The Psychology of Writing TikTok Shop Scripts People Beg to Buy From transcript

If you really want to write TikTok Shop scripts that make you hundreds of thousands of dollars, then first you need to understand the psychology behind script writing. So today, for the first time ever, I'm releasing a private recording from inside of there where I walk you through these four stages. At the end, I even give you a full script to test for yourself. So I hope you guys [music] enjoy. So, like I said, we are going to be talking about scripting. And what I wanted to bring you guys through was kind of this like if you remember from the course like this kind of step-by-step what it kind of looks like.

But I wanted to first start with like when looking for inspiration, what am I actually looking like or what am I looking for? So, first I was just scrolling on the front page of the daily virals. I saw one video from Nadi which looks like it had some sort of potential. Maybe it like got me Like what I'm looking for is something that really like intuitively lights me up. Uh and you know, I started on the front page. Uh then I just went to the product page and I looked at some of my favorite products.

Um and the Lufkin is one of them. And then I was like, "Okay, is there anything new?" Uh I might as well just go to the daily virals and show you. So um first I'm going here. Um okay, this started to move. >> jeans are starting to fall down like this >> midday before I um actually started like making the presentation. This is a video I Okay, ton of potential. Top of funnel is finally really getting unlocked with the gatekeeping my A bundle.

I would probably focus on that as well, but it wasn't there when I was looking. Um keep looking through. Uh there was Nadi's video right here. I was like, "Okay, that's a cool video. Maybe I could do that." But then I go to product and then it didn't load. Go to product and I see, "Okay, that video's been there for a while. Uh you know, it's just uh trending audio video. I don't love those, so I'm probably not going to try and replicate that." >> don't understand why everybody >> This video's been going for a month.

I don't know if I really want to replicate that. Another like kind of trending audio, but then we have this right here. >> a lesbian, but I could literally kiss that Korean woman who put me on to this right on the freaking mouth because she said when this loses collagen, you get the foregyna. >> And then so when I see that, I'm like, "Boom, I know exactly what she's doing." So, if I know exactly what she's doing, that makes me a lot more likely to want to actually take it into the next steps and really start breaking it down and basing a script off of it.

So, obviously I can't like Hopefully you just by attending all these calls and like being in conversation with me, you get to the point, "Oh, I see what she's doing." And it's like right off the rip, I know exactly what she did to get these results. So, it's like, "Okay, 2 million views in 4 days. Awesome." But did it convert? So, that's the next step of checking like, "Okay, is this a video that I really want to spend my time on?" Because if it got like two sales but 2 million views, obviously it's not worth the time of actually seeing like going into a deeper dive.

So, I look up her account on the affiliate center. $62,000 of GMV in a single day. That was on May 30th. But I want to double-check that it's actually from that video. So, I go into her page on the Daily Virals, and I look at May 30th, what video is getting the most views? And then we see on that same day, May 30th, that the video that was her best performer was the video that we are looking at. It's very safe to assume that she didn't get 60k of GMV from 63,000 views.

Like maybe she got a couple thousand dollars of GMV, but like 99% of it is from here. And for the people that don't know how to get to that page, you just go on to the 30-day view, and then let's find her. Or we could go to past 3 days, and she'll pop up. So, we could just click this. And then we're just double-checking that that day that she had a GMV spike, she also had a spike with the views of the video. Just basically Uh what's the word?

Cross-checking. Just basically making sure that with every tool in our arsenal, we are making sure that she uh like that video is there. Where did I see the GMV spike? From the Partner Center. Uh so, the Affiliate Center thing. Uh so, you have to make a seller account. Uh it's in the Resources tab how to actually do it. Um this is just like my agency account, but as a creator, you can make a seller account and just never actually sell items.

Um but you just look up Wealth with Laura, and then her account pops up. And then we see here spike like that. >> Real quick, this is a recording from one of the group calls that I do inside of my exclusive community every single week. So, uh it was someone's video that I was reviewing like literally 2 days ago and like I remember that maybe they referenced this video from Caleb Ashty right here. Um but this is a video from uh 4/17, April 17th. And the hook is this. >> I'm not a lesbian, but I could kiss the nurse that said that if you have pity titties that look like this or a pooch that looks like that, your tongue looks like this or you're always good >> So, I'm not a lesbian, but I could kiss the nurse that has whatever or that said whatever.

