Hello guys, in this video I will show you my recent test that I wanted to do for a while now. Hello guys, in this video I will show you my recent test that I wanted to do for a while now. I wanted to answer the question, is it worth it to get PvP gear at the start of the global or you should go straight to PVE for PVE and that's it. So for those who are lazy and don't want to watch the whole video, I will tell my uh my results. I guess what I came to is that yes, it is worth it. At least if you do a a hybrid build uh like this, you have uh eight items of PVP gear, es especially if it is defensive items that won't um affect your damage as much.
Only set bonuses will lower a little bit your PV damage boost. And you can have one either earring or guard or a weapon. You can also go full PVP gear. It will be a little harder to do PvE, but if you have your own party, that will be just fine. You will be able to do it and you will be much much stronger in PVP compared to those who will go with PVE gear. Now, that's for the ending of this video, I guess. Now I will show you what I did, what my how I tested it.
Uh, first of all, I had these eight PVP items. You can see what type of bonuses they get have, what type of specs. And I tested it with this PVE gear over here. As you can see, this PVE gear is much better uh than PVP gear in damage. So, I should have dealt much more damage with it compared to PVP gear. Not only PVP gear had an uh debuff set debuff like this minus 15% but also this PVP gear had additional bonuses like for example you can see almost uh 6% additional critical damage boost just on my power drones alone.
Now this is a result of that those runs. As you can see, I did about three runs in dungeon called Citadel on normal because this isn't my main character. It's my alt. And here you will see how much damage I did on each boss with the same party with the same buff but with different type of gear. This was my PvP gear. As you can see on first boss, I actually dealt more damage here than with Y PvE gear. Next, let me show you second boss.
Here is second boss. As you can see, uh on this one, I actually dealt uh more damage uh with PVE gear compared to PVP. Quite a bit more damage actually. And the last one, the final boss. As you can see, again, I dealt more damage with PVP gear. I have another runs uh with PvP gear. So I will show them to you. For example, on second boss, if you remember correct, right? On second boss, I dealt this much damage with PVE gear, 22 and a half million.
And this is the same boss, but second time with PvP gear. I dealt almost the same damage. You can also compare every single stat over here. how many crits I had, what types of skills I used, etc., etc. You can see all everything basically. Everything I did can be compared correctly. This is another run with PvP gear on the final boss. And this is uh another run with PVP gear on first boss. So, what does it show you? It actually shows you that uh 15% PV damage boost on my character on this level doesn't do much.
It is much more effective to have a as you can see proing smite. For example, if I have uh more critical rate crit rate over here, like this is why this this one deals so much more damage because I had smite on almost 50% while here is 45%. And crit rate 86% versus 89%. That actually increased my damage much more. And this is why in for example in this run as you can see I dealt more damage with PvP gear not thanks to crit rate but thanks to firewall being casted better because boss was stationary stationary more and he received more damage from it.
I basically got 2 millions just from this skill alone. So what does this tell you? It it means that with a character this high level uped and as you can see here we go. See uh I have a lot of PVE damage boost like 655% with PvP gear and almost 80% with PVE. But all these stats, PVE damage boost, boss damage boost, cogni damage boost and also pure damage boost, all of the all of them stack together. And uh obviously when you have more than 100% and with buffs you will have about 150 or maybe 200% excess uh damage boost. 15 or even 40% of damage boost doesn't do much for you at that point.
It's just increasing you your damage by like 5% at most, maybe 10% if you're lucky. And obviously when we have such a disparity with between crit rates, your critical may deal much more damage if you're just more lucky in your uh rotation compared to this. At the beginning, you will have a much much more uh extra damage thanks to damage boost because you can have not just uh uh you won't just have debuffs from uh PvP gear, you will also get buffs from crafted gear for example like this.
Every single uh accessory gives you two and a half% PV damage boost. You can also have 5% from weapon and 5% from guard. So you can have additional 22% damage boost from uh crafted gear and uh not lose 20% from uh debuffs for from PVP. So this is an extra 40% PVA damage boost. Yes, that's pretty much that's a that's a lot especially at the very beginning. But here is my point that I'm trying to make with this video. You don't need those extra 40% PVA damage boost to to clear every single uh PVE content.
If you can get if you can deal that deal with that content in PVP gear, you should have PVP gear. That's the only question you should be uh answer. You should ask yourself, can I do every PVP PVE content with PVP gear or not? If you can, then go with it because PvP gear will give you insane advantage in Abby at the early stages of the game and Abby is probably the most important place for us to farm. We will have uh 42 hours a week to farm both all three types of abbies.
And obviously you will have a lot of things to buy from here. Especially you would like to buy stigma shards because getting your skills, stigma skills to 20 level, 20th level or 25th level, 25th level will be really really hard. Getting this gear will be pretty easy. As you can see, it doesn't cost much. But that this one will be will cost a lot. And that's not all. You also go get best drop from Abby which you will be able to sell on the market and make yourself a lot of kina.
Abby drops things like uh for example soul stones. It drops uh it has a higher level higher chances of dropping rahide uh refining stones, spirit stones, raw meat, balour meat and a lot of this type of gear that you will be able to sell. And what's more important, you get a lot of golden items dropped in Abbyss, which will be insanely costly at the beginning of the game because uh you won't get sync stones and you will have uh to buy yourself uh any type of golden gear, unique gear like this to actually get yourself your perks.
At the start, these items will cost about no I don't know how it will be on global obviously, but I estimate it will cost half a million an item. So, Aby's farming will be really really lucrative. That's it. [sighs] I think I made my point. Uh, you may agree with me, you may not. Personally, I think that going for hybrid build with PvP gear and PVE gear is the best way to go. But if you have a good party, going full PVP is also an option for you.
That's it. Now, let the arguing begin. See you later.
