Hey, what's good? I'm Osma Calvia. What's good? This video is transboard. Transboard. Transboard. It's this skateboard right there. Now, this video is going to be me repainting the skateboard. Oops. Hold on. That part in the back. So, the rest of it unpainted. This circle, wait, it's a little too bright the light. But this circle is uh where a sticker used to be that I already took off. But in this video, I'm going to repaint that section.

So, first, however, I got to go get my supplies, which are over that way in my other vehicle, my magic carpet out that way. So, here we go. I'm going to have to break this video up into different parts because right now the camera is um running out of battery. So, the battery low symbol is on on my on my screen of for this camera. I'm showing you my finger pointing at the camera. Okay, so that's not my magic carpet. My magic carpet's up.

[snorts] The heck are these things? Okay. Little like uh pebble type something's right here. Anyway, okay. Got to keep going because I am going to make the rest of this video up at this up at that light. So, uh right there over there is the vehicle. Okay. Ah, more of these like um pebble things. Okay. So, this is the project. This is the purpose of the this video that I'm making. I'm going to Hold on. Whoa. Check that out.

Hold up. Can you see that? I was going to say I'm going to I was just going to explain the format of this video that I'm going to be making this video in a series, but then and that's a that's a cricket over there. Hi. Hey. What's good? Have you heard of humanism? Hi. Okay. Anyway, um so yeah, we're out here. Hold on. Zoom out there. [snorts] There's the magic carpet. That's where the supplies are. Uh that's further down the road.

That's the board. I was trying to point, but I was holding the flashlight. Okay, that's the board. Uh, the battery on the camera is running low, so [sighs] I'm going to change the battery here. But for this for the rest of this moment in this video or in this part of what will be the um the trans board video I am going to [sighs] just briefly explain the project. So, the skateboard [snorts] is painted like this ever since I got it.

And I've had this for many years. And I've always kind of wanted to repaint this section cuz they've only painted this uh back third or so of the board. Now, my plan for this video is I'm going to take the trucks off that are those are these pieces of metal with that hold the wheels. I'm going to take these off and then I'm just going to have the deck, just the board. Then I'm going to mask off two sides of the existing paint and I'm going to keep the outer two sides.

And then I'm going to try to heat up with a torch and then scrape with a paint scraper piece of steel that has a funny shape to it. You can scrape stuff with it. I'm going to try to scrape the center of all of this paint off. And then I'm going to sand it, but try to clean it a little bit. And then I brought spray paint and this clear [snorts] gloss paint stuff that'll be sprayed on top of it to seal it in. I've got two colors [snorts] or two I've got, you know, cuz cuz white is like a mixture of all colors, but I have white and pink.

So, I'm going to do a white base layer and then going to do two pink stripes along the back here. And then I'm going to sign it. And oh, also don't let me I don't want to forget. I want to put the sigil underneath each truck. So by the end of this video, I will attempt to have painted repainted part of this board and signed it. But for this section of the video, I have to end it because the battery is running low. So I need to go get a new battery and Is this video still going?

Yes. Okay, good. Yeah, I hope you were able to see the board part of it. But yeah, this video uh typically my videos last 20 minutes at a time because my camera can only record for 20 minutes at a time. But when the battery runs low, I try to end the video so the so that I know where the video is ending so I can carry on. [sighs] Um, so yeah. So for this video as I've finished introducing kind of the the greater video which will be edited together from all the videos that I shoot out here in one take each video I will yeah I will [sighs] try to start them and end them immediately after each other.

Um, this video I'm gonna end. It's a little over eight minutes, but I'm gonna actually I'll walk over to where I have the batteries and then so leave the board here and going to get the supplies. Um, so yeah, [laughter] hold up. Okie dokie. [snorts] So, yeah, this is what we're working with. We've got a um and again, okay, so it's Yeah, it's been like 8 minutes into this video. I kind of got distracted as I was telling you about um [snorts] as I was telling you about how you say the um the battery running out on this camera right now.

So down here I've got more batteries and I'm going to switch the battery and then start this project. So, bye. Okie dokie. All right. So, yeah. Hey, what's good? Now, this segment should be a full 20 minutes. I'm going to collect the supplies. I'm going to show you the supplies and then I'm going to go back over to uh the board and start this project. So, what's good? I'm Osma Califa. I guess I I won't need to keep introducing myself because I'm going to edit these videos, these shots into one video.

And so [sighs] I'm just going to take my time. Going to get through it because I want to get through it. I want to do the do the job right. I want to paint this board and do a good job. So it Yeah. Anyway, so I won't keep introducing myself. I'll just keep making videos until I finish this project. I've got 19 or 18 minutes 57 seconds. Okay. [snorts] Left in this shot. So, I've got the bag of safety gear, sandpaper, and spray paint and gloss paint.

