3 Day Germination Results WITHOUT Pre-Germinating Grass Seed transcript

[music] >> What's going on good people? So, you read the thumbnail and the title right. Fescue seed germination in 3 days or less. Already driving roots without pre-germinating those seed. It can be done. And I've already showed you how to do it in my last video. I'll link it at the end of this one to show you the process of actually how I did [music] it. And the main thing with that is incorporating the seed into the soil.

So, I'm just going to show you the proof. No peat moss, none of that, no covering, no soil brought in. Just incorporating the seed into the soil [music] and proper watering. With the right temperatures, less than 3 days, we have seed that is germinated. And here's the proof right here. As I pulled the seed out of the soil, you can already see that [music] we've actually got the leaf blade that's already pushed through and cracked through.

But let alone, we also already have a root that is rooting in that is at least at least a quarter inch or more on that root length. And we're talking 3 days, people. 3 days. So, the process works [music] for getting germination and establishment. The establishment portion comes from the root that is already driving down into the soil. It actually [music] took a little bit of pulling to make sure that I got that seed out to show it to you right now.

So, you can see that it is already in the process of establishing itself with that root system, which is one of the very important things that you need, which is [music] why we say seed to soil contact is important. And then, once that seed germinates, it's right there in the soil that it can go ahead and start establishing its root system, [music] which is going to be the foundation of its future establishment. Having a quality seed, which is [music] Mountain View seed or the Elm Street Elite, you can't beat having a quality seed and [music] getting germination just like this without having to go through the pre-germination [music] process.

Yes, I understand the pre-germination process does help save on water to get you [music] to this point, but as far as time and speeding things up, in my book, [music] I've said it before, it doesn't pay off for me. I do not see the benefit of it. Once you get the seed down, you incorporate it into the soil properly, [music] and you water properly. Nothing against the pre-germination, nothing against the people that use peat moss.

Those are just not my methods, and I get results year after year along with other professionals that are out here seeding [music] acres on acres. And also, think about your side farmers that are also using a similar process of making [music] sure they're incorporating that seed into the soil when they're planting that side seed >> [music] >> that you go out and purchase.
