Just also because I was playing that game when I was kid. Okay, let me see if I remember how to play that. Let's start with the road, right? Let's try to build a, oh, there are cars. There are cars. It generated nice cars and they're like, wow.

Rigging and animation always been the hardest part for me and I was not even dreaming to approach non -humanoid. Creatures But GPT -6 make it possible. It. Will be actually used in my game. And I'm gonna show you how I play it. And for real guys that's crazy. In my game there is a lot of non. Humanoid creatures and I was quite bothered like how I gonna do all this, attack this, run animation. Because I'm actually. Not an animator. And here comes GPT -6 and it's now possible. But to make it work we're still gonna need right approach. And it all starts with 3D model. And the better you prepare it the easier it will be to rig it.
And Astra will actually. Appreciate it. And if you watch my channel I hope you guys understand why I will not create my character with chat GPT. Because. The way it builds shapes it's pure mathematical. There is of course computer use but guys that's not working right now. At least. Today Maybe in one year it will be done. I definitely gonna use 3D AI for that. Because I want quality. But even with generating 3D models.
There are. few. Details I really do not recommend to generate it at once from image. Whether you use multi -image or not. If you gonna generate it at once it will be just one solid piece. And you can see I'm using Tripo and when I try. To generate it at once like the one leg failed etc. But even if you got it nice, high poly etc. also. Not gonna work. And when it is presented as one big mesh it will cause problems with weights.
Tripo. Recently shipped amazing Tripo P2 that does crazy good low poly. And if you use it and. Generate your character in parts guys you gonna have almost artistic level 3D model. So this is exactly what I did and. I also have more control. I actually made big video focusing on how to create a 3D model. You can take a look there for. More insights. But the most important point that I want to highlight is that if mesh is logically organized it.
Means dots AI such as GPT -6 will be able to properly rig it. Like what is rigging really right? It's just. Adding bones and distributing weights. How these bones actually affect them. When the model is not optimized there are like plenty of dots. Weights will also cause some artifacts. And not to say how much time and iteration your Astra will do. So in order. To make it work your model must be optimized and ideally logically. structured.
Again if you gonna do that with Tripo you gonna get best possible result. So I got all my parts generated and you can see that I was using like. The lowest polygons possible because yeah I just generate one leg and I was choosing like quad topology and generating it like with. 500 And that's exactly what I need. Like that's the best result I can imagine. Also sometimes you can generate few parts at once. By the way Tripo recently updated 3D texturing.
Now there is an option to remove lights if you want clean albedo that you gonna later. Like use and add materials yourself. And also the texturing itself got significantly better. With all recent updates Tripo is. Still number one for me and me and my team we still use it. Especially because of low poly. Because for game development that's super valuable. And for all new users use my link in the description and you gonna get extra free credits or promo code to get crazy discount if.
You decide to subscribe. Now I brought all parts to Blender and we gonna do the assembling. And guys there is a video on my channel. Where I explain what I actually building. It's like an RTS game inspired by old games you know like it's for. Real And that's indeed the game I was dreaming of. I had that idea like for more than a decade. So you're very welcome to follow my development. Journey. And this guy actually goes there.
So the reason I was explaining that is that I actually spent some extra time to do the UV. And guys working with Tripo P2 it's just a pleasure like doing this. Seems like it's super fast. You can see the quality of the wireframe right. So I just had to set like this seams so I can unwrap it later and texture it like nice. Again this creature will be featured in my game. So I want it to be best possible quality. So after unwrapping I also packing it all in one texture.
For optimization of course it's an RTS game. This creature will be quite small on the screen space. So I definitely don't want like plenty of texture maps. Anyway and the final step is to actually assemble the character. That was not really difficult. Like I got all my logical parts. What was really important for me is to get the right proportions and shape. Because I mean like I want this creature be exactly how I imagined it.