And um what else is in here? Yeah, it's a mask and and spray paint and goggles and sandpaper. Um that's my different uh this is my technology box actually. See underneath there is my tech technology box. Okay. I don't know why I'm trying to show you. Anyway, [laughter] here's my um I guess it's like my art box. Um I've got a bunch of other stuff in there. Oh, I have to actually now that I think of it. Hold on. So, okay.

No, I should show show you as much as I can. Okay. [snorts] So, here is what I was going to try to explain to you in the first segment of this. What is it going to be? This uh transboard uh project video. Um I'll put that in there. Okay. So, can I put this? Hold on. Let me try to There's three settings. There's like medium bright and then really bright and then this setting which is like not as bright and then you kind of um do that.

Okay. [snorts] Here we go. All right. So, yeah, this is some copper. This is what I'm going to use as a heat shield when I am heating up the paint on the skateboard. I'm heating up the paint because I am going to use this thing. It's like a It's a piece of metal. It's kind of sharp here and it's for paint paint scraping. So, I'm going to scrape the paint off with that. But first, I'm going to use this torch. I'm going to use this lighter to light this torch.

And then I'm going to use the piece of copper. This this is the from the piece of copper that I put at the bottom of Alo's pot. Just a reference to one of my older videos. Um yeah, this is at the bottom of Alo's pot in the potting one up for Bill video. That's this is where I got that piece of copper from that. I was originally going to try to uh patch the Anyway, uh different video, different project. I'm not going to be using this part, but this part of the um put that.

So, yeah, this part of this project or this project is using this part of the scrap copper metal that I have, which is right here. And this is going to be what I use to I'll I'll get to it, but I'm I'm just kind of like going through the different pieces now. But yeah, this is going to be the heat shield so I don't burn this the paint that I'm trying to save. So anyway, let's put that. Sorry, I'm I'm trying to like see what I'm doing, but then I'm trying to check the camera also to make sure that I'm giving you a good visual.

See, I I just I just wasn't again. Hold on. Sorry. Let me try to I'm going to try to hold the camera. Here we go. Okay. So So now I'm holding the camera and the whatchamacallit at the same time. The flashlight at the same time. All right. So now let me put the heat shield into the bag. Uh yeah, this is just another scrap piece. I was thinking of maybe trying to put some copper somehow onto the skateboard, but I'm not going to do that in this video.

This video is just painting and like sealing in the the deck and then that could be a maybe it's something else. But but don't get distracted here because I am trying to um God, I'm I'm getting distracted here between the two things. Okay, I'm actually going to I'm going to pocket Hold on. I'm going to pocket the knife and the lighter because I don't want to lose them in the bag and then put the paint scraper back in the bag.

Okay, still got 14 minutes left in this segment of the video, but I need to stop referencing the time of each video because I'm planning to edit all the sections into one big video [sighs] in the in the hopes that that will let me I was trying I was going to try to speedrun this video and do it all in 20 minutes just in one video, but not going to do that. Okay, so what's good? My name is Osma Calipia and this is Transboard a video about [snorts] repainting this skateboard. So, [sighs] at this point in this video, it's already been over 20 minutes. So, initially, I was going to try to make this into just a 20-minute video, but now I'm making it into a series of shots, but I'm doing it all sequentially, and I'm going to take it shot after shot, and it's all going to be in one take shots.

So yeah, finally got to the point of having the supplies being ready to begin. So let me see. Hold on. Let me put this right there for right now. Okie dokie. Hey, what's Good. We're out here. We out here painting the freaking board. So, here we go. The first things first, that's taking the trucks off. But honestly, I need to find the tool. I had to get a new um it's called a T tea tool or a T tea wrench. It's for taking the trucks off these metal pieces off of the skateboard.

So, yeah. Let me a lot of stuff out here. It's going to be a project and that's why doing it in unlimited takes, okay? Or unlimited shots. I'm I'm not trying to speedrun this. I'm going to just take as long as I need. So, here is the uh T wrench or T t uh what whatever it's called. It's it's a it's a it's a specific tool for taking the trucks off a skateboard. Anyway, okay. I was going to try to maybe see if I could Oh, no.

That doesn't work. Wait, hold on. Ah, no, that doesn't work. Okay, let me try putting it. I'm not going to go out here and buy a headlamp, girl. I got I got this thing. [laughter] Okay, so got the got the tool here. going to now begin the process. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hello. What's good? Can you see that? Okay. Can you Okay, you should be able to see that. So, I only really need to take this part off because I was only going to repaint um part of this, but I'm going to take both off because like I said, I want to remember to draw a sigil, the sigil underneath each truck.

