My "GOAT POPPER" BUILD IS DOMINATING NBA 2K27! BEST PF/BACKEND BUILD on NBA 2K27 transcript

Now, since we're a popper, I think we can all agree that shooting is important, right? And as you guys know, it's a little harder to shoot this year, which means it's going to be very important to have a good jump shot, and that's where NBA2K Labs comes in.

And this is where they upload all their jump shot data, which includes the green windows, the speeds, the total make percentages, and everything else you need to find the best jump shot for you. All right, for the position, we're going to be a power forward. For the height, you can go with a 6'9" or a 6'7", those are the two best heights right now, but we're going to go with a 6'7" build. Now, keep in mind, this is for twos, threes, and then playing the four in Pro-Am. But anyways, our weight is going to be 242 lb, and our wingspan is going to be 7 ft. All right, let's start with the physicals. The reason why we're starting here is because one of the advantages we have over a 6'9" or a 6'7" is our speed, and speed on defense is so important, bro.

You need to be able to guard the pick and roll effectively. You got to hedge, you got to recover, you got to switch, whatever the case may be, the higher the speed, the better, and that's why we're going to max this out at an 89. Now, for the agility, we're going to put this up to a 78. If I had more than three cap breakers, I would tweak the build around a little bit, and I would max this out to an 82, but for now, we're going to keep this right here.

This is a big man build, we of course have to have some strength, so we're going to put this up to an 85. That's going to get us immovable on gold, along with other badges that you will see here in a bit once we upgrade some other stuff. As for the vertical, your vertical is going to help you with rebounding. A lot of people still don't know that, even though it's been like that for a few years now. So, we're going to put our vertical up to a 75 and that's also going to get us a badge that you guys are going to like, which we will talk about later.

We are a popper, right? We got to be able to shoot. It's in the name. So, let's come up here to the shooting and let's put this up to an 83. We're going to max this out and that's going to get us arc cadet that I am limitless on bronze along with set in fire on silver. And I recommend you plus one set in fire to get this on gold. And yes, what you're seeing right here is with an 83 three-ball. Now, granted, my man stage is a very good player and a very good shooter.

I'll leave his link in the description, but it is possible to fade and shoot lights out from three on this game with just an 83 three-ball. As for the midi, we're going to leave this at a 73 here, which is going to get us smooth operator and static midi on bronze. It's not going to get us anything crazy, but at least we got that. And then for the free throw, I am not much of a five player, so I'm going to leave this here, but if you are a five player and you want to add more free throw, by all means, go ahead because it is your build at the end of the day.

Remember that. Let's jump over here to the rebounding and not to toot my own horn here, but before I uploaded this video, I went on YouTube, TikTok, and just looked around at other popper builds to see how mine stacked up. And would you believe me if I told you some dude were going like 70 75 D-board on a popper build? This is supposed to get re- This is a This is a big man. What do y'all do with me doing? Anyway, we're not going with a 75.

We are going with a 90 and that is going to get us that sink snatcher badge on Hall of Fame. And if you want, which I recommend, you can plus one this to legend. We're also going to get possession closer on silver along with box out boss on silver. And as the game progresses and you unlock more cap breakers, if you want to add three caps to strength, you will get this box out boss badge on gold. We got good defensive rebounding.

What about the offensive rebounding? Do not worry. We're going to max this out at an 82, which is going to get us that breaker badge on silver along with crasher on silver. Let's hop over here to the defense. I want to say this, you guys. So, literally yesterday, I was playing with a big man that had like a 60-65 interior-ish, and bro, we played like a 6'8 or 6'9 with 93 driving dunk. He was absolutely obliterating him, okay?

If you want to guard the dunkers and the people who are these layup gurus all of a sudden, you got to have good interior and block this year. In the past 2K's, you could get away with a 50-60 interior if you knew what you were doing, but not this year. So, our interior defense, we're going to put this up to an 80, and that is going to get us the new wall up badge on bronze. I recommend you hold right stick up when you are playing wall up defense in the paint.

It's also going to get us post lockdown on bronze along with paint patroler once we upgrade our block. So, speaking of our block, let's go down to that, and we're going to put this up to an 84. So, we have 84 block with 80 interior, and we're going to have high flying denier on silver along with paint patroler on silver. Let's jump up here to the perimeter. So, like I said, we're going to be involved on defense in the pick and roll, right?

So, if we're playing good teams, we're going to have to switch with our locks, and we're going to have to play on ball defense on a fast point guard. So, we of course need perimeter D. We're going to put this up to an 85, which is going to get us seat belt on silver. And if you don't know what this is, it's essentially the new on ball menace badge from last year. This is also going to get us immovable on gold, which I said earlier, and challenger on silver along with ankle braces and pick dodger on bronze.

The last part of our defense is our steal. Now, I don't know if it was a stick skill thing, but yesterday I was playing with Stage on the twos. I was put His name is Stage P. And he was going crazy with interceptor on silver. So, I don't know if it's the badge, I don't know if it's cracked this year, but he had Interceptor on silver, he was going crazy. So, we're going to put our steal up to an 83, which is going to get us that Interceptor on silver, along with glove on silver.

If I say Interceptor on silver one more time, I'm going to lose my mind. So, enough with that, let's jump up here to the play making. This is where our first cap breakers are about to be implemented. So, if we're getting rebounds and we're throwing the break, right? What do we need? It's on the screen and it has the word break in it. That would be break starter. Ding, ding, ding. Good job. So, we're going to put our pass up to a 71.

Now, take a look at this. If we add two cap breakers here, we're actually going to get a plus six, which brings us to a 77, which gets us that break starter on silver. Easy math. As for the ball handle and the speed with ball, this is just tied to other attributes. We are going to leave these here. But now, let's jump over to the finishing. I'm seeing a lot of poppers that can't get can't can't catch bodies, that don't have contact dunks.

Well, don't you guys worry. You guys know I'm a rim runner, I'm a dunker. We, of course, are going to have dunk on this build. So, we're going to put this up to an 86 >> [music] >> and we're going to add our third and final cap breaker here to get us to an 87, which is going to get us posterizer on silver. Now, remember, if you want to tweak the build to your play style into the game modes that you play, that's completely okay because this is your build at the end of the day.

But now, let's get into the jump shot and the takeovers. All right. So, if you didn't know, you can now have multiple takeover abilities. You put one on for each category. So, I'm going to go through each one one by one. So, for the finishing, once you put your cap breaker on your driving dunk, you're going to unlock air space. This is really good, you're going to equip this one. For the shooting, if you are a good shooter and you don't need the shooting boost, use hydration hero.

If not, use the default shooting. For the play making, use either default play making or hydration hero. For the defense, it's really just personal preference either glue or rim guardian, but I personally would go with that glue takeover. And then for the rebounding use muscle.
