Today we're going to talk about Claude. So, we're going to kind of ease you into Claude and why I think you should be using it and how to use it and what is it composed of. I'm going to going to going to give you some examples of why it might be beneficial for you in the real estate space. Claude co-work? Who's using Claude co-work? 1 2. Trying to get there today. My goal for today is to get you all to Claude co-work. What is Claude co-work? It's essentially the desktop app version of Claude. It's right here. It can only be accessible through your desktop computer. You need to have somewhat of a newer highly operating, you know, machine. So, if you have a computer that's 10 years old, it might not download.
Just a heads up. I learned that the hard way when I convinced a real estate team of 10 agents to sign up and download it. And then six of them couldn't even download it to their computer. So, just a heads up on that. But, holy cow. It's so darn powerful. I'm going to give you guys some examples. What's up? Welcome. You take a little visit to our office? >> bit. >> You're here. You're We just got started. Ah, shoot. I'm sorry.
Ah, shoot. Well, thank you for Thank you for still showing up. Sorry about that. We We just started. We just started. So, are you using Claude at all? >> Um I actually just kind of started dabbling into it. I'm not a Gemini user. >> It's all good. >> Um but, yeah. >> Cool. All right. So, [clears throat] today we're going to talk about Claude. You might be using another AI. What If If you're using something outside of Claude, what is it?
Gemini? Chat? Usually the answer is chat, right? Um so, what I'm going to show you today is is you can keep using chat. That's cool. Especially if it's learned a lot about you. But, I want to focus on Claude because of the automation, right? So, AI I kind of describe AI 1.0 versus 2.0. AI 1.0, right? We can go to not there, ChatGPT and we can type something in and we get an answer, right? And then we're going to do something with that answer and go and execute.
AI 2.0 is something where you go into a system like Claude or Perplexity computer and you have it perform a task for you where you say, "Hey, in this scenario, run a blog post for me. Go and search the bottom of funnel searches that have been trending right now. Create a blog post on it. And create my image in Canva. Go and do that. Pick the best one. Then go and post my blog post live to my blog and do all this for me on autopilot.
And even better yet, do this four times a day for me every single day. >> That's crazy. >> That's where I'm at with this stuff. >> That's where I wanted to be. >> Right? That's not good. It didn't load it. >> to get so like jazzed up about it. >> Right? Um but you can see here like I taught a class in this room, I don't know, 3 months ago on how to get found by AI. And kind of the the whole objective was like go blog, right?
Go create content. Go create the content that people are searching for. And then usually at the end of the class everyone in the room is like just kind of staring at me. Like they're like, "That's really hard to do, right? Either you got to do it or you got to hire someone to do it." Now where we are, fast forward just a few months, you can have AI do it for you. And that's Claude co-work, okay? So, look at this. It went ahead and and ran all these searches.
It created all of the different sections on how AI wants it structured with an FAQ quite style and questions asked, right? And it even cites sources and all those things and all that stuff that it wants, right? And all I did, you guys, was I just talked to it. So, I would say the theme of like this class and really all the classes with AI is just be curious. Just talk to this thing, right? And you're going to get to that end It's really, really smart.
Right? Just talk to it. Welcome. Come on in, guys. Come on in. Sit wherever. Yeah. Welcome. And having to those tasks for you. I made this This is called a live artifact. Has anyone made any artifacts? Anything like that? They're within Claude. Um we're going to talk about them today. But this is like a living, breathing, live um artifact that I you can share. I'll share it with all of you after after the class. But I just had AI to build this out.
And it just kind of talks about why we I think you all should switch and consider Claude. Or just pay for both. Right? They're $20 a month. You're going to get your value out of them. And it's pretty cool. So this little this little website that I can share with all of you that was whipped up through Claude over here. And um it's going to break down kind of how you get started, pricing. We'll talk about all this stuff today, how to get set up.
But it's also going to give you some starter prompts as well. So. Look at this. My Claude is actually currently working in the background right now. So, um let's get into it. So, what is Claude? It's similar to Chat GPT or Gemini or whatever whatever other one you use. But it has that capability where you can download co-work to the computer and you can use it and create automations. All right? And what this looks like when we sit down here and look at this, you can see when I download this, it's very similar.
Top left corner, what you want to look at is you've got chat, which is just your standard chat on how you ask it questions as if, you know, you're on Chat GPT or Gemini or wherever else. But then you got co-work, which is right here, which is going to be that different ability where you can only access this on a computer on your desktop. Key takeaway. And you've got code, which we're not going to mess with cuz it's a bit more technical with coding.
We're not going to focus on that. All right? So, next up. On the left-hand side, you see over here, we've got tasks, projects. Excuse me. Got something stuck in my throat. We got projects, live artifacts. And we've got dispatch. And then we've also got all of your different scheduled tasks down here. And then you got things that you can pin on the left-hand side. All right? So, what this looks like here is if we just start off and talk to this thing.
Let's just talk to it. Hey, I'm going to teach a class to some real estate agents on why they should consider switching from Chat GPT to Claude Co-work. Can you create a 10- page presentation that I can present to them? Type this in. I could say use my brand style guide. Let's just have it build something. What's great about this is we can have multiple things going on and running in the background. So, you can see over here it was blogging a second ago.
It just ran that. Over here it's it's running an automation where it's scraping my calendar and it's pulling people that I've had meetings with and putting them into my CRM. Um right here it's pulling data from those meetings and pulling phone numbers and emails and putting that into a spreadsheet for me. Um here's another one where it's syncing all of my new orders into our internal CRM. This stuff's all just running in the background, right?
Does this kind of make sense so far how I'm explaining this? Okay, cool. Is there anything you guys are running or building with Claude? Anything? What are we using it for? >> My Claude struggles to hook to my Canva. >> It what? >> My Claude struggles to hook to my Canva. >> Okay. >> So, I don't really know how to like link them together. >> Okay. >> me like it can't use like a third-party site or whatever. >> Let me show you.
Okay? Anyone else using it? >> Um I had a based on that. Um so uh my company provides enterprise edition of that to me from Canada. Will it Will it hook to that >> Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. Yeah, question. What's that? Let me show you. So starting from the starting from the top, I know I kind of jumped in here. I kind of want to tease you guys what we can do here. So if you don't have Claude, go to claude.ai to download it.