So, here we go. Uh this is brand new. I had to buy a new one because I lost my original. Um, what you do is you use this piece to hold these screws. And then, can you see that? And then when you're holding that, you It's been a minute since I've done this, but you use this tool to unlock each of these screws or take each of these um whatchamacallits out of here. So, I don't have like a specific place to put all of this, but it's taking a while.

Hello. Can you please hold on to you need to make sure that you're actually holding the screw in the back. So yeah, this is why I didn't want to make this in one 20 minute video, this transboard uh project video thing because I was as I was setting up and getting started, I was realizing that it's going to take a long time for each stage of the project. Dang it. Okay. Okay. Got G got that on. Okay. So, I'm going to put these.

Where am I going to put them? Have keys in that pocket. Um I'll put them [sighs and gasps] put them in here. Okay. Okay. So, yeah. Um the See, I wanted to make this video faster. I should have perhaps gotten like a power drill or something. to um to do this faster. And I could have done that and actually do have a power drill in the in the magic carpet. But I mean, what's what's the rush? Because like I said, this is already going to be a long video.

And I mean I could I could just post each of them as a separate video because I mean that wouldn't be the worst thing. It's not going to make very much sense, but at least then uh perhaps people wouldn't get bored. You know, I don't want people to get bored in in my video. I want to have a fun, engaging video so that people actually watch it. But as it turns out, people only watch my really short videos. My highest viewed video is the is the welcome to Treasure Island video, and it's got like over 300 views at this point. almost 400 views, but [sighs] it's a two-minute video and it was like just a quick video that I and you know, anyway, I think that there are hopefully some people out there in the world who would appreciate a just I mean, I could I guess edit the video, but my whole philosophy is one take and is one take.

One take. That was silly. So, I I kind of do need to like maintain that because it's part of my mission statement and it's what I love about this whole project most is like doing it in one take and not not having to stress about the the editing the editing of it. So, yeah. Um, anyway, here I go. Taking off the first truck. Oops. Little bit of sand in the in the truck. Is this thing still on? Okay. Oh, there's only 30 seconds left in this video.

So, okay. So, after this video ends, I'll take off the next truck. I'm I'm going to try to go faster after this section because uh I need to actually finish the project. So, anyway, bye for this shot. Bye for this video, whether I edit it or not. Um, hey, what's good? Okay, this is transport. I just took off the first truck. Now I'm going to take off the second truck. Um, this is a video that is perhaps boring, but [sighs] I say that because I'm at this point I've committed to the idea of editing all of these videos together into one transboard video.

And um yeah, so it might get boring because it's going to be a long video and I can't do anything about your attention span, but I'm just going to do this project and make a video about it. Be Oscalifa and yeah, carry on with this project. So, taking off the second truck. After this, I'm going to start [snorts] taping masking off the or no, I'm going to first measure and then I'm going to start taping and masking off the paint that I want to save on the ah on the on the back end of the of here.

I'm I'm essentially going to save the Hold on. I'm essentially going to save uh the two outer strips of the paint, but then I'm going to heat up and scrape off the center and repaint with white on the base and then pink stripes on the edges by the blue. Okay. So, yeah, got that board off, but not board. Got that whatchamacallit truck. Got that truck off. Now, taking this truck off because while I'm not actually going to paint um this part of the board, I'm going to leave it as unpainted as it is.

But I am planning to whatchamacallit draw the sigil underneath the um whatchamacallit underneath the truck. So anyway, this is a series of one take videos. I am a human being. Hello. I am known as Osma Calipia. This [snorts] is a Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, year 80. SE This is what I should have been doing. I should have been reattaching them. But I've just been putting them all kind of loose into the freaking But this time I left the screws in so that the first time I took the first truck off it I took all the screws out and then it it fell on the last screw and was like dangling.

So, this time left those two screws in to stabilize it while I take off the final um whatchamacallit, [snorts] you know, what whatchamacallit the catch all word for for the thing that you don't know what to call it. Okay. Okay, so we're getting there. Now we just got to pop those things out. Can you see that? Still okay. Okay, this time try to not let it fall down into the sand like I did on the first truck. Oh, hello.

Hello. this little critter. Okay, so yeah, got these pieces uh pieces of plastic that are buffers from the I think I was researching it and I think it's magnesium. this metal lighter than aluminum. So, it's primed for skateboards because you want light trucks on your board so that you can, you know, skate. Anyway, so we got that truck taken off. Oops. We got that truck taken off and we got these trucks over here. Hello.

Are you still Are you still recording? Okay, cool. Like six Okay, 6 minutes almost. So, yeah, there's the trucks. Took them off and [snorts] Here's [snorts] the board, the the deck you would call it. So, now begins the process of this the the actual work of this project. So, I'm going to maybe set you up a little bit further back, but then I'll bring you back in closer so that you can see up closer. Um, I'm going to put Where did I put the the back part of the um the whatchamacallit of the whatchamacallit?

