Sunday Shift: Making £241 on Uber transcript

Hello everybody. We are back with a another episode of what does an Uber driver make? Um it is a horrible wet gray Sunday. Uh Sunday the [music] 27th of September I think. And we're going to do another episode. It's now4 to 4. Uh we're just driving to our location. Uh, we'll probably get on about 4:00 and we'll go from there and start earning some big bucks. Minimum minimum. The minimum revenue that we want to make today is £200 [music] min.

And if I can carry on, crack on till 2:50 delta. And then it'll be about 4 till 2 time wise hopefully, fingers crossed. So sit back, relax, and if you like the content, subscribe or don't or don't. [music] >> [music] >> I am 1 hour and 30 minutes into the shift and I have done 34.7 miles because everyone loves to know the miles and I have made 48.

Oh, apologies. I have made £4581. So, we're above the 20 um an hour threshold and we're doing well. Just flowing. Just a little bit of break now. Just 90 minutes of flow. How many trips is that? Seven trips. I learned from the last video that it doesn't really matter if you filter it. Just accept everything and you might just get a little bit above and a little bit of flow and you know just be doing things. So seven trips [music] £45. 1 hour 30 90 minutes.

I think we're going to have a half decent Sunday. 155 to go. Let's go. [music] This is the close to 4hour check-in. We've done 3 hours and 45 minutes and we have done, excuse me, mate 84 miles. Gone to 85, but we've done 84 miles and we've done 15 trips, which is not too bad. Things are flowing really nice, but I can sense that it's starting to quieten down a little bit because it's 8:00 and that's gone dark [music] as well.

Uh, but we have done £9.74. So, only £100 to go and that's like £25 an hour. So, I'm happy with that. I am happy at the moment. [music] Hour number five. Things are still going quite smoothly. We are 107 miles into our trips. 5 hours in, we have earned p. Uh, and we've also done 20 trips. So, things are rolling pretty well. if I do say so myself. But I've got a I've got a small tiny rant to make just because I want to.

I believe that it is incredibly rude to have me waiting. Like I don't know whether I'm [music] being just a little bit um peniki, is that the word? But I I don't know whether from a a customer point of view or a driver's point of view who's right or wrong. But if I arrive and have to wait on you, I believe that you don't value my time. And I believe that is incredibly rude. I believe that because you get a twominute warning that I'm around the corner.

You can see me on the map. There is no excuse that you should have me waiting at all. And especially if like I'm like 10 minutes away from you, you got 10 minutes to get yourself ready and meet me at the door. [music] And when we do meet at the door, that is the perfect trip. I arrive and you're there waving at me. Oh, get in. Let's have a na. I'll drop you off. [ __ ] bingo. But if I get there and I have to wait. So [ __ ] rude.

You do not value my time, my effort, or my service. And you must believe that tiny bit of money that you paid for this trip. Like it just means that you can do whatever you want and it doesn't. And if I had money in the bank, if I wasn't starving, if I wasn't poor, I'd cancel every single one of them. Anyway, that's my rant. It's probably not a good one, but tell me if you're a customer, what you think about that. [music] And uh if you're the driver, do you feel the same way, too?

Maybe it's just me being a crab. Ready? Let's get Let's get some more trips in. to go until we reach the minimum amount that we want to, which is the way we're running, 3 hours. And uh what the [ __ ] The app's got mental. It reckons it reckons I've got a trip, but there's nothing in there. What? What's going on? There's no trip. Oh, let's just check this quick. Jesus Christ. Look, it's saying no trip. Put the S there.

We just uh we just refresh the thing. Turn it on and off again. We've been going the wrong way. What the actual hell? That's disgraceful. Now, if this person doesn't meet me at the [ __ ] door and by the way, that is pure professionalism. I like picked up on that. Yes. [music] >> [music] >> It is currently hour 8 and we have done 30 trips. Uh it's actually 7 hours and 44 minutes. We've done 30 trips and we've made, oh god, let's get the miles out the way. 175 miles in 30 trips in 7 hours and 44 minutes and we've made 200.

Come on. Good Sunday. Good Sunday. Um, I think I'm going to teeter on a little bit and maybe get 225 and then, you know, see how it goes. It it has just slowed down a little bit again. Tinkling along. But yeah, hour eight. Uh 200 buff. Definitely £25 an hour. No idea what it is in my pay house. So don't even ask. I'll do it at the end. But um yeah, I'm going to tinker on. Maybe another hour. Do 9 hours. See what we can get at 9.

I'll probably lose my hourly rate because it's getting a little bit slow. But let's see what we can get. >> [music] [music] >> Yes, the people we are back. We have just finished our Uber shift on Sunday and we earned £241.70. We did 29 miles. We did 35 trips in 9 hours, which is absolutely spectacular. That means that revenuewise, we earned £268 an hour, which is absolutely spectacular. And mileage wise, we did £116 a mile, which is not bad.

Our on trip mileage is £1.96 a mile, which also isn't bad. Now, I know a lot of people come in the comments and they want to know what I've earned after all my outgoings, which is fuel, car expenses, such and such, such as life. Well, when I take the car payments out, which is £41, cuz this is a fixed cost. I rent this, I have fixed cost, £41 a day. Uh if I that's over 5 days. If I do six days, then that day is free.

Anyway, £41 taken out. Then if we take out fuel now fuel we have done 209 miles. Uh which cost what's it cost? The fuel has cost me 200 not 200 at all. The fuel cost £27.17 making our actual rate after deductions £41 deduction 27 deduction leaves us with 173 after overheads which for the 9h hour shift works out to £19 an hour. It is also Sunday. But anyway, they are the totals for this Sunday. I have a YouTube channel where I do full vlog shift.
