Today, we're only trading for the character circle pins >> here at Epcot. >> This particular set of pins debuted in the park in 2016, and there are a total of six different characters you can get. Here's what they look like. >> As part of a booster pack, they all look pretty similar, and that's exactly why they flood the boards. They're commonly mistaken for the transportation set, which looks like this. But [music] that's not what we're going for today. >> For as long as I can remember, we have always set a goal that we could fail at, and today that is not the case.
Each character we collect today equates to a different prize. And depending on which one we get the most of is what will get us a reward at the end. >> If we find most of [music] Mickey, we'll get a pin of our choice. But if Pooh Bear is the majority, we get to meet any character we want in the park. For Tink, we get a drink. And for Tiger, we win any park snack. If Stitch is the most popular, then we'll ride anything we want in the park.
And lastly, if the Chasure Cat prevails, we'll get any merch from any [music] gift shop. >> Living with the Land is my favorite ride here at Epcot, so I'm hoping for Stitch. I think some of the fall drinks at Joffrey's just debuted. So, I'm hoping for Tink. >> I forgot all about that. Yes, the new pumpkin stuff. I'm with you there. Let's go for Tink. So, go ahead and leave a comment letting us know how many you think we're going to get.
Let's [music] go. You ready? I'm >> ready. >> We have our first board under the ball. We're only looking for the big character circles. Do you know which ones I'm talking about? >> I do anticipate we'll find the Cheshure Cat first, just because I usually see a lot of pink on the boards. I was correct. There's the Cheshure Cat, but also we got a Tink. There's our first two pins. We're going to stack them like this so we have ample space [music] for across and down.
Yes. Okay. Yes. Yes. Yes. There we go. We've got Mickey. Oh, I saw this circle, but it's not the circle we're looking for. So, because Tinker Bell was one of our first finds of the day, it's also going to be our first fun fact. While Tinkerbell herself is often depicted in Disney intros carrying a wand, canonically in their universe, Pixie Holo Fairies don't actually wield wands. In the rare chance in their books that [music] they do wield a wand, they are always borrowed from a different type of fairy known as the greater wanded and the lesser [music] wanded fairies on a different island.
So, I guess if you want to learn more about it, you'll have to read the books. There are two different pin boards in here. One at the front [music] tower and one back at the photo spot. Let's see. Let's see. Yes, we've got a Mickey. Are there any more? I think that's it. We'll grab him. >> I'd already assumed that before we got into finding the rarer pins like Poo and Stitch, we would find a duplicate of another character, but Mickey was not on my radar.
There we go. Yeah, lots of circles, but none of the characters. >> I see circles, but let's [music] take a closer look. Hello. Uh, nope. Nope. Nope. I was so hopeful. [music] >> [music] >> I'm peeking. I'm peeking. Jacob says he thought this one was Tigger, but it is clearly not. >> I see a lot of circles. It looked a little bit darker, but that's the cheshure cat. We got one more. >> [music] >> As we wrap up the front of the park that used to be known as Future World, we have another Cheshure Cat.
And that means it's time for a Cheshure Cat fact. A lot of people don't know that the character's name actually predates the novel Alice in Wonderland by Louisis Carroll. The term comes from a place called Cheshure, England, which is famous for the fact that it had a lot of dairy factories. Due to Cat's [music] love of milk, people would often remark that someone was smiling like a cat from Cheshure. And of course, we've got Nikki, too, but we'll save his fun fact for later.
All right, on to World Showcase. >> No wamp. Hello. How are you? [music] And there we have it. But no new characters. I am extremely shocked. The treasure cat has officially pulled into the lead. And guys, I got to say, I'm kind of disappointed we've only found three from the set. I mentioned how rare it was, but it is not that rare. We still need to find Pooh, Tigger, and Stitch. At this rate, I don't think I care what the prize is.
I just want to get all six. But do not fret, we are finally [music] here in Mexico, and it is my favorite pavilion to trade in. Not only because between inside and outside there are sometimes three to four pin boards, but of course, because of the AC. This is a miniature board now. I feel like it used to be huge. Yes. Oh my gosh, you have two. You've got Tigger and you have Pooh Bear. What a lucky board. Okay, I'll grab Poo Bear and I'll grab Tigger.
