Well, it is that time of the month again. I know everyone is completely enthralled with draft and I think that's probably where a lot of everyone's attention is, but we've got a hu a whole new month coming with a bunch of new cards. We've got the axis and version theme coming along and a lot of these cards I've actually been excited for since I saw them in the data mine. So, I cannot wait to kind of dive in there and kind of start sorting through the ones that I am looking forward to most. Um, I will say that this month is a little

Um, I will say that this month is a little bit different because I have gotten to the point where I am seasonal complete. Um, so I I am able to get every card it is released. I'm not collection complete yet, though. Um, I do have three cards that I still need to get in the collector's pack, but I do figure I can just kind of chip away at those through the ne the rest of next month. I should get one from getting the season pass and then the other two I'm hoping I can kind of just have enough tokens by the end of the month to pick them up.
Anyway, so I'm still going to take this video as if I was getting every card or not getting every card, but as if I was still, you know, looking to see which ones I would potentially want to buy and which ones I would skip on. Um, so that's the way that I'm still going to approach this. Um, I hope that works for everyone. Um, and I'm excited. I'm looking forward to this season a whole lot. I think there's a lot of really interesting cards here.
So, let's dive in there and let's take a look at them. So, of course, we're going to start it off with the season pass card. And we've seen a trend throughout the year of season pass cards being a little bit overtuned. And I think this month is probably going to be the same. [laughter] We've got superior iron man. He's a 57. Double cost reductions to this ongoing double power increases to this. Seems really strong. Um I mean first of all it's not empowerment.
So any sort of buff that this guy was getting. So let's say it's a Captain America or Captain Carter or even some locations uh I think he's going to be getting that that that power increase doubled. Um, which is kind of nuts. Um, but I just there's so many cards that this guy's going to be able to synergize with. I think there's going to be a ton of packages that he's going to go well into very easily. I mean, just kind of going down a list of cards that, you know, he synergizes with.
You know, you got America Sav Chavez, you've got Surge. Um, Surge increases his power and reducing his cost by two. Hit him with Surge and he's a three. Uh, how much power is he getting from Surge? He's getting plus one. So, he's going to be a 39. That's absolutely nuts. you know, hit him, you know, just by hitting him with Surge, you know, draw him. He's going to be a 39. Fastos, I mean, not exactly a huge card in the meta, but does actually bring some value if you are playing him with Fastos.
Then, of course, you have things like Mr. Mr. Fantastic First Steps would just got a buff, which I imagine was specifically because this guy's coming out. Um, and then, you know, Namarita, Jubilee, first steps. Uh, Mother Scani, another one. you hit him, the clone all of a sudden is what and losing getting plus four power minus one cost. So, it's going to be a 311 kind of nuts. A three a 311 to play on turn five is [laughter] really good.
And you know, hitting him with Gwinpool. Um, and then you have things like Majestic Wing Beat. I mean, the list just keeps going on and on. This guy synergizes with so many different cards. I think he's going to be exceptionally good. I think he's just going to be able to slot in to a ton of different decks that do buffs or, you know, reduce the cost of cards in your hand. I mean, Sarah, even simply having Sarah out there makes him a 3 seven.
Um, so if you've got Sarah out there and you've got some other cards to play to buff him or whatever, I think he's just he's going to be a really strong card. Um, so I'm excited. I cannot wait to get my hands on him. I'm probably hyping him up too much. Watch. He's just an absolute dud, [laughter] but he is probably the card I'm most excited for this month because he just fit he fits into so many decks that I already thoroughly enjoy.
I mean, we didn't even start touching on Jeff and Venus packages, which I have loved since, you know, those two cards came out and I'm still shocked that Venus has not been touched in an OTAA. Um, [laughter] so really excited. Cannot wait to get my hands on Superior Iron Man. The premium season pass card this month is anti-polar Magneto. He's a 6-9 on reveal. Add a three or four cost card from your hand to each other location.
I I love this card on paper actually. So, let's talk through that a little bit. I was I was a little bit worried that he was going to have a little bit of the Hela or the Death Fraction Frontier. Um, I mean the downside of those card or those cards sometimes is that things are getting thrown everywhere. You know, you can have everything land in one lane, then all of a sudden you lose the other two very easily. He doesn't have that.
