It is priced at 830 mine coins, which is £4.19. This add-on is $5. The description does say, "Satisfy your cravings with over 100 plus recipes from frosty delights to sizzling treats. Brew, bake, share the flavor. Tasting is believing. Fire off that oven and dig in. We have to trade with a raccoon. This is a completely different twist on a food related add-on, and I like that. I'm excited to check this out. We have got plenty of food related add-ons already, but I think this one will actually stand out. A very big file size of 22 MGB. I think you guys are going to enjoy this one. There is a lot on offer.
It's also very interactive. Now, once you do have this installed in a new or pre-existing world, you are going to be given two items. One of which is going to be the Nomcraft guide book, but you're also going to be given a cutting board. Now, if you place this down on the ground and tap on it, this is essentially a crafting table, it still offers everything from the vanilla experience, but if you scroll down to the bottom, it also has the modded items from this add-on.
Let's open the guide book. It says, "Welcome to Noncraft, a world of sweet treats, tasty recipes, and raccoons with highly questionable trade deals with over 100 foods to craft, eat, and decorate with." Yes, you can eat them, you can craft them, and you can place them down. I really like that. It then says, "Every recipe is a chance to discover something new. Some are sweet, some are strange, but you won't know until you make them." and then explains, "Explore raccoon villages." Now, as a heads up, I've explored everywhere for these raccoon villages.
They just don't exist. I did reach out to some of the people that did check this add-on out, and they said that they struggled to also find these raccoon villages. But with that being said, that's the only issue I discovered with this add-on. Hopefully, the creators can respond in the comments and let us know what the deal is. Now, talking about the creators, if we go ahead and scroll to the bottom, we do have settings.
Now, this means having placeable apples or not, it's on by default. I'm happy with that. If we go to help and updates, good news is in their change log, they said 1.1 coming soon. I love when marketplace partners tell us that they have a road map planned. It's just really nice to see. And then they also have join our discord. If you guys want to get in contact with the creators, that is how you do it. Maybe you guys can report some issues or give them some suggestions.
Anyway, we must continue. It also explains about what else is available inside of this. There is a pigeon. There's also trash piles. There's also plushies. Honestly, this is a really, really good add-on. Now, if we tap on getting started, it says, "Welcome to Nomcraft Guide. This will help you get started teaching you about crafting, trading, and exploring. We have plants, we have raccoons, and we also have recipes. Now, if we tap on plants, I'm not going to read it all to you.
It just tells you what is on offer. Trees, crops, bushes, vines, and so much more. Now, if we scroll down and tap on trees, these are all of the trees that are available. And yes, they do spawn naturally. apple, almond, banana, cherry, coconut, lemon, lime, uh, litechi, mango, maple. So many different options inside of this. And that's where all of these wood sets do come from. But I'll show you guys how they generate and how they spawn in your world because they don't spawn everywhere.
It is a very balanced add-on. So, just as a heads up before we do head to the wilds, I want to tap on raccoons because it says the villages can be found in warm plains and meadows. I explored everywhere and did not discover one. But what I did do is still head to a meadow to check out these new trees because I want to do the efficiency test. This has become like a craze of mine in add-on reviews, but how beautiful is this, by the way?
Um, and things will spawn naturally on a lot of these trees, which I will show you. Some have to be broken off. These can also produce, obviously, you can get the saplings to place back down, sticks, and I think fruits, depending on what type it's going to be. Um, but this is the regular breaking speed. Let's go. That's how you know the creators have attention to detail here. Efficiency has most certainly been applied here.
And we have a whole entire wood set. This is another add-on that has massively gone under the radar by myself and the whole entire community. If I go ahead and put this in here, you end up with the sweet cherry planks. Can make a crafting table. But I'll show you guys some of the available blocks. So, first off, we do have the logs. They can be chopped as well, which is just so nice to see. Uh, check out how beautiful this is.
I'll go over a bunch of the wood sets, but you can make the stairs, you can make slabs. I think you can make Oh, no doors. Okay, maybe that's coming in the future. Um, but if you tap here, you can see what you're able to make. There's a lot more on offer in this compared to some of the other add-ons we've checked out recently. And again, I was relatively impressed. Now, apparently, there is some new foliage. I'm going to keep doing some wild exploring here because we do have a different tree that has actually generated.