And then this hook >> I am not a lesbian, but I could literally kiss that Korean woman who put me onto this right on the freaking mouth. Because >> Okay, so hook one and then I see after that >> She said when this loses collagen, you get the forgina. When this loses collagen, you look like grandmama. When this loses collagen, you look like a walking >> So, okay, I recognize this hook. This is just from Sarah. And then we keep going through them. >> you do do not touch it with your fingers.

Because now everybody's walking around with fat fingers from boo >> I recognize this hook. This is from steps. So, I know what she's doing. I'm like, "Okay, if I know what she's doing, I think I can make a variation of that." So, it's like in my head the I guess framework. I'm not a lesbian, but I can kiss. I know this is just crazy, but that's Tik Tok. Uh I'm not a lesbian, but I can kiss the authority figure that recommended this.

So, that's kind of what's working. Okay, is that old goalie hook? Is there any way that like this is just what's in my head the kind of um uh like order that I go through. Uh like okay, proof of concept that old goalie hook is working. Uh so, how did that angle progress? Maybe there's something that happened back then that I could potentially bring back. Um it started with this video right here. >> Shout out to the nurse on here that says if your socks leave a marks around your ankles, your bra leaves those deep lines in your back, you got pity titties that look like this, and a lower pooch that looks like this. >> So, I mean, it's potentially So, that that was what started it.

Then it goes to this. >> I'm not a lesbian, but I can kiss the nurse that said that if you have pity titties that look like this or a pooch that looks like that. >> Like shout out uh whatever, then that one's I'm not a lesbian with different pain points. And then this video right here. >> Shout out to the freaking nurse on here who said that if your socks leave marks around your ankles like this, your bra >> It's just like it's a little difficult because goalie is like you can basically copy a video and then you'll also go viral.

Um but potentially if you wanted to like like this wasn't giving me what I wanted to see in a sense. So, I was like, "Okay, scrap that idea. I'm probably not going to do something with goalie. Um but you know, potentially you could do like just a little idea is uh >> I am not it on the freaking mouth. >> So, like they switched pain points from like socks around the ankles to pity titties. So, here's like you could start with like nasolabial fold.

How do you even nasolabial folds instead instead of vagina. Okay, that's like just a potential thing, but I didn't want to go that route. So then I was just looking at there's no real progression up there. Okay, so what is happening with Volufiline? And so this is kind of what I was talking about before up here. It's like okay, like I I know what you're doing. So we go here. >> So now everyone's walking around with fat fingers from boob filler including myself.

Do you see the difference? >> So her like triple hook, so she has that hook. When this loses collagen, it folds over. When this loses collagen, you get the back. When this loses collagen, you look mad all the time. And when this loses collagen, you get the turkey neck. Luckily Medicube gave us then she's kind of taking Kielce's body structure, but also like this face mapping thing. But Sarah's kind of variation of it. >> collagen, you get a forgina.

She said all of those are clear signs that your skin is starting to lose volume and support. And then I guess a sneak preview into we're going to be going into the bodies. But so spending time really figuring out what's working and like I had ideas that popped into my head as I was going through this step. I mean, I'm not going to spoil them, but they kind of came up and I was like, oh, note that down.

Jot it down. Let me plop that into the sandbox. Whatever. It's like, okay, I maybe I could do a quadruple stack. Maybe I could do whatever. Maybe I could shift what she's like all this sort of stuff. Um, but by just having this understanding, it makes getting to here so much easier. So okay, we understand what's working in the hook. Now let's also start understanding what's working in the body. I know that I've looked at both of these videos a lot of times.

Um, so potentially I'll just do like a quick run through for you guys and then we could like do a full breakdown here. Um, but okay, so do you guys want me to play through the full videos of Steph and Keels or do you want me to just get right to the video that's working right now? Quick poll in the chat. No, don't play through Steph and Keels. That. No, no, don't. So go right to the video. Correct? Yes. Okay, cool. So, we already kind of know what they're doing here.

So Keels uh basically just condensing Steph's video, getting rid of sections here and there. Uh he has his own kind of little framework. And he kind of started by doing new hook, like adding in uh what's it called? Adding in the face mapping on top of Steph's old hook. And then now we have a goalie hook to face map hook through Steph hook. So now it's a triple hook. Lot of hooks. Um, but let's go into like what everything that she is doing means for all this sort of stuff.

Uh, so starting out with the hook. I said hook a lot. Goalie hook. I'm not a lesbian, but I could literally kiss that woman uh, who on the right of the mouth. Then we have the face map hook from Keels because she said when this is collagen for vagina, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Then she has a line where she establishes the problem. So she said that all of these are clear signs and this is also like from an authority figure, you know, because she's a Korean woman.

