Shania Twain [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] hey Shia you look fantastic and I know you don't do a lot of interviews so thanks for being here I love that you're here I'm happy to be here this is so exciting I'm just I'm really thrilled to be be here too oh good well I'm glad and where are you so you're doing the show in Vegas but when you're not in Vegas doing the show where are you living I have a little triangle my base is Switzerland but I spend a lot of time in Bahamas right now hopping back and forth between Vegas and Bahamas yeah wow that those are all very very different Lifestyles I mean yeah I mean look at that that is amazing to live in the Bahamas like that it's beautiful what do you do you just wake up every day and do that probably yeah I like to get out I love nature I love yeah that looks beautiful doesn't that that that is God's swimming pool pool right there yeah that is really really gorgeous that you get to do that every single day like what how what do you what do you I mean in Switzerland that's beautiful also but this is very it's beautiful there too I mean I love anywhere I love water uh I love nature and of course Bahamas has a lot of water it's gorgeous there the weather's beautiful and I spend a lot of time outside writing music you know it's very it's very tranquil great place to write songs creative yeah I bet and I heard you like to just kind of have a picnic and hang out and and just take a picnic bath B and under a coconut tree or something it's exactly yeah doesn't that sound ideal yeah that's what I have for you well I want to I like I like to live it I like to live the dream whenever I get the chance well we're going to we're you're going to live the dream right now I have a little picnic for you set up can you bring it out please can I borrow your hat w look at that this too cool this is wonderful would you like some champagne yes here's a toast to here's to you all right thanks cheers well someday invite me to the Bahamas and then I'll toast you there because boy that looks like an amazing place to live I feel so spoiled this is Wonder and there's fruit also there's I I don't know that's what we decided to give you as fruit and champagne but that's what it is that's that's what you have so the the show is a huge hit right it's it's doing really really well congratulations it's a b relief and uh really did you did you fear that it wouldn't be well I I I guess you I just wanted I wanted it to be good and and I worked very hard on it I spent you know a whole year just creating it writing it and putting it together so over year actually um so I just feel like I'm over that hump and you're now we're just having fun you know now we're just having fun and and I saw you have horses on the stage and what when did you decide that you should put some horses on the stage and it was that an accident did it wander in from some other show the horse does have accidents so I will say that um during the show but no you know I I I love animals and I wanted to surround myself with things that made me feel comfortable made me feel at home and it had been so many years since I'd been live on stage and I wanted just to have things that I love around me and horse are one of my favorite uh they're my favorite people that's I I know what you're saying I mean and people who love horses love horses love the smell of horses love the feel everything and then you also I I heard your sister is not necessarily a singer but you put her on stage and she's a backup singer she must be somewhat of a singer she is a singer she's got a great voice uh she used to sing with me when we were little kids you know 8 10 years old and just decided it wasn't for her um and all these years later you know putting the show together in Vegas as I was thinking wow you know I really need all my Comforts around me to to get the courage to do it and of course having my sister there was the ultimate support right so I said Carrie you can't just be there behind the scenes you've got to get up there and sing with me and hold my hand through this so vocally she does cuz you know on the records I do a lot of my own backup singing so it's my voice is on there doing a lot of the Harmony and she sounds really identical to me so it was ideal she agreed to do it I said listen if you don't do it I'm not I'm not going to Vegas so she felt a little bit pressured so you've got your you've got a horse on stage you've got your sister on stage yeah you're all you're all set all set yeah little champagne before the show maybe no no I'm like you I don't like to uh drink and work and work it doesn't really well doesn't mix it just would make a different kind of show is what it would do um all right we're going to take
