I'm Corey and today we are looking at five completely free open-source GitHub repos that you can turn into a cash flowing service even if you don't know how to code, even if you have minimal experience. And I'm going to show you a new free tool that helps you find the clients and helps you find the leads that you can pitch this service to, all using AI. So, this is going to be pretty much a four dummies guide on how to make money with these GitHub repos.
So, really, this is the playbook at the end of the day. We look at one of these free GitHub repos. We have Claude code run the backend or run the service underneath it. You sell the outcome to the business owner because we're not selling AI. We're selling a specific outcome. We're going to get into what that outcome is. And then we use a new tool called treg.to actually find the buyer and TRE can plug directly into Claude.
So we can literally ask Claude to find us the prospects that we're going to sell to. So, we're going to be going into every single repo, every offer, what it does, what you sell, who buys it, and an honest price, not some inflated idea, but a realistic price that you can charge, and where the leads actually come from. And if you are non-technical, and if you just have a laptop and clawed code, you are going to be able to make this happen.
So, the first one that we're looking at is called ScrapLink. So, this is the GitHub repo, and we're going to put all these repos uh links to these repos in the description below. So you can literally one click go straight to them. But this is scraping. It's completely free. It's open source. This is a um web scraping framework. And what scraping does, it's a free scraper that gets past bot walls and keeps working even when a site changes.
So that's been a huge problem with uh with other web scrapers is that as soon as a site gets updated, the scraping tool stops working. But scraping pretty much uh destroys that problem. What we're selling here is we're going to be selling to Shopify and DTOC brand owners that have anywhere from 50 to 500 different products in stock doing anywhere from 1 to$10 million a year in revenue and have at least 3 to five named competitors because what we're selling them is a weekly competitor price and stock intelligence report.
So, we're going to basically be scraping the websites of five of their rivals, putting their information into a Google sheet, and then alerting our client every time a price drops or every time they run out of stock. And the outcome that the buyer or our client is getting in this case is they're going to know within minutes whether a rival cuts a price or sells out. And it helps our client repric their inventory to avoid losing the sale.
So, this is something that you could easily sell a for a $500 setup fee and then $300 a month to maintain this for your client. And your cost is going to be about $40 a month for some simple proxies and a small server. So, if you have 10 clients, you can make about five grand in setup fees and about three grand a month in recurring revenue. So, here's how we're going to find the leads. We're going to use TEG. So, again, Trey uh.TO to came out with their new people search feature.
And this is I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just think this is probably the best tool on the market for easily finding um verified contact information across any company anywhere, right? So they kind of brand themselves as like the claude for people search. So you no longer need a Apollo subscription, Hunter subscription, a people data lab subscription. You don't need any of that. What Tre people search will do is it'll scrape over 60 providers with one MCP.
So you can connect TEG to Claude and have it go and pull verified contact information across all those tools. And I'm pretty sure it's like8 cents per record. So it's incredibly cheap and it's incredibly accurate because it filters through all those other providers that I mentioned without you needing the individual subscriptions to each of those tools. You basically pay per result. So, we're going to use Tre people search to find companies that are currently using Shopify that have anywhere from 5 to 50 employees in the US because that's going to give us a good idea of how much revenue they're making.
If they've got 5 to 50 employees, they're probably doing at least uh, you know, 7 to 8 figures a year in revenue. We're going to look for the titles of founder or owner or e-commerce manager at these companies. We're going to pull verified emails and then we're going to email them a screenshot of their rivals price drop using scraping. And if we send, you know, a couple hundred to a thousand or more emails, we are going to get multiple qualified leads and multiple qualified calls on the calendar.
So, if we can get, like I said, 10 clients, that's about three grand a month for about 10 hours a month of outkeep upkeep. This is a really good first one to start with and we'll get into the next one next. So, the next one is called Diffy. This is something where you can create a handbook bot. So what it does in this case and this is what the uh GitHub repo looks like. So it's called Diffy. It's again completely free open source.
It's got 156,000 stars on GitHub. So a lot of people are liking it. It's getting a lot of traction. It lets you build production ready Aentic AI solutions. Now what we're going to be selling in this case is a private chatbot trained on a company's SOPs handbook or price sheets. and you can refresh it monthly as your recurring service as their documents change. So what the buyer or your client is getting in this case is they're getting a chatbot that new that staff and any new hires can query to get answers in seconds instead of asking the owner or instead of asking their manager.
So that cuts the onboarding process from weeks to potentially days. Now the reason diffy works so well in this situation versus um you know doing this inside chat GBT is a lot of companies don't want their internal documents available to open AAI right so you can pay $59 a month for what's called Diffy cloud where you can essentially host this on your own server and you can sell this to service businesses that have anywhere from 20 to 100 employees with turnover right so that's going to be home services companies property management companies insurance companies staffing companies.
These are companies that tend to have a lot of headcount, but they turn over frequently. So, they're constantly onboarding new employees. They're constantly hiring new employees. And we're going to be able to charge a $1,500 setup fee plus $ 250 a month to maintain it and update the bot as their documents change and as their processes change. And you can even bill the client for Diffy Cloud at that $59 a month with one instance per client.