If I did have another complaint about this add-on, some of the information is very lackluster on how it works. So, I did find it a little bit difficult, which I do apologize if certain things in this video aren't explained in great detail. Um, but apparently there's a habiscus and lavender and these are chunks I've not been in. Uh, let's see what this one is real quick. Hold on. And what do we got here? Break this down and see if we get anything from it.
Uh sticks. This is an orange. Okay. So, I think the oranges are meant to grow like on the leaves. And I think that happens over time, providing you're in the chunks. I think, don't quote me on that. I think because back at home when I was placing down the trees, some of them did actually have fruits on. But I'm not going to show you guys each one as we craft them. I'll go back and show you them where I placed them all down.
Well, let's just do a little bit more exploring. What I really liked about this is that the trees don't generate all over the place. Sometimes you'll find them on their own like this. Sometimes you'll find one and two together. Sometimes three and four. There's no sign of what biome you can find certain ones. I think it's just orangey overall because if we do go to the plants and the trees, there's no actual outline at all.
But it does say to plant more, break the leaves to find saplings. Aha. Okay. Okay, so there you go. Um, it does say fruits bearing trees. It says that not only provide fresh ingredients, but also new building materials. So, yeah, I don't know if it's just the case of any tree can generate anywhere. So, this is typically how you're meant to find it. Things like oranges, for example, will spawn on these trees, apples, and stuff like that.
And yeah, they can be placed down. Like I said, very interactive when it comes to this add-on experience. But I haven't found the raccoons and I have not found the new plants. So maybe they have to be traded with. The problem is though, no raccoons equals no new items. Anyway, the show must go on. Let's go through all of the available plants and trees that you can get within this add-on. I think I counted a total of 15 different trees/ saplings that you can find all over the overworld.
So, we'll grab each and every single one. I made life a little bit easier for myself this time. So, we have banana, lime, maple, sweet cherry, starf fruit, peach, orange. We have nutmeg, mango. We then have lychi, lemon, coconut, cinnamon, apple, and almonds. And like I said, I have them all placed down here, and I can show you what they can produce. Now, I know you guys are going to say, "Hey, Ekko, why didn't you place down all of the woods and the trees in order?" Now, I actually started very well with it being stair, stair, stair, stair, slab, slab, slab, slab, etc.
This one was fine, and the reason why is because if we were to type in banana, as you can see here, this is the order for the banana stuff in creative. But the next one here is going to be I think that's a lime. the order is slightly different. So, I would say the creative inventory side of things is a little bit messy. Again, that's just me being a little bit picky. Um, that's stuff that they can definitely fix in the future.
But, we do have ourselves a banana tree. And once again, all of the wood types have the efficiency effect, which I'm I'm absolutely sold on already. I love attention to detail. This is obviously going to produce bananas, which can be placed on the ground. They can obviously be consumed by the player. You end up with a peel. It'd be so funny if you could slip on it. Uh just really, really interactive. This one here is going to be a lime.
These are what the wood types look like. Um there's a lot of light versions, a lot of darker versions as well. This is the whole entire wood family. I was a really big fan of this one, which is maple. Now, the maple has a tree tab, and I have absolutely no idea how to extract maple. Um, and I was reading the guide book inside of getting started recipes. And then if we go to crafting stations and we scroll down to tree sap, the maple tree sap is a special tool used to extract maple syrup from maple trees.
Attach it to a maple tree and over time it will slowly collect syrup for you to harvest. Be patient. Good syrup takes time, but it's worth it. Um, it says crafting a tree tap unlocks getting one from the raccoon trader first. Uh, but no idea how to extract it. I tried to book it. I tried a bottle. Um, so some information is definitely lacking, but again, I'm not going to complain. Uh, this is obviously something that you're able to make a little bit later on.
