It kind of serves me right for going to bed last night at 8:00 p.m. that I've been wide awake since 3:00 a.m. and it's now currently 7:34 in the morning. But hello, good morning everyone. Today is going to be a long day because we have so much to do before my dog sitter gets here. I keep saying dog and woody sitter and someone commented on my video and was like, "Why won't you just say pets sitter?" I don't know. Saying pet feels so disconnected to me.
It feels so rude. It feels like I'm like discrediting Bonnie, Dolly, and Woody. I don't know. Like whenever I call them a pet, it's like calling them an animal. Like I'm like I know they are, but like it feels weird to me. I refer to them strictly on firstname basis or sometimes a nickname. Bonnie gets Bon Bon, Dolly gets doll, Woody gets Woods. I also give everyone a nickname. And I've realized that like my speaking ability has like really became like the equivalent of like a toddler recently.
And all my friends talk about it. It's so crazy. For some reason, I just speak in like this like pet name. Like for example, my friend's name is Steph. I call her Stephie. Neran's name is Nan. I call him Neri. I call Lexi Lexo, but that's I don't even know where that came from. Johnny is John. I don't know. Like I I really don't know why. Like I just I like really struggle to like call people by their real names. I like just like something clicks in my head and I'm like, "Okay, this is what I'm not going to call you for the rest of time." My friend Eddie is Eddie Wetty.
Like like I literally speaking like a toddler. You're also in the cat tree right now. That's what's going on right here. So my flight to New York is at 6:00 p.m. UK time and I arrive in New York, which is crazy. I flew in there once before, but that was whenever I was flying like domestic around America. I've never flew internationally into not JFK. So, I'm equally excited to not have to deal with JFK as I am nervous because I haven't done customs before at not JFK.
I arrive into New Jersey at 9:20 p.m. So, I'll probably end up getting to my hotel at like 10:30, so it's going to be pretty late. So, I don't even know. I'm probably going to be for the bed at that time, but I don't want to think that far in advance cuz we have so much to do. I have clothes hanging everywhere. I have them over chairs. I have them over here. I have them over there. I have them in my bathroom, hanging over Shers.
I have them on radiators. That is because I have done the biggest load of washing ever. And so I'm trying to dry everything before I need to pack. My dog sitter is scheduled to come over at 1:00 p.m. But I might push it back to 2:00 p.m. because I'm going to be Ubering straight from my apartment, which is in City Center, to Heathrow Airport. Hi, Woody. Hello, young man. Hello, young man. How are you? My plan for this trip is to come back with presents and treats for Woody, Bonnie, and Dolly, cuz I love doing that when I go on trips.
And there's some really good pet shops in New York. And it's so funny because the trip that I'm specifically thinking of was actually my birthday when I turned 20, I think. And for some reason, I had the biggest meltdown on my 20th birthday. I was in New York and I was just like, I'm no longer a teenager. like I'm I'm getting older and like I feel like I have that every single birthday, but I I celebrated my birthday in New York that year.
It was actually when Ned Fulmer was being exposed for cheating because that's how I remember it. Me and Cat went for lunch and the news broke and it was crazy. But I remember on my birthday, I went around every single pet shop within the area that I was staying and I brought back so much for Bonnie, Dolly, Milo, and Tyler. And I plan on doing the same thing this time. My first mode of action today is I want to go and get coffee because today is going to be a very caffeinefueled day.
I'm going to miss you, bud. I'm going to You look so handsome. Yeah. Are you giving kiss? Oh. Oh. What the hell? What are you doing? What are you doing? Why is he like pawing you guys? What are you doing? What's going on? What? What are you Why are you petting them? He's petting you guys. What's up? I'm going to miss you. I'm going to miss you. God, he's being so cute right now. I honestly don't know what he's doing.
He's never done this before. What's up? What's up? What's up? What's up? You look gorgeous. Are you watching the birds? You watching the birds? You watching the birds? Oh my god, he really is just patting you guys. Oh my god, Woody, are you in a playful mood? Are you in a playful mood? Are you in a playful mood, Woody? I'm going to go and get coffee, Woody. So, I'll I'll see you in a bit. I'll be back in like 5 minutes if that's okay.
Is that okay with you? If I'm back in like 5 minutes. Someone's in a playful mood. Bunny and Dolly are currently upstairs, so I am going to go and get them. And then I'm going to go and get some coffee. Woody, he loves these treats. He loves these treats. Oh, hello. That was so speedy. A couple treats cuz you're in such a good mood. There you go. He loves these. I got these in I think uh Ralph's in LA. They're just like random.