He's targeted. He's going to be putting a card in each lane, which I think is a bonus for him. Um, there is a little bit of an RNG aspective to that of which one's landing at what time and where are they landing, when are they, you know, when are they landing. Um, so things like silver surfer, my first, you know, I had silver surfer brain. Sometimes anytime I see a three cost or something that works with it, I'm like, "Ooh, Surfer." [laughter] So my first my first reaction was Surfer and then I was like, "Ah, I mean with Surfer, you want to play things in specific orders." Um, so would be absolutely nuts.
Would be absolutely nuts if like he threw out like a brood or he threw out a Captain Carter or something like that into Surfer into Abs Man like that. that's that's never going to happen. But, you know, you can dream, but the timing of things matters in Surfer. So, I was like, maybe it's not really a package for Surfer. Um, but then I kind of was like, well, you could build around it and maybe do something like Invisible Woman and maybe you're putting your surfer underneath invisible woman.
Then, of course, you're playing out anti-polar Magneto on six. He's pulling a bunch of three costs out on the board and then your surfer goes around at the end of the game once invisible woman reveals. So, there is a possibility. I mean, it may work, but I mean, do we really need to be do we really need to be moving things around in Surfer at this point? I mean, Surfer is a pretty tight package, especially once you start getting into like the Cap Captain Carter like stick shenanigans.
Is this is this going to put out more power than a giant stick into a brood? [sighs and gasps] I don't know. It's tough to say. It is tough to say. Um, so Silver Surfer I'm kind of on the fence of. However, I'm kind of more leaning him into a I'm not going to say Ser because I don't think he works with Ser because you're adding the cards. I don't think that buffs Ser. Um, but and maybe Ser's kind of it's it's it was Sauron and then it's Ser and now it's kind of is how I view it.
Those are all kind of the same decks that have kind of um utilized different things over the years. was the starter of the Sauron. Then of course we got Ser and then now kind of those cards kind of fell into the to package because technically Antivirus is just a better thing to do than Ser. [laughter] But you have this guy and you're pulling out big forkos cards u that are kind of a pain to play. You know, you're pulling out a co-op sitting, you're pulling out a Kari.
Um there's another big crossbones. Um and maybe that maybe that's the goal is that you just kind of have this big boy deck. um you play him out and then all of a sudden I mean you're adding 10 to each lane plus him. I mean you're adding 39 power on turn six is kind of nuts. Um could be really really good. Um and I think that's the direction that I'm leaning with him away from like you know stuff like surfer that's very combo ccentric uh that you need to play things in specific orders and more.
How many big boys can I fit in one deck? [laughter] So I'm leaning more towards like the to sort of thing. Um, maybe not necessarily the ones like Starbrand that gives your opponents that gives your opponents, you know, some like the plus two in the other lanes or stuff like that, but I mean the Accaris, the Cole Obsidians, the Crossbones, um, just getting some big boys out there. Um, because that's a big swing. I mean, 10 in each lane plus an additional nine in whatever lane you play him in.
Or let's say you even have Aari in there and all of a sudden you've got Magneto and Aari in one lane. It's a 21 power swing. That's that's not a bad play. 21 power in one lane and then 10 in two other different lanes. That's where I'm leaning with him. I think that is going to be a very interesting deck if he's super strong. Starbrand stocks through the roof. [laughter] So, I am excited. I do think anti polar magneto is going to be a ton of fun to play around with.
Uh so, I'm I'm excited to get my hands on him. Of course, I will always be getting the season pass. And I say this every month as a content creator. Uh, I feel like that I definitely at least need to get back to the game by picking up the the season pass and the premium season pass. So, I always do get those cards. Um, but let's move on to the other card coming out in week one. All right, week one, September 1st. We've got Red Onslaught.
He's a 44 ongoing. Has three random ongoing abilities. I want to like this card. I do. I really want to like this card, but I think that he would be a hard pass for me. Um, for for the same reason that if you go back however long ago that was that I said that Ramat was a pass for me, RNG is just something that never favors me in this game. [laughter] If you have to roll for it, I'm going to lose that role. [laughter] And so I'm like, I'd play Red Onslaught and he would have Starbrand, he would have [laughter] scorpion, and he would, you know, lose his ne is it negative three or negative4 on Scorpion either way.