I'm looking for the um screw that goes that I was just using as part of this thing. Oh, did I put it in my H? I put it into my where I was putting the [snorts] the the things. But now I'll put that back in there because I will need this again to put the trucks back on because I'm going to keep on skating with this board. But I'm repainting it because [snorts] everything in my life, everything in the universe has led up to this moment.

From the Big Bang until now, everything has led up to this video. Okay, so hi. I'm going to first get the gear out. I've got these goggles. I've got this respirator mask. Um, it's because I'm going to be using spray paints and I'm also going to be heating up paints that's already on the board and that'll be heating up epoxy and paint and releasing a bunch of chemicals that are terrible for you if you breathe it in in that aerosolized state.

So, I'm going to be wearing this respirator as well as these safety goggles to protect myself from the dangers of this project. And also got the paint. I'll get the paint and stuff out after I open up this safety gear. So, hold on. Let me bring you up here. Hello. So, yeah, here we go. Let's unbox a a safety a safety gear thing. Okay. I'm going to be using the utility knife and maybe opening The safety goggles. What's good?

Okay. Brand new. Osma is sparing no expense on this video. Self-funded out here. We got the funding. All right. So, anyway, got that going. I'm I'm going to put it on once I'm ready to actually um how you say start the start the process. [snorts] Um let me now open this up. I no longer need the utility knife. So put that away. Um this thing. Oh, darn it. Well, go figure. I did need the utility knife again. Now we can put it away.

So, so there's um filters that are separate and then there is the actual part that goes over your face, the the respirator. So, ah, this is me trying to use this freaking flashlight clipped into my freaking beanie hat. Okay. Okie dokie. So, let's just [snorts] put that back into the bag here.

And oh, this is zippered. So, I can just take that out. Instructional instructional materials here. Paper. Don't need that at the moment, though. Thank you. So, [snorts] yeah. Here we go. It's um How does it work? Wish I had instructions with this. [snorts] Okay, so I think that's um girl. I tell you what, I What the heck? I've never used one of these things before, so I'm I I don't I don't I don't know how it I don't know how it it works.

I just tangled it up. What? What am I doing? [snorts] Okay, so I'm gonna guess that this goes over the back part of your head and then this part kind of Oh, this part Oh, this part like latches in behind you and then you can kind of Oh, okay. So this part latches in and then you can then you can pull it to tighten it up. Okay, cool. So this part will go over the face. Um and then this thing goes back there. Okay. So, I'm going to get finish getting the rest of the stuff set up for the this process of the burning and then after I finish unboxing um this stuff because I still have to take this open this bag.

Wait, is this video still Okay, still 6 minutes left or so in this video. All right, so I'm going to open this thing. These are just the filters. Okay. So, you got to put these things onto the respirator. Hello. Respirator. Um, is there like a How you put those on? Oops. Did I tell you this is my first time using a respirator mask? I don't typically like paint or using spray paints. So, I don't normally and I don't normally burn paint.

So, this video is kind of a special um situation. I'm trying to it Okay, that's not working. Do I have to take that off? No, no, no. I should probably leave that. I was going almost going to take that off, but I think I just need to That's like a sealer probably. All right. So, I have to I have to twist it. Just twist it that way. Okay. Okay. So, put it like that. Darn it. Sorry. This video is going to be so boring. But I figured I would just make the the long video because I mean [sighs] what else?

What else am I going to I mean getting flustered. Okay, let me get the instructions out here. Okay, so that's um like a certificate. This is the half face piece respirator. But how you put the filters on though? Okay. Darn it. Inhalation valve gasket. Oh. Oh. Oh. Here we go. Here we go. Okay. Uh, figure 18, figure four, figure 13, figure 14. Go back through the figures. Okay. So, you put them on. Oh, they have to kind of turn.

Oh, they have to turn side. Can you see that? They have to turn sideways. Okay. Well, hell, go figure. Read the instructions. They'll show you the figures and then and then what do you know? Okay. So, it was But then still, but I think the seal is important because it was saying when you replace it, you need to put the seal back on. All right. So, this goes. There we go. Okay. There we Okay, that Okay, we got it. We're going to be safe out here now.

They got a instructional, too. Put that back in there. And then this one was the reverse. So, it was I did that one up that Darn it. Let me just try to wing it here. Okay, see that worked now that I the right direction. All right, so that's what's good. We got the whatchamacallit respirator. Now I just have to figure out how this head strap thing works. It probably works like that, maybe. Okay, there we go. I got it.