Next one we do have is cherry. These can be obtained by breaking the the leaves, but again, I think it's a rarity factor. So, if I was to do forward slashenchant at P and we did fortune three, I wonder if this is going to make any difference. I actually don't even know if it does work on leaves, but yeah, you can get them from this, but I found it quite a rare occurrence in order to get them. Now, if I do grab a cherry, do they hang off?
Do they hang off? H. So maybe that's the way they're meant to actually generate with with with this one. I'm not sure. But this is the wood set. These wood sets were were absolutely brilliant. I'm a sucker for the darker wood types. This one right here is going to be a star fruits. And I did see it up here. As you can see, that one was completely fine. It might just appear over time. This one again, really cool. They've gone with a slightly different texture design, which I think works very, very well.
Um, some people might not like it, some people will. I certainly like it. This one here is going to be a peach. We can see some of them up there. I should probably show you guys that all of these can be placed down. Uh, looks really weird that one, though, to be fair with you. What about the maple? Actually, I'm curious. Yes, you can. Oh, wow. Uh, yeah. I wonder if I was like I I can't I'm just wondering if I have to tap on that.
I tried everything, guys. I I promise you. I tried absolutely everything in order to to try and get it. Next one here is going to be the orange. I did show you this one. This is one that we did find uh out on in the wild. This one's going to be nutmeg. Place this one down as well. Tiny. Very, very tiny. This one. This is the wood set for this. I like the bark on this one. I think the bark looks really, really good. Same with this one as well.
And this one is What are you meant to be? This one is a mango. Okay, let's see what the mangoes like, please down. Okay, this one is going to be a litechy. There you go. Quite colorful. Do we have any in the trees? It looks like we do. Uh, this one is going to be a lemon. We have plenty of these generating in this one. What's that? Oh, it's a coconut. Oh. Oh, okay. So, we've got the coconuts again once once again can all be consumed and all of these are used in a ton of recipes.
This is Is it cinnamon? Is it cinnamon? I think it is. Let's check. Uh, how does this one sit in the tree? I'm not sure how to obtain this one. Is it from this way? I think it' be a little bit better to get it this way. But again, no, there's no like explanation behind that stuff. Uh, this one is Apple. It placed down two though. What? I'm curious then. If I was to go into settings and turn this off. Aha. You can't do it.
Uh, not sure why they decided to have that as the only option, though. I don't know why it's doubled. Let's see if we do it again. Is that a bug? That seems like a bug to me. It's like a visual bug than anything else, cuz if you break it, you still only get one. Um, and then the last one we have is going to be an almond. And again, like I said, this one's certainly going to keep you busy. So, I will go over the raccoons.
I noticed two separate spawn eggs available. We have the trash master. And I think there's more textures to this, by the way. Pretty. Yeah, there's a couple of different textures. Now, you're able to trade all of these ingredients for this stuff, but I think I think we're meant to also be able to trade with this one. We can. So, he wants emeralds. So, he wants emeralds. So, if we trade with the raccoon, we're able to get a a pigeon egg.
There's plushies, which I'll go over in a bit. We also have all of the crafting stations. Now, with these, you can craft them anyway, so you don't technically need the raccoon. Um, and you've also got a whole bunch of ingredients. And I think there's meant to be some crops you're able to get. Oh, even these come in different colors, too. I'm pretty sure there's meant to be different seeds and stuff that you're able to get.
So, like a pineapple. Can I place this down? Yeah, cuz you can make pineapple trees. So, if I was to get some bone meal, can we bone meal this? We can. And then we can harvest it and get more of them. But I'm pretty sure pretty sure there's meant to be even more ingredients you're able to get. So, this one is vanilla beans. So, you might have to find a few of these. If I had a request, I think there needs to be an alternative way to get the seeds because again, you might have to find a a ton of these.
But the bigger guys, they they basically give you the actual ingredients. But again, you can make these yourself. You're just going to need the workstations. So, we have pigeons apparently. Um, we did manage to get one. Let's go. If you tap on them, we're like, why are you so tall? Wait, are you a pigeon? packed my own tail again. Wait, it's just like like oneliners. And I think the raccoons I think they also do the same thing, right?
