It's going to be insane value. So don't miss out and let's get into the video. All right, let's get right into it. Here top left, you can select the players you want to review. So I selected an allias. I created an allias and then I selected here Ben CB from Poker Stars and Coin Poker. Then I set a filter for this year because we want the to be the most updated uh Texas nomin. And here you have um pre-made hand toote pop-ups.
So, they're very clean, very detailed. I also have my own. Uh, you can see it's not so pretty, but certain stats that I would have a look into. And I'm just going to use the default one. And yeah, if or you also see the hand toote ones, you have here more detailed statistics. Uh, whatever you find the most helpful, it's up to you. I'm going to use the default one here. And let's get right into it. We're going to be looking into open raising.
Looks quite solid to me. In fact, button could be looser. I think button should be around 50 to 55. I've already noticed this in my game when reviewing with paired that a lot of uh open raises. I'm skipping small blind. I really want to see a high race stress in because people are not three betting enough from the big blind. You see, I'm three betting um quite a lot. That obviously makes me very susceptible against uh for betting but you know you have seen me guys five bit Germaning pretty wide so I would say I defend reasonably well against for bits um well at least my perception we're going to see the data race first in you want to have 15 to 20% from early position you want to have 25 to 30% from middle position cut off you want to be close to 40 35 to 40 but around 50 and small band it really depends.
If you feel very comfortable playing limp pots, you can have a lower race first in from the small blind, but around 40 is pretty good. Obviously, big blind is going to be the the the race versus a limp, but we're going to look into that later on. For the three bet, um I find it a little bit too high from the button. Small blind, I'm uh not surprised and I think it's really good. Also here we need to distinguish between what is optimal in theory and what is good exploitive speaking.
So I might have a very high button fold to threeb but it might be good against population. That's why these database analysis guys who offer database analysis coaching this can be really bad for you because they might tell you well your button for the three bet should be 40 45 according to GTO but people are not three betting enough so now you start defending more but you start torching more money in fact you're going to start losing money so that's why you want to have someone who understands a baseline but can tell you hey wait a minute yes it's high keep that in mind so technically could be exploited, but you exploiting yourself.
In fact, you want to have a database with numbers that are far off from GTO. That means you or it can mean you're exploiting. If your numbers align perfectly with GTO, well, you're not really exploiting enough. So, that's why I'm not too worried. I find my middle position for the three bet a bit on the lower side. Considering people are not necessarily three betting enough, I find this stat a little bit on the lower side.
Should be also like around 45, but not a big deal. But definitely something I should keep in mind. So should open race looser from the button. I should fold a little bit more against three bets from middle position. Uh call open race. I think that's pretty good. I think cutoff I could flat a little bit more, but it's totally fine. So if you review this with your own database, you now have a a good baseline. If you have a stat, let's say if if button is 8%.
This is what I see. A lot of players are not flooding enough on the button or small blind. They have like eight or nine on the button and then seven, six, seven on the small blind, right? There are a lot of spots where we want to be flatting reasonably wide. Three bidding. Obviously, I'm three bidding way too much from early position, but this comes with the fact that a lot of players are not qualified for betting enough and are now over calling too much.
So, we have here in the exploitative master class here on the on the right side in the champions tier, we do have some exploitative sims and there's one uh verse early position which is really really cool. It also has a video so you get everything explained. So when we're for example cutoff and we face an open versus UTG this is usually our uh three betting frequency 6%. All right. Um if they open from middle position it might be eight or 9%.
So you see here my three bet on the cutoff 10% but again with three bidding here against early position obviously it should be a bit lower but if we play against hijack or cutoff then it should be a bit higher. You won't find in these exploitative nodes, you won't find preetting range against other positions because we only want to focus on this one node because it's an exploitative sim. Obviously, you have all the ranges in the other sims.
So, this is again just a specific spot that we want to show you. So, what we did here is UTG facing a three bit now versus the cutoff and we did not touch the folding frequency. You see it's only 21% according to GTO. So you actually from early position you want to defend really really wide. Again this is chippy VV and with deeper stacks obviously the the shorter we get u the more we start folding especially with ICM consideration.
So you see here I'm folding quite a bit um I would say with shorter STS all STS considered ICM probably like the perfect GTO number would be 35 37ish and like 38 for middle position. But again people are not three bidding enough there. So what we changed here is the for betting frequency because you see that the for betting is supposed to be quite aggressive. So if we change this and say okay people are probably for betting a little bit less.
Again it's not a huge change and the folding is almost the same and we could argue okay they forbit more suited aces and they forit less queens and jacks. I mean we're pretty deep early position was cut off. Most people just fled queens and jacks, which is completely reasonable. But how does it change our strategy? Well, now you see that without having more equity, our three bet goes from almost dits, right? It's like almost we can almost three bet our entire range now.