We'll do the respirator. We'll do the goggles and then we will do the torch. Can you see that? So, going to use the torch to heat up and scrape the paint. But like I've said before in what is becoming a long video, I have to well I'm using this to how you say as a heat shield. But first, I need to measure when I I'm gonna use this as the heat shield for when I'm actually ready to heat up and then scrape the paint. So, I'm going to heat it, heat it a little bit, and then scrape it.

Heat it a little bit and then scrape it. Heat it a little bit, etc. and but I want to measure it first. Oh, that's what I need to get from the from the vehicle. Okay, so we're going to do a a brief run over to hold on. Hey, what's good? the last segment, the last shot ended and I wasn't paying attention. So, wherever that previous shot left off, at this point in the project, I am getting ready to mask off, which is to put some tape and then measure where I'm going to scrape the paint.

And then um and then I'm going to torch and use a paint scraper and safety gear to protect myself from fumes. And then I'm going to scrape off some paint, sand it with some sandpaper and some other sandpaper. And then I'll try to repaint with some fresh paint. But for right now, I need to go and get a measurement device. So, got the got the keys here. Darn it. Okie dokie. So, I need that was the last thing that I needed.

Okay, this thing. Yeah. Okay, so got that. Okay, we good. Okay. Okie dokie. So, how am I going to show you this? I'll go over here. Let me put you Okay. Put the keys away. Now going to be using Do I have a Do I have a pen over here I can use? Should have brought a pencil, but I do have the paint pens still. Oh well, what I could actually do is mark it with um with the scraping. First though, I'm going to get other piece of sandpaper out so it's ready.

Okay. >> [snorts] [sighs] [snorts] >> Okie dokie. So, excuse me. Sorry. Okay. Trying to place you so that I can kind of see what you're seeing, too. Okay, that didn't work. [clears throat] Is that working? Trying to use the autofocus, but it's not um it's not effective. Anyway, so I'm going to be Don't drop my glasses. [snorts] I'm going to be Okay, put those back on my hat so I can see better. going to be measuring this and trying to keep semi even lines on either side of the board of the original paint.

And then I'm scraping off the center and repainting the center. But going to look at this tool here. Going to start going to maybe it's it's not an even um edge. So I'm going to have to just kind of not think too much about it. But here I am thinking about it. So anyway, at this point, it's about 8 and 1/2 in. So, I'm going to just pull that so that I have 8 and 1/4 in on roughly on either side. And then I'm going to think about this.

I'm going to want maybe an inch and a half on each side, an inch and 3/4. And then going to want it. How much? Like that's that's 2 in. And then and then that didn't work. Okay. Well, maybe I'll try to do that. Maybe I'll just do two for the center stripe, two for the outer stripe, and then Well, but then that doesn't really work. I'll I'll try to do an inch inch and a half. Okay. [snorts] So, we got 8 point. got eight points which I would call it.

I'm not I'm not a mathematician. [laughter] Just so you're aware if you're not. Okay. The point of this is scoring lines so that I can then I mean the problem here this isn't lining up with the center the math is not or is it yeah roughly eight I should have measured anyway okay So just okay here a second ago I say don't I'm not going to think about it too much and now I'm out here freaking thinking okay that's I mean if I just eyeball the center at or just doesn't just looks like it's kind of going over.

Okay. So, going to do the center at four. roughly. [snorts] And then going to do the edges for the central stripe there. And then going to do well. Guess I'll just do one more. The heck? Wait. Oh, wait. No, I needed to do cuz the center is going to be two. So, I need to do out here. I shouldn't. [snorts] Yeah. See, this is why I brought the torch because the paint is kind of painted on there pretty good. So, I'm going to do that's the center.

So, I have to do these two as the central line and then up two to here. [snorts] Okay. So, then I need to go down a ways [snorts] to where I'm There's a truck coming. Is this camera still going? Okay. Still got 9 minutes left in this shot. [snorts] So, yeah. Okay. I'm happy. >> [snorts] [snorts] >> That's the central line. Not not handling this knife that we're holding. Oops. [snorts] Oops. Kind of roughly there. Okay.

[snorts] Anyway, [sighs and panting] let's put that four there. Okay. [snorts] Okie dokie. >> [snorts] >> Yeah, I'm getting quiet in this part of the video. I'm I'm I'm focused [snorts] and I need to finish quickly because I only have so much uh battery power and whatnot. for the camera. [snorts] Okay. And then put that. Can you see that? You know what I might do? I might Well, if I go from there to If I go from here to there, I'm only going to have this [snorts] outer edge.

I was thinking of going in a little bit and then making it kind of, [snorts] but then that complicates the the paint job part of it. I was going to do this and then this and then Okay, so never mind. Um, [snorts] got those sections now. Going to put this away for a moment and change my seat. Put the utility knife away for this moment [snorts] and get out the whatchamacallit the paint scraper. Got a freaking sticker on it.