Thank you. We are looking for Stitch and Stitch alone. A not here. But Jacob's right. There's Mickey. I am [music] so thrilled to be able to put two new characters on the board. Finally, especially Pooh and Tiger. And because we have another Mickey pin, let's do that Nikki fact that I promised you. This is a pretty common one, but you may not know that Mickey's original name was supposed to be Mortimer Mouse. It was Walt Disney's wife, Lillian, who first suggested the name Mickey on the train [music] ride where he was created.
We had to stop in China to get a water break. And I want to give an updated prediction on which pin I think will win. [music] I think Tinkerbell is going to pull out from behind and be our front runner. I think she's going to win. >> It's definitely not going to be Stitch. I feel like it's going to be the Cheshure Cat or Mickey because they're the obvious choice, but I'm still rooting for the Cheshure Cat. Oh my gosh.
And you have the one that I was hoping for, another Cheshure Cat. Oh, and I almost missed Tigger. Perfect. Continuing on in our order across the top with Winnie the Pooh, we've got a fun fact for you. As many people know, Winnie the Pooh gets his name Winnie from a bear named Winnipeg that the young Christopher Robin first saw at the London Zoo. But the pooh portion of his name actually comes from the name of a swan that the Mil family saw on vacation.
Who knew? Stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch. Let's see. Stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch. I'm going to start a theme song for him. No Stitch, but there's a tank. There she is. Ta. >> We are looking for all these character circles. And I think you have more circle pins than any other board we've seen today. But none of the ones from our set. Look at that. 1 2 3 [music] 4 5 6 7 8 nine circle pins on one.
Oh, 10 if you count that one. >> In front of America, there is a little pretzel card and they have a small pin bad. So definitely don't walk past it unless you check. And the same pin hack applies here in Japan. As you are leaving the pavilion, you will see a cart. And they have a small pin pad as well. Do I see one? Yes. These two are just sticking together today. Let's go. [music] It's pretty obvious Chester Catat is still in a major lead, but now we are adding another poo, handing out their Tiger.
So, Tiger's catching up. Okay, I think I already saw yes, at least one that we need. I think that's all I'm seeing, [music] though. Another Chester cat, but that's at 17 total. I just show you the original short form version we did of this and we actually completed the set which means we found Stitch in that video. We also had a total of 24 [music] pins. So, we're not that far off. Maybe we could tie it. Oh, I thought that yellow one was what we needed, but it's a different set.
It's not Winnie the Pooh. So, a fun bit of trivia about our friend Tigger here is the fact that his nose is never consistently the same color across the Disney cannon. From merchandise to TV appearances and even feature films, you'll see it in every color from pink to burnt orange to brown and even black. >> Oh my gosh. And look what's at the top. >> Tinker Bell, we'll trade you for Ting. I don't think she's going to make a full comeback, but [music] Tinker Bell is now tied for third place.
I don't think I see any on there. [music] I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but this is the last pin board right behind me. It's our last chance to find Stitch. Yeah. Nothing for us. Thank you though. >> Just kidding. Summer forgot a board. So, I'm going to run to the front and check out our last board, the Cheshire Cat, [music] just to seal his victory. How about that? If a two-point lead wasn't enough, now he's ahead by three.
If you've been paying attention to the video, literally at all, then it's clear who won. But we're going to reveal it with a drum roll. Anyways, [music] Chesure Cat. It was no surprise to anyone that he is the victor today. We didn't find any stitch. So, I guess if you have a stitch pin, you're kind of lucky. >> How close was your prediction to what you thought we'd find today? >> And I guess all that leaves us is to find some merchandise.
Do you have any ideas of what you want? >> No, but we can look around creations. After walking around for a bit, I inevitably got a gift for my nanny. Her birthday's at the end of the month, so I can't show you because she watches the videos. Sorry. So, leave a comment and let us know what you want to see us do
