It took 2 months for this girl to scale her app from zero to 360,000 a month using this Instagram page. And now she has over 12,000 paying customers, all from Instagram and a digital product that I can explain in one sentence. Her name is Sarah. She recently went on starter story and broke down the entire business, the revenue, how she built it, and most importantly, how she marketed it.
And you can verify all this for yourself. >> So, within the first 2 months since launching, we hit 300K MR. We have 12,000 paying customers. We've had, I believe, over 200,000 downloads, which is super cool. Huh? Look, if you're new here, my name's Clay and I built this YouTube channel to over 250,000 subs and millions of followers on Instagram, teaching people how to use AI to make that sweet Wi-Fi money. Today, I'm going to be reverse engineering her entire business model and rebuilding it in front of you.
The audience, the product, the backend. And before you say she was only able to get results like that because of her audience size, look at this. I grew a brand new Instagram account in her niche to 10,000 followers and 500,000 views in 30 days, all with AI content. And I'm going to show you how. But before we get into it, you need to understand how she's monetizing all this. This is Sarah's Instagram account, and this is her app, Stella.
The concept of her app is simple. Basically, you tell it your goals, and then it generates custom visualizations narrated by your future self who already achieved them. And I know that sounds kind of woowoo, but this really [music] works. And it also gives you daily affirmations. That's it. That's the whole app. There's no feed. There's no 12 features. It's all one simple thing. And in case building an app like this sounds complicated, I promise it's not.
I'm going to be showing you how to do that later in this video. You don't need a coding team, a developer, or even the app store. We're basically going to be using Claude, Higsfield, and Zapier to build this entire thing out. But you're still probably asking yourself, why does this work so well? Well, the reason, as Sarah says, is that she built an audience first. [music] If you have a personal brand and if you have a following, if you can go viral, you could sell anything.
I mean, I could sell air and it'll sell. >> Most people build a product first, then try to hunt for customers. But Sarah did it backwards. Content and audience first, then the product becomes obvious. And again, that's probably where you say, "Great." But she had almost a million followers when she launched her app. But just like the account that I built in 30 days, Sarah built hers extremely fast. She started from scratch and within 2 months had 40,000 followers.
Again, making money with digital products is not about the product. It's about the art of getting attention. >> It's not so much a question of like, do you already have a personal brand as much as it is, do you have the skill of virality? And when you [music] master the skill of virality, then you can create a personal brand very fast. >> And that skill is easier than you think. Look at this. 30 days ago, I started an Instagram account from zero in the same niche as Sarah to see if we could replicate her results.
But instead of it being a real human, I built this AI influencer. She's basically an older woman who gives you readings about love, life, and what's coming for you. I barely put any time into this and I got 10,000 followers in 30 days from just 41 uploads. And I'm going to show you exactly how I did it so you can just copy it. Step one, building the persona. If you're starting from scratch, this is going to be where you begin.
First, I want you to pick your niche, which in this case, it's going to be about affirmations. Then, you're going to want to secure a handle on Instagram. I went with horoscopes with Luna. We did horoscopes because it's the same emotional territory as manifestation, identity, hope, what's coming for me, and because most girls are obsessed with birth chart signs. You can use this free tool to check and make sure that the Instagram handle that you want is available before you start your account.
And I'm saying this because most of the good ones are gone. But if you do want to get a really good account name, I do have a secret way of doing it. You can email me if you're serious. Next, we need to focus on the look. Manifestation and horoscopes attract a very specific audience. super sun, Aries moon, Gemini, RISING. >> WHAT THE >> We don't want to be using bold, bright colors for them. So, I'm going to have Claude lock in a color palette and a font direction before we generate anything.
Now, we're going to build the AI influencer herself. And to do this, we're going to come over to Higsfield to make our character. We're going to come up to image, and then select NanoBanana Pro. Inside this prompt box, I'm going to describe the character I want to generate, who she is, how old she is, how she carries herself, all the things that Higsfield needs to come up with a character that actually attracts our target audience.