But I'm putting putting the the [snorts] trash back inside the the bag. I always back out my trash. Take this thing off. That was a funny noise. Dang it. I got I left some of the glue on it. Darn it. Sometimes when I get like leftover glue on something like that, I'll kind of rub a paper towel over it to give it to kind of like get some of those fibers onto it to kind of get the whatchamacallit, the stickiness of the leftover glue kind of covered up.

Okay. But then I'm not going to be actually using a torch. I'm just going to be using this to um to scrape. But it doesn't scrape just by itself because excuse [snorts] me, I'll laugh at my own noises often. I mean, we're we're silly human beings. We make funny noises. You got to got to laugh sometimes cuz the world is so [snorts] crazy sometimes. But yeah, anyway, got some extra gas. So, we're going to try to gas up before we start the the burning process.

Here's the clear coat. I'll put that over there. And then we got um the pink and the white. And that Let me check. Make sure that the camera is still Okay. Yeah, camera's still going. So, just showing you the rest of the supplies here and packing out my stuff. So, now this just has some extra track. Oh, and there's the last paint pen. Okay. Yeah. So, I've got three paint pens also. Black, white, and gold. and got the scraper tool.

Going [snorts] to be using some nitrial gloves [snorts] to protect myself. Well, I'm going to maybe I won't use these until I start painting, but [snorts] for right now, I'm going to finish opening this um masking tape. But mind you, I'm going Darn it. Okay, mind you, this is this is trash, too. I'm packing that out. Okay, mind you, I am using this piece of copper sheet as a heat shield, but I am going to also put [snorts] down the masking tape to just keep myself reminded of the lines.

I was going to try to get thermal tape, but could [snorts] not find that. So, I'm going to be using this masking tape to uh mask off the the paint that I want to keep because I'm keeping a strip on each edge. Excuse me. [snorts] Okay. [snorts] Okay. So, here we go. >> [snorts] >> Nothing is ever perfect in life. So, you kind of just got to go for it and try to correct if you make a mistake, but know that you'll always make mistakes.

And that's okay because that's natural. All right. So, I guess that's all I'm going to keep of the original paint. Might take a while to scrape all this paint off, but we'll give it a shot. Okay. I mean, it's not even part of the protection. the the paint really should be done [snorts] after the initial scrape, but this is just kind of a more than anything just to mark where I'm going to [clears throat] [snorts] be what you call it.

Hi. So, a little bit farther along. [snorts] Okay, here we go. [snorts] Going to be using this to heat shield this. Hi. So, can you see that? Okay. [snorts] Um, how am I going to do this? I'm [snorts] getting ready to put on the safety gear of this [snorts] project. So, I'm going to be using a [snorts] how you say respirator. So, [snorts] this part is going to go over here. And then [snorts] this part is going to unhook and then wrap around the back. This is because I'm going to be heating up the paint to be able to scrape it.

Hold on. This is going to need to adjust. Oh, the straps are right here. So, okay. Wait, one more breath of fresh [sighs] fresh air before I get into um this thing. Okay, so now I attach this part back here. Okay, make sure that the seal is okay. Hey, what's good? I'm Osma Calipia wearing a respirator and got the safety goggles, too. Um, we still got the microphone. We still got the camera. We still got [snorts] the glasses.

All right, girl. And then we got the beanie with the makeshift uh lamp on the top. All right, girl. Let's get it. Um here we go. Always wear safety gear and always pack out your trash. I am Osma Calipia and this is a torch and this is a lighter now. That's good. Oh, shoot. Okay. All right. Okay. So, the strategy is from my [clears throat] I hope this works to heat it up a little bit. Oh Oh Okay, we're kind of working.

Okay. Um, I'm going to get my trash bag. get like a piece of that. [snorts] Okay. Try to Didn't plan that out well. It's a little too windy for all this. Okay. Is this uh camera still going? Oh, so the battery is getting low. So, I'll need to switch the battery, but I've got extra batteries. What's good? I am just starting with the experiment here of using a torch to heat up the paint and then screw the paint. It's working so far and I am going to carry on with that.

So, there's still um a minute left. So, I'm going to do one more minute of scraping and then I'm going to change the battery and keep on doing it uh with you in the seeing the video. Okay. Heat. But for this video, I or for this segment, I still have a little less than 2 minutes.

But there's apparently 15 minutes left in the video. I need to be quick because I don't think I have other battery. So hopefully this video is able to um finish at least this part.

I won't have to come back next week or something. Okay. So, so there is a flat edge right here. This is going to be something of a challenge. Can you see that? Can you see that? So, yeah. The goal is to have that there and then Okay, that's not That's not going to work. Okay, I'm just going to I'm just going to go for it because Dang it. It's not as It's not as clean. It's not working very well. Let me try to um let me try to put the the board down on the ground and then Okay.

