GTNH 2.9 Beta Speedrun, Day 2 - EV to IV transcript

Okay, I'm back. Okay, I'll do a quick tour cuz I have to update myself a little bit.

Yeah, I'm at 440 ms. Um, I'm going to see if I can put my VPN on. [snorts] Yeah, I'm having a lot of trouble with internet recently, which is kind of rough. I think it is actually on right now. Okay, let's go through it. So, ended off yesterday at the end of HV, basically almost EV. Um, we were just working on getting some titanium up and yeah, we ended up like around here. We were just waiting on the 64 skip and I guess we still had to make these um overnights.

We had some people do it. I don't think there was that many people playing overnights in general, but we are now Eevee. We got the 64 titanium. There's a bunch of quests that I need to claim, so we'll have to go through that in a sec. Um and the base looks relatively simil sim similar I guess. Um we do have A2 now. Very simple storage setup with some asenture. Essentia is now native in the A2 network. So you can actually see it now.

This isn't fake asenture. This is actually just normal as we have a PDM. There is a PDM skip now in 2.9. You don't need to make the rocket to go into the personal dimension, which is really good um for us because we don't build the rocket until a bit later. And if we go in here, looks like we have a planer vortex set up, which is amazing. I'm glad they did that. Um we have a road. I think you can actually customize the pedum with a lot of different things now.

Like, yeah, you can make like different layers now. Have different roads. It looks like we have 1 9 1 153. Yeah. Yep. That's about what I normally do as well. Maybe they did just make these normally, but I know you could add like roads uh into the customization now, which is cool. But yeah, we got this planer vortex. You may know me. I use this a lot basically in every run. Um you can use this to skip a level one progression.

Looks like there's going to be a lot of magic quests that we can cheating. Cheating. I don't think it's by accident. a lot of magic quests that we can claim. Um, we'll go back here. We have a clean room still with the ethereal glass. We have a stabilo spawner. So, we did have we did have this set up earlier or I guess this is for guardians for now. I think we're going to make a node like a decent sized node. Um, so lazy probably set this up.

We did have Stabilo in here. Stab has been nerfed a lot, but that's how we originally got our titanium. There's also a lot of quest rewards for Titania, which I'll go through very shortly, and I'll show you the best ones, especially if you're on a multiplayer run um to claim. We have our witchery setup down here with our starter vis setup. We didn't really need that to be fair since I ended up just getting a million profane ones.

We still got like 21 in here. We got our distillery set up right here. All of these, our bata setup is there. Um, yep, I started with a little bit of batana. We don't really need it till later, so I didn't progress too far. Still got our villages here. Not going to be much use anymore since we have pler vortex. Guess we can still get sodus from it. Um, it looks like we're doing blood magic at the moment. They're making I'm assuming this is I don't know what this is, but something to do with the divinationist sigil.

Maybe they're making divination sigil right now. I don't know. Um, and everything else seems Yeah, pretty much the same. Uh we do have an oil berry farm. So we're actually using oil berries now. Oil berries are really strong. Um they will be nerfed in 2.10, but for 2.9 we're they're just leaving it as they are at the moment and they will nerf them later. It looks like we're not actually using much power. So we'll have to change that.

You see all these distilleries on like not even on. Um yeah, refiner gas is just really strong. But yeah, we're using these to generate some light fuel. So, we can use a chem reactor. Oh, we're actually using oil. We're just converting oil into light fuel. Ah, okay. Okay. So, we're not actually using the oil berries directly. There's a conversion recipe using the chem reactor. Um, if you use these oil a [ __ ] kidding.

If we use these oil berries, [laughter] you can actually convert these oil types into into different types. And yeah, light oil is the best for sulfuric gas. Guess I'll try actually avoid this just to say we didn't cheat. [laughter] And yeah, and yeah, my power setup's still here. Still got the same EBFs. I think we got Nikrome now. Yeah, we got Nikrome coils. We will need more of those soon. I guess we'll be Ivy soonish.