And he munches. Oh my god, they're gone already. But yeah, I'm flying United today internationally, which I've never done before. So, hi girls. Hi. Hi. It's a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful sunny day today. Woo. Kind of chilly. You going down the stairs, Bonnie? God, she runs down so fast. Yeah, I've never flown United internationally, so I don't know what to expect. I feel like all airlines are like pretty much the same these days.
Anyways, are we playing Peekaboo? You're in a very playful mood today, aren't you? You're in a very playful mood. Feel like I'm at a zoo right now because he's behind the glass. You watching my finger? You watching my finger? Hello, handsome. Ah, you got me. You got me. Come on. Ah, you want to bite me, you bastard. You bastard. Oh my god, he's being a little [ __ ] I'm going to go and get my coffee. Hi, Dolly. I also need to give Bonnie and Dolly a bath before I go.
There's so much to do. So, I decided to come on a little bit of just a dander, a little bit of a walk while I got my coffee. I've got a cold brew today. Normally, I go for an iced americano, but on days like today, it calls for a cold brew. It is a really, really, really beautiful day. It's starting to get to my favorite kind of weather. First of all, question. What is your favorite kind of weather? For me, my favorite kind of weather is when it's beautiful blue skies and it's sunny, but it's not like really hot.
Like right now, it is like it's honestly like kind of chilly. So, like this is my fit. First of all, this is one of the most horrific fits I think I've ever worn in my entire life. We've got yellow Crocs on, red basketball shorts, whatever this [ __ ] gray hoodie is, and then a bright [ __ ] green Brazil hat. Listen, I'm going to be honest. I wear some [ __ ] ass fits. Like this is kind of just like how I normally dress.
It's really unfortunate to admit, but this is kind of like if you're going to see me in public on a day-to-day basis, like this is how I'm leaving. And you know what the best thing is? Whenever I lived in Dair, this made sense. Like this is how everyone dresses. Like where I grew up, like this is how you dress. Like you go into shops like this. Like honestly, like people in dairy go into like corner shops, go into like sainsburries, Tesco's, like supermarkets wearing their pajamas.
Like the standard of like dressing is so beyond casual. I kind of just haven't changed that regardless of where I've lived. And I mean it is kind of embarrassing. I mean like everyone who's out right now they're either in like athletic wear because they are you know running or working out or people are like well-dressed even at this time which is like crazy. I guess people are going to work and stuff like that and then this is my like [ __ ] ass fit.
I remember saying to myself like oh when I move to London like I'm going to become so chic and I'm going to get so welldressed and like this. No, not around here partner. Mm- not around here partner. So yeah, I'm just going to go for a little walk. And I mean like a really really really quick one because I don't want to be messing around today. I have a lot to do. I'm probably going to be out until I finish my coffee and then I'm gonna head back and I'm gonna have to do the dreaded task of washing Bonnie and Dolly.
They really don't enjoy it. They do not enjoy getting their baths. But we're going to have to do it. I also need to go to a shop and I need to get like baby shampoo for them cuz that's delicate on their beautiful skin. But yeah, they're going to be all freshly bathed ready for the dog sitter. I'm using a new dog sitter today. My previous people weren't available for this trip. And this woman is like very highly rated.
I'm actually very excited. She was very, very, very expensive. But when it comes to like pets sitting, see, even saying pets sitting, I'm like Bonnie, Dolly, and Woody sitting. The price of not worrying about them is priceless to me. Oh, actually, fun fact, right at this tree that you're seeing that I'm pointing at. Oh, my alarm is going to wake up, baby. I've been awake since 3. No joke. My alarm is literally going off.
Baby, we're awake. We are awake. So, that tree that you're seeing right behind me was actually where an attempted robbery of my phone happened. I don't know if you remember, but I think I filmed that day when I had just came back from one of my trips and I was walking Dolly and I was walking down there and it was actually by that tree that a guy came in an electric bike behind me. He swooped into the pavement. He grabbed my phone, but I yanked my phone back and he didn't get it.
[ __ ] not my first [ __ ] rodeo, not the first time someone has tried to [ __ ] steal my phone. I would have been so devastated because it was my first day back in London after being gone for a couple weeks. And literally the funniest thing about it was on my Instagram story that I was about to post on my phone was me talking about it feels so good to be back in London. If my phone had been robbed, that wouldn't have been able to be posted and I would have been so annoyed.