All right? >> [snorts] >> Um you're going to log in, right? You can get the app and the extensions over here. All right. So what you're going to want if you're going to go all in on this today, which I recommend you do, is you're going to want to download Claude co-work, Claude to your computer, excuse me, and then you're going to want to download the Claude Chrome extension, okay? Let me show you what those are. Right?
So here's the desktop app right here. And here's the Chrome extension. So I just went to claude.ai/downloads to find all of these. You're going to want to download the desktop app and then the Chrome extension. >> [snorts] >> Does anyone here use Chrome? >> Yes. >> That helps. That helps cuz it's for Chrome, all right? If you don't use Chrome, you're going to want to download Chrome and install the Chrome extension. >> Which [snorts] is a bit of a rub with GPT and Atlas cuz I don't have a Mac. >> What's that? >> Which is a bit of a rub with GPT and Atlas cuz I don't have a Mac. >> Correct. >> And so I can't have Atlas.
Therefore, I'm still a crack. >> Correct. Atlas is only for Mac. You're right. Yep. Yep. So the Claude Chrome extension, what it looks like here is once you install it, it's going to kind of sit up here. You can see here these are extensions. And if you haven't seen kind of the agentic internet browsers and all what those can do, basically you can go anywhere on the internet and you can ask it to do something for you, right?
Hey, go into my Gmail and find any promotional emails that you think I should unsubscribe to. Create a list for me and give me the list and I'll let you know which ones to unsubscribe to for me. Right? I could tell it to do that. It's not going to take over my computer and in theory go and try to perform that task. So, anything you do on the internet that's repetitive, you could have it do you do you for you. Right? It's going to give you a plan that looks good.
Approve plan. Okay, take over my computer. Don't you know, follow my task. It's just going to do it for you. So, Good question. So, common question is like how much power do you give this thing? Right? Start slow. When you first download it, it's going to ask you to right, can I do this? You have to approve that. It's going to have to approve everything you want. But, what you're going to find over time and maybe you already figured this out, right?
I just it it's slower because it has to stop and and and you have to get everything approved. So, as you start to become more comfortable with hey, you're cool. Go ahead and do this for me, right? We give it hey, no longer ask me for this. I allow you to go and do this moving into the future. Go and do it. Right? Um >> But, it'll never send an email for you. >> Correct. Not not unless you do something more advanced. Correct.
Yes. It will not. It will draft an email for you. >> Can you do that by task or is it just a blanket hey, carte blanche do whatever you want for today? >> What's your question? >> So, when you were saying about the different tasks and stuff like that and that over time you're going to get tired of having to approve them, do you give it permission per task? In other words, I want you to search my email today and then you tell it to do the same thing tomorrow and and and from then on you just don't have it to a point where you have to approve everything? >> Correct. >> And is it by only by that command or is it just this hey, once you once you let the the cat out of the bag, you're not it ain't going back in. >> Uh it once you let the cat out of the bag, I mean in theory you could take back that permission, right?
You could dis- disconnect it or turn it off, right? >> command or is it a blanket, "Hey, you can do everything you want."? >> No, everything's going to have to get approved, right? Even even within Claude co-work, right? Hey, can I go browse the internet and go search this and log in here, right? Even the logins, right? You have to decide, are you going to log in every time or are you going to give it that permission to or are you going to give it its the credentials and have it stored in there so it can do it for you?
You make all those decisions on where you want it to go. And we're going to get a little little into the security things. Right, the last thing we wanted to do is obviously logging into our bank account, right? Which I think should scare all of us. Um but he even just giving it access to your email, right? I mean, that's a big decision that you have to decide, you know? Um so here's the Claude Chrome extension. I keep my email pretty clean, but it did make some notes here on what it thinks are some promotional emails, right?
And I could say, "All right, cool. Um I don't want Let's see, what's this one?" I'm actually I kind of like all these, so I'm going to not actually have it unsubscribe to any of these. I sat down with an agent uh one time. This is the first thing I showed her and she was so pumped. It found like 70 spam emails and she just unsubscribed to all of them and was very excited. So, this is the Claude Chrome extension, right? >> the promo emails that you don't >> Totally. >> click on.
Those are in there and you can't unsubscribe from them either. >> Totally. Now Now, here's the catch with this, right? >> delete them automatically cuz you don't want to see them? >> It it it I've never asked it to delete, but it will unsubscribe for you, right? But But here's the deal, it's slow, right? It's It's it you're going to be able to do these tasks faster than it, but the goal is is you don't have to do the task.
This is running in the background doing its thing and then I'm I'm over here, right? On another screen living my life, right? So, just be mindful of that. It's slow. Sometimes Sometimes it's clunky and it doesn't get it right or it gets stuck, right? Again, it's ever evolving. It's only going to get better, but just be mindful of that. But the fact that it can go kind of anywhere on the internet and do things for you, that's pretty darn cool.
So, that's just the Chrome extension, right? Now, we pair that with Claude CoWork. So, Claude CoWork is downloaded to our computer. Again, you need somewhat of a well-operating machine that actually can download and run it. So, just a heads-up on that. And then, if you want to use CoWork, you're going to have to spend the $20 per month plan. You're going to have to pay the 20 bucks, right? And then, you're going to have access to it.
And And you can see here again, chat, CoWork, and code. Okay? And here is CoWork. Here's the other thing that's cool about CoWork is it's on your computer. It's an app. And why it's different is you can give it access to folders on your computer, right? So, it can access files, download things, upload things. And you can create a folder for CoWork and kind of keep stuff in there and have it access access that as well.
Which is pretty neat, right? So, it could go into the Claude Chrome extension, build a file, I don't know, build a report out of PPMLS, download it to that folder, right? Which is Which is neat. So, that's that's where we're kind of kicking things up a notch here. All right? Let me go back over here to this. What did it make for me? Oh, it has some questions for me. What format do you want this for? Gamma. Um let's just do sure, do gamma.
Let's do mostly beginners. Um Now, keep it keep it there. Sure. All right, so it'll build something for me. I'm going to build a few other things for you guys that I just run in the background here just so you can kind of see it. Um what's neat about this is I want to talk now about CoWork and what it can do. So, first things first, you're going to sign up, you're going to pay the 20 bucks a month. Let's go into the settings of this and just take a look of what we've got going on here. >> [snorts] >> Okay?