These look pretty good. So once I have a look that I like, I lock it in so she's the same person in every video. Most people using AI make a mistake here and they end up having characters that look different in every video. The next thing that I focus on in prompting is the background. And that's more important than you think. If you look at our girl, she has very strategic things in the background that are going to attract our target audience again.
And so here in this final prompt, I'm going to make sure that my character is the same, but I want these things in the background so that it's absolutely perfect. Now Sarah is getting hundreds of thousands of views on almost every video she uploads. And if I look at the account that I ended up building, most of our views also came from reals. So step two is turning these visuals into actual videos. But for the videos to do well, we're going to need a good script.
So I'm going to come back over to Claude and ask it for scripts about horoscopes and affirmations. Once you have a script you like, you have three options. You can either generate one using 11 Labs if you want a really specific voice and that's what I did for my account. Option two is recording it yourself and option three is just plugging it directly into Higsfield and choosing one of their custom voices. To do that, we're going to stay inside Higsfield.
We're going to come up to video and then you can choose either VO cling or seed dance 2.5. If you're using Cedance 2.5, you're going to use this prompt so the camera stays still. Then all you need to do is select your aspect ratio to be Instagram real size and click generate. And let's look at the final result. >> Okay, here's the thing. Nobody tells [music] you about horoscopes. Your sun sign is only a third of the story.
That's your core identity. [music] But your moon sign, that's your emotional world, the part you don't show people. And your rising sign is the vibe people get off you in [music] the first 5 seconds of meeting you. >> Great. So, we have our first video. And this was the exact process that I used on my first video on her account. We uploaded it and we only got about 400 views. But because it was the first post, I thought maybe we just needed to upload a few more times and one of them would take off.
That was not the case. It actually ended up taking 17 uploads before we ever got one that got more than 2,000 views. And this is the point where I see so many people give up. They post a few times, they don't see any traction, and they're like, "That's it. I'm done. I quit." And I get it. I've been there. But what I did and what I'm going to show you next is actually going to make or break whether your account grows or not.
Look, Claude is extremely smart, but if you're not using it the right way, you're never going to get any views on social media. So, instead of having Claude come up with scripts from scratch, I decided to train it on the most viral scripts on the internet. To do this, I basically came over to Instagram and [music] searched keywords in my niche. Then, I copied the links from those videos and I brought them to this free transcriber.
This transcriber shows you the scripts from these viral videos and then you bring those over to Claude and ask it to iterate on those concepts. And this was where we had our first major breakthrough with a video that got over 200,000 views. Again, on an account that had less than 2,000 followers at the time. Now, if we look back at Sarah's account, she's opening most of her videos with repeat these affirmations for 7 days.
I want you to think about why that works for her audience. If you have to come back to this reel 7 days in a row, then your first instinct is to save this reel. So, she basically built an algorithm trigger into the hook of her video, which is basically social media ninja level. So, back to my account. Our next videos did not perform the same way, and I'm about to share some sauce that no one else on the internet shares.
So, make sure you're subscribed. To make sure that this account got more views, we set up a distribution model to make sure that traffic came to the page. What that means is I had other accounts in our niche re-sharing every post that we posted to make sure that we got discovered. And what ended up happening was amazing. We had multiple posts get hundreds of thousands of views. By the end of the 30 days, we had over 500,000 views off of 41 uploads, which was a pretty big win.
But that's just the audience. So now, let's turn this into a business. Step three, building the back end. So Sarah built a mobile app for iPhones. And as someone who's built my own mobile app and gotten tens of thousands of downloads off of Instagram, you do not need to do this. Mobile apps take weeks to get reviewed by the app store. And instead, you can build a web app today. It'll literally be the same product, the same offer, but you can ship it today.