And then, you know, he would have red skull and he'd buff up the entire other side of the board. Um, you know, the other benefit is is that I think you can probably see the things that he that are on him before he play him out there, but I just I just feel like he is the ongoing version of Ramatut. Um, fun card, don't get me wrong, super fun, but is he actually going to be meta relevant? I just [gasps] I don't know. Which on the other side of it, I think the beneficial ongoings outnumber the detrimental ones probably significantly.
So I may be I may be looking at the glass exceptionally uh [laughter] that the half glass full is definitely a half empty. Um so I may be a little bit pessimistic on that because I do think there are a lot more beneficial ongoings than there are detrimental ones. But I just I just feel like that, you know, you get one bad ongoing one and all of a sudden you're not going to want to play him. He's a dead card in your hand.
And that's my worry. Are there going to be times when he's absolutely busted? Sure. I mean, is there going to be those times where you roll a Sarah, an Iron Man, and a Captain Carter on him? Of course there is. [laughter] Of course there is. So, I I don't know. I I I I definitely would probably be passing on him. He's just one of those cards where I just I don't like the RNG. um just because I feel like it's always going to skew away from me.
Um which is unfortunate because I do think he looks fun. I think he's going to be an interesting card to play. Uh he's going to be a card that you would just slot in your deck once you've hit infinite. You don't care about your wins or losses anymore. Uh just because he's fun, you know, he's going to be Ramat. So that's that's where I'm leaning on him unfortunately, but I do really want to like him. So we'll see. We'll see how he turns out.
And you know, maybe having two beneficial ongoings um makes up for, you know, getting a bad role occasionally. Um, so either way, let's move on to week two. Then of course on week two, we've got claw. I think it's claw. I don't think it's clue. Um, so we got claw. He's a 510. On reveal, each player randomly gives a card in their hand minus one cost for each different cost among their cards in play. Very interesting card.
Um, I'm kind of I'm trying to figure out or even just kind of like, you know, decide where I think that he would fit in best. Wiccan is definitely interesting package. uh you know you're playing a quick silver and then domino hopefully a three on turn three and then of course Wcan on turn four and then play t claw on turn five with something else with that extra energy um and then you're getting you know I think he counts himself on his honor reveal so I think you would get five hits the minus one cost cards in your hand perfect synergy start start off with is superior Iron Man of course season pass card because why would he not synergize with a season pass card that already makes superior Iron Man a 37 you hit him twice he's a one Chef's kiss, I think that that would be a phenomenal just kind of like dream line there.
Um, very interesting. Um, I also think that, you know, things like Karen Paige, uh, you know, you want to get a one, two, and three out there, Karen Paige on four, then of course you're playing CLA on five, and, you know, kind of the same reaction. You know, you hopefully you're playing on curve, and then you're just reducing a bunch of cards in your hand. There also is a card coming next month that synergizes with him, you know, very well, and that's the new vampire enchantress card.
If you have seen the data mines, uh her honor heals for each different cost among your cards in play, steal one power from an enemy card here. So, very good interaction. She's a six cost card as well, so you just potentially want to play her uh after you played claw on five potentially, you know, with her getting a cost reduction and some other cards. So potentially you could play her and something else on six. I think he's a very interesting card who probably will just get better next month.
Um as for this month, I I don't know. I think that I put him in the category of a of a solid maybe leaning towards probably passing on though. Like I said, if you are interested in that enchantress card next month, I think he's kind of a mustave just because they kind of have that same synergy. You probably building cards around it. And I'm really curious if we're going to see start seeing more cards that want to have uh different costs of cards on the board.
I mean, we already kind of have, you know, Karen Paige not necessarily works that way, but she kind of does. Um, and then you got Cl, you got Enchantress, and hopefully maybe potentially we could see a new arc type kind of arising um with diff with, you know, a bunch of new cards that are kind of looking to make sure that you have different costs essentially play on curve. Um, so definitely definitely an interesting thing.
I just I don't know where he fits right now. Um, you know, there were things like I think I saw someone kind of throw out Doom 2099. It's like not really because you don't want those cost reductions on Doom 2099. Um, does not really make sense. Um, so I I I think I'm leaning towards the maybe and hold off on him primarily because I think he's going to be a card that's good down the line. I just don't know where he necessarily fits right now outside of, you know, like I said, the Wiccan package could be a very interesting play for him.
