Warden Is INSANE With This NEW MECHANIC… transcript

[music] >> All right boys and girls, welcome back to more one drawn ground today. We're ground some ones we've got against Warden. I'm playing them a few times in some recent one on videos. And yeah, let's get into it. Games have been going pretty well against him, so we'll see if we can keep that up. Good start this one one now. We are in the top 10 right now. I believe around eighth ranking in the world, I think. And Warden, I don't think he'll be too far either behind or ahead.

I'm actually not too sure. Nice save there by him. Should be able to get back, I think. Yeah, nice. And I might be dead. Okay, nice. Somehow survived that. Grab the boost. Feed this up a bit. Over on this side of the pitch. Might shoot this. Can't quite catch him off guard. I should be able to fake him though. Do not. Delayed wave dash kick off this guy's way. His recovery is a little awkward, but he can't get on target from back.

Two two. Oh, sorry. Two one. Luckily it's not two two. Yeah. Just a delayed wave dash kick off there. Doesn't actually get the wave dash. Doesn't need it. Quickie kick off though. All right, let's go. Warden's a very mechanical player, I think. And I've been on a lot of people's radars. I believe I was like away in in NA or in Paris or somewhere. I don't know where I was, but he I think he played some like show matches and people were very kind of surprised when I came back.

Everyone was asking me who this new player is. But he's been around for a while. He's been in plenty of my videos before. Just when uh no one kind of had heard of him yet, I guess. I get the save on the recovery, but he does get it round his dump. He's going to jump for that first one. 2 3 Give up an easy goal there when he's on zero boost, which isn't one I should really be giving up. I'll be able to score before he's back.

He does get in time though. I control this back. Nice. He just jumps, which I don't mind. I can't quite catch him on the demo yet though, and I don't think I'll be able to get him. Touch around. It's pretty decent. Nice. 3 3. Right as we had our flip still there on the jump off the wall. Really thought it had been been too long since my first jump. We'll take it. And a shoot. Nice. Good shot. 4 3 Kickoff. That's you fine.

We'll be able to stay on it though. I kind of messed up. Okay, nice. We are back. He does get that corner boost though, so we're kind of brute to be honest with you. Nice. Let's take a shot quickly. Get the save. Going to clear this out. We are still very awkward. I run through here. It's a little aggressive though. I don't think I'm going to be able to get back to you yet. My bad. 4 4 Should have backed off. I didn't really want to give that space, but yeah, he can just take a quick touch and counter attack down the middle.

Kickoff another delayed kind of like a Shaddy style of kickoff. A kickoff that Shaddy's very good at that he's going for here. I block that pre-flip. Should have a goal here. Nice. Just round target. 5 4 Goes for a pre-flip flick. We can just quickly get it before it happens. Had to go goal side to that challenge towards the middle of our goal, and then we really block every angle. I hate this kickoff that he's going for.

It's so good. That's one reset. Goes for the over. We can over it fairly easily. Go for the bump. We do get him 6-4. Half game left. Nice kickoff. Grab this mid boost, play the ball, but he's a little awkward. I'm going to speed this up. We actually do get a demo, and he should be open. 7-4. Game is going pretty nicely. We've got most of the control here. At least mostly upper hand on these kind of challenges. This should be my boost.

Let's search it once. He will be awkward here now. Also, it's flick. Stay behind him, get the demo. Sorry, not get the demo, get the boost, and give up the open. That's 7-5. Nice shot that. He's on zero, and he manages to get the power on that. But, yeah, a bit of an easy one. I didn't give give respect to that long shot at all. Didn't get the ball in time. I quickly shoot, I can. 8-5. Another good kickoff. Might just shoot this.

Don't really get the power or height I'm looking for. I'm going to fake the pinch. He will challenge, and I've kind of messed up there. That'll be another goal. 8-6. Yeah, I uh the reset that I got it kind of scooped the ball up somewhat, and it made it pretty impossible for me to get touch instantly. And once he sees that, it's just an open net pretty much. Kickoff goes my way, but not too well. We can get a dual touch.

I don't kind of demo. Quickly speed this ball up. Actually I score this yet. I'm going to fake the shot and grab. Let's boost off a 50, get a touch. Could have an open net now. 9-6 We're stuck on a three-goal lead right now, which isn't uh isn't the worst place to be, but well, we're just kind of going between two goal leads and three goal leads. I really want to kind of break that trend a little bit. I flick it around in case he goes.

I'm going to fake the jump. Go for him up, grab the boost. Just going to shoot. Could be it. Nice, there we go. Finally, a four-goal lead, 10-6. Nice kickoff. This guy Demar I'm really going to be able to take that ball back, so he has to go towards the net. He can't take it back now, though. Pinch. Oh, that was a nice have like a ceiling pinch or like a a carry with the ceiling there into a ground pinch, but yeah, good win.

