I finally [music] found the ultimate power forward build on 2K27. This build can finish strong at the basket with driving dunks [music] and insane putback dunks, can throw pinpoint passes on the break leading to easy points for your teammates, can soar in the air to out-snag any center in the paint [music] both offensively and defensively, has the defense to completely shut [music] down the perimeter with bumps and contest, while also being the perfect rim protector allowing no one to be able to score on you in the paint.
And not only that, but this build can shoot lights out from three [music] even from limitless range. This is my 6'9 defensive demon [music] power forward and this build is broken. Yerrr. What's good, YouTube? It's your boy Swag back at it again with another Today, I have my official power forward build for y'all, man. And I did drop a best power forward build a couple days ago, but that was from community day and those builds were more for playing [music] twos and threes in park.
Now that I've had more time in the builder to lab, I finally made my official 5v5 power forward build. [music] And the best part is this build is also dominant in park, so you can use it in any game mode. [music] And don't forget to hit that like button, hit that sub button, and turn on notifications on any future videos or streams. But without further ado, let's head straight to the build. Starting with the template, we're going to go with power forward position and 6'9 height.
Now, I know a lot of you during my streams were asking me if I went 6'7 or 6'8 for my power forward. And last year for 5v5, those were like the only heights you would normally see. However, this year I went with 6'9 and I don't regret it at all. The reason being is because thresholds for badges are different this year and getting cap breakers is not going to be fast or easy. And being 6'9 gives us everything we would want early on in the year.
So, [music] the build is really good day one as well as getting even better by having the perfect places to put future cap breakers. So, 6'9 height, >> [music] >> max wingspan to be best defensively and to get that 90 steal, and then 232 lbs for weight, which is the heaviest we can be while still having that 82 speed. That completes the template. Let's head straight to the attributes. Starting with the finishing, we're going to go with 71 driving dunk, 40 standing, and a 75 vertical.
Now, 71 in specific is because with future cab breakers, we can get it all the way to an 87 driving dunk, which paired with that 75 vertical gives us that silver posterizer. And then 40 standing for the regular standing dunk packages. Now, even without cab breakers, this build has no problem finishing at the rim. Obviously, you won't be getting any crazy contact dunks on this build to start off, but the 71 dunk does unlock some de- decent packages.
And don't worry about the 40 standing either. Just like every year, if you have any momentum at all, whether you're taking a corner cut or slipping on a pick and roll or whatever the case is, your driving dunk rating will activate. So, even when it looks like you get a standing dunk, it registers your driving, which is why the meter is always going to be big and easy to time. We also do unlock silver aerial wizard, which helps us get these crazy putback dunks, which is really nice as well.
Moving on to shooting, we're going to go with a 78 three for that silver set and fire threshold, and we're not going to touch anything [music] else. You guys have been asking me in my streams if 78 three is enough to shoot consistently, and I definitely believe it is, especially if you fuse plus one your set and fire to gold, which is what I do. As you're seeing in the clips, man, the build is lights out, whether it's off the dribble, shooting the quick stops, or just regular catch and shoots in the corner or at the hash, or even at limitless range, this build with this jump shot >> [music] >> is chicken.
And yes, I will be showing you guys my jump shot, man. Here it is on the screen. Courtney Williams base, Bassie release 1 65%, Boluba release 2 35%, max release, max speed. This jump shot works perfectly for me and my specific build. [music] And if you want to find the best jump shot that's custom-made specifically for you, NBA 2K Labs is the place to go. They have a lot of cool free features, but what you want is under the premium section, the custom jump shot data.
This is where I find all my jump shots for my different builds and different ratings, and it's an absolute game-changer. They're constantly doing in-depth statistical testing on different jump shots to show you which releases and which bases have the biggest green windows than others. If you want to check it out for yourself and have an advantage over your opponents all year long, head over to NBA2KLab.com and use code SWAC for 20% off.
Now, some of you in the builder may notice that just by raising our midi by one, we get one extra shooting token. And if we also raise our three by one, we get another shooting token. But in reality, the only badges we need on this build is silver set and fire, which costs four, and bronze dead eye, which costs three. And if we're fuse plus one-ing our set and fire to gold, then we'll get those four tokens back. So, in this case, it's better to save the attributes by only going 78 three, so we can use those extra attribute points elsewhere on the build.
Moving on to pass accuracy, we're going to go with an 80 pass accuracy, which unlocks silver break starter, silver versatile visionary, and most importantly, Dish Master Takeover. Now, in rec, you want to be able to throw the break effectively so your team can score on the break easily. And just being able to pass the ball quickly is such a benefit overall. As you can see in the clips, whether it's break passes, passes on the drive and kick, or even passes after getting an o-board, your teammates will definitely love you for having pass accuracy on your build.