Uh, so just kind of adding that in. The authority. So what she says is worth more to the viewer. So she said that all these are clear signs that your skin is starting to lose volume and support. You're not ugly, you just have volume loss, all that sort of stuff. Then we have that before and after as the target target demo. So I can say >> that your skin And when this starts to lose for pointing me in the right direction because that was clear signs that your skin is starting to lose volume and support.

I could French kiss her right now for pointing me in the right direction because that was me as a 41-year-old mom with maturing skin. >> So she adds this in, uh, but she's also like kind of relating to the hook. So kind of like closing a loop in a sense, not necessarily. Um, but she's just like making the script kind of congruent. But she adds this in. So I can French kiss her. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you, authority figure, for helping me get the desired transformation, this before and after, um, as a 41-year-old mom, you know, ideal buyer persona. Like she is her. And then we kind of get into Kiel's this is Medicube's 5% Volufiline thick um then Kayla Lorraine's lines. You put it here, here, here, even here. >> do not touch it with your fingers. This is Medicube's 5% Volufiline stick. You put it here, here, here, and even here. >> Let me just for the people that don't know what I'm talking about, let me just pull up Kayla's video.

Then we have uh Steph's hook. >> Here. Whatever you do, do not touch it with your fingers. Because now everybody's walking around with fat fingers from boob filler. >> So again, like really I don't know why it's working, but it is just like hook on top of a hook on top of a hook. So just keeping that in mind for when you're kind of going on to make your video. Or that's what I'm keeping in mind. Uh so then we keep on going through. >> All of these women said they're canceling their filler appointments because look how plump their lips look now.

Honestly, it was the eye trans >> So these are kind of new lines as well. She's kind of making it a making it her own. Um Not necessarily seen in Kiel's or Steph's videos, but still powerful. >> informations that sold me. Because that's exactly where my skin started to mature first. The comments are >> So all these women said they're canceling their lip filler appointments because look how plump their lips are. So like a specific desired transformation, we have that social proof.

We're canceling the worst alternative. And then uh It's also like a very specific use case of like plumping lips. Then we have her personal testimonial uh {slash} customer journey. Uh the eye transformation sold me. That's what got me over the edge of buying, you know, that buyer's journey. That's exactly where my skin starts mature first and you know that prior state. Then we have the same social proof. Uh the There's women in my comments standing behind this that we see in both Kiehl's and uh Stas.

Women standing behind me. Women standing behind it. People standing behind it for Kiehl's's case. Then we just have a quick feature benefit. The Koreans are doing it better, uh which we all know helps bring that PDRN in it, which we all know helps bring skin back to life again. Added PDRN and salmon DNA. Bring skin back to life. Uh right here. Bring skin back to life. Before and afters are insane. Um and then she just has a strong CTA after that. >> women salmon DNA collagen, which we all know helps bring the skin back to life.

Just dropped this over a month ago and already have over half a million people using the Volufiline method. Plus this keeps selling out every time they restock it. Just restocked it and they're running a sale on it, so I'll go ahead and put it down here. If you see it, hurry before it sells out again. >> Okay, so just strong CTA with that social proof of over half a million people are using the Volufiline method. Up here it was uh 200,000 people, quarter million are using the Volufiline method.

Uh same thing for Kiehl's. So they're using all the same lines, just like adding in some things here and there. Um but then a lot of scarcity of like selling out, restock, selling out, whatever. Buy it before it sells out again. Okay, so now we understand that. Where does that bring me in my ideation process of putting it all together? So, again, new hook plus old hooks is working. So, what are some things that I can do?

Couple things that I was thinking about. Uh go for it. That's the point of me writing out a script. Uh so, quadruple hooks was what I felt like the most confident of or just an iteration of the normal hook that is working. Um don't judge me for my ideas here. >> And you're doing it And you're doing it willfully? >> Yeah, it's willfully. Uh so, the first two are kind of tame. Uh um >> [laughter] >> All right. First one is a quadruple hook.

Uh so, my Korean friend told me to try this and she literally has perfect skin. To be honest, I'm not a lesbian, but I could kiss her on the lips for giving me inspiration. Yeah, you guys will get access to this. I always post the uh sandboxes and recordings. Um but I was just thinking, okay, like the old goalie video is working. So, like older proof of concept is working for attaching on top of the uh already working script.

And I was also thinking about like this is just like a recommendation from authority, which is very similar to skateboard B. So, you know, just taking an old hook that is like within the same realm of it. Uh so, maybe it's not going to be like a testing out here goes nothing type of hook, but it's just like, okay, my Korean friend told me to try this and she literally has perfect skin. She has the desired transformation.