Take a look at the leader board real quick. I think we're Yeah, so we're ranked seven in the world now. Just uh got over Zen with that win, so 1630 and mark. Um about 22 points away from rank five, so hopefully, we can get it in this video. Um actually, probably not, but we can at least get closer. Hey, game two. We're going against Warden again. Ends up I'll say I'm uh Well, I hope you guys don't mind, but I'm sorry for all the ones videos recently.

I really uh Yeah, I'm I'm going away, or I will be away at at the time of this video in uh Portugal for a month, so I've got to record like 4 days ahead. Or sorry, I think it's like 6 days ahead, actually. So, I kind of got to get what kind of videos that I I can really. Um but yeah, we'll know. Good start this game. Reset. Carry around one. Got He fakes the kickoff. We just go down the middle, two nil. Kickoff is good.

Wow, that is a very nice bounce down the wall. He didn't really expect that. I just stuck around to see if it would, you know, happen. Wasn't really sure if it would uh would or not, but it rolls down middle for me, three nil. Just win this kickoff. I won't be able to grab that my boost. Yes, uh reset off the wall here. He does have his flip. That's a great shot, three one. Yeah, he gets his reset right here. Hits it against the wall and so he has his reset from earlier.

Really nice shot. That's still not an easy flick. Great play. You can see why a lot of people want to watch uh gameplay of this guy. Go wait for his play. Yeah, it's a good shot again. Three two. Gets the reset. He missed the uh small boost pad there. I'm going to grab this boost. I should be fine. Ooh, hang on. Maybe I'm not. Okay, I am technically. Nice. See if I can snipe that. Should be in. If it's not in, it's going to bounce somewhat nicely for me.

Okay. He'll have to get really to the side of that ball and squeeze it in, but four two. Good shot on the counterattack there. Kickoff goes his way. Pushed the ceiling with it. Nice. Good recovery. Oh, I've messed up the important recovery, damn. Go wait for his touch. Oh, wow. I did not flip. I jumped off that. He doesn't really have an awful lot of boost to come. I almost actually concede off that. I didn't cover that shot all too well.

I'm going to go to the ceiling. Go down. He does mess up. He's going to shoot. Nice. 5-2. Good shot. Kickoff should be mine. Yeah, nice. I just grabbed that small boost pad, so do win this one. Take it round him. Nice. Great play. 6-2. That was really well timed there. He challenged and we just flipped at the right time to take it round him with the pinch. Kickoff. He does win it with the delayed kickoff. Going to jump early for this.

Wow, he finds that spot round us and I thought we covered it, but he just found the angle. 6-3. Really nice shot. Nice. 7-3. He tries to delay the kickoff again. This time we go straight over him. Uh, I can't quite bump him. I'll wait for his play. I'm going to jump now. Great shot. 10-4. Bad kickoff. That'll be 7-5, I think. Yeah, he can just reach it. Damn. Decent kickoff. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.

I catch him off guard with the quick flick. Wow, he does reach us for that demo. Going to grab this boost. Wait for the flick. He doesn't really hits it. Just jump, which I don't mind. And delay our search in case he challenges. He just misses. Touch there. 8-5. Nice kickoff. Nah, got bumped. Okay, he can't shoot. He'll be open again. Time five. A really high scoring game. Lots of Lots of errors, to be honest with you.

We uh are making slightly less errors. I get bumped again. This time I have to maybe bump him and do get back for the save. Jump right when he jumps so we can outspeed him. Going to pre-flip challenge. Going to fake it so he touches it back. See if I can outspeed him to his corner boost. Wow. That's somehow mine. He's going to be on pretty much his area. He's moving left. He has absolute zero boost. Should be able to get demoed.

And maybe a cutback to his net. He'll be able to score. I messed. I can grab his boost, though. Okay. They weren't making as many errors. Okay, well, I'm not. >> [laughter] >> That was a crazy challenge and one that we just had to go underneath there. Just fake the hard touch and go underneath him with the single jump. 10-5. Nice kickoff. My challenge is instantly. Just fake it. See if I can take this touch back quickly without getting demoed.

I should be fine now that he's gone to the side of me. I don't know why he's not too happy about that. That was never going to go his way on that. And yeah, you early challenges cuz he's tilted. 10-5. Good stuff. Let's go to game three. Okay, I have been searching >> [music] >> for this game for I kid you not, 20 I want to say 15-20 minutes. Um so, I have no idea what rank we've got. We We've got like a top 100 player or genuinely down to like GC 3.

