You Have To Kill Your Marriage To Save It transcript

it's time for your marriage to die and in this video we're going to talk about a powerful mindset shift that can completely change your experience of saving your marriage right and Warren Buffett what said it's easier to give birth than to resurrect the dead is so true trying to bring something back from the dead is a grind It's a Grind it's a challenge is ridiculously hard and it just takes so much energy whereas giving life to something new is light it's fun it's enjoyable right it's just more expansive versus that constricting feeling that drudgery feeling of trying to bring something back and we're going to apply that to your marriage and when you do this it's going to shift you from feeling like you're a rescu a resc Reser a fighter or whatever feeling you have towards saving your marriage into a Creator someone who's creating something new something inspiring something you're excited about so I'm going to show you how to shift from that to this and when you do this it's going to shift how you show up it's going to shift how she responds to you how you communicate all this naturally from this one mindset shift so you're ready what we're going to do is a quick close eyy visualization make sure you're not driving you're somewhere quiet somewhere where you can be with yourself for about three to five minutes okay so I want you to go ahead and close your eyes just take three deep clearing breaths good and while keeping your eyes closed I want you to bring into your mind's eye a rep A visual representation of your marriage that may be an image an object of a scene a person whatever represents your marriage your current marriage good now want you notice a casket in front of you an open casket and I want you to go ahead and place this representation of your marriage into that casket and along with that also put in all the Memories the painful Memories the ways of being the reactions the responses the fights the arguments the pain the suffering all of it put all of that into the casket filling it up completely if you need a bigger casket allow it to expand to whatever size it needs to hold everything you need to put into it I'll give you a moment just keep dumping keep putting it in there filling it up fully and completely good making sure you're completely empty if you need more time you can always pause this video good now close the casket and notice that there's a hole and this hole isn't your typical barrier hole this hole goes all the way down into the core of the Earth where there's nothing but molten lava and you're going to place this casket down into that hole where it goes all the way down into the Earth's core where it burns and purify is and transforms just let it all burn away letting this marriage die and now what should notice from this hole comes something new a new life a new representation of the marriage that you want to create a marriage full of love joy excitement passion Adventure whatever it is notice that arising from this hole in light just make a note in your mind just really see what that is and allow yourself to step into that and fully experience what this new marriage feels like and allow whever that is to come into your body and lock into place whether it's into your heart your head wherever it naturally wants to go allowed to come into your body and lock into place there becoming part of you and whenever you're ready go ahead and open your eyes good so now that that's done we killed the old we brought forth something new and while you're in this space go ahead and write out about this new marriage that you're creating right it's not about bringing the old one back you're in a place of a new marriage so grab a sheet of paper just write about this new marriage and what what's in it what do you do what do you not do what behaviors are present how you show up how you communicate all these things just go write about this new marriage and for now on your job is to just go create this new this new marriage you are now a Creator you're not somebody in the operating room trying to resuscitate something thing you're creating something brand new and just focus on that just keep focusing on creating that new marriage all right so thank you guys for listening I'll catch you on next video