So, we're going to fill in the basics, our name, our instructions. Here's what I did. Whatever other AI you're using, like Gemini, chat, whatever, if you already took the time to kind of personalize it and train it, I would go into that system like I did, and I would just ask it, "Hey, I'm switching over to Claude. I've got instructions. If you were going to fill this in right for instructions for Claude, what would you say?" I literally had chat do that for me, and then I just copied and pasted that in here.
Cuz I've trained chat so much on who I am, I don't need to start over. Okay? So, just work with that other AI, right? Cuz I get it, you got to you got to switch and it's going to it's going to be a little bit of a learning curve. >> So, when you're doing the settings, it'll actually prompt you and ask you whether you want to do that. >> Let me show you. Yep. So, down here, you got your notifications. Let's keep going and do account next level down.
You can see where all the devices are, right? Privacy, all that. I leave those off. I don't really share my data if I don't have to to a certain degree. Down here, your plan. You can see here I'm on the max plan, that's $100 a month. Here's the deal. When you first get going and like start messing with this thing and like start building out your own skills, right? And automations, you're going to spend credits, right?
You're going to spend tokens, and you will run out of tokens, right? You ever go to an arcade, you get tokens, they run out. Compared to say chat, right? Or even Gemini, it's pretty hard to kind of get that all used up on that, even the $20 a month version. But here, if you start messing with it and asking it things and going deep on it, eventually you're going to run out of tokens. And I find that that's just kind of part of the process of think I think of like setting it up.
So, just be prepared for that. If you really lean into this, you're probably going to have to spend some extra money. You can buy additional usage, right? Like I I have I gave it the um the ability to reload up to $20 a month if I'm going over, cuz I might just be kind of in the middle of prompting it and I don't want to stop. So then I'll I'll give it some extra tokens um so we can we can complete the task. Or I just found I'm so deep into this I upgraded to $100 a month because I'm just building all these things and then I'll probably drop back down to $20 a month once it's all set up.
Right? So just just just be prepared for that. Yeah. That you will run out of tokens if you're if you're leaning into this. Exactly. Sure. And you can see your usage down here, right? Here's that extra usage, right? I gave it a $20 monthly spend limit where it can automatically buy into that if I want to. All right, down here below this this is capabilities. This is important. Uh memory, make sure these are turned on.
Search and reference chats, generate memory from chat history. Um the big one you're going to want is right here which says import memory from other AI providers. Right? So what are the other AI you're using? Let's just import that memory over into Claude. That way it already knows who you are and it knows about you. So if you click start import, it's going to give you a little prompt. Copy this prompt into a chat with your other AI provider.
I'll just copy this. I'll go over into say chat GPT. I'll paste it in here and now it's going to complete this prompt and give me everything I need. I'm then going to copy the results out of chat and paste them back into Claude. So now I've imported memory into Claude so it knows more about me. All right? So definitely do that. Correct. Yep, exactly. So it'll do that. It'll paste it in. That's going to save you some time right there importing your memory.
So make sure you do that. That's within the capabilities section. All right, moving down. Visuals, most of these should be turned on, all right? So, just go through this. They should all be turned at least in my opinion turned on. Next up is connectors. We're going to talk about this here in a moment. Claude code again is more coding. We're not messing with Claude code. That's the third other option. Down below that is co-work, all right?
And um one thing that you can turn on if you want to try out is called dispatch. Has anyone Has anyone tried out dispatch or know what that is? Dispatch is pretty neat. So, what it is is imagine this. You've got your Claude running. Your computer is open. It It's It's whatever. It's at your office. It's at home. It's at your desk. You're out in the field, and I don't know, you need it to to run a report for you or do something for you. >> [snorts] >> You could open up your phone, open up the Claude app, and click on dispatch right here.
And I could I could talk to my Claude right now and have it go and do run a report for me, right? Hey, go to PPMLS website and run a search for I don't know, the the homes that just sold in the last 12 months in uh whatever, El Paso County. I just want to show you what happens, right? I click this. This is now going to feed over in the dispatch over here, which is right here under dispatch, right? And eventually it's going to pop in, and it's it can go and run that task for me. >> But your computer has to be spooling or you can't put it to sleep. >> Your computer has to be on.
That's the catch. So, your computer has to be on and running. So, here's what's happening. I don't know if you heard about this in the news. Um a lot of people are going out here. Here it is, PPMLS. A lot of people are going out and they're buying Mac minis. They're like out of stock, right? They're out of stock. Because Because you can get it for Correct. You can get it for like 500 bucks. It's a separate machine, right?
You you you start brand new. There's nothing on there, right? You only log in and give it access to the things you want it to. So, it's fresh. And you should leave it on. You leave it running. And then it's it's it's running in the background and performing whatever scheduled tasks. Right? It's operating off a dispatch. It's doing all those things. >> So, yeah. It's on lock screen or whatever. That's fine, >> You want to leave it.
You want to leave it on and running. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. So, um that's kind of where this is going. >> So, what's the big deal with the Mac Mini compared to I got to buy a Lenovo? Is it just because >> I think it's I think it's just cuz it's so cheap, right? And it's it's fast. It's powerful. You got to connect obviously a monitor to it. >> I'm confused cuz you were just talking about Chrome and being connected to Chrome which is fast.
I mean, which which does it auto cloud or we like going back to the stupid question at the beginning? We're talking about Mac-based AI versus Windows-based AI programs. Now, you're talking buying a a little new Mac. >> You can you can run Chrome on your Mac Mini. >> You can run You can run Chrome on any computer. You can run Claude on right PC or Mac. >> Okay. >> Um I was just talking about >> But for co-work, I think you have to be if you're going to use the extension, you have to be in Chrome. >> You're going to want Correct. >> Chrome on your Mac Mini. >> Okay. >> Correct. >> Okay.
And your And your question to him is wouldn't it be just as cheap to get a Lenovo, you know? >> Yeah, as long as it's powerful >> As long as it's Yeah, as long as it's fast enough, right? To run and and stay on. >> should be? Because when you go to the store, they're not going to tell you that. >> I'm a Mac person, so I'm on a Mac. It's simple as that. >> I am too. >> If you tell them what you're on, they'll know. >> So, it it it would it would log in for you at PPA, all right? >> Yep. >> couldn't get mine?