And in all honesty, 80 pass is like the bare minimum you should have for rec, because even with 80, the break passes can tend to be bad at times. So, pass accuracy is definitely a good place to put future cat breakers, as you can go from 80 all the way to a 90 pass accuracy. >> [music] >> Moving on to rebounding, we're going to go with an 80 O board for that silver crasher and 93 D board. Now, 93 D board in specific seems super random because 90 is Hall of Fame Sing Smasher and you get nothing at 93 D board, [music] but the plan is to put two cap breakers here to get 95 for that gold possession closer.
And because cap breakers seem like they're going to take super long to get, I went with 93 right away so that we only need two cap breakers to get the 95. Another version you can do if you don't care about getting the 95 D board first is you can lower the D board to 90, still getting you Hall of Fame Sing Smasher, and still able to get 95 with caps in the future. And you can raise your pass accuracy all the way to an 87.
[music] Now, this is nice because with just one cap breaker, which you can get at level 40 of the season pass, you can get 89 pass, which gives you that gold break starter and will [music] make your passes even faster and more accurate. But as you can see in the clips, man, the build snags on both ends of the floor, and this is even before maxing out all our badges. Once we do get our two cap breakers and get our rebound to 95 and get all of our fuse badges, the rebounding is only going to get even crazier.
[music] And whether it's park or whether it's rec, elite rebounding is always super valuable. Also, even though we might not have enough tokens to get the silver crasher, once we upgrade our strength to 80, you see that we unlock that muscle rebounding takeover. So, having 80 O board is actually very crucial because without it you won't be able to get any rebounding takeovers at all. Now, finally, my favorite part of the build, the defense.
We're going to start with an 85 perm for that silver challenger as well as 77 agility to get that silver seatbelt. Now, being 6'9 with max wingspan and seatbelt allows you to be so bumpy and covers so much space defensively. And the silver challenger helps a lot with getting those shot contests. Moving on to steal, we're going to completely max it out to a 90 for that gold Interceptor. Now, some of you guys kept asking me if 90 steal is worth it, and my answer is yes, the 90 steal is amazing.
You're able to play every passing lane and even get on ball blitz steals as well. But again, it does depend on play style. If you're not really the type to go for lane steals or blitz steals, and let's say you would rather have more finishing, if you do lower the steal to 77 for silver Interceptor and tweak around the rebounding and passing attributes a little bit, you can get the 87 driving dunk right away for the contact dunks.
So, it is up to you and your preference, but I personally love having the 90 steal on this build, and even more so this year where lane steals feel very strong and very rewarding. Moving on, we're going to go with an 85 interior and an 84 block, which gives us silver paint patroller and silver wall up. Now, this combination of attributes at our 6'9 max wingspan height is the definition of a rim protector. I can honestly let the clip speak for themselves.
As you can see, we stop absolutely everything [music] in the paint, whether it's crazy chase down blocks or doing the new aggressive wall up with the right stick in the paint. It feels like I never get scored on at all. And even with how good slashing and meter dunking is, I have yet to get dunked on in the hundreds of games I've already played. And even if they do get a dunk animation, I either take them out of the dunk completely or force the meter so small that they miss anyways. >> [music] >> Some people in my stream kept asking me if 85 interior was overkill on this build, >> [music] >> but you guys are seeing it for yourselves, man.
The paint defense is amazing, and I love how this build plays defense. Finishing off with the physicals, we're going to max out our speed to an 82 and then put the rest of our attributes on strength for 84, giving us things like silver brick wall and silver bruiser, which is really nice, especially for playing park. And there is my build, man. Remember, if you rather have the 89 pass before getting the 95 D-board, then you should lower the D-board to 90 and raise your pass accuracy 87.
[music] And with one cap breaker, you get the 89 pass for gold break starter. I honestly might remake this build this way with the higher pass because cap breakers seem like they're going to take a long time to get and having the higher pass accuracy right now early for playing wreck is very tempting. And here's my badge loadout for park and my badge loadout for wreck. Pause if you need to. But let me know in the comments what you think about the build, man, and which one out of the three different versions did you like the most?
This one, the higher play making, or the higher finishing with the [music] with the contact dunks? Don't forget to hit that like button, hit that sub button, and turn on notice to not miss out on any future videos or streams. If you guys want the best lock builds, that's the video on the screen right now, man. But until next time, I appreciate y'all. I love y'all. God bless. Peace.
