AI PLAYERS ADDON Adds REAL AI Friends to Minecraft Bedrock transcript

So, welcome to the brand new AI players add-on created by Game Mode 1. My name is Ekko, and this add-on has been designed to introduce AI players directly into your Minecraft world, which makes it feel like a multiplayer experience. Now, I was told it adds AI companions that look and behave like real Minecraft players. They are designed to feel like friends, [music] not servants or automation tools. They are going to explore, react to your worlds around you, and make their very own decisions.

Which means if you need a buddy to go mining with, they're going to help you. If you need a buddy to go swimming with, they're going to swim with you. I was told to expect a mix of smart, dumb, funny, and chaotic moments. They said the idea is to recreate the feeling of playing multiplayer with friends, even when you're playing alone or offline. Now, you can play this on your own with just one extra AI companion, or you could have several.

You can kick them, you can ban them, you can invite them, you can do so much more. Now, as a disclaimer, I did get early access. It's not a paid promotion. This one will cost you 830 mine coins. Let's get into this. So, as always, once you do have this installed in your new or pre-existing world, you are going to be given two exact items. One is going to be the instructions book. The other is going to be the admin panel.

Now, the admin panel is where you basically invite new players or you manage your current ones. So, basically yesterday when I was setting this up, I kicked double kiwi and I also kicked the salmon player. I can invite them back in. I can ban them, etc. Or I could go back inside of the invite list and invite all of these. Now, if I don't like anyone here, I can simply refresh the list. And I like the idea of mega parcel.

So, I can tap on them. I can invite them. An invitation has been sent. They don't automatically turn up. It's just like, uh, well, on this occasion, they did. Uh, they're going to get the cow. They're going to get the cow. So, sometimes they'll just do their own thing. Sometimes they'll actually interact with you. So, let's bring back one of the players that I messed around with yesterday, which I think was double Kiwi.

I'm not sure if it it like it it brings them back to where they were previously. Also, you can see above my hot bar where my XP bar is, it's showing me the exact location of the players. Now, where is Yes, I was playing with Kiwi yesterday. I gave them a sword. they they'll they'll react the exact same way as you. So, if you mess around with them and start waving and doing all kinds of things with them, they they'll react to it.

They're gathering food items. So, for the time being, what we do need to do is actually kick these. I feel really sorry for Double Kiwi cuz I've done this twice now. Uh they probably don't want to join back at all. I'm not sure what Mega Parcel is doing. I think they're currently trying to destroy my world. So, as you can see in chat, invitation was sent. They joined. invitation was sent. They joined. They waved. Uh kicked left uh kicked and uh left.

So, let's go through the main instructions book. It says, "Welcome to AI players. For help, check out get started. If you do need to get in contact with the creators, they do have various social medias, including a Discord if you need to report any bugs or give them any suggestions." Then it says, "Get started." So, it says, "The AI players are eager to meet you. You can invite them to your world using the admin panel.

It lets you manage AI players. You can kick, ban, or teleport them to you. It says if you lose your admin panel, you can craft a new one using a pickaxe, an axe, and a copper ingot. So, in terms of playing together, AI players will gather resources and fight monsters. If you take interest in an AI player, they will start helping you out. They'll follow you around and play alongside you. So, like I said, we are going to bring back Double Kiwi one more time because they were very, very interactive with me.

I think I can give them all kinds of items as well. I have no idea where Double Kiwi left the world. I think it was over here somewhere. And again, it can take a couple of minutes sometimes for them to join. I'm not surprised. Hey, hi. See what I mean? Like, they become very, very interested. So, come on. You follow me? We're going to start chopping down the tree. I think I might have a tool for you for this. Hold on.

But some that are interested in you will actually play with you. So I'm curious if I was to like come to me, come to me. If I was to just break this, what's the chances of you like picking them up? Now, I placed down an enchanting table, enchantment table area, cuz I thought they might actually like do that. Hold on. Hold on. Do you not have a pickaxe? Let's give you a pick. Uh, Biscuit, I don't think you had a pick. Uh, I'm hoping the rest of them do have a pick. We're going to do some or a little bit. Just a little bit of mining here. See what happens. So, I'm not cur I'm I'm not aware if they interact with chests, but but I think the longer you're in a world, the better they are going to become.