I had to do it through my Chrome extension. >> Oh, really? >> So, I'm going to have to go back and fix that. >> Let me Let me run another automation for you guys. Check this out. I know, I'm moving. That's why That's why I'm recording it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> [clears throat] >> Yeah. I know. We're kind of We're kind of taking it at all levels here, too, for everybody. Just know Just know download the Claude co-work the Claude app and the Claude Chrome extension, and you're you're already off to a great start.
All right. Just stop there. Uh here's that result earlier that I when I asked it, "Hey, import my memory, right?" And I would just copy and paste all this in. All right. Back here, let's [snorts] finish up the settings here. I just want to show you some stuff. We're going to talk about Claude and Chrome. Make sure this is on. Look here. Look at this. >> [sighs] [snorts] >> Block sites. I just You know, I didn't I just [clears throat] went into Claude and said, >> [snorts] >> "Hey, what are all some Like what are a bunch of block sites that I should probably have you not go to, you know, financial websites and all that?" And it gave me a big list.
And then I just I just copied and pasted that in here and added You can add um bulk add all the websites right here. So, I've got like them all my all my banking websites in here and some other stuff I didn't think of. So, that way a little bit more security again, right? Cuz the big fear is is what if this thing takes over and logs into my Schwab account, right? Obviously, that'd be really bad. So, I added it up here as a block site.
So, a little bit more security here. You can add that. Next up, down here, desktop app, all these different settings. I'm not going to get too far into these, but might make sense to go through them. Let's go back. All right. Now, I want to show you some more things. Check this out. Let me go to plus right here on the search box. If I hit this plus, you're going to see some different things. You're going to see add files, add folder.
This is where you could give it access to a folder and it can work out of that folder. So, maybe I'll give it access to my Claude Co-work folder and it can work out of that. And then down below here, we got skills, connectors, and plugins. So, let's talk about each of them. Skills, let me go in here and click manage skills. >> [clears throat] >> You're You're going to see a bunch of skills that are already given to you within here that you can add if you want.
Then you can create your own skills. You can see here I've created these skills. Here's one that helps me create and review all of my receipts every month and puts them into a spreadsheet. Uh here's one that does research for me and figures out which your ads are the best performing Facebook ads that I should run. Right? Here's one that is my working style. I'm going to share all this I'm going to share this one with you guys today, where it just goes through how do I work, tools I use, and just knows more about me.
Um here's my brand voice. I'm going to give this one to you guys today as well, where it's just going to go through and it's going to understand more about kind of who I am. And here's what I did. Again, I went back cuz I'm a big chat GPT user and it knows so much about me and I just said, "Hey, I'm building out this skill, what do you think it should know about me based off of this prompt?" And then it helped build this out for me.
Right? Here's my about me. Right? Who am I? What do I do? And here's how this works. When you load Claude Co-work and you're going to go and ask it something, it's going to automatically go through your skills and review whatever skills it finds necessary to go and complete that task and then go forward and and go and do that task, right? So, these skills like an about me, right, are probably important to create. Here's your blog post writer.
Here's one that creates market stats reports out of the RE Colorado, right? Um so, you can see here list goes on, lots of different ideas on stuff that you can create. And really, what is a skill? Think of it as just To its core, it's a prompt, right? And what is a prompt? Prompt is just a set of instructions to get you from point A to point Z to give you an end result. So, you have to explain it every single time, all right? >> So, do you Do you load a skill every time you go to do a function? >> I do. >> So, you go into the window, then you go and you open up one of those files.
This particular one is all your skills, and then you tell it run this, and then like are you typing it right below that? >> Let me show you. I'll show you. >> Perfect. >> It's a question. >> Let this guy do the softball for you there, and >> Yeah. Yeah, yeah. >> I don't know how many [clears throat] what the audience is >> Does everyone kind of understand skills though? It's It's a prompt, right? It's information. It's instructions.
Hey, go search the internet for the bottom of funnel content that people are looking for if they're looking to buy a home in Colorado Springs. Then go research that topic and create a 2,000-word blog post. Then go research the internet and find other hyperlinked content that we can add in there, and then structure it in this way. Then go into Canva and create an image for that blog post. Then go into my Wix, where I host my blog, and publish that blog post.
That's just a skill. It's just a very, very detailed prompt that I've just created that runs. >> So, it's kind of in a flow of flowchart fashion. And the other piece that's really important to that, for anybody who doesn't notice in the room, is if you give it a skill, it will only work on that skill instead of running through that whole list of stuff, and it will keep this thing running really fast instead of getting mired in all of those skills all at one time and having to search for all of that information to piece it all together for it to work at an optimal level. >> Yep. >> Right? >> Yep.
Yep. Thank you. >> And our giving it roles is the same importance well, like when you say you are a top-level real estate coach. >> Sure. >> You tell it. >> And that's usually built into the skill, right? Same thing as a prompt, yeah. >> of the same. >> Yep, put it all in the skill. The skill's everything. The skill's key. All right, below that are connectors. Okay? So what are these connectors? These are cool. There's tons of them.
I highly recommend you taking some time to go through them. You can search for them. You can add more more connectors. I've got everything from AllTrails to Audible to Bitly to Calendly to Canva to Gamma to Gmail to Google Calendar to Google Drive to Mailchimp to Spotify, right? All these things, Zapier, Zoom for Claude, and then of course our Claude and Chrome down here. Right? >> [snorts] >> If you want to see what connectors are available, I can click this plus button here and click browse connectors.
And now you can see you can slowly go through, I mean the list, they just keep adding more and more in here. Right? Is your CRM in there? Is your where you host your website in there? Right? All those different connectors are where you're going to want to go through and start connecting them and decide how much access you want to give them. By default, it should be pretty limited and you can kind of go through here and literally decide for every single interactive tool what power are you going to give it, right?
Does it need approval or does it not? This, um >> APIs? >> I don't know. I don't I honestly don't know. I I I know I think it is because you have to log in and connect it and then it automatically connects live, say to Canva, and then it can access it and read it. That's how I understand it, and then it's in here. Um what else? Again, you decide how much access you want to give it. You can see here in Canva, I've kind of given it full go for it, right?