Now, here's the thing about apps that no one tells you. The visual screens are actually the easy part. The hard part is everything else behind them. Storing who signed up, taking their money, actually developing the product, and that's why a lot of people don't build apps. They think you need to hire a developer. But as of today, you do not need one. We're going to be building ours with Claude Code and Zapier in the back end.
And look, even Sarah built hers using Claude. I used, you [music] know, Cloud Code. Literally just normal Claude, to be honest, has incredible design capabilities. >> To build an app like this, my first step was to go over to Claude and paste in the app link that we were taking inspiration from. Then I dropped in this prompt. You can pause it here and read it yourself, or you can grab it from the description below. But ultimately, what you're really doing here is describing exactly what your app does.
So I said, I'm making a web app named Spectre. It'll do the same thing that this app does. Give me the Claude prompt for building the web app with a form on it, plus Zapier prompts for email handling. Claude will send emails daily. Keep it simple. Then it gave me these prompts right here. My second step was to copy the first Zapier prompt, then go over to Zapier and paste it in. Just from pasting that over, it built the entire automation on its own.
Then I clicked the first step, the web hook, and I copied over the URL. And quick thing, in case web hook sounds super technical to you, it basically means a mailbox address for your app. So, in our case, Zapier makes the mailbox and then hands you the address. You then paste that address into your site and every time someone fills out the form, the info gets delivered straight into that inbox. That's the automation that we're building here.
And again, we're able to do this without writing any code ourselves. Our third step was to come back over to Claw. I then pasted in the web app design prompt and dropped that web hook URL into the spot it asked for. Then I hit send. Then it gave me this page, which looks pretty sweet for what we're doing. Our fourth step was to download the file and then come over to a site called Netlefi. You can basically just sign up and then upload the HTML.
Then I made it public and there is our app live in [music] less than 10 minutes. If you want, you can also buy a domain like spectre.com right on Netlifi 2, but I skipped that part. Then I scrolled down on our site and submitted some sample info. Our fifth step to building the site was to come back over to Zapier. The info I just submitted was already sitting there and I let Zapier AI do its thing and hit publish. Then I clicked new zap and I pasted over the second prompt that Claude gave me here.
Then I signed into my Claude account here and I connected the Gmail account that I wanted the daily emails going out from. From there, you can let co-pilot [music] handle the rest. I publish that one as well and that is a full live working web app from just four prompts. That's it. Now, you're probably asking yourself, well, what about the price? How do you actually collect payments? And the answer is, I'd actually like to test this product out with my audience first.
I want to [music] make sure that users are actually interested in this app before I start putting a price on it. For example, if I see a ton of demand, then obviously I know that this is a winning product. But if nobody's interested in this for free, then I probably need to try something else. And that's the beauty of having tools like Claude Code, Zapier, and Higsfield all at your disposal. You can build content, web apps, templates, anything faster than ever before.
This entire process from start to finish, from having zero views and zero profile to millions of views and a working web app, took me less than 30 days. And if I rewind a few years to when I built my app, it took me over 9 months to get that published on the app store. I'm going to put the link to my app and all the prompts that I used below so you can test it out and actually go and copy this if you want to use it for your own project.
So, that is building the entire app and let's be honest about where this stands right now. The audience part is already real. We got 10,000 followers and over 500,000 views in 30 days, all using that Higsfield workflow. Again, go verify that for yourself to see how easy it is. But the monetization part is what I'm testing now. The app is now live. The backend works thanks to Zapier. And I'm going to be pointing all the traffic from our account at the app this week.
I'm going to be reporting back with real numbers what converted and what I do differently so that you know what works. So, if you want to see what happens, make sure you're subscribed. But I want to remind you one last thing that Sarah said. Remember, she did not build the product first. First came the audience, then the product became obvious. That's the order. Create the content with Higsfield, post it on Instagram, then push that traffic over to the app that we built with Claude and Zapier.
Thanks for watching. Feel free to replay this video and follow it step by step so you can build something yourself. And with that, I will see you on the other
