What this transcript is
Every word below is the caption track YouTube publishes for this video, pulled from the video itself and reproduced unchanged. It is not Prepublish's writing, not a summary, and not a re-transcription: it is the video's own published captions. English captions, generated automatically by YouTube, in the video’s original language. Source: the video on YouTube. I think finally finish it was probably the best thing that could possibly happen to me if I didn't have it I would probably still be parting probably not care about how I look or how I feel and just keep going day by day with more drinks in my hand or drugs you know like I was that guy that was 220 pounds you know and I didn't want to work out I wasn't athletic all I cared about was going to the next party my name is Michael Vasquez I'm 32 years old and I live in Inglewood California growing up I really didn't have a father figure you know I didn't really have anybody to come talk to ask for advice I had a stepfather when I was 18 kind of just up and left my mom with the House bill for kids it was really hard on my family I think not having a dad is what makes me a better father I want to be there for him when he needs it I want to give him advice when he can when he asks so when my son was born he weighed a pound and a half he had your regular heartbeat it took about two weeks for me to actually pick him up I couldn't even hold him it really did flip my reality to seen someone so small having so much struggles trying to survive and linked up to all these tubes and not being able to breathe you know it was really like a reality check for me that you know I had to make major decisions in my life because I knew I had to be a role model now and I knew my son needed me the first day I wanted to change my life I didn't know how I started going on YouTube I started looking up workout start asking people in the gym weeks went by and months went by and I sorry I actually seen progress you know from just hard work and trial and there every gym that I walked to is a playground for me you know it's it's like my own little dizzy I'll walk in and when I start getting into it I don't stop you when I workout you know I do a lot of calisthenics other days I'm doing bodybuilding and other days I'm doing breakdancing the great thing about what I do is I combine all of those things together
