C.S. Joseph: This is, Inside the Mind of the ENTJ Subconscious Developed Judging Male, also known as Subconscious Developed Unconscious Focused, uh, Male. And, uh, today's episode we're gonna be going through what it's like to be one of them. So, as you can see, these folks are implosive. They're not really, uh, open individuals. They're very private. Uh, oftentimes people think that they are introverts without actually being introverts.
It's what implosive people do. Uh, they are authentic, uh, which means that even though they are kind of private individuals, they're, uh, not really going to, uh, work on fitting in. Fitting in is not really, uh, their thing, basically Uh, it's not, uh… And, uh, they are a body temple. Um, body temple folk are all about respect. It's all about status. It's about credibility. And, uh, the, the Wayfarer, so they're kinda like pirates, take what you can, give nothing back.
But, uh, life is about trying to, uh, find the treasure that they're looking for and then, uh, give, uh, that treasure, uh, find out to, like, which person to share their treasure with. And, uh, they are king archetype according to King, Warrior, Magician, Lover, which is, uh, Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette's work. King archetype are all about, uh, wealth maxing, gathering resources, managing resources to a point.
Uh, and, uh, they also take on the archetypical role of the jury. Uh, the jury is an individual who likes to be in the position of decision maker, but they prefer to make decisions based on a group, uh, instead of, uh, like group consensus instead of, uh, making decisions on their own. Sometimes these folks can succumb to group think as a result of that situation, not what I recommend. Uh, subconscious developed judging male is an Octagram.
Octagram is, uh, about a person's nurture 'cause ENTJ is their personality type, that's their nature. Octagram is their nurture. And so as a result of that, uh, they oftentimes end up going with the crowd when it comes to their decision-making. Uh, they are an energizer. These folks, uh, definitely know how to throw a party or be the life of the party, even though they're kind of a private, uh, individual. So they try to be, like, part of a close, uh, tight-knit group as a result.
Uh, they're the negotiator. They have the ability to, um, while they kinda typically avoid conflict, if conflict does happen, they elect themselves the person who has to remove conflict for some reason, but that's what they do. And they're very stoic, uh, which means they take a lot of hits and go out of their way to, uh, in general be conflict avoidant if possible. Uh, they need to have their personal, uh, peace as it were And then we have their cognitive function stack, which is, uh, extroverted thinking, also known as goals.
Introverted intuition, which is desires. Extroverted sensing, which is skill. Introverted feeling, which are principles. Principles are also known as, uh, rules to live by. And then you have, uh, introverted thinking, which is basically thoughts, and extroverted intuition, which are choices or options that are known to people or to themselves. And introverted sensing, uh, which is how comfortable a person is or how familiar someone is with a particular, uh, situation or life experience, uh, their memory, basically.
And, uh, also values, which is extroverted feeling at the bottom. And so each of the cognitive functions have a cognitive attitude Cognitive attitudes come from Dr. John Beebe in his book Energies and Patterns of Psychological Type. I have gone out of my way to upgrade the understanding of how those work. Cognitive attitudes, there's a total of 16 different cognitive attitudes. And within each function stack, there are four of them that are immature and four of them that are mature, basically.
And their immaturity or maturity of the cognitive attitude determines which specific cognitive attitude they have. And then obviously, each cognitive function takes on a particular functional role within their psyche. Top four functions represent their ego. Bottom four functions represent their shadow, also known as the unconscious side of their mind. Given that these men are subconsciously developed, they are more focused on their subconscious and leading with their subconscious because they're overly invested with the top four functions of their mind.
So first one is expert thinking warrior, which is all about being the decider of what goals a group should have or what would be the most accessible for other people. ENTJs who are subconsciously developed, unconsciously focused males are pretty good at middle management as a result because they're able to set the goals. They're able to understand tasks. These folks are really good at project management as a result of that.
They're also really good at gathering available data and looking at what other data other people have gathered, and they're able to make decisions based on that. And they're kind of like doing it like a warrior. They're kind of being idealistic about it because it's a mature function, so it's idealistic to a point. But they're still taking on the role of the decider instead of the role of the observer. So expert thinking in the warrior slot is more on the J side.
As well as the parent function, which is where parent function's all about being responsible. These folks are responsible with, uh, their own desires and the desires of other people. Uh, so because they are responsible with their own desires, they expect other people around them to be responsible with their desires. And they oftentimes point that out, uh, because oftentimes people are irresponsible with their desires, and that could be a really bad thing, uh, for, uh, at least in the presence of this ENTJ.
They're gonna call, uh, people out on that. Um, now, uh, where they're irresponsible basically is, uh, their skill, uh, which is extra sensing. A child is just like a little… It's a, a little kid. Uh, and they are constantly trying to improve their own skill. They wanna surround themselves with people that improve their competence, improve their capabilities. They're looking for any opportunity to self-improve. Oftentimes, ENTJs consume a lot of books, uh, to that end to be able to sharpen their own skills, uh, so they can gain additional confidence, uh, and competence with their skill.
