What's up, everyone? All right. Well, I'm getting knocked out of the game today. I gave back more than half my gains in one trade. And so, today was one of those days where I was making nice steady progress, and then one misstep gave back almost everything I'd made. I gave back 90% of the progress I'd made. I was up a little over $20,000 today, and as I sit right now, I'm up less than three grand. Mhm. That's disappointing. And this right here, this is again one of those forks

And this right here, this is again one of those forks in the road that I have to make the difficult decision to walk away. To be grateful for $2,800. It's not 20 grand, uh obviously, but it's better than red. And if I go for another trade after such a big loss, it would be so easy to flip from green to red, and then deeper red, and start to really spiral, and dig my teeth in, and get stubborn. And I've done that before, so many times, more times I could count.
I'm not happy with the way I'm sitting today. And that right there is an important recognition. I'm not happy with being up $2,800. Now, if I hadn't been previously up 20,000, I'd probably be like, "Yeah, $2,800 is a small green day, whatever." But because I peaked way up at 20 grand, 2,800 feels like nothing. So, that's the whole issue with perspective with trading is that you anchor yourself to the number that was your high of day.
And then anytime you're below that, you're just thinking you need to get back to that level. And if you can't get back to that level, you just feel disappointed, discouraged, you know, and uh and you trade from a place of emotion, and that's not what I want to do today. Another day, maybe I would. Not today. I just was in this big drawdown. Right now, I just need to maintain, you know, hold steady, survive. So, let's jump on to the screen share and let's look at ODYS.
ODYS comes out with a catalyst. Um it's a it's a um a partnership signs um with the US Navy to advance AI-driven visual sensing support and condition-based maintenance operations. Okay, that's a mouthful, but it has a keyword, AI-driven, US Navy. signs So, this is this is a good headline. Now, the issue for me was that this headline came out at 8:30 and I had not taken a single trade yet this morning. So, when I first sat down this morning, just to go back to the beginning, we had CLIK on our scanners.
This is a stock that as you could see squeezed from about $2 a share up to 550, drops down, comes back up. It's a Hong Kong company, as we could see right here. It is um not in the tech space. So, reports strong revenue growth and swings to profit, seniors nursing sector. Skyrockets over 110%. But seniors nursing sector, that's not a that's not an exciting sector. That's not a sector with huge ROI, with big multiples, with big buyout potential.
It's a it's a uninteresting business. It doesn't mean it can't be profitable, but it's not the sector where we're going to see, you know, 200, 300, 400% moves in one day. It's just not. And then the fact that it's Chinese creates this whole degree of skepticism around, you know, the company because of the things that we've seen with some of these other Chinese stocks. So, I saw and I just thought, you know, I I don't think so.
Uh and I guess I underestimated it because on the 1-minute chart, it did rally back up. And I could have traded it, and I chose not to. Had this first pop at 6:30, it dips down, rallies back up. I wasn't sitting down to watch it then. I sat down at 7:00 a.m. and you could see it had sold off. And then at 7:00, it kind of starts rallying back up. It breaks over the volume weight average price, pops up, a little micro pullback here.
I was watching it, but I wasn't sure it was going to work. And then it pushes a little higher. Dips down, pushes a little higher, and then rolls it over. The whole way up, it had some big sellers, and I thought, you know, this doesn't surprise me to see these big sellers. So, I just said to myself, "No, I just don't think it's happening." Um, and although I missed the move from 4:00 to 5:00, uh, I could have traded it in spite of not feeling like this had huge potential.
I chose not to, and so I maybe left some money on the table there. So, that was the first stock that I watched this morning and and chose not to trade. We're going to go back a little bit further. So, that was CLIK. Then we had MWG. This one pops up from two to 260, and is now down at $1, $1.43. It's down 20% on the day. They put out news, and the market did not respond well. No trades on that. Why not? Because it's too cheap.
Wasn't interested. Wasn't I I I It's just a little too cheap. Uh, MNTS. This one pops up on the scans, no fresh news. Daily chart, kind of curling maybe, but no fresh news, no trades, wasn't up enough. Then we had GAMB. This one, 21 million share float, pops up, but slightly higher float. Um, wasn't really sure about it, left it alone, no trades. Uh, CLIK back on the scanner. Then BNAI, higher price stock. Pops up from 22 up to 27, low volume, only about 60,000 shares, 80,000 shares in this candle on a 5-minute chart.
Very low volume, bigger spreads, couldn't manage risk, no trades. Uh, JZKN. Have traded Did one before, Chinese company, not interested, a little too cheap. Right? Then we had ODYS. ODYS hits the scanner at 728, and when it first hits the scanner, I noticed the float was 8 million shares. I type it in the level two and I notice that it's easy to borrow. So, boom, I see the big green easy to borrow and I figure, "Nah." You know, this is kind of the issue where we're not seeing a lot of great opportunities and when we do, you know, they're heavily shorted.
This one's easy to borrow, so it's going to be heavily shorted. It pops up here, it dips down, no trades, curls up, 723, pulls back. It breaks, goes to 750, curls all the way up to eight and up to 850. And here I was like, "Okay. Well, now this is interesting, but is this too high to get in up here?" I looked at the daily chart, didn't seem particularly interesting on the daily chart. It sort of recently had this stronger sell-off.