So yeah I just spent a little bit time. When you work with low poly you can actually edit it in proportional editing orders, elastic wrap and sculpting mode. So you can just quickly assemble parts together. Again I have complete tutorials about how to do this for creatures, for characters like fastest AI workflow. Take a look or you are very welcome to join my 3D AI school. Where we have character and environment course.
Where me and my mentors we're gonna take you from A to Z creating your character, creating your game location. We already have more than 100 happy students creating their own games. All information will be in the description. So finally my guy is ready. One additional thing that I did but that's specific of my game. I needed to add a crest but as a separate object, separate material because I'm gonna replace the color of it.
Again that's an old school RTS game so it will be red it's like an enemy, blue is like an ally and black color for neutral one. So here's my final guy and let's quickly inspect him right. You can see everything is optimized and everything is sort of structured right. So look I mean the leg is like a separate object. You see here, here, here, here. The details are where they are needed and this is super important. If you have your character logical, organized and optimized, next step will work without any issue which is to ask GPT 6 to rig our character.
But there is one missing piece which animation we need to create and I have perfect solution for you. Why not use video AI to create animation references? And same references we're gonna provide to GPT 6 So it can go frame by frame and do the right pose, right animation, exactly how we want. So this is exactly what. I did with my agent. I was using Cidens 2 .5. There's plenty of platform where you can use it. I was using two API with my agent.
Mr Mark. And one thing I can say for sure most likely from first try you're not gonna get there. So I actually did two. Iterations per each animation. My request I need attack animation, I need run animation, walk, death and. Idle So here you can see what options I got. Different one. I was actually asking to do it hull speed because later when animation. Is done it's very easy to rescale it by time. And Cidens 2 .5 I think like it can generate minimum 3 to 4 seconds,.
Right Again like in game this animation can be one second like attack animation. But you cannot generate that short video. So I decided to. Go with this one. This one is the best. Walk animation was actually the easiest one. First try I got exactly the. Result that I want. And then the run animation. I decided to go with this one. This animation, this is the second iteration. First. Animation was very strange and I asked it like okay do it like as there is an impact.
So you can see there is an impact but. Later I will iterate with GPT on same concept. And finally the idle animation. This one nothing crazy here. So. Now we are ready to open GPT with Blender MCP of. Course. All magic will happen in Blender. I don't know how to actually not do that. Without Blender that will not really work. And you can see I use Codec CLI. Many ask like why? Because it works in folder and it's much easier to manage all this MCP and stuff.
Like all this permission and stuff. You just launch it with the commands like bypass permission and that's it. Like and also it works in the same folder where my game is. So it immediately can get aware about all my project. Also there will be a workflow that I am gonna share with you guys. Which basically just describes a simple process. Like go animation by animation, like frame by frame, try to make it nice, do the rig, all that stuff.
I am gonna of course share it with you. And by the way guys if you follow me on X I already shared it there a few days ago. So if you still not follow that's a good reason to start. And I also report about each day of development of my dream game. And since I mentioned Blender of course we are gonna use it through MCP. Minimum what you need is to use official Blender MCP. Alternatively you can also use some other MCPs that give GPT the full access to Blender.
We are 100 % not doing this through computer use. And just 30 minutes later look at these guys. Wow this is. Absolutely fantastic. I mean, this gonna happen like in years from now. Like, that I will be able to create any creature, rig them, direct these animations. Like, imagine something and like, boom, it's happening. Now, look, it created a fantastic rig. And it's also really funny to see how it does the testing. It does the same thing like with Unity, it also runs some tests all over and over.
And with Blender, also like it do some tests. So, the first versions of animation were good, but definitely not enough. I would say only walk animation was really good from first try. But attack animation was a little bit simple. Like, it really needed to be more natural and more dynamic. No problem at all. I just provided the feedback. Actually, I provided feedback twice. And it became better and better. And sometimes I provided a screenshot saying like, can you make this like this, etc, etc.
