All right, guys. What's going on? Matty boy here. It is Friday. We are overtime. We need a cool ass beverage. Look at this crazy ass dude. Maybe a little edible, but enough's enough. We've made play reviews. I made a video and something happened. But I want to go over blind man setup. I have two setups I tell everybody they need to learn. Um and and basically we trade these two setups every day. Get money setup is one and the blind man setup is the other.
A little bit different. Get money setup is a breakout trade and blind man setup is more of a uh reversal trade, right? Blind man setup is offering highest R&R multiple highest ROI in theory. Um and you know the whole ideology behind the blind man setup is it's a liquidity sweep, a draw on liquidity and you're looking for reversals. So in theory, we're getting low of day orders. We're getting high of day orders, right?
So we're going to go over a spy trade we took today that went for I think 145%. It was a 1 hour blind man reversal. Right? So blind man reversals. The thing about my setups is it's every time frame. You could use my setups on a 3 minute, a 5 minute, 15 minute, 30 minute, 1 hour, 4 hour, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, right? My setups work on every single time frame. Right? So with that being said, the main compound of the blind man setup is we're looking for a draw on liquidity.
We're looking for a liquidity sweep. So whether that be a 3minut, 5 minute, etc. Right? I like bigger time frames. Bigger time frames, we get bigger moves. Expectations, reality. You got to understand this. When you're on a 3minut, your move might not be impulsive as the weekly or monthly or quarterly, right? So this was a 1 hour blind man setup. And you can see here basic this is today's price action Friday you know March 6.
So markets technically didn't sweep these lows. So we were pretty upset. We wanted longs and they didn't sweep these lows. So I didn't get a probable setup. But they did set up for the highs here. And you can see basically on the 1 hour here we had breakdown retest right around this uh 67590 which is always an area of interest. But the the beauty of this play was we had high of day marked out 676 this second bar high 676 three touches there and then we had one wick over 67611 and then the retest draw here at 67597 right this is on the 1 hour so you always you know I'm marking in multi-time frame analysis you got to be paying attention if you're on the weekly monthly etc daily so this is a one one hour and and we're going to go over five minute 3 minute here because this is no matter where you're finding your draw on liquidity, entries, exits.
We're always watching this smaller time frame, 5 minute, 3 minute specifically. And ideally, when we're taking these blind man setups, we're looking for if we swept low of day, etc. We're looking for the high of day. If we swept high of day, we're looking for low of day. Today didn't necessarily work. We didn't get low of day. Low of day was what? 69, 76. We got 71. But we did sweep the high of day and got this range low area.
Right? So again, the basis of this setup is a draw on liquidity. So no matter what time frame you're on, it needs to sweep the high or low. So if you don't come into a daily high or low, if you don't come into a weekly higher low, that's not a probable setup. Also, I completely forgot. We've got Queen Coco in the building. She's the cutest little thing ever. She is helping us trade. Oh, she's it is sad. I might have woken her up.
But anyways, back to the action, right? So, it's it's about a gerar on liquidity. So, if you don't come into those lows or highs, you don't have a setup. Okay? So, this setup, the one hour high again, we'll go back. Your one hour high setup here, your draw on liquidity. I know it's not much. This is tight. But the draw on liquidity, believe it or not, was here. Okay. 6 676 6710. Part of the reason I love blind man setups so much is it gives us such tight stop losses, right?
I say the best trades are the tightest trades, the closest to your stop loss. Right? I don't want to enter a trade at 676 when my stop loss 672, even if I'm looking for 690. The stop-loss draw down's too much. The best thing about the blind man setup is ideally it is getting to as as close to your stop loss as possible, right? So, we tap here, tap here. This is where the play gets fun, right? We poked a new high and then really put in the shitty reversal and then we played this retest here, right?
And there's multiple ways to play. This is one specific example, right? You could play you could play retest. You could play, this isn't, there's no example here, but a lot of the times you could get a retest with a fair value gap within and I'll give an example of that. You could play the immediately impulse over or under. Right here, we played the retest. Right? We didn't enter here. We didn't enter here. We actually entered this candle, believe it or not.
Right? Realistically, we were looking for 672. We did not get it. Right? That was our prior 1 hour low. If you go here, right? So, so you had these highs, that one hour low at 672, right? And then we had this 67367 where we kind of stopped out. But I wanted this 672 really bad. Didn't end up getting it. We based out at 67 67369, which still a great trade. We we marked it from 676 67367. Like I said, I think these went 150%.
Again, this day stunk on ice, but realistically, you did not break your high. You did not break that setup, which blind man setup was still valid, right? So, no new highs, right? Lowest low, no new high, higher low, no new high, higher low, no new high, right? Something needed to break upside downside. Ended up getting structure shift, broke the three 67375. Finally got our 672. And again, these cons got chewed up, but all in all, I think they went 145%.
But the key here is the liquidity sweep. We swept our 1 hour high. This is a 1 hour BMS. We slept our 1 hour high. Our stop loss was underlying 10 cents, 5 minute reversal, 5m minute reversal, and then we finally took a drop again. I didn't get my full target till end of the day, but still a great trade. 140 145. And again, draw liquidity here. Pokes above, never closed over the draw. And then this was again, we we took the retest here.