And that's why you want to play a very three bet heavy strategy because you knock out equity behind from the button, from the small, from the big bite. Right? And if you're on the cutoff and you flat your ace9 suited as it is in GTO and then the big brand enters the pot with 10 six suited, you lose equity. Right? But with under the gun four betting a little bit less, we actually see we want to three bet way more. And that's why you want to aim for higher three bet percentages.
Of course, I'm aware of it. I understand that also people start adjusting me. So if I three bit and they face a four bet, I defend more. I'm going to put myself in more disgusting spots, right? Because I present my strategy, it makes it a little more difficult for me. But on especially on micro stakes, no stakes, up to mistakes, you can be absolutely exploitative in these sports. If people wouldn't know me, if I would just play for myself anonymously, you would probably think I'm a huge whale, but I would be crushing even harder because it's harder for people to adjust.
So have a play a very three bet heavy strategy for middle position cut off. Isolate the players. Stay away from oh, I have a beautiful king suited. Let's flat. Just think in terms of equity. If you call, yes, you might have 50 55% equity against the opening range, but if someone comes along, your equity drops to 40%. But if you three bet, you get the pot heads up again, you're going to have 50% versus 50% plus position uh plus really good playability.
But if you flat and someone enters the pot, boom, your equity goes down to 30%. You always give up 15 20% of the pot. And especially if it's four-way, it goes even further down. So make sure to utilize the power of boarding out equity and to punish people not foretting enough. If this meta changes, well, you know what to do. Then you just five bet jam city, right? King queen, you face a four bet, just go all in, fold out the ace jack, prints shitload of money from the blinds, you want to be very aggressive.
So I'm happy to see that. Obviously, we have to be a bit careful. If people start for betting us, well, then we start five bit jamming more. But playing a very aggressive strategy from the blinds is really good. My forward is on the higher side. I'm not surprised. I would keep an eye on that. I probably might have to adjust this a little bit because people start playing a little bit back more against four bets. I do see more crazy fivebit jams these days.
So yeah, I would keep an eye on and that's why it's important to review these kind of statistics. This it will help you refresh and see okay where am I actually out of line. So when you start seeing people playing back against you and you realize you don't have so much success, you know immediately what to do. But obviously it's important to understand the baseline. I mean if we're bit folding 44% of the time and especially in 40 50 big band pots, people can just five bit jam the [ __ ] out of you because your gap between calling and folding is way too big and you fold too often and it doesn't matter which hand they have anymore. like whatever they three bet with.
If you for bet and they have ace off, they can just profitably go all in because if called well you still have 30% equity but in 44 40% of the time they just collect those 20 25 big blinds that is in the middle. Of course, hands only 20,000. But uh I haven't been playing a lot of sessions this year. As you know, I'm not a full-time player. I play the occasia Sundays. I play um some of the series. I will definitely play more in the second half of the year.
But I want to show you that even if you're a part-time grinder and you only have 10, 15, 20,000 hands, you can totally review these statistics and they're more reliable than what the poker sites provide uh with their in ineputs, at least from my experience because also the data usually isn't that large and you get pretty good insights on your statistics here because many of you they're not going to have 50,000 100,000 hands.
You might have 5,000 10,000 hands over the last couple of months because you just play a couple of sessions. Obviously the bigger the sample the better it is. Obviously always take it with a grain of salt. You will see some statistics uh for example post slope where yeah it becomes um you have to be a bit careful because here we only have 14 situations. But for example you see that I'm quite a bit of a calling station on the flop for the continuation bed.
That's pretty low to be honest. I would like to see it more between 35 and 40. I mean the thing is that the seabed sizing sometimes get ridiculously small but definitely something where I have to keep an eye on it. If you want to get a little bit deeper into reviewing some of these spots you can click here and then you see that the kind of hands you're continuing with here. So we can for example open a hand right in this spot obviously we're folding right but it's it's for example really good for example check raising right.
So for example, if I open this hand here, king queen, right? Um I call a three bet and now I check fold, right? So we fold on the flop. So nothing too spectacular. This becomes more important. For example, here you see that for whatever reason in this standard popup, that's the only thing um actually here it is versus continuation bot flop, right? So I'm raising uh 16%. uh you want to have at least 15. It's definitely I would say from the population below the lower side I think it could be higher exploitatively speaking.
I will also keep that in mind. So again you see here um the kind of hands we're raising with obviously if you have a very strong hand right if we have here 87 for example I raised the flop. Yeah. So this is a really cool feature uh where you can review your own exploitative um place. So if you say okay I've been working lately on check race you just go into the statistics you click on this race and then it automatically opens up this um this popup here.