Or just describe with words. For example, one of the feedback was to make the tail artificially bigger for a few frames. When the contact happened like in the attack animation, right. Because otherwise the tail was too thin. And I also wanted more dynamic that he moves closer to his body. And do the pose like better pose, like bringing his ass little bit up. And yes, he was able to do that. Pretty much similar feedback was about this animation.
He was a little bit cheating like the legs. Was too symmetrical. Like I was not looking natural. So I did a screenshot explained like look I want legs to be more natural. Like they definitely not go that symmetrical like when scorpion dies. It can be like any position really. And that's pretty much it. Just two iterations and I got all my animations ready. Let me show you this fantastic results. All together around two hours on x -high GPT -6 Astra.
Here is the walk animation. Boom that's amazing. Everything is so nice like dang. It even rigged flags here you know like and did like some simple animation. Okay now the run animation. Let's go. Okay I'll disable armature so you can see the animation alone. And it's a perfect cycled animation. I mean wow wow just like speechless. I don't know. Additionally without providing any new videos I asked it to do the turn left turn right.
Because I already implemented my wolf in my game. And there is a need of this strafe animation. So when it turns it looks more natural. So you can see it's a little bit different in terms of how legs are placed. It doesn't make sense when it loops but later I show it in the game. Then we have idle animation. Okay this is pretty decent. Idle animation like I mean I provided feedback once saying like I like a little bit of random leg movements like but he did the claw movements in the flags.
By himself from the reference idle video. This animation. Boom. It's so good right. Actually, first it did very long sequence but I said like in game it will happen faster. So like cut me from this frame to this frame and make sure it like looks good for the game. So first version was longer. And that attack animation. Woohoo. Bam. You can see here. Look at this right. You can see that this thing is actually quite quite big.
But that's intentionally right. So the impact like the hits the moment it hits the target it's like sort of more noticeable. Again that's a few frames but it makes it look more noticeable. Right. Now let's bring it to the game. As I said I'm already quite prepared. And here's my scorpet guy. I have game documentation. I keep it all like this because there will be a lot of characters and creatures etc. So here is the crest.
Here is the portrait. Here's some stats. I have my another agent and unity setup. Again there's another video explaining every day of the development and there will be more. So what are you going to do. I'm going to ask you have all the animations. You have the character. Now let's add them to the game. Also for my game I created this unit playgrounds where I can test the animation etc. I also plan to do the effects and sound effects.
I already have crazy pipeline for that. I'm going to continue adding this to the game. And effects are really important how you feel the game. Boss visual and sound. Write a. Comment and I'm going to make a video. Okay it's done cooking. Let's hit the play button. So here we go. Let me maximize it for you. Okay and also you can see I recently added UI. I'm going to share how I did it really soon. First we have my wolf.
So you can see this. Guy running safe and sound. Okay we can also see like the bite animation. Boom. Okay but this creature is. Relatively simple right. I think I can maybe spend a little bit more time on turns. But this is like a wild simple creature. Now let's choose my big guy. Here we go. That's insane. I mean guys I'm youtuber and I do some stuff for the content. But this is my dream actually. And. I was never able to think I will be able to add this one creature within a day.
Like dang even when I got like a team. Like I remember like this process can take like a week. I don't know all together like. So until this guy is внутри the game. Like because human noise like human character is like as difficult. And this here we go. This. Guy is already here like bang. I can go change anything like I want swords or seeds back. I gonna go to trip. On generate swords and add swords and say like hey guy I just updated the model.
Please update it внутри the game that's it. Let's check the attack. Boom. Dang it looks so cool right. I mean it meant to be a little bit slow because you can see the attack every 1 .6 second. But he will deal quite a huge damage. And let's look how boom. Maybe this can be faster. Okay no but I think that's fine. Again there will be battles between different units. Oh I like my work. I mean that's cool right. That's really cool.
Well I gonna go continue building my game guys. If you like this video like and subscribe and I see you in the next one.