And he does he does synergize with spear Iron Man really well. So, as of right now, he's a solid maybe for me, leaning towards probably pass, but I probably would want him for the future because I I do think that he is going more cards are going to come out that make him a very interesting choice. Um, but you know, I'm kind of going to get to my own words. Cost reduction cards always do well. [laughter] I think the only dud that we've seen in a while is Namarita, but cards that reduce the cards in your hand generally do really well.
So, especially if you could play him on um what's the what is it? Karmatage is the is the hit twice location. You play him on karmatage on five. Or maybe you're just playing Wong and you're playing this guy. Maybe Wong's your turn four play. You play this guy and all of a sudden, you know, you're reducing everything in your hand by 8 to 10, which actually would be a little bit nuts. Um maybe I'm back on board. Maybe I literally in this very moment convince myself of this guy.
[laughter] But either way, I do like the look of claw. I think he's going to be a card that that exceptionally gets better over time. Uh let's move on to week three. Week three, we've got two cards coming out this month. We of course have the series five and then we're getting a series 4 in the limited time game mode. The series five is Rogue Scion of Division. She's a five5 on reveal. Steal the text the highest cost card in your opponent's hand.
I don't know what I feel about Rogue. Very Leech vibes. I I am getting uh some vibes of Leech, but you know, no one plays leech anymore for a reason. Um, I do think there are going to be some metas where she just absolutely is dominant. Um, you know, especially ones that have some final turn like five five cost or six co, not five, but six cost or seven cost cards that they want to kind of get out there to complete their combo.
Uh, just straight out of the gate, first one I just think of is null. Um, basic destroy. I mean, if you can take rogue, slap her down on the board and she steals some destroy players, null, super strong. [laughter] I'm also really uh uh I'm actually interested in the fact that it's steel because copycat originally had steel and of course that was a card on the bottom of the deck and they changed that to just copy. You don't steal that text anymore with copycat because it made her honestly too good.
Um so I am I am curious why they kind of went back to the steel mechanic especially you know directly out of somebody's hand not even one that's on the bottom of the deck. So very very interesting they went back with steel and I think for that steel aspect is why she's probably going to be really strong. Um I think for me like the dream scenario is stealing someone's scorpion because in this current meta you know you have things like scorpion where that's a big turn six play that really kind of if you take someone scorpion the an affliction deck [laughter] they're gonna they're gonna retreat.
[laughter] So I mean there are there are current decks in the meta that I think she would be very good for. um you know things like affliction if you can manage to get their scorpion but usually usually I think scorpion players if they're not running magic are trying to cheat out scorpion early so they can use ancient one on uh ancient one's ability on turn six to you know copy his ongoing to a bunch of other cards. So you would have to time that appropriately or you know even you know stealing someone's fume.
Um knowing my luck I'm going to steal someone's infinite though [laughter] and she's just going to be a five5. Um, so very cool card. I think she's very interesting. I definitely would be picking her up just because I feel like there are going to be times when she's kind of needed um where, you know, there's going to be some metas out there where you're going to want to stop whatever combo someone's got in their hand of playing some big thing out to kind of complete things.
And I think the perfect example currently is Scorpion of being able to stop someone scorpion from, you know, being played or having his effect would be a huge um swing in favor to yourself. So really like Rogue. I think she's a really interesting card and I kind of really excited to get my hands on her. Uh the next card this month of course is coming in limit time game mode. He is a series 4. Uh it is Entropic Havoc.
He is a 33. Each turn steal one bonus energy from your opponent which we've been seeing a lot more a lot more cards designed around stopping your opponent from using uh uh bonus energy. We had quicksand. Is that that was in June? Was that in June? um July, one of those. But uh quick quicksand would just stop their their bonus injury the next turn. He does it every turn that he's on the board. Um for me and my first thought was this was Luna Snow and not necessarily using him as a counter because I don't think you're going to include this guy in your deck to just use against Luna Snow.
Um but and it kind of sucks that he's a three cost because and my thought was is that you know you play out Luna Snow and then on turn four you would play him and then you'd have bonus two bonus energy on five and six. Take that bonus energy back from your opponent. Um very very interesting um kind of gameplay. Um but I mean if you're playing out Luna Snow on three it's because you want to cheat out of five on four. So whether that's actually worth it or not probably depends on the deck.