These phone snatchers. But yeah, they are very prominent right here because this is very touristy area. Where I live is very touristy. I mean this without doxing myself, this literally is my neighborhood. This is like my daily walk, but this is also where like a lot of tourists come because Big Ben is right there. The London Eye is right there. Like this is really the central Why am I falling? Like why am I What is going on?
And they really really really try to catch out tourists. I can't believe you're able to just like walk into the water here. I didn't realize the water was so accessible. But yeah, look, we have the London Eye right there. It is a beautiful, beautiful day today. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't realize you could just like walk down to the water right here. That water looks so [ __ ] disgustingly gross. Okay, everyone, time check.
It is 9:23 in the morning and I have a fan currently pointed directly at me. Sorry for the noise. It is so hot in here and I'm sweating. So, update. So far, what I've done is I've washed both Bonnie and Dolly. Dolly hated it. Bonnie absolutely loved it. She literally lay down flat in the bath and like crossed her legs and was living for it. So I ended up giving her like a five minute massage during it and she loved it.
Dolly could not wait to get out of there. But my delivery from Korea Korea has arrived. I literally ordered this like 4 days ago. I'm super excited. This is a bunch of stuff from a lot of the artists that I like out in Korea. And I was planning on opening this on my K-pop channel, but honestly, I just want to open it now. So, I paid for express delivery because I wanted it to arrive before I left for New York. So, let's do a little unboxing.
I'm excited. Also, I have now moved basically all of my wet clothes from getting washed to the terrace upstairs. And I'm just hoping they don't fall below me because there's like restaurants and cafes below me and they will fall on people. OH MY GOD, I'm so excited. So, basically, if you don't know what this is, people were telling me to get a K AI, which is a Korean address. Basically, there are these companies in Korea that will basically be personal shoppers for you to allow you to buy things in Korea with no added charges that you would get over here.
They order everything to their warehouse and then they send it to your address and you just pay the taxes. But I have my order right here. Ah, I'm so excited. Okay, let's go through everything. First things first, I have this, which is merch from Yanjin, who is a solo artist I really like. It's kind of [ __ ] up right now, but it is in the shape of ice cream cone. It's very hollow. This is from his album, No Labels, Part Two.
Let's open it. Oh, this is so cute. This is so cute. It's a little figurine of him. Oh my god, this is so adorable. Look at this. Oh my god, I can't wait to add this to my bag. Look at this. It's a little keychain of Yanjin. This is so cool. I'm going to add this immediately to my bag. Okay, I love this. This packaging is so cool. Oh, this is so And they've given different accessories you can put on the keychain. That's pretty cool.
And then there's photo cards of him. Oh my god, I love Yanjin so much. Look at that. In the fit in the fit of the keychain. That is so cool. I love it. Oh my god. I might have to add these to the back of my phone. I love having a photo card there. Oh, I love Yanjin. Oh, I'm super happy with that. Okay, great. We've got our Yanjin. I also ordered two versions of Stray Kids new album, This and That. And it's a random member that you get.
I got Han and I got Sunman. I love all members of Stray Kids, so it really didn't matter which member I got. I love Han and I love Sunman. I think it's actually his birthday today as well. All right, let's open the Han version. I honestly can't believe that I'm going to be in New York tonight. Oh, he's so cute. He's so cute. He's so cutie. the little CDs right here. Oh my god, I got a feelings photo card. Oh my god, I Oh my god.
And Lo, I hate to say it, but these are two my favorite members. I don't have favorites, but my god. Oh my god. I got Lo and Felix. Yay. Okay. All right. This is going so well. Oh, I love Han. Okay, that was a success. I thought you would only get a photo card of the member that the version it was. So, I was not expecting that. I can't believe all this stuff was in Korea like 4 days ago. Korea. Michaela Aguero is my personal shopper.
God, I make myself giggle, don't I? I really do. I really do. Kitty pati. Me speaking about a grown man. Kitty. I got Sunman and Han. The two versions I got. Hey, love, love, love, love, love. By the way, his vocals live so [ __ ] good. That was a standout from their show. Okay, these I'm so excited for. This is Evan who is really, really, really one of my favorites. His name is Heong. He was a part of In Hypen and he went solo and his solo career is [ __ ] incredible.
I got the two versions of his debut album, Death of Me. I love this. I did a reaction to it on my album. I really just [ __ ] adore him so much. And I got versions of the album that you can only get in Korea. So, I'm super excited about this. So, let's open these. I don't know which one is which, but let's do it. Okay. Ah, wo, look at this packaging. We got the CD right here. I really got to get a CD player cuz I've not collected so many CDs.