Generate the design, download it, export it. You got the power, right? Why are connectors important? Connectors are important because I find that when we run a skill, where again, let's go back to the blog post example. Write my blog post, then go connect to Canva and create the image for the blog post. It is much more efficient and much more fluid working through a connector such as Canva and automatically accessing it right within the app versus opening up an internet browser.
Then accessing and using the Claude Chrome extension and going to canva.com and building it that way. I just find that to be much slower and much clunkier. You guys kind of tracking it Are you tracking it? Am I explaining that okay? Right? Claude Chrome extension, it can be a little bit clunky, right? When I when I go over here and I ask it to go build something on Canva, it's a bit clunkier versus if you can automatically use a connector within Claude.
It just is smoother. >> So effectively are you giving it permission to go use that app with your sign-in credentials? >> Correct. >> Plugged in. >> Correct. >> You just click on it, it opens just like a phone. >> but instead of it opening up a browser and using Claude Chrome extension, it's all doing it behind the scenes building it for you. Yes. >> So do you use this connector to gain into a remote app? >> I wish. >> Mhm.
I tried to use the Google Chrome to go to Amazon, but it said I can't do it. Is there a way to do do? >> That's a good question. Let's try. Let's find out. Um >> You would have to log in at least at this point. >> You would. >> After you got in, then I think it'll work on [snorts] it. >> You'd have to log in, or if you're building a skill, you would bake the login credentials into the skill. >> is is this two-factor authentication. >> Yeah, exactly.
Now that they started doing that this year. >> Does it ask you every time? >> No, it doesn't. >> Does it? >> If you tell it to save yourself on that particular >> Yeah. >> browser >> Okay. >> then you can use it for a period of time and it's going to reactivate. >> 90 days. Cuz Ari Coral did the same thing, but I find it only asked me rarely now. Right? So, here's what. >> I'm sorry. I used the restroom. >> Are you going to bake it into the skill? >> Yeah.
Yeah, and and and it will tell you exactly how to do it, right? >> So, you can still create any number of skills for this, whether it's you're searching a neighborhood or a zip code or >> Mhm. Let me run an example for you guys. Well, first let me try the BPMLS one. >> multiple skills for this, but then you just would have to log in physically to make it work and then >> Yeah. Or imagine a world where you had a separate computer that was just sitting that was already logged in.
That's your Mac Mini, or whatever computer, right? And then it's just running 24/7 and everything is already logged in that you wanted to have access to. >> Except it logs you out regularly. >> All right, well then all right. We're working on it. We're working on it. Let me just ask you real quick. Can you pull anything that sold in the last 365 days within El Paso County on this search? I don't know if it can do it.
Let's see. I don't want to get too in the weeds here, but like there's different >> It's asking you >> Oh, I see. >> You got to approve a bunch of stuff. >> Approve. Ask before acting, or maybe I just say act without asking. Then it says, "High risk." >> It's pretty >> So, you might find out more than you want to know. >> Yeah. So, I don't know. Um it it kind of struggles a little bit with RE Colorado, too, sometimes.
And this is where it gets it's a little bit clunky. Right? >> So, so you need the you need the running memory, but everything's still cloud-based, so you're not like taking up storage, right? >> You're taking up storage on your computer with certain things, like small small like files, right? >> Yeah, yeah. >> So, now it's doing it. >> Is it working? >> Yeah, it just kind of came over and I thought I saw it. >> It's running in a technical >> So, it's technically technically it's got to what?
Uncheck all these, type in El Paso. >> I'm unable to Yeah, this is the same thing I get. >> Oh, really? >> It's unable to interact with it. >> What's it say? Uh do it anyway. Sometimes it does push back and sometimes I I just force it and then I kind of get through. I don't know. Right? All right. Let me go to RE Colorado, too, while we're at it. >> Yeah, I haven't tried it. >> Let's take a look. >> Yeah, short of serving short of having to set up 500 searches and figure out which one it is. >> Right. >> [snorts] >> That's interesting.
So, I won't do it. You know what? We'll do it. Advanced Dancer, Perplexity comment will do it for you. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. >> Into the [snorts] MLS >> Yep. Comment's the smartest agentic AI internet browser. And That's a class for another day. >> [laughter] >> That's what That's what you said. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, and I found it yesterday in this class I was in yesterday. It's a conference and they're saying website where it brings up >> Yeah.
Yeah, right. I'm good till 11:30. Let's Let's run one though for RE Colorado. You guys ever Does anyone use RE Colorado? Am I a bad audience? Good. Does anyone ever use InfoSparks in in Colorado, like showing time data or anything like that? I built this. >> We use showing time but we don't [snorts] have info sparks. >> I do I use RE Colorado mostly. >> Do we have info sparks down here? >> No, PPAR. >> Dang. So, do we just go showingtime.com? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> This is PPAR.
I don't know if you've heard of us, but we're kind of redneck down here. We are not up to speed. >> A little bit different. You guys finally Yeah, they I had to call them up. They finally let me pay for the rest of the year. I was like it's tiring to get a monthly bill and couldn't couldn't get to log in. Uh so, check this out. I built a skill card market activity report. So, how do you access your skills? Right here, if I go plus skills I could find the market activity report skill.
Where the heck is that thing? And select it. >> RE You need it RE market report. >> Okay. Or I could go and just do a forward slash RE Colorado market report. So, any skill I want to load in, I could add as many as I want and then just start going off of that. I could ask it something, but I don't actually even need to. I can just click enter. And [snorts] now it should ask me a series of questions. It's going to ask me what's the property address?
Uh what area do you want to pull market activity out of? And then how do you want this report created? Do you want it PDF through created through Claude or through Gamma? Um I want to pull uh let's pull a city. Okay. And then >> Can you tell a skill to use a specific file, too? >> file, too? In your skill in it? >> So, you don't have to put the upload the file. >> Yeah. You could bake a file into it. >> Yes. >> 100%. >> so you don't have to say use this file. >> Correct. >> Correct.