So your out-ofpocket cost here is virtually zero aside from what you're going to pay to find the leads using Tre. So again, if we were to use Tre people search, we can search for home services or property management companies, 20 to 100 employees, and we're actually going to use TRE to scrape job postings, right? we can scrape the companies that have three or more open roles because companies with three or more open roles are obviously onboarding employees as we speak and they have that painoint right now.
So we can look for titles of owner and COO and ops and we can use Tre to pull their verified email addresses and verified phone number and then we can simply ask the uh people that we're talking to is like how often are people asking what's already in your SOPs? Like how often are you Mr. owner getting a question from your new hire about something that you've already covered in some of your documentation and the answer 80% of the time is like, "Oh, I get these questions all the time." So, this is very much a real pain point.
If you can get 10 clients using this free open-source GitHub repo, that is 15K in setup fees and then 2500 a month in recurring revenue. Now, the next one here, this is probably the best one for anybody to start with. And I'm going to preface this one by saying um actually starting by talking about the price because with this particular GitHub repo called Open SEO, which if we look at Open SEO, again, this is relatively new.
It's already up to almost $19,000 stars in GitHub. What Open SEO does is it pretty much replaces Simrush. And Simrush is like a $250 a month premium paid SEO tool. So, Open SEO gives you all the power of Simrush for about $10 a month uh in hosting fees, right? So, it's very very cheap compared to the same performance that you'd be getting from a paid tool like Simrush. And the reason I like this one so much is because so many people right now are scrambling to figure out their AEO and their GEO strategy around getting mentioned in chat GBT and the AI um chat bots.
So, you can sell a $499 audit or otherwise referred to as an assessment as the wayin. And I love the assessment model. If you guys have watched me or listen to me for any amount of time, you know that assessments are my bread and butter. So, I think this is probably the most beginnerfriendly offer and beginner friendly repo to use in this entire episode because we can sell the audit as a foot in the door for $499. And then we can upsell uh essentially a SEO visibility and blueprint report each month.
So what we're actually selling is they get a monthly two-page scorecard with 30 keyword rankings, the exact amount of clicks they're getting on Google, their top three competitors, a Google business profile audit, and then three recommended fixes. So that is the monthly deliverable because Open SEO shows you your website rankings, how many backlinks you're getting. It can audit your site. It can um audit your Google business profile and it can show you where you're ranking inside of AI search engines.
So, it's going to do all of this for us for about $10 a month. And just quick side note, so on the audit, right? Some people might be hearing this and think like, "Oh, this is great. Like, I'd love to do this." But how exactly do I audit a company? Like, how do I position that front-end offer? Well, inside AI Operator Academy, which is our school community, we teach audits as a front-end offer. And we actually sell audits for $1,000.
We help our members sell audits for $1,000 because that is a foot in the door to all the offers that you're hearing in this episode and other offers. So, if you get really good at selling and positioning an audit, you can upsell just about anything because the with the audit, you're getting paid to figure out what to sell them next. So, if you're interested in learning how to sell the audit uh specifically and other upsell other offers from there, join us inside AI Operator Academy.
That's like one of the main things that we teach and one of the main things that our members are having success with. You can join at aaa.com community or hit the link in the description below. Now, in this case, the outcome that the buyer is paying for is they are basically paying to figure out if they are winning or losing in local search results and knowing exactly what to fix. Right? So, again, we're not charging them a fortune.
We're charging them $199 a month. that is less than they would be paying if they were subscribed to SimRush themselves and they're getting us to deliver that for them each month and tell them exactly what to fix. So, we're going to be selling this to local service businesses who are already paying for SEO or who are already paying for Google ads or meta ads who don't have strong reporting behind it. Right? A lot of these companies are using agencies to run their ads and run their marketing, but they're not getting strong reporting.
They don't really know what's happening behind the scenes. So these are companies like dentists or law firms or HVAC companies or med spas. So we're going to use Tre to find dentists, find law firms, find HVAC with 5 to 30 staff in metro areas. We can run each domain through open SEO before we even send the email. And in our cold email, we can literally give them the three worst findings. Like, hey, here are the three biggest uh uh cracks you have in your SEO strategy using specific numbers so that they know that this is a legitimate finding because you're able to give them that proof first.
Once they see the proof, then you've earned the permission to pitch. So, if you get 10 clients, that's $1,990 a month in recurring revenue for about 10 hours of work every single month. Next we've got Open Shorts. So Open Shorts again is another newer GitHub repo almost up to 5K stars. What this does, this is like the open- source version of Opus Clip, right? So it's an open source AI video platform that can generate clips.
It can generate AI shorts and it can assist you inside YouTube studio. So this is an example here that it's giving us like here's the original clip. Here's one that Open Shorts created. It basically made it um vertical video and then added the like trendy captions that you see on social media. So, this is a really cool repo. Again, it's essentially an open- source version of Open Clip. It's going to pick the best moment of a long video, cut the vertical clip, add captions, and it's going to cost you pennies per run, if that.
