Shalom, nashimiot. Hello, sweet women. Oh, I pray you're all doing well and I hope that you had a great peaceful sleep or sleep.

You can tell I'm tired, weak. So anyway, grab something to drink, get cozy in your chair, and let's see what the Lord wants to teach us this day. Don't you love how he teaches us from his word? It's such a blessing. Anyway, um remember last week we talked about how Micah talked to the leaders about their sin and how that because key because of their sin, God was going to have to punish them. And remember um the country of Israel was divided in two during this time and the northern part was called Israel and that was the where the most tribes were and it was Samaria was their capital and then the southern part was Judah where Jerusalem Jerusalem was the capital and Israel refused to listen to the prophets that God had sent.

So the Lord had to punish them by allowing the Assyrians to come and conquer the land. And remember on the other hand the people in Judah, they did listen. And King Hezekiah who was the king of Judah at that time, the people repented and God had mercy on them and didn't punish them. And don't you love the fact that even today when we repent and we ask the Lord to forgive us and to help us change, he has mercy on us. And he does.

He promises. Praise God for that. Right? Okay. Turn to Micah 4:1. [snorts] And in these verses where chapter 3 that we just finished, um, it was Micah prophesying and talking to the leaders of the land. These verses, Micah's prophesying about future events for you and me. And it starts out, it says, "In the last day, the mountain of the Lord's house will be the highest of all, the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world, Cole, all over the world will stream there to worship.

People from many nations will come. And they'll say, "Come, Bo, come. Let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob's God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For the Lord's teaching will go out from Zion, which is Jerusalem. his word will go out from Jerusalem. I mean, doesn't that blow you away? And when I first read this, I was thinking, how amazing to sit and learn from the Lord Yeshua himself.

And you know, it will be amazing, Madim, because we will see him face to face at that time. But I also started thinking that for us who've given our lives to the Lord where we're believers, we're blessed now in that scripture. The Bible tells us that we can learn from the Lord's ways now. Oshv and we have the choice to walk in his ways. For example, in John chapter 14 verse 26, it says Yeshua says, "But when the father sends the advocate as my Yeshua's representative, that [clears throat] is the Holy Spirit, he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything, Cole, that I have told you." You know, think about what a blessing that is.

We don't have to wait for the millennium, which is what these verses that um Mike is prophesying about during that time. We don't have to wait for that to happen because when we've given our life to the Lord, he gives us his Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit teaches us the Lord's ways and we can walk in his path now, right? What an incredible blessing. I mean, it's going to be beyond amazing with being able to see Yeshua, but what a blessing.

We can know his ways now. So, let's continue in Micah 4:3. And the Lord says, or Micah says, the Lord will mediate between peoples, and he'll settle disputes between strong nations far away. And they will hammer their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no low, no longer fight against nation, nor train for war anymore. And [snorts] think about it when Micah prophesied this. Can you imagine the hope that it gave the people at that time?

Because remember last week we ended up with Micah telling the people that because of their sin, remember what Micah 3:12 said, "Because of you, Mount Zion will be plowed like an open field. Jerusalem will be reduced to ruins and a thicket will grow on the heights where the temple now stands. So now the Lord's giving the people hope for the future. And I mean think about how many wars we're going through and he's giving you and me that hope also.

And it's interesting because in Isaiah 2 um:es 1-3, Isaiah is saying the same thing around the exact same time that um Micah is. And Isaiah is saying it, remember, to the people in Israel. And Micah's Micah is saying it to the people in Judah. And God wanted to make sure that the people then and the people now, you and I, we understand what's going to happen. And God is having Micah and Isaiah give us just a glimpse of what it's going to be like during the millennium when the Messiah Yeshua is reigning.

And we first learn about what the millennium will be like in Revelation 20 verse 1-3. And he says, "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. And he seized the dragon, that old serpent who is the devil, Satan. And they and he bound them in chains for 1,000 years. And the angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked. So Satan couldn't deceive the nations anymore until that thousand years were finished.

And afterwards, he must be released for a little while. So, we know that the millennium will last 1,000 years. We also know that Satan's going to be bound during that time. So, he can't tempt or entice people. And there's not going to be any wars. There's not going to be any conflicts. You know, can you imagine that? And people from all over the world are going to travel to Jerusalem so they can learn face to face from Jesus, from Yeshua.

Think about what Micah was saying about when he was saying weapons are going to be transformed into agricultural tools. Isn't that such a symbol of peace replacing conflict? And yet, Yeshua was born approximately 700 years after Micah prophesied this. And [snorts] when Yeshua is born, he brought spiritual peace to those who have given their lives to him. You know, we know that our sins are forgiven. He gives us a peace regardless of our situation.