Yep, good question. Good question. Yeah, like I've got a skill over here uh weekly uh phone enricher where every week Claude pulls all of my appointments out of my calendar, puts it into a Google sheet, puts their name and their email in there cuz I always send them an email invite, but it's always missing their phone number. Then this skill, weekly phone enricher, automatically pulls the phone numbers, either searches the internet or looks up a database list, and then fills in the sheet with the phone numbers.
And that's like that's like my archaic database. Yeah. >> So kind of on the same note though as far as uh let's just use Elevate. Um >> Yeah. >> If we were to set up these searches one time and then tell Claude with each skill to run each of these reports using that particular search, would it go in there and do that instead of having to do a generic work from from the top down? Do you understand? >> Rephrase the question. >> So uh like you were just talking about you had all those skills over there on the left-hand side that are a little bit more archaic because there's maybe not a connector or something like that. >> Yep. >> do If we went in there and we built out I want to do market research for 80918 and uh I built out the whole search one time, it's in there, then I tell Claude co-work go into PPA and >> Yep. >> go to this file and run that report.
Will it bypass the problems that had there if we at least gave We built built a skill into PPA with a search and then tell it to go in there, locate that search, run it, and give me the >> That's a great question. >> It's the work around. >> I don't know that answer. >> kind of work. Yes, I've started that. >> You've done it? >> [snorts] >> But I haven't set it up and >> Huh? >> with Claude co-work? >> With Claude co-work and but I haven't um set it up to actually be scheduled yet.
But I did basically I wanted it to I asked it to go into um or I connected with PPLS, I did a search on uh EXP properties 10 miles from my house that were 21 days on the market or less. I generated the report. Now, you remember you don't get you can't export agent email addresses from MLS. So, Claude went in and opened each one, she got the agent [laughter] email, got >> So, that's awesome. That's great. >> And then I told it to No, I was wanting to do some open houses. >> All right. >> So, then I said do build me a email, introduce myself, tell them I'm available for an open house. >> I love that. >> 21 days on the market. >> I love that.
That's cool. Thanks for sharing that. >> Yeah, so that I mean it worked. >> So, effectively you build your own which work around >> I built my own search. >> You do the searches in there one time and then tell it to go run that >> That's a great idea. That's smart. Yeah. >> Cuz then you don't have to You would have to do it anyway by just finding the skill in the first place. So, you're going to >> Yep. >> the skill you're just going to do it twice. >> Yep. >> You do it once in Cloud CMA work and once in the PP AR, save the PP AR search. >> Yep. >> And I'll tell it, "Hey, here's the skill.
Go do this." >> Yep. >> Cuz you're going to have to log in anyway. You can't >> If you wanted to if I wanted to do this like I want to every Monday look for anything I can also tell it to go to search find it. >> What you can't. You'll have to schedule it in your calendar cuz you're going to have to go in here and open that mess up in the first place to do it. So, you may as well just say, "Hey, do this. Do this. Do this.
Do this. Do this." >> Schedule it. >> But I can't automate it? >> You can't automate it. >> I see. >> Because you have to be able to log in to PP AR and if you're not logged in then >> That's the catch. That's the hard part. Yeah, it's staying logged in. >> So, you just put it in your calendar say, "Every every Monday morning I'm going to get up at 6:00 and I'm going to run these reports." >> Yeah, and it's just running in the background.
You're logged in. Yep. Yeah, it's good. See, this this stuff is so fresh and new. I I love that we're sharing these ideas, right? Cuz what I'm trying to figure out is like this is already Colorado, by the way. Looks like it's it's trying to get some stuff done. Um >> [snorts] >> See, I want to know like what are those daily, weekly, monthly tasks that you all have on your plate? And what can we create? Well, what skill can we create that can take that off your plate, right?
You know? Um Right? So, here's already Colorado. It's attempting >> that they're both built on the matrix system. >> But this one's working. >> Yeah, I don't I don't know. >> It's got to be good. It's got to be good. >> Is that what it is? >> It is. >> Yeah. Um more advanced thing. I've like I'm It gets stuck stuck in already Colorado. Then I decided to give it full computer access to my computer. I was just like I'm all in.
And then it like can move the mouse and click. So, just a just a thought on that. Like if you do get stuck, if you want to give it full access to your computer, gives you a bunch of warning signals first, uh which are scary. >> But so but the one >> with the guardrails on that is to give it a folder >> Or get a separate machine. Yeah. Right? I'm like this close to buying a second computer. Correct. That's the problem, right?
Cuz Cuz you guys, right? Whether it's like fortunately I'm I'm just a low-level title rep. I don't have any like important data on here, but obviously you guys, right? You have client information, confidential information. So, obviously you don't want to expose all of that, right? On your machines. That's something important to keep in mind. Yeah. I I don't really keep anything on my computer. Everything's on an external hard drive.
Okay. So, here you can see here it's slowly it's slowly working away here, right? Which is kind of fun to watch, but boring. Moving on. Back over to this. What it can it do though? Uh, it can create these reports for you. Let me give you guys some examples. Did I Do I still have this on my computer? I deleted it. Um, let me show you. Over here. I had to create a do do do market activity report. Do I still have it in here?
Yeah, check this out. >> I have that one that you sent out a while back. >> Do you? >> Yeah. >> I didn't save it, but basically it makes a one-page report for a property address. Um, uh, what's going on in the market. It looks at like showing data, pending to close, um, average showings, and it puts it all in a one-page report that you could send to a homeowner, right? And again, I'm just like talking to this thing and just messing with it.
I'm like, "Can you Can you do this for me?" Right? Um, another idea I have is I know some agents send out, uh, what they call a don't fire me report to their sellers, uh, like every Monday, right? And it usually has like, "Here's how many Zillow saves. Here's how many realtor.com saves. Here's showingtime data." And it puts it in like a little one-page per PDF report. Like, how cool like imagine a world where you just tell it, "Hey, run the don't fire me report." And then it goes out, "Here are my property addresses." It runs the searches for each of them.
It creates the PDF, right? Saves it to your computer. I don't know. Can it draft the email? Yeah, in theory in theory it could be a gamma link and you could draft an email and send them the gamma link. Right? Like, again, there's so many ways we can take this and it's so new for us. It's the same way of like, right? When ChatGPT first came out over 3 years ago, and you download the thing and you're looking at it and you're like, "What the heck do I even ask this thing?" Right?