I'm going to go over another setup with the fair value gap. We took two days ago SPY 675 calls that went I think 180 200% something like that. It was a get money setup on the weekly and then we played the 5minute fair value gap entry. But again I'm going to rewind the basis of this setup is a draw on liquidity. Right? So that means if you are on the daily time frame, if you are an inside bar, it does not count. You need to sweep the high or the low.
You need to put in a wick, drop on smaller time frames, close under, and get your setup. Okay, so now I'm going to do a blind man setup that we nailed a couple weeks ago and just I'm going to delete some things here just so we don't get confused. And I might need a second to find this setup. Um, I actually might need to go to Discord real quick to find it. Bear with me here. I know it was 675 call. I can't remember. It looks like Bear with me.
I'm just trying to find this trade. Okay, this blind man setup was on 33, so bear with me. And I'm assuming the draw on liquidity was going to be this weekly low 67120. Right, there's the the weekly sweep. So, I'm going to go back to 33 here. I'm going to go to the daily. Just delete some crap. I do a lot of live teaching, so there's a lot of [ __ ] here. Okay. Where was 33? It was this candle. Yep. Okay. So, bigger stop loss on this trade, right?
And I'm going to actually just go to re I'm not the best at replay, so bear with me. Okay. So this trade basically again when you're looking for liquidity it's pretty simple right I want wicks I want it really wicks is what you want to look for right prior highs prior lows right so if I'm watching spy this is a naked chart completely okay I'm deleting everything for you guys here naked chart completely if I'm looking at this chart respectfully we've got a wick here a wick here a wick here and this wick this wick after these wicks we have nothing till 671, right?
You see this 67120. You have nothing till this price. Okay. So now I'm going to click the play button to get this new daily candle. Okay. You have this new daily candle. So from earlier's video, the basis of the blind man setup is a draw on liquidity. It's a prior high, prior low sweep. What did we just do here? And this is actually bigger time frames, right? We just swept a weekly low and wicked. Okay, this is a little bigger stop-loss on this trade, but I'm going to break it down.
This setup is my favorite setup. This is the blind man setup. So, that was the weekly, the daily. You see it here right now on the weekly blind man setup. I'm going to drop down for daily. Okay. Boom. This is really our prior low. And maybe right here you run into some issues. And if this breaks, you probably advance into your prior high here and then up here somewhere, right into these wicks here, which I know I can see the candle.
Okay. So now I'm going to replay this so we can actually get down into this setup. Okay. I'm going to replay one more time. Okay. So I'm going to replay back. Give me one sec. So, we can drop down to smaller time frames. Boom. Boom. This is going to be a blind man setup with a fair value gap. Okay. Again, I am not good at this, so bear with me. Um, I also am not a main trader on T uh Trading View. Okay, cool. So, we don't know what's happening.
We're looking at price action here. We know these daily lows break. You probably get to this daily low here and then the weekly low there. Right over this daily low, weekly low here, daily pri uh daily prior low, prior low. Okay, I'm going to drop down to the 3minut really fast here. And let's see. Okay. Okay. So markets opened a massive gap down. Okay, the gap down we're under daily under daily and and really this weekly, right?
If you can get if you have a three minute five minute again bigger time frames more explosive the lower you can get on the time the higher you can get on the time frame the better the trade. So I'm telling live in this and I'm telling Chad at 675 I'd love to see 67130 tested cuz then you get the weekly sleep sweep and price can advance. Right. So this day we're waiting for this trade setup. We're waiting pretty volatile.
I mean really volatile. We're getting the drop. Getting the drop. Market's down gap down. Massive drop. And the one thing I want to do is long. Okay, so now we're getting to the beauty of the setup. We're getting volatility at our pivot, which is key. Break our pivot. Sets our stop loss. Okay, so now this is the candle that gets interesting, right? And if you go five minute, it's going to be one candle, two candles here, right?
So you draw your liquidity impulse down. Fiveminute candle literally eats up the last two candles. I would love a close over which is key when you're looking three minute five minute you want a close back over but as long as low's protected it's great but again there is multiple ways to play this setup so what I noticed and again I mentioned there's a few different ways to play you could play the immediate pop back over which would have been right here and it would have worked nicely you could play the retest you could play look for fair value gaps within what I loved here was what we had we put in this fair value gap 3 minute five minute fair value gap right above our stop loss and right under our pivot.
So we could have done a breakout retest structure change for a higher low and then a shift up. Right? So this is the setup we had. Okay. So now let's see what happens. You could have played the breakout here like I said and it would have worked fine. What we did was waited for this fair value gap and we'll see what happens here. Breakout retest could have played there. Okay. Now we enter here. Okay. And this is the beauty of it and and what just happened very fast, right?
You could see here. So in terms of structure, right? We put in a higher low into our fair value gap. Okay. So you're entering 67040. Your stop loss is daily low, not even a dollar. And you're risking quite literally high of day. Like I said, blind man setup's great for reversals, lows into highs. fair value gap under weekly pivot above stop-loss here. You could have entered the breakout trade which would have worked either way.