We got photo cards right here. We have photo book right here. Oh, look at him. Oh, he is so perfect. He is so [ __ ] talented, by the way. Like, if you ever hear live performance from him of him just singing, he he really is the full package. He is an incredible singer, incredible dancer. Like, I really think he is like the it boy. I really do. Oh my gosh. Is this a poster? A He's so cute. We got some stickers and stuff.
All right, let's look at our photo cards that we got. Hey, there he is. There he is. Okay, love. I love you, Evan. Okay, let's open this other version right here. Ooh, look at that CD. Ooh. Wow. Oh [ __ ] Wait, these are like photo cards. Like big ones. This must be the Weverse album. This is like a special edition. Yeah, look at these. Oh my god, this is Oh, these are dope. Oh, I love I don't know why my voice did that.
All right, let's look at this photo book. It feels so nice. This photo [ __ ] is everything. Oh, love him. Let's look at our poster first. I can't believe I'm finally able to buy stuff now from Korea. Korea. Okay. And our photo cards. A look at him. A, it's not lost on me again. I'm speaking about a grown man. Love. Okay, let's move on. What else do we have in here? Oh, I got another version of Evan's album. I don't even know what this is.
Oh, this is the Weverse albums version. So, you can only get this in Korea. Let's open this. It's so teeny tiny. Teeny tiny indeed. Okay, this is literally just photo cards, I think. Woah, what's going on here? Oh, look at that photo card. Oh my god, these are all exclusive photo cards. Ooh, this is all his handwriting. That's so dope. Okay, love. Well, that's a nice little surprise. I didn't know I ordered this one.
What else do we have in here? We have a lot of magazine. Oh my god, we have so many magazines. So, these are all Korean or Japanese magazines. So, I would not be able to get these normally. I kind of like keeping them in the packaging for now. We have three members from Rise. We have Anton, we have Soi, and we have Womb right here. Love these are heavy magazines. No wonder my packaging and postage was so expensive. We have Jenny.
Look at Jenny. Look at her. Oh, gorgeous. We have Hanzhin from Stray Kid. Love you, Hyanhin. We have Womb right here. Womb. We have the other version. They had three different versions. And of course, I got all three. Look at him. Wow. He has been my bias in rice since day one. Truly, truly, truly. Look at him. And all the guys in Rise are like my age or like a year older than me as well. So like I just feel so connected to them.
Come on, Parocial. We have Subin. I love Subin. And we have all of the members of Rise. Love this. It's so great because normally when I go out to Japan, I spend so much money and, you know, have to get like another case cuz I bring all this stuff back. But now I'm like not needing to like hoard stuff because I can just order it online. I ordered these two magazines that have Sunchan from Rise who waved to me at the concert.
And they come with little packages. So, let's open these and see what we got. I didn't realize that they gave these with like magazines. Let's open this. Look at him again. So talented little ominous package. Let's see. We got Oh, it's photo cards. We have a little Polaroid of him. Oh, we have two photo cards. I really, really, really do love him. It's so hard for me to pick a bias. Who's your bias? I'm your bias. It's really hard for me to pick a bias in Rise cuz I really do love them all.
Sean and Anton, but also one. Oh, it's so hard to pick. It's so hard to pick because he waved to me at the concert. I have such an affinity to him now. That was a nice little surprise. And let's do it for this one as well. I love this photo of him. He looks so gorgeous. Shout out to Michaela Aguero, my personal shopper in Korea. Oh, look at him. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. All right, let's see what we got in here. Let's see what photo card.
Oh my god, look how dope this is. They've like printed out a little Polaroid with his signature on it. That's so dope. Oh, I love that. I might have to put that in my phone case. Oh my god, his signature is a mess. A And then look at the photo cards we got. So, we have basically two Polaroids and I think six photo cards. 1 2 3 four. No, four. Why? Where'd that come from? Oh, this was so exciting. I loved that. Okay, now back to what I'm doing here.
All right, time check. It is now 12:30 and Hi, honey bunny. Hi, sweetie pie. Do you want to open some packages with me? We're opening more packages. I have went and got new toiles for my dog sitter. I went out and got new bedding and I got new shoes because my trainers broke. Like the heel of them was broken. Now, I have a delivery here, which I think is a Bonnie Tyler album. But I did go to my Woody, please. I did go to my PO box, and there's some stuff in my PO box that I want to open.
