**GOOD NEWS** April 2026 Visa Bulletin - EB2 EB3 India to Jan 2015 transcript

Hello friends, Mandar here. I'm back with another video. Today, April 2026 Visa Bulletin is out and there is some incredible news for EB2 and EB3 India. Finally, both EB2 and EB3 filing date chart has reached January of 2015. There is also a lot of progression in the family based section and we are going to talk about it. We'll also talk about what can we expect in the upcoming months and in the new year. So, very exciting times.

Now, let's jump into the Visa Bulletin. And before we go into the comparative analysis, just let you let you know that the biggest news is EB2 India in the final action chart has moved forward by almost nine months and EB2 and EB3 India in the filing date chart has moved forward to January of 2015. Those are the big news and also lot of forward progression in the family based section. With that said, let's start the comparative analysis of the family based section first and then we'll go into the employment based section.

And towards the end, I will let you know what my thoughts are for the remainder of the year. Now, here as you can see on the left-hand side, we have the March 2026 Visa Bulletin, and on the right-hand side we have April 2026 Visa Bulletin. So, let's look at the final action chart for the family sponsorship visa first. So, F1 Now, F1 has moved forward by almost 6 months from 8th of November 2016 to 1st of May 2016 for all chargeability China and India.

So, that is a great progression in the final action chart, which means these 6 months worth of visa numbers are going to be available for people to actually get their green cards. Now, Mexico has also moved forward by about 2 months from December to February of 2007. Philippines has Philippines has also moved forward by 2 months from March to May 2013. Now, F2A category, although has remained the same in the final action chart, there is some magic in the filing date chart, and we'll come to that.

F2B category has also moved forward from December 2016 to May 2017 for all chargeability China and India, and also for Mexico Mexic Philippines has remained the same. However, the Mexico has also progressed by about 5 months. F3 category has moved forward from September 2011 to December of 2011, so about 3 months of forward moment, and Mexico Mexico has remained the same, but Philippines has also moved forward from March 2005 to July 2005.

And F4 category, all the dates for all chargeability China and India have moved forward by about 5 months from January 2008 to June of 2008. Mexico has also Mexico has remained the same, but Philippines has also moved forward incredibly by about 6 to 7 months from November of 2006 to February of 2007. So, incredible forward movement for family-based section. This is majorly because of those visa restrictions for those 75 countries that is in place.

Those visa numbers are directly coming to the other categories that are backlogged. So, these forward moments in the family base section are no surprise. Although it was a surprise that nothing moved forward last month. I guess they have come up with those numbers and made them available for these different for the rest of the world and India and China for the family base section. So, great news for family base section.

So, now let's look at the filing date chart for the family base section. Now, here's the filing date chart for the family base section. F1 has moved forward from September 2017 to March of 2018 for all chargeability China and India. Mexico has also progressed from 1st of December 2007 to 15th of April 2008. Philippines has moved Philippines has stayed the same. F2A category now has become current. It used to be current in the past.

It wasn't current in the last several about a year and half and now it has become current again. So, which is great news. F2B category has also moved forward from March 2017 to August 2017 for China, India and all chargeability. For Mexico, it has moved forward by about 3 months from February to May 2010 and for Philippines, it has stayed the same. F3 category has moved forward from July to November 2012 for all chargeability China and India.

For Mexico, it has remained the same and Philippines also remains the same. F4 category has moved forward by about 2 months from March 2009 to May 2009 for all chargeability and China. India India, it has remained the same. Mexico has remained the same as well, but Philippines has also moved forward from January 2008 to March 2008. So, very good news for family base section. This was expect expect because of those lateral spillovers from 75 countries into the family base section that are backlogged which happens throughout the year.

So, this means that those numbers that are becoming available from those 75 countries are being utilized in the family based section. So, we might not see as many I'm going to hold my thoughts on how many spillover we may see at the end of the year, but with this progression in the family based section we might not see as many visa numbers below us as we thought they were they were they are going to be towards the end of the year in the in the employment based section.

Now, let's switch gears to employment-based section. Now, this is the final action chart for employment-based section.

So, EB1 remains current for all chargeability from March to April. China has moved forward by 1 month from 1st of March 2023 to 1st of April 2023 and same for India. 1st of March 2023 to 1st of April 2023. China Mexico and Philippines remains the same. So, 1 full month of progression for EB1A India and China. EB2, now here's all chargeability becomes current, which is incredible news because now any extra green cards that are available in EB2 rest of the world, they're going to come straight to China and India.

China has remained the same for September 1st 2021, but India EB2 has progressed from September 2013 to July to 15th of July 2014. This is almost 9 months of progression for India EB2, which is incredible news. Now, India EB2 was current in the past, then they retrogressed. My my prediction was in the last 2 years it's these dates are going to progress to end of 2014 and that is what we are seeing right now. So, great news for EB2 India.