Do they do the same thing? I swear they do the same thing. Yeah, they do. Um, but they're meant to obviously be traded with honestly super interactive this add-on. And and it gets even better a little bit later on. So, according to the guide book, according to the actual raccoons, there's also meant to be like trash bags that you're able to kind of rummage through. It says, "The trash master reigns supreme over all things garbage.
Rumage through dumpsters and garbage piles to find glitter and mysterious goo." Now, that's used in a bunch of recipes. These are all the things that I did find. So, we have a garbage pile, another pile, a trash can, and a garbage pile. Now, because I've just placed these down, nothing's going to be inside of them. But I think over time there's meant to be. So, if I was to kind of in inter Oh, look. See this? They're around there.
If I was to interact with these, do they get mad? They don't. But you're meant to find a couple of items which you will need later on. So, now we get into the crops and plants and all that good stuff. Yeah. See, he's not happy. He is not happy. Neither is the pigeon. Yeah, they're definitely not happy with me rumaging through their stuff. So, according to the guide book, if we go to getting started plants and we check out crops.
So, it tells you about the crops that you're able to get, but again, very lacking in information. It does say some crops can be found in biomes. I did a ton of exploring and couldn't actually find them. So, I don't know if that means we have to break like regular seeds and stuff. Um, but I will show you what is available within this. So, we do Oh, that's that's not what I was meant to do. Uh, for/gp bone meal uh bone meal 64.
I'm guessing that wasn't at full grove. There you go. Okay, there we go. So, this is going to be oats. The next one is going to be cassava. Am I saying that right? Hopefully I am. Cava. I hope I hope I am. Um, anyway, this these can be consumed just regularly. Uh, oats can't, but you have to plant them back down. I think oats are meant to maybe provide something else. Let's check. I'm not sure. These haven't fully grown because I haven't been in the chunks.
I've just been been doing a ton of exploring. Uh, but you can plant them all back down. We don't need these. The next one is going to be ginger. Aha. Okay. So, we managed to get one more of them. This one here is going to be oh my oats. Apparently I post planted down oats twice. Ignore that. Uh two different things here. Number one, if you want rice, it has to be placed in water. Uh and this will provide a bunch of seeds for you very easily.
This one here has to be planted on farmland. And this is the tarot. All of these are going to be used in separate ingredients. As for these types of crops, you're able to get things like blueberries. You're also able to get things like coffee cherries. These right here are going to be dragon fruits. This is mint. These are going to be pineapples. That one is strawberries. And then the last one we have here is is it a habiscus?
No, they're tea seeds. Aha. Okay. So, I'm pretty sure Okay, so they're they're the new crops that you're meant to be looking for. Um not a lot of crops on offer. uh which actually surprised me because the amount of things you're able to make is actually insane. But I imagine this stuff will be updated in the future. One thing I did like inside of plants was the actual vines. Now, when it comes to vines, you've got passion fruit, grapes, and vanilla beans.
They can be placed on the floor like this. I'm just going to grab all of these. They can also be placed on a fence and bone meal as as well. I think it's meant to produce more. Yeah, there you go. So it doesn't actually go away. You can just kind of harvest it. They can also be planted on full ones as well. So you can Oh, wait. No. Maybe that one's not Maybe that one's not ripe yet. Let's take this. Unless they have to be converted.
I know they can go on them. Ah, there you go. Okay, that's much better. As you can see there, which means you could then go ahead and harvest them, I guess. What about this one then? If I was to harvest this one, how would this one work? Does it like Can I take it off now? Can I not to to bow meal it? There you go. Yeah, it just has to be at full growth. It's going to be the same for the the vanilla as well. No, that's not how that one goes.
Did that Did that change into a different one? I think it did. I think that's meant to be vanilla for slashg vanilla beans. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's meant to be the beans. I'm uh vanilla bean. Um, it's meant to go on there, I think. I think. Yeah, there we go. I managed to get it. Yeah. I don't know why it bugged out. Maybe because it was just not fully ripe, I guess. But these are meant to be the things that you're able to find.
The habiscus and the lavender. It can't be converted and into anything. But you're meant to be able to find these out in the wild from my understanding. But, like I said, I did a bunch of searching and I I didn't actually see any. Um, and it was I was definitely in new chunks. I'm not going to show you all of the recipes because again, they can be found in the chopping boards, but also found in the guide book. If you go to recipes, the first one's going to be crafting stations.