I'm just going to just do my regular Minecraft stuff and start like mining. Now, bear in mind that you can find where they're at by just looking at your hot bar. Now, one thing it does also outline as well via the admin panel is manage players double kiwi teleport. I can teleport double kiwi to me. They can obviously I'm just curious if they'll interact with the um the oes or not. You know what I'm saying? I'm just super curious if they'll start taking them or not.

My aim right now is to try and find myself a cave waving. [laughter] Come on. I know you. There we go. There we go. A little bit slower than I expected, but they'll still do it. But I also believe the longer you're in a world, the more they adapt to how you play and and how they can actually assist you.

So, I think we are getting close to a cave. Now, what I do know is available inside of this is uh a deep dark and ancient city cuz we've used this seed many, many times. That's going to be quite interesting to see how they react to like a warded. I mean, I could technically use them as baits, right? Technically. Uh, also, hold on. If I do for slashg I do oak log and we do like 10. If I was to like convert these and give them some crafting table.

And then we'll do this as well just to see because the reason why is if we go to uh the guide, we go a tips and tricks. It says AI players have the following abilities. Chopping down trees, mining ores, crafting and smelting items, using weapons and armor, hunting animals, and fighting monsters, returning home to rest. When left alone, they will play Minecraft alongside you while focusing on their own goals. If you spend time with an AI player, they will follow you around and try to help you accomplish your goals.

Emoting near an AI player is the best way to get their attention. If AI player is up to trouble, give them a friendly punch to get them to stop doing what they are doing. Ah, okay. So, if they're doing nothing, can a little touch kind of resets the [laughter] double kiwi thought it was biscuit. And they do eat, too. Maybe they do need some more food. Wait, I wonder if I give them like some more gold. Now, you guys should take this.

We're going to fight a warden. Uh, double kiwi. Come, come, come to me. Hold on. Uh, you don't need these, but I will give you them. Now you're looking a little bit more kitted out. The reason why I'm saying that is I'm curious if they would craft like diamond armor or something.

At least I didn't pay too much attention. I'm going to bring the whole crew back up here now. Uh, that was quite entertaining though. I quite enjoyed that little expedition with my friends there. Um, because I talked about them being able to interact and I left food in here to see if they would take it. Maybe they didn't necessarily need it. I have no idea what was going on there. That was me. Uh, I did chop down some trees.

Eluth has made it back. I think the rest of them are still like still all the way down there, which is fine because now I can talk about homes. AI players are capable of more if you give them a home. Use the ammo panel on a bed to mark it as their home. Place chests nearby for them to put their items inside. So, I'm going to very quickly grab some beds. Grab a couple of different colors here. Uh, we need to we'll do it here.

So, like one, two, one and two. One and two. It says also place some chests, I'm guessing, for their stuff. What it means? So, yeah, they're putting their stuff back on, though. They are putting stuff back on. So, what does it say? But in order for this to work, let's see. Uh, tap on the bed with the Tap on the bed with this. Uh, okay. So, they know they know it's home. Okay. At least they know it's home. That's fine.

Bed belongs to an AI player, which means I do for/ time set midnight. I was to grab guess my own bed in a way. Go. They're going to come back. That's all. I just very quickly sleep. Come on. Need to do forward slashgame rule. Do do this. Yeah. So they they do interact with them. I think because that was my chest. That might be the reason why. But again, like I said, I think the longer you're in a world, the more they are going to start to learn, start to do their own things.

Hi. So snooze claimed this is their chest. They haven't exactly used it, but if I was to like start breaking some things, they might just start picking them up. Cuz I think because they were mine, that might be honestly one of the reasons why. I'm going grab some stuff. There we go. Easy woozy. And if I go to Midnight again, they should all have their own beds. I don't know which one's locked to what though. Which one is locked to what?

We're interested in killing things, which is fine. He was going to blow up any. No, they killed it in time. So, if I was to sleep again, there we go. I can hear the chest just being opened. It's one of the things it did outline that they can do, but do they drown?

We're going on a on a friend's a friend's adventure. [laughter] Okay, I mean, at least they swim. It did say that they could do that. They they do only I will say they do only a limited thing right now. But as I did say when we start to learn or when they start to learn a little bit more in your game and your style they become a little bit a little bit better.

