents happen every single day throughout the world where you may need a tourniquet.

So, it is a great idea to have one of these. And let me tell you, if not for yourself, you're never going to forgive yourself if you could have saved your kid with a tourniquet and you were too lazy to take the 5 minutes that it takes to learn how to use this thing and apply it. Because when the bleeding starts, it goes quick, buddy. real quick. And um so this is a a very reputable brand. Once again, Snake Staff Systems.

One thing about tourniquets, don't go on Amazon and buy the cheap Chinese [ __ ] You want something that's tested, that has a reputation behind it. If it's not this company, there's other companies that make them, too, that are reputable. But you don't want to get some cheap chinzy 3D printed crap where this windless uh whatever the hell they call this handle thing breaks because if that thing breaks it's useless. So the other thing is once you if you get one to practice with don't use it in real life but I would suggest getting a tourniquet.

Little personal testimony with this thing. this exact one. Member of my team, actually one of the guys filming this right now, gave it to a paramedic to test out. He put it on an elderly woman who had a formoral artery bleed in her inner thigh here. Paramedic slapped it on, stayed on there for 3 hours, saved her life. So there you go. Didn't get shot in the leg, but cut herself somehow. So get a tourniquet. Know how to use it.

Make sure everybody in your family knows how to use it. I know you're all nodding your head yes and probably 99% of you aren't going to do it. I'm telling you, it would be a really good idea. Probably better than anything else that's been on this table. So, tourniquets, they're important. All right, let's get into some cool electronic stuff. All right. You're probably wondering, "What the hell is this shit?" Okay. Well, this is an iPhone charger.

Looks like an iPhone charger. I don't actually carry this everywhere, but it is pretty damn cool. It's called the OMG cable. If you remember, first time I heard about this, Bryce Case Jr. was on. Second time I heard about this, I brought the inventor of this thing on, Mike Grover. And so what is this? This is an iPhone charger. It has a chip in it. You can swap this out with any iPhone charger. Nobody would know the difference.

You plug your phone into this thing. I'm in there. I can see everything you're doing. I can get your keystrokes, your passwords, everything. So, pretty cool little piece of equipment here. Would you like to charge your iPhone? This the Ridge Wallet battery. I keep this in my backpack all the time when I'm traveling. I have a whole ton of these things. Keep them in the cars. Keep them anywhere. You got to keep the phone charged, you know.

And uh this one is at 100%. I just yanked this out of my car. It's probably been sitting in there for 6 months. Still at 100%. But uh yeah, I keep I just keep these all over. I keep them in my airport bag, keep them in my suitcase, keep them in my car, keep them in my fanny pack, keep them everywhere I go. That way I'm not scurrying around looking for wall outlets at the mall or sitting on the floor at the airport. A good little piece of equipment.

These This is cool. Ryan Montgomery gave me this a long time ago. I bring it when I'm traveling. You hit the button and uh it basically tells you if anybody's trying to listen to you, suck anything out of your phone, whatever. If it's red, you're dead. If it's green, you're clear. Cool. This thing, it's a weird looking cover, right? The Nan box. Once again, my friend Ryan Montgomery gave me this thing. Basically, what does it do?

Well, let's say you're in a hotel room with your wife and you want to yank the dolphin out. have a little fun. Well, you turn this thing on and anybody that's trying to spy on you and figure out how to use the Dolphin themselves, well, guess what? You can block the signal. So, unless they're uh, you know, storing the footage locally, you don't have to worry about it. They can't see anything. Just goes fuzzy. You can block other things.

Cell phone signal, all kinds of stuff. You want to talk in private. Good little piece of uh equipment to have here. Okay. What is this? This is a Wi-Fi box made by Glacier. We're actually thinking about mass-producing these things. So, anyways, what is this? It's a Wi-Fi box. It's got a secure VPN on it. Why do you need this? Well, I bring this everywhere I go when I travel. That way, I'm not trusting airport Wi-Fi, hotel Wi-Fi, restaurant Wi-Fi, coffee shop Wi-Fi.

I mean, now people are setting up fake Wi-Fi everywhere you go to try to steal your information, even on airplanes. I just saw there was one some guy that like set up a I can't remember if it was Delta or United or whatever. They make it look like it's legitimate Wi-Fi. Nashville airport Wi-Fi. Now, you got all these people that are connecting to the wrong damn Wi-Fi network. They connect to the Wi-Fi and guess what?

They steal all your [ __ ] They steal your identity, your banks, everything. And so we always travel with one of these. Whole team can use it, whole family can use it, whatever. It's a trusted network with a VPN, so we're not h having to worry about using whatever that Wi-Fi is. And uh yeah, so I don't know. And we're also going to do I can't remember the acronym, but when we do come out with these, if we do come out with these, it will be up to the standard that US government agencies, military, whatever, their standard of using this, not just some chinzy [ __ ] that a lot of these companies get from China and sell. It's an actual uh real device cuz you don't want to buy crap that's, you know, that you can't trust because then somebody else could be tracking it.