So, we've got the chopping/ cutting boards. You've got cutting boards, brewer, carbonator, fridge, oven, teapot, toaster, and tree tap. As a heads up, the oven and the fridge can take a long time until they're ready with the things that they can produce. So, if I was to, let's say I wanted to make an oven, type in oven, and if you don't find one, you can make them. You are going to have to get a whole bunch of these dust.
Um, I think you're meant to find the fairy dusts. No, you can craft the fairy dust, but you need glitter. How do you get glitter? Glitter is made using this. Do you see what I mean? So, this is the reason why I'm showing you in this order, because these are going to be the items that you need. Once you do have glitter, you're then able to make yourself fairy dust. Glitter and fairy dust are used in a bunch of these recipes, right?
So, if I wanted to make myself, let's say I wanted, which was the first one, brewer, right? You need the fairy dust and these items, but they're relatively easy to make as you guys can see there. Now, how do we use this? Because if I was to try and put a book in there, it's the wrong type of item. Well, what actually has to go inside of here is going to be things like latte seeds. Now, like I said, very interactable.
This one doesn't take too long, and it's actually going to fill it up. This is something that you can consume and drink, and I thought it it worked really, really well. Took me a while to figure out how it works, but it it worked really, really well. So, once this is full, tap on it. You now have chai latte. Now, these do give you effects. Speed and haste. I don't like effects. Wish there was a toggle for it to be turned off.
Not going to care enough. However, we can't make the likes of these seeds because if we do go inside of here and type in I think it's latte, as you can see, this is how you make it. So, if I did want to make this, I'd have to get chai tea and and also some milk. Well, the milk isn't a problem. Milk is relatively easy. Inside of this, put a milk bottle and then you get the non milk. As for the other stuff, well, we have to make ourselves tea bags.
So, you have to make tea bags before you can do this. That's right. Why I'm showing you this first. So, we'd have to go inside of here, tap on craftable. I now need to figure out which one to make. Um I was wait, which one is it? I need to make a specific one. It's definitely going to be chai, I think. So, we need to get ourselves Aha. I need a nutmeg. /give at peutsmeg. Now we can make the leaves. This has to go inside of here.
And you have to wait for this to be brewed. Now this takes a little bit of time. Not super long. Not as long as the fridge and the oven, but it takes a little bit of time. And it'll start to kind of make the uh boiling noise. I'm trying to show you guys. That's why I'm still chatting to you. Um so we don't need them. Slowly coming to the boil. Oh, it's so impressive. And when it is ready, just like this one, they usually have a tick on them to indicate that something's in there and it's ready.
Take this out. And then obviously after this, I think we need this and the milk. We can then make the seeds. Do you get my point? And I'm showing you this because I don't think anybody else who made this add-on did show you exactly how this works. And I just don't think the guide book did a very good job in teaching you. Next, we move on to the carbonator. Now, the carbonator is going to require things like syrup. Now, I'm going to make myself a grape one.
If you need to learn how to make a syrup, just type in syrup. Right here's all the different ones you're able to make. Some are going to be a lot more expensive. Once you have this, place it in there. It's going to carbonate it, fill up, and I think it should produce a soda. I think I actually haven't kept an eye on this one before. Okay, now it's finished. We can take this one off. And it's produced a soda. Yeah. Let's try a different one here.
Wow, that really did give me speed jump boost. And uh also gave me weakness as well. Unexpected. Next one. Let's pick a dumpster fizz. There's a lot of really quirky ones. While that's doing its work, we do have the freezer. I have something in here. And we have the chai bobber. Let's consume this. More effects. Haste. You need to get the ingredients first. So, if we go inside of this and type in ingredients, you can see here how you make the specific bobbers.
As you can see, these are a little bit more expensive in terms of recipes. Um, and all you do is let's pick a nice one. Let's go strawberry. I like strawberry. That goes inside of there. You have to wait for it to have a tick on it for it to be ready. This is the dumpster fizz. Uh, probably not a good idea to eat that. I'll let it do its magic and we'll move on to the oven. Now, the oven requires you to make the likes of the tray versions.