So, thank you so much to anyone who sent anything to the PO box, and I thought, what better time to open it than now? And I guess Woody is going to be attempting to help us right before I leave. So, if you sent me things, you know that I got it. Yes, this is my Bonnie Tyler album. This is my favorite Bonnie Tyler album. And this vinyl is super hard to get. I had to get it from this guy from Germany. Ah. Oh my god. Oh, I thought it was sealed.
There was no way it was going to be sealed. Look at it. I love this photo so much of her. Goodbye to the island. I love this. Okay, let's open some PO box stuff. This is exciting. Yeah, I'm so glad I moved the dog sitter to 2 p.m. because my god, I have so much to do. Okay, this is from the UK because I can see that there's a UK stamp on it. So, let's open this. There's something so crazy about the fact that people send to my PO box because I'm someone who sent to PO boxes all the time.

You guys are so talented and so thoughtful. Thank you, everyone. Oh my god, that is so sweet. Wow, that was great.
Okay, I'm going to eat something really quickly and then I'm going to get back to this. I literally have like an hour and a half left and I have so much to do. I still haven't packed and before I pack, I literally need to iron all of my clothes. I wonder if I could do that in New York. I don't know. I'm running out of time. Okay, everyone. I've made it to the airport and we'll do a catch up soon. It's been very, very, very hectic.
But I'm currently just going through. By the way, mom, I have your birthday card that you and dad gave me. Not opening it until my birthday. Oh my god, this would be so fun for playing spotty. The reason that I'm going through my bag right now is because even though I don't have anything bad, like my mind is like, oh, like what if there's like like I can't even say like what I'm like, oh, what if that's in my bag? Like I I like I'm at the like I literally I need to stop talking.
I don't know. Like I get so scared whenever I go through airport security. I'm like I'm like I've never had this or I've never had that in my life. But yeah, this will be the first [ __ ] time. I'm always so scared that like someone's sabotaging me or someone will like throw something in my bag. So I always do like final check cuz every single time my bag gets pulled in and then I'm like, "Oh my god, what's in there?" Even though I know there's nothing bad, but I always have to do checks.
I literally get so scared. Whole bunch of nothing in here. Okay, literally, as expected, there is nothing bad. I don't know why I just unnecessarily stress myself out. Literally, whenever I'm going through like TSA and like security, I'm like, "Oh my god, what's in my bag?" >> Okay, let's go check in. We have made it to New York. Oh my god, we have made it to New York. I am so frazzled. I am so all over the place. It is now 300 a.m. back in the UK, which means that I have officially been up for 24 hours.
I had the most horrific, horrific, horrific experience at New York airport. Like horrific. like probably my worst travel experience yet, which is crazy because I actually had a really good flight. I was very tired on the flight. But I get into the flight, I get to my seat and there's a woman sitting beside me and she kind of like asked me a question before we take off and then we just start talking and then she was like she was like, "I'm going to take an edible and I'm going to pass out in this flight." And I was like, "I'm going to get a bloody mary because I need to stay up." And then we both ordered Bloody Marys and we just like kept ordering Bloody Marys and like talking and we were watching the same movies and we were just we were getting to know each other which is so crazy because we literally didn't ask each other's names which is so stupid.
Like I literally will never see this woman again. I couldn't even say her name and she couldn't even say mine. Like we just spoke and had a great flight together. So shout out to whoever you were. You were an angel and I loved you know spending that flight with you. So I arrive in New York airport. Normally I fly into JFK airport, but I was flying United, which was only going to New York. So I was like, that's fine. I flew into that airport before when I would do like domestic flights.
And it's fine. It's actually easier and faster to get into Manhattan, which is great. So I get to that airport and I also was like, "Oh, this will probably be so much better than going to JFK because JFK like immigration lines are so long. They have such little staff. It's always a mess." So I was like, "Oh, I'll avoid it going to New York. you'll get all the like Americans who are traveling like not many like tourists.
I was wrong. So I get to New York airport. We arrive and we're going through immigration when they're asking the questions and the woman who was there was actually pretty chill. She was like, "Why are you here?" I said, "My friend's bachelorette." She was like, "Okay." She took a photo and then I went on. I got my bag. The line for the immigration was so long specifically for being like really late at night. They just didn't have that many workers.
There's not many workers at airports in America every single time I I come here um that I've just like kind of witnessed um oh my god my brain is so frazzled. The thing is I'm so tired and frazzled that like I know that I can't go to bed because I'm like that tired right now. You know when you're so tired that you can't go to bed. But anyways, let me finish my story. So, I get my bags and I'm walking through New York airport and I'm trying to find the exit and the signage is really confusing.
