Account starting balance this morning was 7,900 and some change. So, you know, giving back about 5%. Basically getting back almost all of what I made yesterday. I was up 396 yesterday. So, I'm still up $50 over the last 2 days. But, it's definitely a little

What's up everyone? All right, well today is day 16 of the small account challenge, my second red day. So, right now I'm green 14 out of 16 days, which is good. I'm down $341.73 today. Account starting balance this morning was 7,900 and some change. So, you know, giving back about 5%. Basically getting back almost all of what I made yesterday. I was up 396 yesterday. So, I'm still up $50 over the last 2 days. But, it's definitely a little bit of a bummer.
So, I'll break it down during the recap. It was one trade, one entry, one exit. Didn't want to I While I could take two trades a day from day 10 to day 20 and then three trades a day from day 20 to day 30. I it to me going that deep in the red, got to just stop. Now, if I lost like 20 bucks or maybe 50 or 75, I I probably would have been considering taking a second trade cuz I wouldn't be at so close to kind of my max loss.
Realistically, I set the max loss in one day at 10% of my account. I really don't want to lose that much. So, I'm kind of mentally setting it right about where it is now at 5%. So, $350, $400 for today was appropriate. So, it's a red day recap, but we'll live to trade another day. Kept the loss small, so the small account is still alive, and I'll be back at it first thing tomorrow morning. All right, I'll see you then for day 17.
Well, my recap for the small account today, WHLR, one trade, one entry, one exit, lost 20 cents on 1,600 shares. Bought on a 10-second micro pullback right here looking for the break through 450. Stopped out minus 20 cents at 420. It was worth a try, I thought. Micro pullback after that sign of strength, but it just wasn't able to hold that level. So, today I give back most of what I made yesterday. I was up $396 yesterday.
So, giving back most of what I made yesterday. But, as far as red days go, it's reasonable. So, not not super bummed out. I'm only taking one trade since I am red on that first trade. I don't want to take any more trades and potentially lose more. If that first trade had been like a $20 loss, I'd feel like I'm still in the game, but at this point I don't want to go deeper in the red than this. So, I'm just going to let it be a red day and come back tomorrow for day 17 and hope that the market's a little bit stronger.
So, that's it. Day 16 in the books, second red day in the small account challenge. So, right now I'm green on 14 out of 16 days, which is good, but second red day here on day 16.