Anyways, All right, we're getting down to the wire here. Are we going to talk about the firearm next? Nope. Okay, sometimes when I want to carry more than what I can carry in my pockets, I carry a Jansport fanny pack. It's like 10 bucks and it does the job. Wear it over my shoulder. You can put, I don't know, all kinds of stuff in here. A lot of the stuff that I just had But I'll keep in there like the battery. I don't know, all kinds of stuff.

But I always keep extra batteries, optic for my firearm, which we'll get into in a little bit. One, two, three batteries for flashlights, AAA's, double A's, and then what else? I put a little air tag in here in case somebody steals it. Unfortunately, now you get like this notification that there's an air tag by you. So, those of you that are trying to that are a little crazy trying to track your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend, guess what?

You get notified if there's an Air Tag next to you. So, you're really going to look crazy. And then, uh, lighters, always carry a Zippo. For those of you that know, we do some one-ofa-kind like collectors type lighters at vigilanceite.com or seaow.com. Cool little Zippos. But it's always good to have a lighter. Never know when you might want to smoke, start a fire, burn them, burn it down. Anyways, cool flashlight. There we go.

This is what I'm carrying. The [ __ ] I can't remember what you call it, but it's surefire. Super bright. It's got these push buttons to control the brightness right here. Low, medium, high. Yay. What's kind of cool, which I didn't like at first cuz I didn't think it would actually last, is these are rechargeable. Usually I don't like the rechargeable [ __ ] but this one actually keeps a charge. What happens is this light, see it's green right here?

That means it's charged. When it starts to die, I think it turns like an amber. And then when you're really close to the battery dying, it turns red. But I keep this in my EDC bag or on my person or in the car. I got a whole bunch of them made by Surefire. Sorry. Can't remember what the name of the actual light is. I don't know what these things do on the side. I don't even really care cuz works out of the box. So anyways, yeah, cool flashlight, right?

You can see in the dark. Okay, so this is probably what everybody's been waiting for. Saved it for the very end. There's only one thing after this. What did I change my everyday carry firearm to? We're going to get to that. But before we do, how my EDC has changed over the years and how it started. So, it started everyday carry being concealed. It started I started carrying concealed when I was contracting for CIA and uh we didn't really have much of a choice but everybody was issued I know you know what this is a Glock 17 and how we would carry we'd carry under a cover shirt like this I would always carry it by 3:00 uh that's where most people carried there wasn't a lot of appendix u I didn't know anybody But it was carrying appendix back then.

We always carry it here. You shoot your qualifications from here. Everything was from there. And uh you just wear a cover shirt cuz you want to access it as quick as possible. I've been talking about some sentimental things throughout the duration of this everyday carry pocket dump video, and uh this firearm probably means more to me than any of the other ones that I own. And uh this was my best friend Gabe Bccard's firearm.

And uh for those of you that watch the show or have heard me talk about him before, he was my best friend. And uh he died several years ago. And this was his Glock 17. So Glock 17. Then as time moved on, I started carrying a Glock 19. And this is what I was carrying kind of immediately after I left the agency. I would just It's a little bit smaller, more compact. I had was running black on black sights. Stippled this myself, put in the finger grooves myself.

Uh yeah, so this was my everyday carry for quite a while. until the Glock 43 came out. Everybody was excited about this thing, right? So, carried Glock 43. Actually, it wasn't very long, but at the time it was I don't know if I'd say revolutionary, but you could get the, you know, the the magazines with the extended grip. I put on some skateboarder tape here to help me get a bigger grip. kept this side smooth. That way it's not digging into my gut, you know, and rubbing the skin off and stuff.

I put skateboard tape right up front here cuz these things were pretty snappy and it's hard to keep your grip on there. So, I put, you know, my thumb right there helps stay. It helps keep my thumb in place, helps keep that grip. Put some skate tape up top. That way, you know, you need to reload. It's got that friction on there. Most people just use the sights, but I had extra skate tape, so I said, "What the hell?" Put it on the top.

And then I put a fiber optic site on there cuz I don't think I could find the black on black at the time. Anyways, so was running this for a little bit. Was never like a huge fan of this. And then Sig came out with the P 365, which was actually a revolutionary firearm, one that I still carry today until I change. But the P365, I think it came out in around 2018, 2019 time frame. And you know what made this revolutionary was the 12 round magazine, the Glock, I think that carried I think that held like eight rounds if I remember correctly.

It might have been five. I can't remember. I haven't carried it so long. But they came out with this 12 round magazine that when you load it, most people can get a full grip. You're not your pinkie is not hanging off anything like that. And you know what was revolutionary about this? In my opinion, I remember it was the only time I ever went to Shot Show and hopefully the last time I ever go to Shot Show, but I remember talking to the guys at SIG at the Sig booth and I remember them telling me that they designed the magazine first and then they designed the firearm around the magazine.

And so this and everything in its class, the Glock 43, everything was a single stack mag. And they were super snappy. You heard me talking about it. That's why I put the tape on it. Well, then Sig came out with the P365 double stack magazine. It's got more weight behind it. It's got a wider grip. It's not near as snappy. And I remember I could not wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys. Like I said, I've still been carrying it literally until today cuz we just got the new piece today, which I have tested out.