Okay. So, yeah, it would have been a lot better to have heat tape. Okay. I wonder if I if I burn the tape if it would really be that bad. I'm going to put these gloves on. Oh, there's there's like people over there that have just showed up. Yeah, I'm not the only one out here past midnight. There's there's a whole world of people exploring the world at night time. Okay. So, maybe if I hold it like this. Yeah, maybe if I maybe if I maybe if I bend it kind of roughly.

Okay. Okay, that's not quite working. that might be making it worse, but Okie dokie. Oh, it go there. Well, that that's why I didn't want to wear gloves. Hold on. I knew I had a good reason for that. Packing out my trash. Um, yeah, I I knew I wasn't wearing gloves for a reason. But I had forgotten it was because I don't want to burn them on my on my hand cuz then I get melted plastic on my skin rather than just [snorts] uh minor burns aren't as big of a deal.

So, okay. Darn it. This is not This is not a good setup. I might just try to like go for it without the without the heat shield. I'm going to try to get the heat shield to work. See, I just lost it, bro. I might fail this project. because I might not have enough time to freaking figure this out and do it all together. I didn't do enough trial assembly for this. Oh, heat motion heat. Yeah, this this system is not working.

So, I'm just going to try to eyeball it. The heat shield system is not working. I knew I should have gotten the heat tape, but I just I couldn't find it in time. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Okay. Five minutes. Okay. It's the one. Woo! Yeah! Heat. Heat. Wow. Heat. Okay. It's not going to be perfect, but we're going to try to get there. Okay. Heat. [laughter] Heat. Heat. Woo! Heat! Heat. Hey, what's good? So, the board is cleaned, sanded, remove the paint.

We got to go quickly now because we have to make do with the battery life that we have. So I'm here and and I'm clear and we finish this part of it and put this stuff back in the bag here. Now we have to finish with the paint. So clear coat for after uh white for base and then pink for the rest. So uh we have to take this off. We have to pop that off. And then we have to How do you do this? And you have to Someone told me that you have to do something with this.

How do you? Ah Okay. Okay. That's okay. That I don't know if that's any any healthier of a isopropyl, but okay. Okay. So, that's okay. Okay. So, now I need two gloves. I still got protected from paint chemicals. And I still have my respirator and safety goggles out here. Ow, they're uncomfortable. And I got the glasses on the inside, too. So, yeah. So, here we go. Okay. I'm going to just uh set this up like so. Okay.

Fine. I'm going to try to be faster at this point, okay? Because This battery life won't last forever. Okay. Okay. So, here we go. Okay. Okay. So, going to spray paint first with the white paint base layer. Oh, wait. I need to also go back into the bag and find I got this. But I also need Where did I put you? Oh, here it is. Here it is. The tape. Okay. So, so here we go. Okay. Spend forever on this. I can't see where Okay.

It's not going to be perfect, but it's going to we're going to try to get it done. You see that? Okay. Here we go. Okay, I got a little bit there. Hey, ow. Peep. [clears throat] Good. Where's the Where's the cap for this thing? You still uh Okay. Can you still get a good view of that? Okay. So, with the pink, the plan is to try to use this thing as the cover. But for right now, I'm just letting that base coat dry. And um yeah, I could try to find uh [snorts] how you say the um how you say the other pieces.

Um I don't know what happened to the lid for this one. Um I'm not I'm not inhaling the paint fumes. I got all this safety gear and whatnot. Oh, here it is. Here it is. Found it. Okay. Okay. Is that okay? Oh, that's just Yeah, that's just a natural part of the the [snorts] mess of this setup here. Okay. So, it's getting close to drying. I just need it to dry just enough so that when I place this piece over top of it, it won't um mess up the paint because I'm trying to keep a center stripe of the white, but then I'm going to use the um I'm going to use the pink as the side stripes.

So, it's not quite dry yet. It's um it's getting there. Oh, sorry. It's getting Oh, sorry. It's getting there, but it's not quite ready. But it's one good thing about it being a windy night is that it is drying faster than if it weren't on a windy night. So, all right. So, I'm going to put that this paint away. The pink is ready. It's just a matter of waiting a little bit longer for this board to dry. [sighs] So, it's almost there.

It's not there yet. Okie dokie. How much time in this video? There's only 10 minutes left in um in this shot. So, hey, what's good? I'm Austin Calipia. I am part partway through with the transboard, my skateboard repainting project. So, we're getting there. It's almost ready. It's just a matter of waiting for the paint to dry. You can't really speed that up, but you can shake shake it around a little bit. You can hope that the wind stays as vibrant as it is right now.