Uh and to be honest, I'm not a lesbian, but I can kiss her on the lips. They're just like quadruple hook. And then we go into the vagina or whatever. Um Then another potential quadruple hook is taking from Nadi here a little bit. Uh >> Your daily reminder that if you think you're chopped and you still have dark spots on your face, you're missing out on a different looking version of yourself because when I say I do not recognize my like who am I looking >> So this is basically this similar to you're not ugly, you just have blank.

So I would just go ahead and try. You can do what she did. Um you know, your daily reminder that you're not chopped, you just have uh your daily reminder that if you think you're chopped, but you have sunken under eyes or you have volume loss, uh you're missing out on a transformation. I don't know. I just thought it was too much to do on top of another hook. Uh so I was just like, "Shoutout to the Korean girl on here that said, 'You're not aging like milk.'" Oh, this is also kind of combining it with these like shoutouts. >> Shoutout to the nurse on here that says if you're solved >> A little tiny like combination there.

Um but shoutout to the Korean girl on here that said you're not you don't have to say aging like milk, but just what I thought of. You're not aging like milk, you're just losing volume and support on your face. Or shoutout to the Korean girl on here that said you're not aging like milk, you're just losing volume and support on your face. I'm not lesbian, but I can literally kiss her on the lips and going to the face mapping.

Or then we could go to the iteration. I have something behind this. >> Okay, [clears throat] this right here deserves some diabolical head because look at this. I wish I was joking. This is the first time I've even seen a waist in years. Meanwhile >> So this is from last year, uh but it's very similar to the like I'm not a lesbian, but I could kiss her and then I was like, "Okay." We can probably combine this obviously.

Only if you're comfortable with saying this on the internet. But I'm not a lesbian but I could give the Korean woman that hooked me on to this some I have biological head. Iterating not doing another like hook stack stack. It's just kind of like okay, what what is the next version of this that's a little bit It's kind of like how with Keels um Where are we? So here he goes like this. >> When this loses collagen it folds over.

When this loses collagen you get the back. >> And then So he goes from that to like just a slight iteration but like the nasolabial folds. It's not like a completely I guess it's hook stack and two. But he also has like that AI overlay type of thing. It's like just tiny little shifts. Um Let me go back to here. Okay. So those are the hooks. The body wouldn't really change too much as we keep going through. Just like if we have either hook A hook B or hook C.

Maybe you have to like switch around some things here and there to make it more or less congruent with what we're saying up here. But that aside this is kind of the structure that I would go into from there. So keeping that same because this loses collagen you get the four vagina grandma walking zombie turkey gobbler that's file. Um you could potentially also like I was saying like switch these around and just keep the same exact hook that she started with but for another ideation I don't know.

Another we could have hook B is just keeping it the same. Um besides the point. So then we're going to go into the problem she said and like making sure that this is still positioned from that authority figure. She said that these are all super clear signs that your skin is losing volume and support. And when that happens, another Now I'm adding in a line of like worse alternatives, just going a bit clearer into it. And when that happens, most women just go ahead and get $1,000 tox here, $2,000 filler here, $3,000 laser.

I don't know if laser is like an actual worse alternative here, but just implant it with something that is actually correct. I'm not a woman, uh so I don't necessarily know the correct things. Uh but then that's just going to end up migrating and making you even worse, making that worse alternative not feel as good. Luckily, now we have her like positioned as the guide again and coming from an authority. Uh she put me in the right direction.

You could have that line of being the target demographic if you actually are the target demographic. Um so it depends on kind of what persona is using the scripts. Uh and she showed me Medicube's 5% Belufern stick. You could put it here, here, here, and here. All the use cases. Then we get into Stefanie. Just don't touch it with your finger because now everyone's walking around with fat fingers from boob filler, including myself.

Then we have the personal testimonial, similar to Kiehl's and Stef. Uh uses every morning. I did Belufern, whatever, blah blah blah. It works, makes my skin glassier, it saved my hollow dark under eyes. I mean, look at all these women canceling their filler appointments because how much more plump their lips look. There's people, you know, that's a line from the video that we were looking at uh initially today. And then there's a reason that people are coming into my comments and standing behind it.

The same scam and DNA, whatever. And then we take her exact CTA because I thought it was pretty strong of the social proof of over half a million people using the Belufern method. Plus this keeps selling out every time they restock it. They just restocked it again, there's a sale. Blah blah blah.