And I remember being like, "Oh my god, I'm going to look lost and it's going to like flag something with security and they're going to pull me in." I remember thinking that in my head, right? I was like, "Lol." And so, anyways, I find the exit, not before I looked very confused. And I start walking and I hear, "Hey." And I'm like, "Oh my god, he's talking to me." And I go, "Hi." And he goes, "Do you come here?" And I was like, "Oh my god, no." I was like, "No." Like, "I've never been pulled in at the airport before." And I was like, "Hi." And it's this guy, right?
And he goes, "How many drugs have you taken?" I literally couldn't believe it. Hand to God, that's what he said to me. He goes, "How many drugs have you taken?" And I I literally go, "What?" He goes, "How many drugs have you taken?" And I go, "Is it because I look tired?" I was like, "I haven't slept in like 24 hours." And he goes, "No, no. I wasn't I I wasn't accusing you of anything. Hello. He goes, "How many drugs have you brought into the United States today?" And I go, "None." And he goes, and I literally was like, "Oh my god, I'm going to get arrested." I was like, "He's he's targeting me.
He's singling me out for no reason." And I was trying my best to keep my cool cuz I was like, "Ugh, don't act like you're nervous. Don't act like this." Literally what I talk about like every time I go to an airport, I'm like, "Oh my god, I have like [ __ ] 10 kg of cocaine up my ass." Is literally like how I feel going through airports. Like I'm like that's literally like I I I'm like, "Oh my god, someone has like planted something on me." He goes, "Why are you in the States?" And I go, "I'm going to my friend's Bachelorette." And he goes, "Where is it?" And I hated that question cuz I had to be like, "It was in Orlando." And he I was like, "It's in Orlando." And he was like, "Why are you in New York?" And I was like, "I'm in New York until Friday, then I fly to Orlando, and then I come back on Monday, and then I leave on Wednesday." And luckily I had screenshotted, you know, all of the flights, my hotels.
And so I showed him it. So I was able to show him. And so he goes, "All right, what do you do for work?" And I go, "YouTube." And he goes, "What do you do on YouTube?" He had this like [ __ ] attitude. And mind you, he was like a little squirt himself. He was like tinier than me. I was like, "You you stop speaking to me like that." I did not say that. I was terrified. I go, "YouTube." And he goes, "What kind of YouTube?" And I go, "Commentary." And he goes, "Comment on what?" And I was starting to be like, "What else do you want to know?" I was like, "On pop culture." And he goes, "Seriously though, how many drugs have you taken?" And I was like I I was like I have not taken any drugs.
I was like I flew from London. That was my way of saying that's illegal in London. He goes, "You don't smoke weed?" And I go, "I don't have weed on me and I haven't smoked weed." And he goes, "And you're from London." And I go, "I live in London." He goes, "You know what they get up to in London?" And I literally go, "Do I?" He goes, "You know what they get up to in London. Don't lie to me." He starts like aggressively accusing me.
And I didn't know what to respond at all. I was like, "I he talking about?" He was like, "You know what gets on in London." Truly, like, I don't even know what he means by that. I really don't know what he means by that. Is there like drug rings in London? I'm sure there is in every city. I was like, and also you saying that as like an American. I was like, "Please, please." And he goes, "I'm going to need to search your bags." And I was like, "Okay." And he goes, "And we'll see if you have any drugs on you." Insinuating that I was lying to him.
And at this stage, I was like, "Open the [ __ ] bags, [ __ ] and see if there's nothing [ __ ] in there." He opens my bags. He's going through them. Obviously, he finds nothing. There's like one piece of chewing gum that is just kind of like out in my bag, like a little piece like this. And he go he goes, "Oh, is this pills?" And I go, "It's a It's chewing gum." And he goes, "I'm going to need to test it." Very clearly looks like a chum, by the way.
One singular piece of ching gum. And he goes, "Is there pills in your bag?" And I go, "It's ching gum. It's ching gum." He literally takes it, squishes it, throws it back in my bag. It's still in my bag right now. He literally like Ching Gum is probably stuck to like one of my clothes right now. Thank you, [ __ ] So then he goes, "Your friend whose bachelorette it is, what do they do for work?" And obviously this is Cat.