[snorts] Is that the right word for wind? Vibrant as a as gustful. It's still slightly wet there, but it's kind of dried in the center. Yeah. And then once I'm finished with this part, I can peel the paint up. And there's the original paint on the edges. But then um Yeah. Oh, what's good? I'm Osma. I am waiting for paint to dry. Hi. I'm You might be not be able to see it, but I'm smiling underneath this respirator. [laughter] And um yeah, we all get out here.

Uh got the paint and uh got the drying paint. No, wait. Is that okay? Just a little piece of liquid. Uh-oh. I got a little piece of paper towel here. Was that a bubble? It was a little bubble of liquid. It might be raining right now or at the very least it's um a little bit foggy out here. So, I'm just going to I think at this point go for it. It looks like the center is dry enough, but then I think if I if it's not dry on the edges, it might not work so well in terms of the paint adhering to the uh thing.

But I don't know how much time left in the about 7 minutes. Okay. [snorts] Um, yeah. So, what's good? Hi. I'm waiting for paint to dry, but I'm getting this paint ready. And since it's just about ready, And since I'm just about ready to put this thing in, I want to use clean [snorts] it off. Okay. So, here we go. Can you see that? Yeah. Okay. Okie dokie. Here goes something. You're supposed to Okay. [snorts] Okay. There we go.

It's working. Okay. Okay. my freaking hair back. Okay. Okie dokie. I really need to do is like hold it like that, but it's going to be a little bit messy. Here we go. [snorts] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Secret. Sweep it. Is that Hey, it kind of worked. All right. It kind of worked. Okay, so 3 minutes left in this video. The last thing I have to do is Well, I'm going to put this cap back on. And then I have to do this clear coat cuz I want to try to preserve it.

But one thing I can do this All right. Okay. That's not perfect, but that's the sigil. Can you see that? Okay. It's not It's not perfect. Sorry if you missed that. But it's not perfect, but that's the sigil. It's just a grounding tool based in science, girl. Here we go. So, as that dries, the next step is this clear coat, which will seal in the paint. So, we're almost there. We almost got it. We're getting there. And um how much time?

Okay, so I'm just going to finish um before I put the final uh seal coat on, I'm going to do another sigil up here. And can you see that? So, I'm going to do one more sigil. Like I said, I was going to do a sigil under each of the um under each of the uh trucks. So, Okay, not perfect again, but I just wanted to have a sigil under the trucks. So, it does not have to be geometrically exact. There is no test for drawing the sigil.

Well, besides just following the basic instructions, but there is no geometrical there's there's this isn't a geometry class anyway. So, let's go to Mosaia. We're almost done with the transport. Hey, hey, hey. What's good? I'm Osma Calipia and I am almost done with this project. It's going to be a long time editing to u mind you every shot is one take. So I'm staying with my mission of doing one take videos but I'm going to edit them all together anyway.

I finished with the majority of the process here, but the next step is to put a clear coat to try to seal in the new paints on the skateboard here. So, I'm just going to try to set you up here with the view of the process here. Ow. Okay. Darn it. It keeps falling. I need to put you a little bit further back here. I s you up a little bit back. Okay. Stay stay right there. Okay. So I think that we are pretty much there.

[snorts] Um just need to put some hair back and then we're going to carry on with the project here. So the clear coat apparently is what is going to help to preserve the paint on the bottom of this board. I've let it dry now for a few minutes and I think that that's enough time, but we'll see. And maybe if this lasts a couple years, we'll see how that turns out. But anyway, I am going to put on the final layer here and seal in the paint.

So, here we go. You got to you got to shake it. Part of the process. Okay. So, how do you how do you do this? Oh, okay. There's a there's a there's a way to do it. You have to Oh, no. It's already Okay. All right. Let's get it. Um, okay. Okay. Here we go. Sh. Super. Okie dokie. I think that's all there is to it. Right on. Oh, shoot. The sigil is blurring a little bit. That's okay. It's still there. [snorts] I perhaps should have waited to draw the sigil until after I finished painting and dried it and stuff, but this the truck is going to go on top of this anyway.

So, it's just a little thing so that I can kind of think about it and remember that there's a sigil underneath there. See this one will go cover up that sigil too. Oh yeah. Okay. So that is that is it that is what has become the transport. my newly repainted skateboard. What's good? Hey, what's good? I'm Osma Califa. This is my newly painted skateboard. This video I am going to title transboard and it's titled after this.

So yeah, um the last step is to take off uh the clear coat is almost seal. It's getting there. Or it's almost dried, I mean. So, the last step is to take off the tape and to show you the full color of it all. Um, I'll just do that now. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Um, okay. So, here we go. [snorts] Here we go. Now I have a trash bag right here and I am packing out all of my trash, of course. Okay, I got a little bit of paint up there, but what are you gonna do?
