Hey, what's up guys? I'm JB. I'm the founder and head of innovation here at ASRV. And we just launched our fall 2025 collection. Um, and there was one product specifically I wanted to just dive in real quickly because it's a really unique style. It's one that we haven't seen anywhere on the market. Uh, we kind of reversed the classic uh liner short and we created a really unique style. This is the ion mesh liner short with a cotton modal liner.
So, what's unique about this style is the outer shell uh is actually the performance fabric and the inner shell is a natural soft more uh kind of comfortable less of a like performance compression liner where classically what we do is on a liner short is the the internal liner is high performance fabric. It's super compressiony. It's built to have you know your phone in the pocket where this is kind of reversed of that.
So, one of the things that we really like about a classic kind of more, I don't know, basketball mesh short silhouette is it's got a relaxed fit. It's a little bit longer inseam, but we wanted to add something that had a little more of that kind of technical performance element like all of our product designs have. So, we took kind of a relatively classic basketball short silhouette and really innovated when it comes to all the kind of bells and whistles.
So, this style not only has this reflective piping throughout the entire product, the ion mesh fabric, what makes this fabric unique is it's antimicrobial, antibacterial throughout the entire garment. Um, it's got two zipper pockets. So, again, you know, secure storage on both sides. And then the liner is really where it gets interesting. This is actually a style that we had a reference sample. I think it was a Nike short from like probably the8s.
We randomly picked up this short from kind of like a vintage seller. It's something we do. We obviously are always picking up kind of vintage samples, especially back in the day. A lot of the kind of bigger uh more known sportsware brands are they used to manufacture in the US. And so their trims, their quality, their seamage, their fabrics, everything was a little bit different, a little higher quality. There's a little more intention across the board.
And so it was really interesting. We picked up this rand random vintage Nike short and it had a cotton liner. Um, it was a it was a basketball short, I think. And we, you know, we got it, we inspected it, and noticed that it had this natural cotton liner, and we tested it, we checked it out, and we just loved the concept. Uh, nothing that we had seen modernized. I don't think anything like this currently exists on the market.
So, we did our thing. We took our technical knowledge when it comes to fabric innovation, and we engineered a really unique garment that, like I said, to our knowledge, nothing like this exists. We took it and we really evolved it. We added all of our little bells and whistles to a product that classically, you know, is kind of a commodity, right? A basketball jersey short and really created what is like like the pinnacle of that style, right?
So, if you wanted a longer inseam mesh basketball style short in your closet, this is the one that you're going to have forever. Um, it's built in a way that allows it to be really versatile. Like I said, it has the, you know, zippered pockets. Um, it has the drawstring as well on the inside so you can adjust the fit. And then it also has the internal modal cotton liner. So if this is a style that you like, if this type of silhouette, if this fabric is something that you're looking for, this is literally the most elevated version of a vintage basketball jersey short that you're going to find on the market.
And the modal cotton fabric is extremely soft. Kind of like a kind of gives off a boxer feel. It's extremely soft. It's obviously built to be tighter, but it's not compressiony. So, you have, you know, feel secure in it. You're not worried about the short riding up or popping up if you're training or running or playing basketball or anything. Um, so it just adds that kind of level of kind of security across the board.
Super elevated style. one that we wanted to just dive into real quickly because from afar kind of looks a little basic, but really when you get into the details of it, which is what we always do is, you know, we're not trying to always reinvent the wheel. Sometimes we're trying to take classic styles that are loved and really make the best on the market. So, yeah, if you're looking for um kind of a classic basketball short silhouette, it has that kind of relaxed fit, a little longer inseam, but super elevated when it comes to the details, the fabric, and the fact that it's a twoin one.
Super unique style. This is DSG 1118. This is our ion mesh cotton modal liner short, and it pairs really well with the mesh jersey. So, same fabric. Um, you're going to have the same feel, same technology. Uh this is our DSG 1111. And so this is kind of our mesh look for the season. Elevated mesh style. Um you know, and then kind of took the, you know, that old classic jersey aesthetic to really kind of, you know, round out the the story of the collection.
So these two styles are super unique. Fabric is great. Worth a try for sure. Uh just because they're, you know, in hand. It's so much different than, you know, just looking at them online. So these are both from our fall 2025 collection. Uh, it's now live online on the app and in store.