And I go, "Oh, she's a journalist." And he goes, "Journalist. Who does she work for?" And then in my mind, I was like, "Oh my god, am I going to say who she works for and they're going to be like, "That's good or that's bad?" And I was like, "She's independent." Cuz cat is independent. And he goes and I go, "She used to work for NBC." And he goes, "What's her name?" And I say, "Cat's name." And he goes, "What are you doing for the Bachelorette?" And I go, "We're going to Disney World." And he goes, "Really?
You're going to Disney World?" And I go, "Yeah, like her bachelorette is at Disney World." He doesn't believe me. Luckily, Cat is a planner and has an itinerary. And I showed it to him and he showed his colleague and they just chuckled. They just chuckled. Like, they literally just laughed. Then he goes, "I guess you can leave." And I was like, "Oh my god, that was so unnecessary." Like, "That was so aggressive. That was so whatever." So I I was like, "Oh my god, I hate this airport.
I hate this worker. I hate whatever." So then I get to the hotel, which only took like 20 minutes Uber. And I've never stayed in this hotel before. And when I get to the check-in, the guy goes, "You booked this through your MX?" And I go, "Yeah, I paid for this through my AMX." And he goes, "So we've upgraded you to one of our good suites." And I'm like, "What?" because I just booked like a single bed room in this hotel, like nothing fancy, and they upgraded me free of charge just because I booked on Ammex, like a single bed room to one of their top suites.
And honestly, it it is I would be I would be giving so much more energy if I wasn't like cripplingly exhausted right now. But I cannot believe this hotel room. I cannot believe this hotel room. Let me give you a hotel room. I honestly I really really really cannot believe it. So look at this. Even this room, there's a living room in this hotel room. Look at this. There is This is chic. There is a [ __ ] living room. There's a fireplace.
Look at all this. This decor as well. What is this? Is this wardrobe? Oh my god. What the [ __ ] Oh my god. Stocked mini bar. God, this is insane. What? Oh my god. Like kitchen sink and stuff. Hob. This is like an apartment. I cannot believe this. And I did not pay for this. So I'm unbelievably shocked. Like look at this. There's only one of me here. Fireplace. This is insane. And you come in here to the bedroom. What the [ __ ] I love the style of this hotel as well.
Look at this. Wait, there's something on the pillow. There's something on the pillow. What is this? Oh my god. Lavender pillow spray. That is chic as hell. Look at this bed, dude. And look at this over here. I honestly I'm so shocked. Like, I feel like I'm going to wake up tomorrow and like not believe that I'm here. I don't think I was supposed to have this room because right here they have like, "Dear Mr. McIntyre, welcome to the hotel." But they also have, "Dear Mr.
Schwarz, welcome to the hotel." So, I think the other person maybe didn't show up, so they've given me the rim. Oh my god, there's a speaker as well. But shout out to Mr. Schwarz for not showing up cuz I got your rim, [ __ ] Oh my god, look at the like this is chic. Look at the body tea. Look at the body tea. This is I've never stayed in a hotel room. This is un This is so unnecessary, but Oh my god. What the [ __ ] Look at this.
I don't want to go to Orlando. Look at this. If I knew they were upgrading me, I would have Oh my god, there's a TV. Oh my god, there's a remote to watch TV in the bathtub. My mom would love this. She loves the bathtub. Oh my god, this is unbelievable. This is insane. Oh my god. Let me see what our view is. I don't know how to open these blinds, so I'm literally just doing this. Hello, New York. Hello, New York. I haven't been in New York.
You can tell I'm tired because I've never been so softly spoken in my life. I have not been in New York in over a year, which is the longest I ever have not been in New York. It's good to be back. Well, actually, it doesn't feel like I'm back yet cuz I was like closing my eyes in the Uber, so I didn't really see driving into the city. And it's also like pitch black outside. But what I'm going to do right now is I'm going to leave the hotel.
It is 11:30 p.m. It's so shocking how long I've been awake. It's so shocking how long I've been awake. I'm really hungry, but all I've done today is eat in order to like keep myself awake that I now feel like kind of like sickly. So, I don't want to like eat anymore. But, I definitely need to go out and get some water. I said to the guy, I was like, "Where's the nearest bodega?" And he was like, "Every bodega right here is closed." And I was like, "Oh my god, bodeas are supposed to be 24 hours." So, I'm going to go on a little adventure and I'm going to like drag my heels.
I'm literally going to be like walking like this. But, let's go. Okay, so I'm just walking around and I am not wearing my jacket and it is cold as [ __ ] But this is great. It has gotten rid of my headache and I'm just walking the streets and this is pretty close to the neighborhood that I used to actually live in. So, it's super dope to be back. And I've already seen a bodega kitty. The bodega was closed and the kitty was just like staring out trying to get out.