Like there there is I It could be a top 100 someone might have started queuing. Or it could be someone really low rank. Judging I'm I'm going to assume it's a high rank player. I I I I I feel like I might have played this guy before. He's got good kickoffs and and moves well. So, let's get into this game and uh see if we can get this win, but yeah, that was a that was a rough queue. That was a very rough queue. Wouldn't stop queueing, I guess.

And no one else is online. The force loyal to use his flip reset loyal. Not sure where he's from, but he's on 16 ping, so he's a European player. Decent flick. This guy had a good save. You will carry on with the ball. I'm going to let him come out of his corner a little bit before challenging. He'll be back for this. Lost his touch. Think it's my boost. The speed of the serpent score. Nice. Two nil. I don't really want to challenge in that corner on the the top right of the pitch there.

Got to let him come out and then take the challenge when it's a better angle for me. Going to fake this. Grab all the small boost pads and the big boost pad. I'm going to flick this high so he can't go for it. Fake the reset. Go low. He does cover it well. I 50 over to the mid boost. Decent challenge. Going to wait for this ball to pass and probably shoot. That's a really safe shot I used to take. I wasn't too confident on that reading kind of yeah.

Yeah, it came out of it. That was really bad. Two on Gave away a free goal for that. I don't know why I didn't just shoot. I got concerned I was just going to let him miss. Just fake it. Grab some pads. Going to fake it. Force him to use his flip. Fake it again. Try hit round him. He does get a better recovery than me though. Two two. Grab this corner boost. Oh, wait a second. Be careful of the potential demo. He doesn't go for it and delay 50.

I do miss my recovery, though. I'll wait for his play. This guy reset. A nice play, but we do get the save and we should have a goal. Nice. Nice. Good beat. Wow, I've miss- messed up. Missed my flip dash. He does have 12 boost. Doesn't really have all too much now. I'm going to quickly try and shoot so he can't come out of his net and grab too much pads. Nice. Double jump. Make him use as much boost as possible again.

He's still on really low. Ah, he's done well though on that 50. He can recover nicely. I'll take time on this challenge. A decent shot. That's a great shot. 3-3. Okay. 2-3. He goes decent. I can't quite grab the boost. I can't grab the mid boost. I do have to cover the shot last second, though. He will be able to grab the corner. I'll be careful on that challenge. I don't really go for it yet. Decent save. No. 4-3. Good flick.

Don't quite get the save. He goes okay. I'll take time with it, though. I low 50 at three. He does get recovery off of the uh flip reset through that 50 that. Oh, that's a nice touch. Am I back? I am barely. Try and trip him up. Can't quite get him. Doesn't go for that. Full boost. I don't think he has the angle to turn it on target, so I'm just going to go for it. Oh, there's bluff on that one. Same as this one here.

Take time. Just wait. Should just be open now. He's left his net open. I do miss. I low 50. Can't quite get it through. Could be in now. Actually not on target yet. Uh, don't think I can shoot either. He thinks it's in there. Going to fake it. Quickly take a shot. It's a good save. Bad shot. Good save again. Grab his boost. Low 50 goes his way really. Going to fake it. Take time again. We need to score off this really.

Nice. There we go. 4-4. Let's go. Fakes the kickoff. Go back for this boost. Nice. Let's stay on that. Could be fine. Nice. Take time. Us loads time here. Good first touch. Nice. Good flick. My fault. Cover his. I was going to say cover his hook kickoff and we did, but he still kind of hooked it through that. Nice. Okay. Wow. That was game. Really good game. Wow. That was uh tough. I don't know where that guy was on the on the leaderboard either.

So, if we lost that, that could be I don't know. I think we I think we're 1634 though, which means that he was pretty high. Let me see if I can find him real quick. What was his name, Loyal? Yeah, I couldn't find his tracker or anything. He's a a mysterious player, I guess. I I can't see him on the on the leaderboard anyway, so I'm going to assume he's outside the top 100, so really close game there for um obviously that that would have been like minus 16 points.

I think his his um name just isn't appearing. Sometimes that can happen on the leaderboard cuz I think I was like 1633 or 1634 and getting six or seven points for for a game like that when you're playing someone outside the top 100. Uh we wouldn't get that amount of MMR for someone 200 points below us, so I think he's somewhere here and his name is just not appearing, but either way, great great player and a good game.

Uh we're going to leave it there for this video. Three wins. Uh really good stuff. Three wins for the video. Made our way up to rank seven in the world, all points away from rank uh or sorry, top five, and then from there it's a few points [music] to rank four, and then a big big mountains to climb to the top three in the world, Nipu, Nason, and Moxy all taking up the top three spots with yeah, quite a big gap between them and Ruas at fourth, so it's going to be a tough climb, but we'll we'll definitely give it a go at least.