Um we find out more in Ephesians 2 chapter or chapter 2 verse 17 and 18 and it says he brought this good news of peace to you the Gentiles who were far away from him talking about Yeshua and peace to the Jews who were near. Now ak now all of us can come to the father through the same holy spirit because of what Christ Yeshua has done for us. So once the Lord was born, died in place of us and was raised again. As a believer, we can have peace in our life.

But as you know, the world overall, it doesn't have that and it won't until the millennium. And keep in mind cuz it can be confusing that the millennium is different than the end times when the Lord comes back to judge the world. The millennium millennium happens just before the final judgment where those that have given their lives to the Lord are going to live forever with him and those that have rejected the Lord will live eternally separated in hell from him.

Oh, I don't even want to think about that. And that's the great judgment and it happens after the millennium. But what the Lord is having Micah prophesy about is what's going to happen during that thousand reign during the millennium. So turn back to Micah 4:4 and 5. And he continues saying, "Everyone will live in peace and prosperity, enjoying their own grape vines and fig trees, for there will be nothing to fear. The Lord of heaven's armies has made this promise.

It's a time of great peace. Though the nations around us, talking about Israel, they follow their idols, we will follow the Lord our God forever and ever. So, this is showing us that even though there's not going to be any wars, there's not going to be any hard times that people go through, it's going to be a time of peace, that people are still going to have to make a choice on whether or not they're going to give their life to Yeshua.

And sadly, and I can't understand it, but sadly, some are going to refuse to. But of all, those that do give their life to the Lord, just like now, they're going to eventually live forever with the Lord. And why wouldn't someone want to do that, right? Okay. Continue in verse 6. Micah continues saying, "In the coming days, says the Lord, I will gather together those who are lame, those who have been in exile, those whom have been filled with grief.

Those who are weak will survive as a remnant. Those who are exiles will become a strong nation. Then I the Lord will rule from Jerusalem as their king forever. As for you, Jerusalem, the citadel of God's people. Your royal might and power will come back to you again. The kingship will be restored. Restored to my precious Jerusalem. What an amazing time this will be. You know, I was thinking a couple of times because it's talking the millennium a lot will be right now.

Remember the Bible talks about that it's the time of the Gentiles and there will be a time again where it will be focused on the Jewish people and the blinders will be taken off and many will give their life to the Lord. And so it's talking a taste of that, right? And you know, I was thinking today, people say it's hard to give their life to the Lord because of the fear they have of war and sickness and all of the troubles of this world.

And it's easy to say, "But I can't see Yeshua, so how can I follow him?" But it's interesting because during the millennium, there's going to be a thousand years of peace with Yeshua physically in Jerusalem ruling as King of Kings. Yet, even with that perfect peace and with the Lord himself present, sadly, there's still going to be people that refuse to give their lives to him. And it just shows the sin nature that we have, you know, and that we need to be praying for people.

And then in verse 9, Micah tells them of what will happen first because of their sin. And he said, so you see how he keeps going back and forth. He's saying, "But why llama, why are you now screaming in terror? Have you no king to lead you? Have you wise people? Have your wise people all died? Pain has gripped you like a wild like a woman in childbirth. Wrignan like a woman in labor. You people of Jerusalem. For now you must leave this city.

We live in the open country and you will soon be sent to exile. in distant Babylon. But of all, the Lord will rescue you there. He will redeem you from the grip of your enemies. So the Lord's having Micah warn them. Okay, first he talks about the millennium. Now he's warning them that, hey, you know, the same thing that we've been saying. because of your sins, we're going to allow Babylon to conquer you and they're going to take you away from your beloved land of Israel.

And we know that that happened, right? But then as always before it happened, the Lord tells them that and then he gives them hope. So he has Micah talk eventually about how they're going to be rescued. And don't you love how the Lord always gives us hope after judgment, after his punishment of us? And you know, this made me start thinking, have you ever wondered why so many countries attack Israel or want to attack Israel?

How many people hate the Jewish people? And it seems to be getting worse now again, right? And Do you realize numerous verses both in the Tanakh, the Old Testament, the Habbrit Hadesha, the New Testament, God talks about the Jewish people being his people. For example, in Deuteronomy 7:6, he says, "For you are a holy people who belong to the Lord your God. Of all, Cole, all the people on the earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure." And then again in Romans 9:4 we read, "They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God's adopted children.