I felt so bad for it, but it looked super chill. I went to go say hi to it and it ran away into the like store room. Maybe that's the employee. But I'm running really quickly to a dispensary, which is really funny with the story that I just said about the [ __ ] airport security. Is jaywalking illegal here? I think it is. Okay. Well, I'm not supposed to be doing this, but I'm in a rush because they close at midnight and it is very close to midnight right now.
Ooh, this air feels good. One thing I love about New York over London is the spontaneity of the city. Is that the right use of that word? Like in London, you have to plan things, but I've just landed and I've now had three different people message me with three different plans being like, "Please come join us. Please come say hi." One of my friends, Tanya, who I love, we used to always go to karaoke on Tuesdays and it's Tuesday and she messaged me and was like, "Please come.
Like, I want to see you." And I was like, "Girl, I am tired. I'm literally going to be there within the last like 5 minutes, but it's so good to be back in the city and walking around and taking it in. I [ __ ] love New York. It's such a good city, dude. In classic New York style, there is rubbish everywhere. But also, it's because it is late at night and they are still yet to do the pickup. It's the same with London.
We have to leave our rubbish and bags at curbside as well. I'm walking in Soho and I love this area so much. I just love like the cobblestone in the ground. Also, I went to dispensary and the workers were so nice in there. They're always so knowledgeable. They just ask you so many questions and then they're like, "You should have this, you should get this or you should get this." And then I'll be like, "Can I get this?" And they'll be like, "No, no, no, no, no.
You won't like this. You'll get this instead." And they're not even saying things that are more expensive. Like they're actually like giving good recommendations. So right now I'm walking to Modern House Soho, which is the hotel that I normally always stayed at when I was here because there's a bodega right beside it that I'm pretty sure the times that I would stay there would be open 24/7. And the guys are so friendly in there and they have the best snacks and they make the best wraps ever.
They make like a spicy chicken wrap which is so good. Their Caesar wrap was so good. Oh my god. So I'm currently walking there right now. I cannot describe the memories I have with this place right here. This bodega. It's right beside the modern high Soho Hotel which is right there that I stayed in so many times I've been here. I have I've gone in there so much. It was the same guys. It was the same guy working at the till and it was the same guy who made my wrap.
I got my spicy chicken one. Um, obviously they didn't remember me, but there was a time when I would go into that bodega and they would go, "Hey." And they'd be excited to see me. So, I tipped really well and we'll go back again and let's make it the mission of the trip. I've decided the mission of the trip is by leaving New York on my b I need to go in there on my birthday. Okay, that's what we're going to do. Let's set a challenge.
I'm going to go in there on my birthday and they're going to give a hey when they see me because they're going to love me again cuz there once was a time. I feel like I want to break into like a sing song. Actually have no idea where my hotel is. Let me figure that out. I just realized I've just been walking. I also cannot believe just how long it has now been since I've slept. Oh my god, I'm 20 minutes away. All right, I'm back now.
Thankfully, bedtime is not that near in the future because I have a headache now and I need to like just go to bed. I'm like struggling to like say sentences and words like I need to go to bed. Here's your sign right now to go and get a snack if you've been thinking about having one because I'm going to give you a haul of what I got. This is what my order would be every single time I would go into this bodega. I would always get the blue Gatorade cuz it is so lovely to me.
I love everything about it. I always get a large water. Brand doesn't matter all the same. I get my spicy chicken wrap, which I hope it's the same one as last time. And then one thing I love about America is they do like pickle flavored things. So good. And then buffalo ranch we don't get back home. Let me try one of the dill pickle. Oh my god, it's just like eating a pickle. It's so good. The Americans do that. Well, oh my god, water.
I feel like when Spongebob was all dried out. I can feel my eyelids like actually closing. And let's try the Buffalo Ranch one. Americans put so much air in their crisps. All right, let's try it. M. It's just a flavor that you don't really get back home. It's so good. M. Okay, moment of truth about this wrap. I will say one thing. They've made them smaller. The wraps used to be bigger. Come on, guys. What are we doing?
Oh my god. They used to They honestly I can't describe how they would be like triple this size. Come on, guys. It's not good. Not good. Your prices have gone up and the sizes have gone down. All right. This is what it looks like. Let's try it. M m. It is not the same, but it's very good. Oh, and it's so spicy. I love it. All right. Well, it's been the longest day of my life. I'm going to love and leave you.