Now, a lot of people might be seeing this and think, well, like, okay, wouldn't a client just use Opus clip? Not necessarily because if they're not already clipping their long- form content, they're not going to they're obviously not wanting to learn how to do that. Like this is something that you can simply do for them as a service. So what you're selling is for each episode that they're doing, if this is somebody that's already recording long form content or they're already appearing on podcast, you can provide 8 to 10 caption clips per episode curated by you, right?
So you're obviously going to quality assure them and make sure that they actually are good clips. You're going to create the hooks. You're going to schedule them to Tik Tok, to reels, and to shorts. So, what the buyers get is 30 to 40 shorts a month based on the content they're already recording. So, they're not having to do any additional work. They're not having to spend any time editing. They're not having to spend any extra time recording.
You can sell this to the experts who are already recording long- form video, who don't currently have clips. These are people like realtors, advisers, lawyers, coaches, and podcast hosts. So again, we're going to use Tre to find people who are posting jobs for video editor or short form editor. So these are going to be people who are literally already looking for this service. And we can look at the podcast charts to find people who are hosts of podcasts that already have 20 plus episodes, but they have no shorts and they have no YouTube um or they have no reals and they have no YouTube shorts.
So we're going to be looking for the host or founder or CEO in terms of title. And then we can send them three free clips from their most recent episode as our proof so that we can earn the pitch. And we're going to be charging them about $400 a month for four episodes of basically to repurpose four episodes per month. It's going to take us roughly 3 hours to do that every single month per client. Opus Clip costs $29 a month, but we're not selling a software.
We're selling curation and the actual posting that goes along with it. So, I think this is also a really good entry-level offer that anybody can offer, especially if you're newer to this stuff. You don't need to know how to code. You just need to know what a good clip looks like. Now, [clears throat] the last one on our list is one called Presenton, right? So, this is one that can build proposal decks for sales teams while they're literally still on the call.
So, this was a number one uh trending repository of the day on GitHub at one point. It's got over 10K stars. What this is is it basically positions itself as a Gamma or Canva or Beautiful AI competitor that has an API not not so much competitor but alternative right open source alternative. So it's like an open- source version of Gamma. It's going to turn a form or a document into an editable PowerPoint locked to your brand template and it has an API so we can create a lot of automations around it.
So, what we're selling is a company's brand deck as a template plus a form so that a sales rep can either fill in a couple of fields and out pops a branded PowerPoint proposal or we could wire up an automation that takes the call recording that the sales rep is having with a prospect and basically push that to present on to automatically generate the proposal. Right? So, what the buyer is getting is a proposal on the same day instead of having to wait 2 or 3 days for marketing to turn it around.
Every single deck is going to be on brand. There's no designer in the loop, so you can turn around quotes a lot quicker. And that's going to help them close deals quicker as well. So, we're going to be selling this to sales teams who are sending 20 or more custom proposals a month. These are going to be contractors, agencies, staffing companies, events, and commercial real estate. We can charge $2,500 for setup and 200 a month to host the tool for them for the template fixes anytime they run into issues with their templates.
And Gamma, the competitor, is going to cost $400 a month for 10 seats. So, we're charging less than half of Gamma. And we can we can justify the higher setup fee because of the fact that this is directly going to drive revenue. The quicker we can turn quotes around, the quicker we're going to make money. So, again, we can go on Tre and we can look for job posts for people hiring for proposal writers or sales coordinators.
We can look for companies that have 20 to 200 staff in the industries that I just mentioned. Titles that we're targeting are VP of sales or sales ops. We're going to ask for their last proposal and literally rebuild it on the call in front of them. So, that's going to be very enticing and going to basically prove to them on the spot that what we're showing is valuable. So, if we can get four clients, that's 10K in setup fees and then $800 a month in recurring revenue.
Now, if we were looking at the scorecard scoring all of the offers that we've talked about thus far, like I said earlier, I would start with the open SEO repo because the monthly local SEO scorecard uh that we can sell to local service businesses for $1.99 a month is probably the easiest foot in the door offer. And we can literally have Open SEO run the audit that we sell for $500 first as our front-end offer. So, if I were you, I would pause here.
I would screenshot this so that you have a very quick uh back-to-back comparison of which to compare these two and essentially choose the repo that you feel most comfortable with going forward and starting this business because these are businesses that anybody can start, anybody can scale, even if you're new, even if you don't know how to code. Now, for next steps, I'm challenging you watching this or listening to this.
Pick one repo tonight. Use Tre People search to pull um a 100 leads and send 10 emails tomorrow. You could do all of those things in under 30 minutes. Then set up TE inside cloud code to do that where you can literally give it a text prompt and it'll spit out the list of contacts. And then again, when you're ready to turn this into a more serious AI services business and if you want to learn how to monetize AI services in other ways and you want a community of 300 plus people around you supporting you, learning directly from me, learning directly from other people in the community doing this at a high level, I invite you to join AI operator academy.
Again, that is going to be aa.m community or you can join at the link in the description.