It's all so new, but I guarantee you, right? In a year from now, we're going to be leveraging and using these agentic AI systems in so many different ways. And guess what? They're only going to get smarter. Right now, whatever, it's clunky with accessing PPMLS. I'd be curious to see what happens in a year or two from now. >> with it. >> Right? It's only going to get smarter. But I think the key takeaway here with all of this though is just be curious.
Just start thinking about like what What are those tasks that you're doing that you can have it maybe build out for you, right? Um kind of branching over I I I I know I've talked about a lot about uh Gamma, okay, within the connectors. Right? You can have it build out any report. Gamma is a connector and build it for you right there. Whether it's I don't know, buyer's guide, a market activity report, whatever. >> an amazing job on a buyer's guide.
I gave it an example. >> It's great. >> From a person I know in Las Vegas. >> Mhm. >> And theirs was like a 20-some page thing. Like, "Here, I want you to take this and I want you to analyze it. I want you to produce a similar report. >> Yep. >> It's just got to be all local information cuz I don't live in Las Vegas. I live in Colorado. >> Totally. >> And and it did the whole thing and it was amazing. It pushed all the pro numbers in there, all the different companies that would mimic look the stuff that she had in her report. >> Yep. >> Yeah, go out there and find all kinds of stuff. >> got to be curious. >> So, you got a digital version of it, you just uploaded it and said >> No, I took a PDF and I scanned it in. >> I scanned it in? >> Yeah, I did do a PDF and then I uploaded the PDF and And now it created the whole thing for you right here instead of in in Vegas. >> So, if you got one in a friend in Florida that's got that type of stuff, put it in there and it'll it'll kick it all out. >> Guys, this this guy's limit. >> So, when you said earlier uh to use your style guide, is that your like your Canva style guide?
Like for like >> That's like That's like my [clears throat] brand colors. >> Brand colors, yeah. >> Right? My my fonts, right? >> [snorts] >> All of how I want things created. >> canvas, can it it can use my brand all like we already have any particular types of branding for open houses versus new listing versus you know whatever the different types of things it'll it'll know what [snorts] to use and it'll >> I would bake it into a skill in Claude. >> it to keep that in a particular template and >> [clears throat] >> write it and just say, you know, exactly. >> Yeah. >> Use this template. >> And then that template you use to create this type of guide [clears throat] or or pamphlet or brochure or whatever.
You create posters and >> If you haven't done this, I highly recommend taking 20 minutes to do this. Have AI [snorts] build it for you or Gamma or Canva whatever. And just build build your brand kit. Here's my logo. Right? Here's logo usage, logo rules, color palette, right? Hex codes, tints, shades, typography, um you know, voice and tone, platform guidelines. >> Can you link this to where this is at? >> Right? Brand kit.
That lives on my desktop. I'm happy to share with you if you want. Sure. Happy to. Yeah. >> Cuz then you put it put it in there and tell it you work for >> Maybe I'll bake it in I'll make a skill out of it, right? I'll upload it. Hey, turn this into a skill that I can share. >> And then you can do these >> Boom. Jill, perfect. I That'd be amazing. That That'd be You know what? I I I I don't have it. >> Oh. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, she shared it.
They're often like all about creating your own brand [clears throat] marketing kit. >> Yep. >> And you can create things where um Claude will interview you. >> Yep. >> say interview me for you know, my voice and it will >> Yep. >> It'll It'll ask you a bunch of questions. In the end you tell it >> That's That's That's it. >> you know, what >> Yep. So, I would if you haven't made this, this is great cuz then I just drag it into wherever I'm at.
Hey, this is this is how I want things created for whatever I'm doing and then it's just it can just read it and it's done. Um let's talk about that. We have not talked about a few other things and that I want to cover. The next one I talk about is scheduled tasks. Right? So, once you create that skill, right? Again, let's get back to the the daily blog post. You can honestly you can just talk to Claude. You just say, "Hey, Claude, take this skill and run it every Monday at 9:00 a.m." And then it will just literally come over here and create a schedule task for you.
But you can see here where here's those scheduled tasks that run on certain days at certain times. Right? And that's where it's really, really cool. Again, your machine has to be on for some of these, right? Anything where it has to be on to run them. Um that's important. But again, they can run in the background as a scheduled task. >> So, it seems like Claude did too, but Chat GPT does and it's kind of a telltale sign that it's a something that's been written by AI and it's that long dash. >> M-dash. >> Yeah, M-dash.
Yeah, you want to get rid of that. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Get rid of that. Put that in your bake that into your Yeah. Correct. >> [snorts] >> Correct. Um projects. I actually have zero projects cuz I still use all my projects in chat. Does anyone Anyone Are we familiar with projects whether it's in their gems in Gemini or chats in Chat GPT? So, basically, again, a project is is I kind of describe it as a folder. Let me give you an example cuz I actually have them on chat.
They're very similar. Where if you've got any sort of repetitive task, you can create a project for it. Right? So, here's my This is the main one I want to show you guys. Kind of kicking it up a notch here in our level. Write like me social media post. Right? So, project, think of it as a folder uh with instructions, whether that's a prompt or a skill, right? That you work out of where it's automatically always sourcing off of that information and those instructions for a particular task.
So, in this particular example, this project writes like me. And why does it do that? >> You called [snorts] it write like me social media >> I did. I did. I called it that. And it did that because within the instructions, I said, "Hey, I want you to create all this content for all these social media platforms, and you're going to reference these files." All these files of me talking on video. So, it learns how I talk, how I speak, right?
So, same concept. I should have just have been I've been slacking, right? Is I should make one over here. I can Oh, I can import a project from chat, even better. So, I could just import a project, I guess. That's even better, right? They're making it super seamless, right? But I do find myself currently going back and forth between chat and um Claude. But here's one thought I have is I do go back to chat because again, tokens.
If you're worried about your tokens, I'll go back to chat and use all my projects over here to not use up tokens. >> So, you have a library of YouTube. Some of us are not that skilled yet. >> What's your question? >> So, to gain enough data or information to plug in there to have it write like me, are you sending emails that you've written? Are you giving it access to that so that it will it will >> You could. >> style and all the rest of that kind of stuff to create something that sounds like you? >> Yep.
