How to Slow WHEELIE at Balance Point, with Rear Brake! (MotoVlog) transcript

what's up 66 family really not a huge kind of video today whatever it's a commonly asked comment in in the comments of a lot of the how-to videos and I figured I'd do it today because I might as well there's two actually there's two big questions I'm gonna leave one for next time because my tire is like literally about to explode I don't know not right there there you go there you go I don't have much life on this tire to do the how to drift video right now but I can do the how to slow VIN slow wheelie video cuz so many people have asked how do you slow down your wheelies how do you arm how do you bring into such a slow type of wheelie and basically it's it's it's the other half of the other half of the problem with with what you're doing wrong and your wheelies it's not that you're you're giving it too much throttle it's that you need to learn the brake control that's all slowing your wheelie down is it's coming to balance point and then coming a little bit past balance point and using the brake properly and then that'll slow it down but you're never gonna be able to slow down your wheelie and control your wheelie um and pretty much you know they have that much better control your wheelie until you learn that rear brake discipline so today not a huge video not as not anything that anyone should be um wanting to learn in the next you know day cuz this does take this does take some time to learn how to how to truly slow down your wheelies you know and I guess I'll get to the three kinds of wheelies and the wheelie positions that I thought of for this video and it's it's essential date you're gonna probably go through these in the same order the first being the power wheelie or you know the wheelie that's chased out so you chasing out a wheelie probably here I can do it it's gonna feel weird because I haven't done in a while but essentially is you popping it off chasing and chasing and chasing and chasing it and running out of gas running out of that gear you know so yeah I was up yeah the front tire is off the ground but um but yeah you're you're essentially you're not you're not where you should be that you can even maintain gas she's learning how they even get there so right now spend as much time as you can as you want on each of these steps of how to control your wheelie better but um and definitely definitely don't push it out of your comfort zone anytime quickly so that's you're chasing out type of wheelie the second kind is balance point this is where I feel um even some stunners you know some stunners get stuck at is is at their balance point and it is it's a it's a great spot to be at this is right there this is you at the same engine rpm you don't even have to be using brake at all but you're there you're not speeding up you're not slowing down you're just at balance point perfect harmony in between you know the the motors rpms and and basically your height of the wheelie so and that's kind of your perfect little harmony is the balance point now the point of this video how do you slow down your wheelies that's gonna involve you coming past balance point like I said before coming past balance point and then slowly applying that rear brake um you could do it with your foot or your handbrake I'm gonna do it with a hand brake just to the purposes of this of this video for you to see how little of brake it actually takes mm-hmm so we're up let's say we get what learn it's like 20 miles an hour roll with bass balance point barely feather that brake feather and feather and feather feather feather and just like that we're down to about two miles an hour and then that's your that's where you want to be four circles so if you don't know how to slow down your wheelies circle is definitely aren't going to come so I guess I should have done this video with with a before how to circle so you're a balance point not using any brake come back a little bit of break a little bit of break a little bit of break a little bit of break and that's it [Music] it's not it's not anything that is mind-blowing it's just coming fast balance point bringing that tire that much farther back well and that's it not a huge deal so I don't want to overthink this video much guys but um if it takes watching that once or twice to get to get it it is what it is I'm not gonna over complicate this because it's just that it's not that complicated it's a mental game of getting past balance point and slowly playing break so you're taking off the gas at the same time - um - huge things I really want to one huge thing the other thing I don't really care about the first thing being the the patrons um I know you guys see the little the little names that go on the side of all my videos I really do want to thank them wow that was high yes good sorry I really do want to thank them for keeping this channel alive cuz with YouTube slowly starting to you know give less and less ad revenue for anything wheely related anything bike related I've talked to a few other creators anyone from dank -