However, they kinda do it in an immature, uh, way. And they do this, uh, you know, in prevention mode, which is right here. Uh, they're trying to basically protect their psyche to a point by preventing problems in their life because they believe, oh, the more skilled I am, the less problems I'm going to have. And also what's really interesting about the parent function with desires is that they oftentimes neglect the parent function, their own parent function, because it's like, "Oh, I have the assumption that I'm really responsible with my desires, and I can actually take responsibility, uh, for other people's desires.
Uh, because I'm responsible, I don't really have to pay as much attention to that." Um, but they are very selfish, uh, when it comes to setting goals. They wanna be the person in the group or the team or in the business who is setting the goals. And oftentimes they can come off really controlling because of that, and, uh, that can be a problem for a lot of people when they work with these kinds of ENTJ men. And then, uh, they're also their inferior function, which is where their insecurity exists.
They're very, uh… And this is something that they need to be certain on or else, like, like, breaks their ego. They have to be certain that, uh, no matter what they do, uh, that they are certain that they have the best, uh, rules to live by. And they like to have people in their life that kind of shape them in such a way where, uh, they can be a little bit more basically around people that help them develop their character, around people that give them really good, uh, rules to live by.
What's interesting about principles is that they're very different from values because the ENTJ is looking for something that is applicable in all situations, hence why it's a rule to live by. It's a rule to live by in every situation. And their emotional state, because it's an F function, is entirely based on that, and that's a really big deal, uh, for them. Uh, and then we go into the unconscious. Um, this is probably the most sensitive part of their mind because it's their defenseless function.
And they're very, uh, defenseless, uh, with what they know, and they're constantly aware of what other people think because their introverted thinking is focusing on, uh, the thoughts of other people. And so they are worried that other people are being stupid or re- or basically retarded around them with their decisions, uh, that they're not being logical and they're not, uh, coming to proper conclusions. Oftentimes, ENTJs end up stupid zoning people literally because of that worry, because they're so worried about being around stupid people because they themselves believe that they will become stupid as a result.
And that's, like, a super big problem in of its own right. Uh, that's their defenseless function. Uh, and, uh, oftentimes they also get really worried when there is someone intelligent around them that that person's being invalidated, and they will oftentimes come to the defense of that person as a result And then there's extra intuition, uh, grandfather, which is all about, uh, being-- which is all about choices. And they're very critical with this function.
They're critical about other people's, um, choices. And, uh, they, they're very demanding with this. They demand other people are making responsible choices to the point that they will dictate to other people what choices should actually be done. Again, this is, uh, kind of supports the fact that ENTJs who are subconscious developed judging, uh, males, these men can be really controlling. And, and that's because of what's going on with extra intuition, uh, choices, uh, because they're basically managing the choices of every person around them, which is a really, really big deal.
And then their trickster function, which they're very idealistic about, but the fact that it's a trickster function and they kinda don't really know what's going on, uh, for themselves, uh, they're just not really sure, uh, about what they're comfortable with, uh, or what they're even familiar with. These folks oftentimes have a very bad memory and forget things a lot, especially like minutiae. Uh, they forget names.
Sometimes they forget faces. They really rely on reminders, even though oftentimes they walk around thinking that they have such a great memory, but they really don't. And that's because it's a trickster function. And that too can be a serious problem over time. So yeah, that would, that would really suck. Uh, but they do it idealistically. Uh, and oftentimes these ENTJs can get in trouble because they're basically willing to try anything as a result, and being in that position where they're trying anything, oftentimes they try bad things, uh, things they probably should not become familiar with.
And then oftentimes they might find themselves getting addicted to a substance or, uh, getting with a woman that he probably shouldn't get with. Uh, it ends up basically leading to bad decision-making. And oftentimes they can look like a hypocrite because they're all about managing other people's choices and other people's goals. But at the same time, they also-- this is where they themselves end up becoming irresponsible.
Uh, and oftentimes people point the finger at them and tell them how much of a hypocrite they are, and that too is a big problem. And then there is, uh, their extroverted feeling demon. Uh, and this is a function that they often sacrifice. They will sacrifice their own values, uh, specifically, uh, to-- and they're willing to sacrifice their own values to basically fuel their trickster function and basically try anything, which is really terrible, a terrible position to be in, in life.
Um, my opinion, this is a, a nurture that should be avoided for men and, uh, for subconscious developed judging males. They need to, like, get out of it as soon as possible, uh, because when you're subconscious developed judging, uh, with your octagram from your nurture as a man, you're not actually able to learn. You kinda think you have it all figured out. SDJ men are kind of prideful like that. Uh, so they're willing to just basically explore anything and do anything.
And because of that, they're willing to sacrifice their values. They also really hate it when someone else, uh, is telling them what values they should or should not have. They absolutely hate it. They loathe that behavior, and they wanna stay away from it as often as possible to the point where they just can't even, they just can't even deal with that. So anyway, if you wanna find out that you-- I-if you are an ENTJ subconscious developed judging male, uh, which is one of the hundred and twenty-eight types according to the Octagram Four, go to skool.com/csjoseph.