If we click on it and then you say obviously if we want to make exploitive plays usually it's ace high king heist and trash gutshots right like and then you can for example click into the trash and then we load the spot and yeah for whatever reason I decided here to race to rer. Okay, so this was the spot where I already had a note on the scale. I remember this player um where I know that, you know, he likes to see bigger.
He's playing straight forward for value. So I already saw that this kind of uh small size is weak. So I attacked it and then the the clickback made no sense to me. So I clicked it back. Really like this play. Worked out. Obviously these exploitative plays sometimes um are can be quite wild. Um here really cool spot. um it's going to see it really wide also nice spot to do it with and then you can just click your way through and if you see a spot okay that was a bit maybe a bit too much um so I really like the check race here um turn obviously we continue and river we have a mandatory jam for ran into it um but would play the hand the same way uh even just the king queens king 10 floats um still like weak jacks queens kings things are an absolute disgusting spot.
And we have so much value here. We can jam any two pair, so many flushes. Um yeah, this is a nice pretty standard check race. You want to pick like uh the queen three, queen four back to flush draw. You want to unblock the pocket pairs, five, sixes, eights kind of hands. Um yeah, turns mandatory second barer. And you just continue on hearts. You continue on a nine. you continue on a king, right? And this is how you can review those kind of punty spots where you make exploits.
Obviously, if there are exploits, um you um are not punting, right? And then you can also like, okay, maybe you implement a new strategy where you want to check race more low lower pairs for protection. Uh we have for the spot here, Ace3 decided to raise and just yeah, take it down right away. I see a lot of people just always calling these bottom pairs and yeah, really nice hands to do it with just fold out the 10, nine and clubs that might bear off to your hand.
So you just basically protecting and folding out these kind of even if if he has something like pocket sevens, pocket eights, you fold those outs and you give up. If if the turn is maybe a heart, a three, a six, we continue. And that's pretty much the strategy, right? And if you're not sure about these hands, you just post them somewhere in the Discord. And this is a really cool feature to review. So, let's move on with the statistics.
We had four to three bet, we had call open race, we had three bet, uh three bet from the blinds. For betting, for betting you want to have really high from cut off and button uh and hijack. So, like for betting against the late positions and the blinds. But let's look into the continuation bets. I'm going to go here into my uh custommade because we can distinguish here more between C but in position out of position in position 80% is really good.
Uh it shouldn't be lower. It shouldn't get too high. I think if you play a micro stakes low stakes and you have 85 is solely fine. It's going to be less punished. You want to have at least over 55 turnse second barer otherwise you're too passive. Around 60 is really good. And then if you are able to find lots of thin value bets also here river um I would say higher river on high stakes lower on micro stakes and low stakes.
If you have let's say 50 to 55 on micro stakes low stakes that's totally fine because you have to give up a lot of bluffs. If you have over 60 on low stakes I think this can be really bad. So the higher you play the the more you want to be around 60 and the lower you play you want to be more around 50. uh for the check race turn uh I mean on the flop here I would say also low stakes it should be around 40 to 45 on on lower stakes between 35 sorry in higher stakes between 35 and 40 should be to good to go why obviously on lower stakes people don't check race enough so you want to let go more of hands and not be a a sticky calling station GTO nerd uh this is really high but turn check raises I mean the sample now it becomes a problematic.
So this can be heavily skewed. We can look into the spots here as well. This feature really hypes because we see here I was barreling trash ace high. So most of my al most of my hands here are just bluffs anyway. So obviously this pushes the number into a ridiculously high. Uh so we have here aces pot just going for value and then just bet folding the turn. Pretty standard here top pair betting just for thin value placing a J a raise min race we just fold.
Even if it's a min race don't level yourself into some nonsense. Uh and then you can review those hands as well. I'm definitely barreling a middle pair here I guess for thin value as well. Uh small bet and another small bet just against the 9x and hearts 8x and so many combo draws that can call jacks. Uh I I don't like the turn sizing. We just go for big blinds again. Also keep in mind that a lot of kingx on this flush draw ball with these stacks going to be raising on the flop.
So we're playing against a lot of 8x 3x and hearts flush draws 4x and hearts that we can get value from. So checking is also an option of course. All right. So the barreling out of position I think I should see bet a bit more. I have noticed that I found some spots where I would check way more than I should and then turn river should be high right once we because our range is much stronger. Turn actually second baring should be higher.
But my overall strategy is also exploiting people's tendency not to stab a lot. So if you play a heavy delay betting strategy. So for example here I bet the turn 50% of the 48% of the time after it goes check check flop. XX is check check flop. Check full turn after check check check flop. So I'm out of position. It goes check check flop. And then I check. This is too high. Uh this should be 50. Then I should start bluffing more myself.