God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises." So, we know from scripture that the Jewish people are chosen by God. You know, one of the passages that says they're his precious people. And we know that the Lord never changes and his word is true. So, we know that that's still how he feels, right? Because remember in Romans 11 25 and 26 it says I want you to understand this mystery dear brothers and sisters so that you will not feel proud about yourself.

Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. Remember [snorts] that's what we were talking about. the millennium is and what Micah was talking earlier about the when it was the time for the Jewish people. And then verse 26 in Romans, it says, "And so all of Israel will be saved just as the scripture says, the one who rescues Yeshua will come from Jerusalem and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness." So, we know from scripture that God's not through with the Jewish people.

He loves them so much. Just like he loves you if you're a Gentile, he loves everyone, right? But it goes back to my original question on why Llama, why do so many people hate Israel and the Jewish people? And think about it. This is crazy. Israel is about times smaller than America and it's about 780 times smaller than Russia. And yet every single day, don't you hear the news talking about Israel and the Jewish people?

And it's about somebody wanting to kill them or hurt them or something, which means to the answer of my question that it's because of Satan. He knows that the Jewish people and Israel is very dear to the Lord's heart. So, of course, he's going to try to make people not like them, right? [clears throat] Hate them. And he causes people and countries to want to destroy this tiny nation because he knows what's going to happen.

He He knows what's going to happen to him. So, he's trying his hardest to destroy as much as he can. And sadly, it's beginning to happen in churches also. And so, as believers, we need to make sure that we're supportive and we're praying for the Jewish people because that's God's heart, right? And at the same time, reading these verses in Micah, we see that the Lord is allowing Satan to do this. He's not causing it, but he's allowing it as punishment to the Jewish people because of their sin.

And in that same way, doesn't that apply to you and me? Right? The Lord loves each of us so very, very much more than we will ever be able to comprehend. And because he loves us, he punishes and corrects us when we're in the wrong. Remember what Hebrews 12:6 says. It says, "For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and [snorts] he punishes each one he accepts as his child. And he does this not to be mean, [snorts] but because he loves us, right?

And he wants us to stop sinning. And he wants us to do what's right. Just like a loving parent corrects their child so that they can grow and walk in the right ways. And that's why the Lord does it. And that's why he's having Micah warn the people, "Hey, quit sinning." in the same way he's talking to you and me. And so then Micah continues prophesying for the future events that you and I still, it hasn't happened yet in verse 10 and 13 in Micah 4.

[snorts] And it says, "Now many nations have gathered against you. Let her be Jerusalem desecrated." They say, "Let us see the destruction of Jerusalem." But of all, they do not, lo, not know the Lord's thoughts or understand his plans. These nations don't know that he's gathering them together to be beaten and trampled like sheav of grain on a threshing floor. Rise up and crush the nations, O Jerusalem, says the Lord.

For I, God, will give you iron horns and bronze hooves, so that you can trample many nations to pieces, and you will present their stolen riches to the Lord, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth." So, this shows us there's a time where many, many nations come against Israel all at the same time. And in other books of the Bible, I don't have time to go over it, but other books of the Bible, it even specifically says and names a lot of the countries going against Israel.

And you could read more about it in Zechariah um chapters 12-4. and also in Joel chapters um Joel chapter three and I love how God you know doesn't just do it through one prophet but all his word comes together and so praise God we see in verses in Micah that we just read plus we know from Revelation chapter 19 and chapter 20 that Yeshua is going to return as king of kings king and lord of lord and he's going to destroy the armies that were gathered around to conquer Israel Jerusalem.

And so then that's going to happen and then Satan's going to be bound and chained for a thousand years, which is what we call the millennium. And don't you love how the Lord gives us hope by showing us these future events and showing us the end, how he will be victorious. And in the meantime, he wants us to continue getting closer and closer to him and to share about him with others that don't know him. and make sure each day you spend time reading your Bible, praising him, thanking him.

Pour out your requests to him, both for you and for others. And you know what, sweet women, if you have never given your life to the Lord, do it now. Ov now. I promise you'll never be sorry. And then you'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt that when you die, you're going to live forever with your heavenly father. Don't put it off. Plus, he, you know, gives us his spirit, his holy spirit to lead us and guide us here on earth.

And we need that, don't we? So, just talk to him in your own words. He desires for your fellowship. He loves you so much. Tell him you're sorry for your sins. Tell him you want to live your life for him. And you know, if you've done that, we would love to hear about it. Just so we can rejoice with you, we can pray for you.