So, from 760 down to 440, I thought, "Nah, I don't know. I don't really like that too much." Couple windows, 760 up to 938, a little gap, and then a little resistance up to 960, then a little bit a little bit more, a little bit more, and then room up to, you know, 1080. I just wasn't really sure the daily chart seemed super strong initially. So, not interested. Ends up pushing up to 1050. Darn it, goes without me. Dips down, and then I took this break right here over 10 because this felt like a 10-second ABCD pattern.
It breaks 10, it goes to 11, and then drops back down to nine. Then it rallies back up, I get back in here for the break back over 10, pops, dips down, I get back in up here for the break over 11, pops, rejection. Then it breaks 11, that works, then up to like 1150, pulls back, up to 12, pulls back, back up to 12, pulls back, and I got a nice trade right here for the break of 12. And this trade right here, I bought basically 10 cents under high of day, but I thought if it breaks this high, we're going to keep pushing higher.
So, I'm looking for 1250 13. And then I get out and then I got back in right here and did the same thing. Adding right around 13 and thinking if it breaks 13, we're going to get a move up to 14. It pops up to 1357. And then it flashes to 1270. And on the ask, there's a 68,000 share seller. I try to hit the bid and I get filled at with slippage. I only get a partial fill. I cancel, I sell again, and I'm filling at 1236.
You can see my orders right here. 1236 1242 1236 1207 1197 and 1184. And I had a 20,000 share position. So, I lost like 17 grand on that trade. Uh uh so discour- discouraging. It's so disappointing to go from up 20,000 on the day, you know, just nice steady gains. And again, a couple of these were a little risky, but it kept going. And then the bottom just fell out. And so good thing I sold where I did, right? Because it went a lot lower, down to 850.
Curling back up a teeny bit now, but no, I shouldn't have kept holding it. No way. This would be devastating. So, then then just like that, you know, went from up 20 grand down to up only $2800. Which is still a lot of money. I mean, couldn't imagine spending $2800 in a grocery store. So, it's more than enough for a lot of groceries. It's I mean, you know, that's $2800 is good. It's not 20,000, but it is good. The glass uh it doesn't feel half full.
It feels 10% full. Um but it's a big glass. So, that's a lot of that's that's a lot there. I I have to be grateful for it. And you know, live live to trade another day. Survival right now. This is a market that you just kind of have to survive. You get through it. And yeah, I started to build a cushion today. I started to size up a little bit. I thought, "Okay, here we go. This is our one day this week where we've got something that's moving." It was up about 180% at the peak.
It was our leading gainer. It just kept pushing higher and yeah, I mean, maybe I should have sized down sooner. But um you know, it was squeezing and in that moment the the chart felt clean. It felt like it was going to keep going and so I was, you know, I was aggressive and I I made a uh well, I again, I don't I don't know if I would characterize it as a mistake. You know, MACD was open, everything volume profile was good.
I think I just ran out of time on it, you know, and the window closed. A big seller came out. Why did they come out there and not sooner? Why not later? We don't never know. But they came out and once they started selling, it started to unwind. So, uh you know, what can you do? It is what it is. Um the best thing you could do is brush it off. That's the best thing you could do. Because then it's, you know, today goes in the calendar as a small green day.
And uh a week from now, I won't even be thinking any more about it. I'll just, you know, it'll be like, "Yeah, that was a I don't know." I'll look at the calendar and say, "Oh yeah, there was a green day that Monday. It was 2,000 bucks." I don't know. I probably won't remember that I gave back 17,000 off the top, whatever it was. Um it'll just be a small green day. Right? So, you know, let's just for example, I'll look at the calendar here from um I'll look at April.
So, this day, 3,500 red, I don't remember what I traded. I don't know if I I mean, I see only three trades. So, I probably wasn't green and then went to red, but I don't know. This day, 7 1,400, I don't know. Maybe I was up 20 grand and gave it all back. I don't remember. It cuz it doesn't matter. It's water under the bridge. This day, well, see, I got stubborn and I'm not going to forget that for a little while. This day I also got stubborn, right?
So, I want to avoid getting stubborn. I just want to take my foot off the gas and just just give up. I mean, I I know that sounds kind of pessimistic, but um but I think that you got to know when to fight and you got to know when when not to. And right now, what would I have gotten from fighting on this? I just would have dug the hole deeper. And then, when a minute later, I got out of that trade, another stock popped up, LINC.
It's 1.3 million share float with breaking news. Jump in that real quick. Maybe I'll make back the loss. Uh-oh. That went from $5 all the way down to 340. Yikes. So, yeah, it had it had a headline um announces execution of non-binding letter of intent for potential strategic acquisition. But you know, this one it's just kind of a What does that mean? And then the stock is also easy to borrow, right there. So, this just isn't the market to push it in.
And um and maybe I pushed it a little too hard today, but you know, at the end of the day, I'm still walking away with some profit. And so, I suppose if you gauge um you know, success to a certain degree by how you finish the day, I I am finishing green and that's good. I I think that that's maybe not the best way to to gauge it because um you do have to you have to have discipline. It's not like throw throw all the rules out the window and if you finish green, you did you had a good day even if you traded terribly.
Um I you know, but but at the end of the day, being consistently green is going to be important and today is going to be a small green day. So, that's it for me. Those of you guys um that haven't already checked out two-week trial here at Warrior Trading, link is posted in the comments and in the description and I look forward to seeing you guys in the chat room.