This also works for things like Hold on. I've got some more over here. This also works for things like uh popsicles. So, I think I have a popsicle inside of here. I do. I do. We have a cherry one. That one should give you brain freeze. The fact that they don't give you brain freeze, I'm kind of sad. But what we'd have to do is obviously put them inside of there. If you wanted to make a popsicle, go inside of here and just type in pop.
And these are how you make the specific ones. Uh the ingredients are really good, I thought. But as you can see, um Oh, yeah. I didn't show you the popsicle one. Sorry, my bad. When it comes to the cakes, everything's placeable. I I I got to show you guys other other than like they have to be ready for you to place them down. So, we'll put another one inside of there. The soda. Uh, I guess we'll put the TE's in there.
But everything is interactable and placeable down like these. As long as they're ready, they can be placed down and picked up. And I thought that was a very big aspect of this. But we'll grab ourselves a moonlight one. Let's put that inside of there. But these are all of the cakes, I think, that you're able to make, which can be placed down. I think you can take a slice, too, which that can then be placed down. Honestly, this this add-on is really good.
I I know we have a lot of food related ones, but when it comes to competition, the competition is very well healthy when it comes to these based add-ons. Like a banana one, right? A banana. Oh, it's a dumpster one. I'm not eating that one. We had a bad experience with that one. We'll try a fairy one. This one gave me like any fairy abilities. Can I fly? Uh, nope. Nope. But then we have this and this, which can also just be placed down.
So, you need to make jam before you can make anything special inside of here. But, as you can see, that's not currently working. So, what we do need to do is combine our bread and jam together and then that goes in there, which is really weird because you don't actually put jam on your toast until it's been toasted. It's now crafting and doing its work. Also, you can also to make your jams, they have to go inside of the oven as as well.
Just so you guys are aware, if you want to learn how to make the jam, you just literally type in jam and it shows you these as well. Again, the crafting table and the chopping board does a really good job in in showing you guys how this kind of stuff works. Uh, but I I I really love the interactive side. If you had SMPPS, roleplay stuff, I I think people will enjoy this one a lot. Now, we get on to the pigeon. The pigeons.
Um, I did show you guys this. I'm gonna grab myself a couple of different pigeons here. There's items you're able to get from pigeons. All of these, I think it's done by trading, and you can change, I believe, what they're they're wearing. Um, yeah, we gave him cool sunglasses, a nice little hat. It returns the item. I like the hat one. You You can wear this one. Uh, but yeah, they're just Does he not like me? Oh, he does like me.
Can Can you go on my shoulder? It'd be pretty cool if they could go on your shoulder. Um, but there's a lot more in this in this add-on, guys. A lot more. I haven't got to show you them all because there's just that much in it. We had cookies, gingerbread men as well. Berries. I love these. Did they? Let's see the Let's grab the gingerbread. Let's eat this one. Let's eat it. One of the tradeable items is a sparkler, but absolutely no idea how to light this uh or what it does.
Here's a couple more things as well. I also noticed we have uh raccoon ears. I don't know how to get them either. So, but I love this add-on. I I am a huge fan of this. They need to iron out a couple of things, but that's fine. They're not major issues and things that they could certainly fix in in a hot fix. But if you go to game mode creative and I show you everything inside of the creative menu, you'll see how much stuff is actually involved in an add-on like this.
Like, check out all of these. There's obviously going to be plushies as well, and that's something I definitely need to show you guys. So, we'll get rid of all of these and just type in plush. Yeah. So, I'd love to see more expansions on the plushies. I need I need a pigeon plushy. That would be pretty cool. Um, but yeah, these are just little plushies that you're able to collect and people will love this kind of aspect.
Uh, I think you have to trade for them though. I don't think they can be crafted, which again I like because it's a case of going out there and trying to get them all and find the traders. My vision army. Guys, highly recommend this add-on if you are interested. Hope the creators do get involved with the community and explain the whole issue with what's been going on. Um, but I would highly recommend this for a very good