Yep, upload whatever that is. Stuff you've written or any video content, transcripts, upload that. >> That's cool. >> So, it knows it's exactly Mhm. >> I can take all of your YouTube stuff and all >> No M dashes. What's that? >> So, I could take my old YouTube videos and I just upload those? >> You could. Right. >> Yeah, cuz when I wrote my script >> I recorded my voice to record the scripts. >> So what you can do is you can >> So I I was already speaking in my natural voice, so >> You have a transcript.
You can take a transcript and you upload transcript. >> Correct. >> It's totally you. It's not just a script. >> Correct. >> Uh-huh. >> And that way it will it'll take your natural tone and and it'll load it in there. They'll know how you write and speak. And then it will give it back to you every time you ask for a project. They won't give it to you in that in that tone. >> Yep. >> Very cool. >> Yeah, the last thing I want to share with you guys I keep saying that. is >> Say it next. >> skills.
Skills. I'll sh- I'm going to share these skills with you. All right. Notice the file type. It's a dot md file type. That's a skill file type. You're going to take these. You're going to download them. You're going to drag them into Claude. And then it's going to ask you questions and you're going to program them to how you want to talk and how you want them to be like you. >> So yeah, you know what this is? >> Yep. >> And it'll be amazing. >> Yep. >> So that's corners having can save time. >> Yep.
And um My goal moving forward is to make more, right? And then just give you guys them. Right? What's that What's that scene in the Matrix? This is this is you guys with Claude. >> [laughter] [laughter] >> So that's you guys. >> Thanks for uploading. >> Right? We just uploaded. Bring it in. So this is just the start. Thanks for Thanks for being with me as I fumbled through this and just kind of jumped around. Um but the goal is to convince you to to start messing with this, download it, be curious.
I want to have more classes where I start building out different skills and we give them to you. You guys set them up, right? But that's why I need that feedback from you guys is like what are those weekly, monthly, quarterly things that we can create and take off your plate. >> Yes. When I came in here, it was like, "Wouldn't it sure be nice if I could just get it to do these things for me?" >> Yeah. >> But it can already do that for you.
So this is what you This Claude Co-worker is considered the agent AI. >> It's great. It's great. You can have it scrape the internet. You can have it pull up pull the add a pull list of 600 architects for a builder. Um you can have it build websites. I mean, the sky's the limit. It's crazy. You just got to talk to it. Just be curious. >> You said build websites. Is that where the coding and stuff comes in? >> [snorts] >> Yeah, but it will do it right within Co-work.
And it'll walk you through exactly how to do it. >> Play on okay. >> You just got to follow the instructions, yeah. >> Or you can even push it into Gamma to do all the >> Mhm. >> That's the one that I hadn't heard of until now. The word in there is >> Mhm. >> I was when I first played with Gamma, I did it on my phone and I built a website for a friend of mine in about 30 seconds. It just pushed out a website for her dog kennel. >> It's great. >> It was It was beautiful. >> It's really good.
Even emails. I first got hooked to it literally just for creating emails. Like and it's very uh Uh shoot, let's click on one. It's very like you can see I don't I don't really prompt it. Look at this. Let's give it an example. What's this? You're in. Like it builds all of these emails to your brand to exactly what you want, right? Um >> This No, this is Claude. This is Claude Co-work. >> What what were you saying about Gamma?
You were talking about Gamma. >> Gamma does really great job with uh graphic design and stuff like that. So like I I just hey, and this friend of mine, she's from Montana, and she was running a dog kennel, and she had to redo all of the website cuz it wasn't functioning and all this stuff. And I said, "Hey, um so and and I tried to get her to to talk on the phone, she wouldn't do it. So, finally I'm just like, "Hey, I own a dog kennel in Montana.
I need to redo my website. I want to know I want a place that I just gave it all this detail. We board dogs, we do this, we do this, we do this." And then it just spits out all this stuff. >> Camera's great. >> background like you can see Montana, all these people, happy dogs, all these >> Camera's great. Yeah. >> So, it's just creating the images and everything? >> It it did the whole thing. >> Wow. >> Camera's got to watch out though, because Claude launched Claude Design. >> Okay. >> It just keeps going, right?
It keeps going. It keeps going. >> And you upload stuff like that to like your Squarespace account, and that's your new website, or is >> Do you build it on top of a website provider? Or how does it >> I say yes, you just got >> Yes. It's going to take some work. >> So, do you open that and like start from scratch there, and then just follow the [snorts] instructions and >> would talk to you. I'd go to Claude Co-work.
This is where I'm hosting my website, this is what I'm trying to do. Can you help me work through this? What information do you need from me? Right? And then eventually what's going to give you it's going to give you that code, right? So, like this email, for example, all this is is is it's you can see the front facing side of it, but it's really just code, right? And you would just copy and paste that code into you know, your your email provider or your website provider, right?
Look at it, it's just code right here. And I just copy that >> So, you're just copying that into the website >> system. Right? But again, it's going to depend on the website provider. Right? Like I use Wix. >> Wix, okay. >> WordPress, Squarespace is popular. Honestly, if you're going to start from scratch, I would do Wix over Squarespace. Cuz Wix you can auto flow in blog posts. My buddy just actually he just canceled his Squarespace cuz he bought it just to do this, and he can't he said it Squarespace won't auto blog post for him. >> Wix is more reliable.
So, Wix is probably one of the [snorts] more friendly. >> Wix, it's very friendly. Very friendly. Yeah. And and I'm not even And guys, the the blog posting thing is crazy. Um I've been getting random phone calls from realtors all over the US that are like somehow coming across my stuff. >> It's on YouTube, man. >> So, it's cool. It's cool to see it build. >> a lot of people want your stuff. >> Thank you. Thank you. Um Yeah, so I know I'm I'm jumping all over the place here, guys, but hopefully you took something away and just implement.
Just try it. Just be curious. Test it out. Just talk to the thing. It's so darn smart, right? And I always say this, just if you don't know what you what you want it to do or you you're kind of stuck, I always say, "What do you need to know from me to, you know, complete this task as best as possible?" And it's probably going to give you like 10 things that you didn't think of that you're going to have to tell it, right?
And just start building stuff.