So, we will be working on Vulcanuses very soon. Still got our same steam setup here. Our villager setup has survived overnight. This is where we were getting infinite emeralds. I set this up pretty early in the run. And we also have infinite sodas quartz and raw silicon, which is kind of nice. And this one is where we get ah, someone moved it. Maybe it died. I don't know. But we had a heretic villager here that that yielded us infinite ones.

I don't know if they moved it or or it's dead, but yeah, it is what it is. Okay. Um, I will come up here. I'm going to go claim all the quests. Let me open chat. We have some nukes set up or not set up. We got them crafted. We just need them set up.

And I think I'm sure someone on the server knows how to set up nukes. I think they might be almost in the process of doing it. I see them here. So, got that. And we do have stabil. So, we're going to do that. But, I'm going to go through quests and we need to claim all of the good ones. And I'll show you some of the decent ones that we should be claiming. And we also I think we're saving all the bags for ivy since ivy bags are are literally just the best.

Obviously, there's some specific quests in some of these tabs that are kind of just ridiculously good. I think in I think it's working with oil. It's one of these quests. One of these quests gives you a stack of titanium per person. I'm pretty sure it's in. Not this one.

This one? No, not this one. I should claim them all anyway. Uh, let's just claim all of these. I don't think Do we want this? Surely if we get enough of that, we can uh do the deep dark easily. Can't remember how much cobble you need for deep dark, but I know it's a lot. Uh, we missed this one. Sure. You get cobalt wrench for that quest. That's pretty good. There's some quest down here. Holy [ __ ] Holy [ __ ] I'm just going to claim all these real quick.

[laughter] You see, when you have a lot of people, you get a lot of quests done [laughter] and a majority of the time they are pretty damn good. Oh, we get Oh, we get Eevee circus for this. Keep in mind, we're getting this for every single player falling. No, I just dump everything in. Surely I can just dump everything in. I don't know if they did it or not. [laughter] I'm not going to I'm going to just dump full loot bags in there.

I'm not going to open loot bags and dump that stuff in there. Normally the quests rewards are decent. All right. Is it in mass processing? Maybe. I know the tab. I think it might be fire for the masses. Oh, this one here. This quest gives you 64. Oh, no. This one. This quest gives you 64 titanium ingots and a looted eluding tier 4 Eevee bag and all you need is an Exxon chemical plant controller and the rest is optional.

So, you can get so much titanium this way early on and I guess coins. I was in personal bullet and look how many coins we have. We have 82,000 chemist coins. [laughter] [gasps] This is why I love the vending machine. You get to share coins with everyone. 82,000, which means we could just buy like infinite of this. All right. Well, that's more. I wonder if we have these EV bags or we open them or not. I think I think we can open this one.

Hey, we got Eevee conveyor modules. That's pretty damn good. I think most of these other quests are kind of useless, but I will check. I know the B ones are always useful. Especially the quest bags for bees. Claim all. Oh, and applied to logistics. This is one I'll actually have to go through. Yeah, that's fine. We can just tuck all those in. These will be good because we can go for immediate frenzy frames and then we can just breed all these.

Now, we really need to get this stuff into A2, so we can just craft stuff. It seems like tech progression has just stole a ton, but we have magic up, so that is good at least.

I think we're slower than easy gate pace. I was like watching the FOD while I was eating breakfast for the last run. I think we are slower since we did do Rocket as well. I feel like Rocket helped a lot just because the quests for Rocket are so good. There quite a few decent good quests.

So I feel like in the actual run like on Christmas [ __ ] we go for rocket at the same time but I'm not sure cuz rocket really doesn't take that long. There's nothing really hard about it. It's like what I TNT which you can just buy. Nether stars are easy since we have witch farm. There's nothing really else. I'm so sad that they I'm actually so sad they patched the uh the bee loot bag stuff. So now you can't skip just a frenzy frame.

You actually have to breed the bees for it. not going to lie, it kind of just punishes players that that haven't played the game uh that that have played the game before and know how to skip it and that try to think outside the box. That's kind of the only reason why I'm mad about it. [laughter] All right. Yeah. Nice. All right, let's keep these processing. Bang. This endstone might come in handy later. Not really.