So then I should put more of the check fors from the 60% into the betting into the lead turn after check of check verb. So this should be like 5560 and then this is going to be 50. Check call flop check for turn. This is pretty good. Should be around 50. So basically we're out of position. We raise someone calls. They bet. We check call. They bet turn and we fold 50% of the time. This we don't have enough sample. This is for the this check race is for the delayed nodes here.
So this is you see that here uh we skip the cbed and then we fold. So we check fold. There should I mean I know it but like it should be skip C bet check for skip C bet check. I should definitely check race more but also maybe a sample size issue but I keep that an eye check raising more as a prefab aggressor. But again it makes sense because my approach my game plan is people are not stabbing enough. So I'm a bit more careful but definitely keep an eye on this.
This might be a leak to not check race enough there. Uh we have a bit more delay bets here. Uh delay bet river should be over 50. You want to be quite aggressive. I I want to push this more towards 60 to be honest. Bet check bet should also be higher. So we bet the flop check turn bet river. We can we have lots of thin value bets. I think I'm not aggressive enough here. You can by the way also here switch to bet sizes and then you see exactly um where you're never bluffing.
Right here we see the overb always value and then the smaller it gets it's basically never weak and then this 80% is where bluffing the most but obviously also we don't have enough sample here just if you have big big database and you review like four 500k hands or you review your opponents right you can pick any opponent here and completely dissect them you can take the top five top 10 regulars you constantly play you can completely destroy them import the even if your side let's say player GG or any other site that does not allow Huts, you can just download the hand history, import it, filter for your opponent and uh yeah, just completely demolish them.
Delay C bet you also I see a lot of regulars have like 35 40 here which is really really bad. You want to have this over 50. Uh same for delay bet. We want to be very aggressive. Check check check flop plus turn full to real. You see you see how hard it is to defend against that something I already put in off time. So we check, flop, check behind, turn the same, check, check, and then opponent bets on the river. It's very hard to be balanced because at some point you want to start betting your value ends on the turn.
Then you want to bet on the river. But this is the line where it's also really hard to find enough bluffs because most bluffs bet the flop or then bet the turn. So mostly if they check flop and turn, it's just going to be the middle pairs, maybe thin ace high value bet and all of the air being bet earlier. So this should be exploitatively speaking over 60. If you are looking for the best possible GTO score, it should probably be around 50.
Okay. So let's look look a little bit blind versus blind race pot. Um I should definitely fold more on the flop. I already noticed this. I think I reviewed some spots where I thought or easy call on the flop, but actually we fold. So it's probably should be more between 25 and 30. I'm a bit of a calling station here. turn 40% but now the sample becomes a bit skewed so that's not going to be too helpful I think the biggest leak is on the flop here race pot sebetting 40% is fine 60% turn on the higher side but again size not much we can read into here uh also really depends on your pre flop strategy I can see a world where 30% is really good I can see a world where 45 50% is good if you play tighter raising range from the small blind and pre flop small blind and 40% again I think it's really good to play to switch back to a higher race first in from the small bit of people are not three betting enough you see also I have a relatively high fold to three bet should also probably more around 40 but again if I say people are not three betting enough and this is where you have to be consistent so that's why I raise more than what GTO tells me to then your four to three bet should also be higher limb 4 27 pretty decent should be around 30 a little bit on the lower end maybe bit maybe around 30 is better my iso raising from this big is actually quite quite low.
I'm surprised. Could probably definitely raise more trash. And I fold 38% against a limp re-ra, which is fine. Should be between 35. Should be around 35. Again, sample is not that great. Here you see like if we iso, we're going to have a lot of these hands here that we fold against the rer race. I'm just curious maybe this is just iso race and this also continues allins. We see that here it's like all the ISOs and this is race versus slim. for whenever also for three betting um that's why for example you see here I really want to look at non- allin right so this is the three bet total but my non tree betting is like this that's why it's very important consider does this that uh consider allins or not photo squeeze should be relatively high also in theory can I think exploit exploitively speaking even higher so this is when we raise we have a we have a race we we raise we have a collar and then someone squeezes.
So this is you folding or me folding as the initial razor. I think it's fine. And also collar here it's also fine. Overall looks pretty solid. Maybe as the razor can be an inch higher. It just to me perceived that the squeezes are always so value heavy. So yeah, I hope you got a good overview on what kind of stats you would be looking for and the range of where I would say, hey, this looks pretty good. So you can compare with your own stats.
If you might have complete outliers, if there are certain stats that you're interested in, it's like, "Hey, Ben, what about these stats that might I might have not considered or I forgot to review?" Drop it in the comments. I can do a second part and we can look into some more stats in in detail. If you want to sign up with Henel, don't forget code bencb.