But amazing, amazing piece of equipment. I think this revolutionized subcompact carry guns across the board. Everybody wanted to be the P365, but nobody could cut it other than Sig. Literally everyone I know, everyone I respect, everybody carries one of these things or a version of it. So P365. The other thing, you know, they put I mean, I don't need skateboard tape. I don't need to stipple it. They manufacture it like this.

They got the serrations on the front of the slide, the serrations on the rear of the slide that comes with the night sights. I mean, a thing is just, in my opinion, pretty much perfection for a subcompact carry gun. And I remember the first time I reviewed it. I don't even know if it's still up on YouTube, but I hit a 100 yard shot on the first try on camera in my backyard. It was awesome. Anyways, then Sig came out with the next version of the P365, which is the P365 Macro, which you know holds 17 rounds or you can even get the extended mags, holds 21 rounds plus one in the pipe.

So can even get, you know, you can still get a full grip, a little bit longer, a little bit more range, a little bit more accurate. They put the compensator up front, helps with muzzle flip, helps with recoil, keeps you on basically, what does it do? It helps keeps you on target to re-engage faster. This was also, I mean, pretty revolutionary at its time. And a lot of people upgraded to this, including myself for the longest time.

If I was traveling or going somewhere or I don't know, let's say like I'm going to the mall or Black Friday or something where there's a lot of people where I feel like there's a higher chance of something happening, then I would go back to the Glock 19 because it held 15 rounds versus the 12 plus one in the pipe. Then they came out with this and it holds, like I said, 17 rounds or with the extended mag, 21 rounds plus one in the pipe.

That's as much as a full size pistol and not really much bigger. I mean, look at these. Not a whole whole lot of size difference. So, I started carrying the P365 Macro if I was going somewhere. Now, the thing that you've really all been waiting for is this bad boy, which isn't even released yet. The P 385 6h hour carry firearm. I went out to SIG about what two months ago at this point and they had me test this thing.

This legitimately is perfection. And we just got these bad boys in today. I love this firearm. I love this gun. So, let me tell you about it. So, some of the upgrades they made, they put the flat trigger in with the tongue. So, super comfortable. Feels awesome in your hand. Feels awesome to shoot. It's got that flat trigger. You can't even tell that that damn tongue, the safety mechanism is there. Another thing that I love that they did is they put this gas pedal right here.

I call it a gas pedal. I'm not sure what everybody else calls it, but it's a thing. Just sticks out just a little bit. It's not too intrusive. Remember what I was talking about with this? Cuz it's snappy. And I put that skateboard tape right on the edge of that. They actually put a gas pedal here. What I call gas pedal. It's textured. Keeps your thumb in place. Keeps your grip perfect. It takes 320 mags. So, 17 rounds plus one.

It's kind of like a little bit bigger than the P365 Macro and a little bit smaller than your typical Glock 19. I mean, this feels great in the hand. It supports RMR, Delta Point Pro, the Sig Optics obviously, and you don't need a special adapter. You know how it is. new weapon comes out, everybody wants it, everybody wants to put the thing on it, but you can't find the damn adapter, and nobody can figure out how to manufacture them fast enough.

Well, now you don't need to worry about that cuz you can just mount it straight to the slide. Comes with the Tridian night sights, as you can see up here. Hope you can see that. Uh, and then the grip here, it's got a pretty aggressive texture on it. So, once again, you don't need to do the stipple jobs like you do on these other ones. You don't need skateboard tape. Super aggressive texture here. And then they have what they call the mag strap.

So basically you can adjust this for a 17 round magazine or if you want to shorten it up a little bit, you could do a 15 round magazine. So it's got the rail system up front for your light, laser, whatever you want. Dude, this thing, I'm telling you, is the [ __ ] And they have a couple of different models. We have two of them here. This is probably the one I'll carry. Same exact thing. Got serrations up front. The cool thing about this one, they got the compensator built in up front.

And they got the gas pedal. I love this thing. Like I said, I went out to Sig. I tested this thing and fell in love with it immediately. Like immediately. Feels good in the hands. shoots phenomenal. It's accurate. It doesn't jam. It doesn't gum up. Like this right here is the [ __ ] It is perfection. The P 385. Like I said, this is the first one that's outside of the factory. Nobody even knows this damn thing exists.

Thanks to my buddy Jason over at SIG. Maybe you've heard of them, huh? Yeah, Jason, we're just missing one more of these. You know what I'm talking about, but I'm not going to bring it up because I don't know, maybe you don't want it released. But these bad boys are going to be flying off the shelves, man. And everybody's going to be rocking a P385. Like I said, this new trigger, amazing. this gas pedal. Awesome. Awesome idea.

And the mag strap being adjustable. Look at it, man. Like, it has the grooves here so you don't get the blistery knuckle. They got the mag release is in the perfect spot. The texture feels awesome. This is great for concealed, great for duty, great for military. Amazing piece of machinery. So once again, this right here is my new everyday carry, the Sig Sauer P5. All right. And the last thing. Ready? What is it? Is it the dolphin?