Just going to teleport them all over here and just kind of see how they react to me doing a little bit of wood chopping. Just more biscuit. You can come over too. Manage newsy teleport. Hope none of them actually perished by me doing this by the way. Derpy teleport. So if I was to change my game mode and we just start knocking down some trees like do they start to Come on, guys. Okay. Yeah, they do. They do. And they they do and will start doing their own things because they have their own inventory.

They're pretty useful, too. Hi. Uh I got a mace. I got a I got a mace and stuff for you, but I don't got everything else. Uh some gates apparently. Take them. Like I think if I'm I'm chopping down trees, they're chopping down trees. Just like when we were mining, they were mining. They do adopt those kind of capabilities, which is actually really cool. But I was yet to see them interact with the furnace properly. So once again, what I'd like to do here is just very quickly place down some crafting tables.

Grab myself a little bit of this so we can make ourselves a couple of furnaces very quickly. I don't want them to stop mining, you see. I don't want I don't want I don't want you guys to mine. I want to make these two. What's beautiful about this, the location we're in, can use leaf litter. We can grab all of this. Let's hope they don't steal it from us. And we can go 64. Grab a whole bunch more of this. Put it inside of here.

Obviously, I have to find like some animals. You got any food on you? So, I could be like, you know what? I'm going to put that inside of there. You have any on you? You do? I put that inside there. So, I think I think if they start seeing me do that, they might also do that as well. Again, I think it takes a little bit of time for the AI to kind of kick in and be like, "Hey, see, they're kind of picking some of the stuff up, but also not at the same time." I don't know.

It definitely intrigues me, though. I love the fact that we're working together. That that that's really cool. They're waving again. And if you do like emotes in many different ways, they'll kind of do emo emotes back as well and stuff like that. But yeah, they are actually working with the crafting table. I can see that. We did see that earlier on. I don't know why they're working with uh to be fair, they don't have any they didn't have a pickaxe and stuff, so they're making a pickaxe.

That's pretty cool to see. I guess if you was to give them iron, they might make some iron things to go like diamond maybe. Let's go netherite. Actually, wonder if they'll do anything with netherite. I like give you some netherite. Take some of that. Give you a little hit so you don't get stuck. You give me some of that. There's crafting tables over here. They know exactly where they're at. Hey, double kiwi. Go on. Go on.

I'm giving you a whole bunch. You better make something useful with that. You too, Derpy. They're They're intrigued by it. What about you? Here you go. I haven't Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What did they make? H. So, even with the uh Netherite inside of there, they didn't make what I was expecting them to make. Still going with the wood. Still going with the wood. But I think it's a slow process with some of these.

Yeah, cuz they just threw the netherite ingots on the floor. Yeah, even the cow's not happy with that. It also says credits. Shout out to everyone that has made this possible, by the way, cuz I think this is really, really cool. And I can certainly see myself using this in some of my uh videos where I do need the multiplayer experience to do like damage tests and things like that. Um, although I like the fact that they are AI players and they act like regular players, I would also love the ability to kind of have them static.

They do absolutely nothing at all. Well, hey Kiwi. Me and you have been besties this whole time, haven't we? Um, although you seem to have nothing with you, but they are messing around with the furnace. Nothing inside of there, though. That's what I'm curious about because they do seem to gather items. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If I was to do like H, who can we summon? What's summon another warden? Wonder if they'll fight it.

Come on. We got the whole crew here. They're like, "No, not today. Here we go. Here we go." More interested in me. I mean, to be fair, I could probably be the bait if I switched my game mode. Oh my days, bro. I wonder how I wonder how they they react to me dying. Mars was shaking their head. Oh my days. Hey, you can do this, dude. I'm telling you now. I would I would take these on like like Deep Darks, The Wither, and The Ender Dragon.

You know what? Thoroughly enjoyed this. Do I think it's worth it? Absolutely. It's really fun. I think the AI is very clever. I don't think it's perfect. I do think it could probably need a little bit of tweaking, but it's a game mode one creation. They do update their add-ons. I will say it does take them a little bit of time sometimes, but they definitely update their content. If you're looking for a buddy, then I would definitely recommend the AI players.