You would have been instant green, maybe a little red to green. What we did is a higher low pivot into a fair value gap. And again, what you really want to see is high of day. Obviously, you can have your own scales. I'll make this bright yellow, right? What you really want is high of day. And lo and behold, this was an amazing trade, right? basically blind man setup weekly sweep low fair value gap into a higher low and then damn near high of day and you get high of day.
So now when everyone else is chasing again I mentioned at the beginning of this video this is great for R&R multiple and ROI return because you're playing reversal trade on lows looking for highs. People play opening range high breakout. So when you're down here, right, you're getting high of day, leaving trailing and your trades pay. So now breakout retest high of day, right? As long as this 67454 holds, it's a higher low pivot.
Since our low of day, lowest low, higher low, higher low, higher low, higher low, etc. Now, you need highs to break, highest break, you probably get daily pivot. I don't really remember. Another higher low. So this pivot's going to be important. Boom. High of day breaks. need buyers probably get it another higher high. Okay, high of day. And there it goes. Like I said, this trade went I think 200 plus percent. We grabbed the [ __ ] excuse my French.
We grabbed the 675s here hoping for high of day, right? And it went all the way to 680 and and we we charted that together here real time. Um but so so this is a blind man setup from a weekly time frame and I'll go back here and we played the fair value gap entry but you could see here weekly sleep low put in drop down like I said 5 minute 3 minute you put in your sweep right that five minute bullish engulfing candle you want to close over it's okay it didn't but you want to close over for that trigger trade right didn't get it I said let's wait for a 3 minute 5m minute fair value gap at a higher low boom got it looking for high of day.
Absolutely effing crushed it. Okay, so I just give you two examples. Blind man setup, breakdown retest. Blind man setup, breakdown retest in a fair value gap. Remember the basis of a blind man setup is liquidity. It's a drawer of liquidity. Whether you're on 3m minute, if you're on a 5m minute, if you're on a 20, not 20, if you're on 30, 1 hour, 4 hour, daily, weekly, I like bigger time frames because bigger time frames, more reactions, more volatility.
These are my favorite. Um, and that's really what I'm looking to get. Right? So, this was a weekly BMS drop down 3 minute five multi-time frame analysis. Right? And I if I don't quote me, I think this was a 1 hour reversal at the weekly. Let's see. No. Okay. This is complete madness. But what I like to see is if you have a weekly monthly pivot, you put in a 1 hour reversal like honestly today. um just talk about multi-time frame continuity and we're always looking at VIX.
Today when we shorted for spy like I said we caught 140 150 VIX again price has already happened here but VIX impulse up 1 hour reversal right and it's helped our spy trade VIX had a 1 hour reversal at low of day low of day held 1 hour reversal broke targeting high of day well really targeting 2750 then high of day but all in all the same thing. So beautiful two examples of blind man setup. You need to understand if you don't sweep a prior high or a prior low, then it is not an acceptable trade.
If I could find in chat real quick another example, I'll give it to you. Like this is really um Oh, you know what? We had uh USO 15minute blind man setup as well. I think it was the 15-minute. Yep. So, USO and again I like opening range. I play opening range. USO low of day marked right. USO liquidity sweep of low of day. Again, you got 104.99 to 10450. You have a 50cent range and we actually tried to play this today.
We stopped out I think minus40. These trades end up going 250 which was a little painful. I didn't trust the setup. It was Friday's zero day. Um this is supposed to be green but if you look okay so so 15 minute this this opening range drawer on liquidity right I'm watching this 15minute low okay that's opening range low and then boom like I said so your 15 minutes your ideal okay so what did he say he said he's looking for high of day mark your high of day okay let's see so opening range high opening range low opening range low sweep the sweep is at mark your high now drop down what's he say 5 minute 3 minute so if I drop down 5 minute 3minut you could see like I said there's multiple ways this put the wick in immediately over this was the trade on this candle honestly and if you go 3m minute I'm sure it's going to be same action yep so you you put your low in 3m minute reversal you could have this would have been like I said a break over I probably would have played this third candle here and honestly this kind of did a little funky funk for all day.
But the key here, the key on any blind man setup is your pivot low holding. Look at this. Once price broke, got back over it, never seen the lows again. It wicked here once. Look how bouncy it was. And then lo and behold, once we finally got our break, high of day target met. So 10506 10450, you're risking 56 and you're looking for about a $3 pop. Uh I'm sorry, $2 pop. So risk 50 for two. It's a no-brainer. And this is again blind man setup 15-minute.
We did a blind man setup weekly. We did a blind man setup 1 hour. It's a draw on liquidity. Your liquidity is here. There's your draw. Now you're back over. As long as lows are protected, look how price reacts. Bingo. High of day. Bingo. High of day. And then what happens once you get over? Forget about it. It went rippy rippy rippy. Like I said, we had these somewhere down. I can't really remember. It was somewhere at 105ish.
Um, bummer I stopped out. These contracts stunk with the IV. But anyways, blind man set up, guys. Hope this makes sense. Love you all. Peace.
