How to Farm Any Flawless Horadric Gem in less than 1 Hour - Season 14 - Diablo 4 (FIXED) transcript

Hi guys, this is Slither here, and in this video, I'm going to show you how you can get a flawless Horadric Gem in less than 1 hour. This is what I started with at the beginning of the hour, and this is what I ended up with at the end of the farm. This is, of course, utilizing the current very best farm in the game, and if you want to try it out, I suggest trying it out really fast because it might get hot-fixed very, very soon.

So, right after I made my video about what I think is the best farm, I decided to try it out for myself, and my goal was to get a flawless Horadric Amethyst as fast as possible because I wanted some shadow resistance in my gear.

So, as you can see, I started off with almost zero Amethyst fragments, and I wanted to get a total of 25 million fragments, which translates into 25 grand gems, and then into 25 Horadric gems, and then one single flawless Horadric Gem. I decided to time my progress. You can see the timer at the bottom left of the screen. First of all, you will definitely need the branching pathways node in the nightmare dungeon section of the war plan, so you are able to select which type of affixes your escalating nightmare dungeons and the layers inside these dungeons will have.

Next, start running through escalating nightmare dungeons, and the first two dungeons don't matter. So, you can select whichever affixes you want for the first two dungeon, but at the end of the second dungeon, you have some options. When selecting affixes for the third dungeon, you are looking for your specific type of gem reserve. So, in my case, it is amethyst reserve. If you want to farm skulls, then it is skull reserve, and so on and so on.

And also, in addition to that, you are looking for a dark omen affix. This dark omen affix is very important because it can tremendously boost up your future farming efficiency. We will see how. If you don't get these affixes, then you should finish your escalating nightmare dungeon and start a new one and run through it until you get a suitable affix for the third dungeon of the escalation. If you manage to get the right affixes, then congratulations, you won the jackpot.

What you should do is enter the third dungeon of the escalation and open the chests that are there. You should be finding up to 270,000 gem fragments for each chest. And of course, there should be multiple chests on this dungeon. In addition to that, because of the dark omen affix, you're going to be attacked by some kind of boss. Sometimes it's the butcher, sometimes it's Axe Fall. It doesn't really matter. All of them will drop 750,000 gem fragments each time you kill them.

So, 750,000 gem fragments just for killing this additional boss that you will get ambushed by because of the dark omen affix. That's So, that's why we wanted this. Once you are done with this third layer of the nightmare dungeon and opened all the chest and killed the Dark Omen boss, then you cannot kill the end boss of the third layer of the Escalating Nightmare dungeons, rather you should teleport to town. After you have teleported, you should go to a nearby dungeon.

For example, I teleported to Tamas, and now I am going to Seer's Reach. I am deliberately not using any other dungeon inside Tamas because I want my back portal back to the escalation to disappear, because otherwise the trick won't work. So, I'm going into Seer's Reach, entering that dungeon, and after I enter the dungeon, I open my map and switch to the map of Sanctuary, and on the map I'm going to find the Escalating Nightmare dungeon and teleport to it.

Now, I will say that the dungeon you entered, so Seer's Reach in my example, will have the same affixes as the Escalating Nightmare dungeon layer that you just completed. So, there will be a gem reserve affix, there will be a Dark Omen affix. However, I do not recommend clearing this Seer's Reach dungeon because the chests will contain much less gem fragments than the Escalating Nightmare dungeon, and the boss will also drop less gem fragments than the Escalating dungeon.

So, uh it is actually a efficiency loss if you do not immediately teleport back to the Escalating Nightmare dungeon once you've entered Seer's Reach. So, for this reason, in order to maximize your gem fragments per hour, once you've entered this normal dungeon, open your Sanctuary map and teleport back to the Escalating Nightmare dungeon. If you did everything right, then you should teleport to the third layer of the escalating nightmare dungeon.

You should have the same affixes as before and most importantly, this layer should be reset. Therefore, you are able to once again open all the chests each containing up to 270,000 gem fragments on torment 12 and you should also be able to kill the Dark Omen boss dropping 750,000 gem fragments. And once again, you should repeat this over and over again. Once you are done with this dungeon, then teleport back to town.

From town, run around and get into a normal dungeon, for example, Seer's Reach. From Seer's Reach, you can teleport back into the escalation nightmare dungeon and do it over and over again. Going back to my timed farming session, I was able to get 12,500,000 and 500,000 ametist fragments, which is around half of what I need in total in just 17 minutes. I don't think anything like this was possible before, even if somebody perfected their Seer's Reach farm back in the previous season.

And this is why I believe that eventually this farm will get hot fixed because I don't think you are supposed to get a flawless Horadric gem in, let's say, less than an hour. Another important note about this farm is something that you could have already guessed. The most difficult part is actually getting the affixes for the third level of the escalation nightmare dungeon. It can be quite difficult to hit the right gem affix, plus in addition to that, the Dark Omen affix.

So, for that, you will have to run quite a bit of escalating nightmare dungeons, but when you actually manage to hit it, then it really feels good and you can start farming heavily after that. Moreover, I can already see some comments about why am I making the third video about the same farm. Well, first of all, I've already made two videos about this farm, but the first one was about farming layer boss keys with this method and the ruptures effects on the nightmare dungeon, and the second one was about farming materials in general.

I believe that this is the single best farm in the game currently, and the fact that you are able to get a flawless Horadric Gem in less than 1 hour with it is worth its dedicated video. If you disagree, that's fine. You are not obliged to watch it. In the meantime, we are done with the farm. We were able to get over 27 million gem fragments for amethyst in less than 38 minutes, which is crazy. So, we are now using up our forgotten souls and a large chunk of our gold to create a total of 25 grand gems, and after that, we're going to convert these grand gems into Horadric gems and then one single flawless Horadric gem.

I believe that these 38 minutes or so is less than what you will spend on trying to find the correct affixes for your escalating nightmare dungeon third level. I think that requires more time than actually farming the gem itself. Regardless, I'm pretty sure that this is way better than just farming the Seer's Reach over and over again for gems, and this farm can also be used for a bunch of other targets, such as gold, such as obols, such as obducite, and materials, and even layer keys.