Final action has progressed. That means all of these people who have their priority dates before 15th of July 2014 should be getting their green cards pretty soon. If you want my advice, do contact me. How do you nudge USCIS to get your green card while your date is current? It is incredibly important for you to take some actions now so that you can nudge USCIS to get your green card approved because these dates have become current for 9 full months.

Remember, even EB1 has progressed by 1 full year or more than a year in the last several years In the last several months. So, this means that USCIS offices or service centers all over the place are going to be inundated with these current visa numbers giving out green cards, setting up interviews, and so on. So, you need to be on top of your case to get these green cards approved. Who knows what happens in the future?

So, while this is while your dates are current in the final action chart, you should take some actions. Reach out to me if you need some hints from me regarding your case. Now, Mexico and Philippines have also progressed to current becoming current in the final action chart, which is great. EB-3 all chargeability has moved forward by almost 8 months from October 2023 to June 2024, which is great news. China has progressed by about 2 months, and India has remained the same unfortunately for EB-3.

India is stuck at November 2013 for final action chart. Mexico and Philippines have also progressed from October 2023 to June 2024, and so on. Other workers category has also has remained the same for all chargeability. For for China, it has progressed from December 2018 to February of 2019. For India, it has remained the same at November 2013. And for Mexico and Philippines, the date remained the same. Fourth preference category has remained the same across EB certain religious workers category has also remained the same at July of 2022.

And unreserved category for China and India has progressed from June 2060 from August 2016 to September 2016 for China, and from May 2022. And it has remained the same for India at May 2022. Rest of the chart for EB-5 remains current. Now, filing date chart for employment-based category, let's quickly take a look at that. Now, here's the filing date chart for employment-based category. EB-1 remains current for all chargeability.

For China, it remains at 1st of December 2023. Same for India, no change in the filing date chart for India. Mexico and Philippines remains the remain current. EB2 all chargeability remains current. China remains at January of 2022. India, however, has progressed from 1st of November 2014 to 15th of January 2015. So, they have made further progression for India by about 2 and 1/2 months. November, December, and January 2015.

So, this is the first time ever the date has moved forward for EB2 India to January of 2015, which is great news. Which means that some people who did not have an opportunity to submit their 485 can now submit their 485 going into priority dates into January of 2020 2015. Now, Mexico and Philippines remain current. EB3 category has become current for all chargeability, which is great. Any spillover can go into EB3 India.

China has remained the same at 1st of January 2022. India has also progressed. India EB3 has also progressed from August 2014 to 15th of January 2015. So, great news EB2 India and EB3 India that at least you can file for your 485 if you haven't been able to file in the past. So, great news there. Mexico and Mexico has become current and Philippines has remained the same. Other workers category has progressed from June to August for all chargeability.

And then October China remains the same. India has progressed from 15th of August 2014 to 15th of January 2015. Mexico has progressed from 22nd June to 20 22nd June 2022 to 1st of August 2022 and same for Philippines. Rest of the chart for EB5 remains current. Now, let's quickly look at what are the notes down below in the new visa bulletin. So, they are saying that availability of family sponsored and employment sponsored visa.

So, what happens? So, what they are saying is immigrant visa issuance rates for aliens from certain countries have decreased in the light of various administrative actions that have been taking place. We already know that. So, the immigrant visa processing consequently to make the visa numbers available in accordance with the INS section prospective immigrants from other countries to use the immigrant visa numbers that are available in 2026.

So, what they are saying is they are going to be all those visa numbers that are unutilized by those 75 countries are going to be shared within the family based section and also in the employment based section. Now, this is the important point. Note that as additional immigrant visa demands materialize or administration actions are amended, retrogression may be necessary later in the fiscal year to keep the issuance within the annual limits.

This situation is continuously being monitored and necessary adjustments will be made accordingly. So, they are So, they are putting out a cautionary note that although these dates are being advanced based on the information that they have today, these dates could be retrogressed in the future if there are any changes in the administrative policies. So, in my personal opinion, not many changes are going to happen. Things are that are in place are going to stay in place.

It's just my opinion at this point of time. But, note that if things change, retrogression is always a possibility. But, if you ask me, I have I have I have more and more confidence that these dates are going to stay in the next couple of months. Now, how final action is going to progress is going to be something that we need to watch. The final action for EB2 has progressed incredibly to July of 2014, which is great because all those people are going to get their visa numbers or or green cards.

And one thing that I want to point out is because of these dates progression in the filing date chart for EB2 and EB3 India, now they are going hand in hand. Both the dates are at January 15th of 2015. So, there is no need for any downgrades and upgrades at this point of time. Stay in your lane. Just follow what are the final action dates, how they are progressing. They will catch up with January of 2015 by the end of the year.