Maybe you really are just playing out Luna Snow to have seven energy on uh five and eight on six. So really really cool um kind of just kind of approaching him from a design aspect. Um but you know there are other things like being able to keep him in hand against Wiccan. Um there's a lot of you know extra energy generators out there that you can actually use this guy and kind of use them as a tech card. So I really appreciate they are giving us a tech card like this as a free card.
Um I I've always been the opinion that tech cards just always need to be series 4. No point in gatekeeping tech cards around um series 5. So I think he's going to be a blast. I think there are certain metas that he's going to be exceptionally good in. Um and I'm kind of excited to get my hands on it for when I need him. All right, let's move on to week four. And of course, week four, September 22nd. Uh we have two cards coming out this week as well.
Very interesting. The limited time game modes are backtoback like this. They didn't spread it out over the month a little bit more. But I do guess week one we're still uh in the throws of draft. Um so the series five coming out in week four is friendly neighborhood carnage. He's a 34 on reveal. Move your other cards here to the right plus two power for each moved. I think he's actually a really cool move enabler. Um for starters, most move enablers do not buff themselves.
So, I think at the fact that, you know, maybe you have three cards in a lane, you slap Carnage down, he's getting plus six power. So, he's going to be a PL a 310. Uh, really good. So, you can actually maintain some of the power in that lane when you move everything else over, which I kind of think move needs a little bit. Um, so I think he's a very interesting card, especially with, you know, things like Mary Jane doesn't really seem that fantastic, but let's say you do have Mary Jane on the board. you play carnage, friendly neighborhood or friendly neighborhood carnage.
Everything's getting moved over. He's a 310. They're potentially getting some buffs by, you know, their move cards. So, of course, they do. You have Mary Jane out there. She's also buffing up those cards again as well. And then maybe on turn six, they're doing a Heimd doll to kind of get those additional buffs to bring them back. Um, very cool card. I mean, essentially, he's a fanfay that also also is dominant in the lane as well.
Um, which I mean, there is the other side of that. He's not an activate like Fan Fay is. So, he's an honoral. So, you kind of have to time that a little bit better. But I think yeah, I think this something kind of move needs a little bit. But, you know, I don't really play a whole lot of moves, so maybe I'm wrong. [laughter] To me, it seems like something that move decks really needed, but I'm sure there's going to be someone in the comments be like, "Dar, you know what you're talking about.
Carnage is terrible." [laughter] I think he looks really good. Uh, but I will say, um, I would honestly be passing on Carnage because I do not play a lot of move. Um that that is one thing of it. If you are a move player, I think he's going to be a very interesting uh pickup for that reason. Um but I myself would generally be passing on this card because yeah, I'm not a big move player. Um so very cool card, very interesting.
I I personally think he's something that move needed. So we'll see. We'll see how he turns out. The next card coming this month is of course another series 4. It is the inversion. It is a series 4 uh on reveal. Invert the power of the lowest power cards here. uh positive becomes negative and vice versa. This card is very interesting, but I don't think it's going to work out the way that I imagine. I know everyone's first, you know, initial just look at it is like sentry.
Um you know, you play out Sentry, they're expecting a Viper and Annihilus or whatever. You play out the inversion, all of a sudden the void becomes is it eight? Yeah, I think eight. So very cool, especially as a backup plan in case you don't have, you know, some way to send that century across the board or you don't have like a Cersei. Um, another part of it, and this is the dream scenario of [laughter] using it on someone Sinister 6 in an empty lane.
I mean, that would be awesome. [laughter] I don't think that is likely. I don't think it's likely that someone, you know, I mean, them having a lone Sinister 6 in a lane is likely, but you not having anything in your lane and also, you know, playing this on Sinister 6, I just I don't think that the likelihood of being able to pull that off um is there. But I mean, I can dream. I mean, it's very interesting for that of like using it against, you know, your opponents having certain card big cards in one lane, whether it's like Sinister 6 or Manpider or stuff like that.
Um, but I mean at that point you might as well just pack in Shadow King, you know. Um, I don't think it's worthwhile in in that in that point to kind of keep the inversion as a counter to the decks like that when Chang or Shadow King or whatever um is just kind of a better option. Um, and so I mean I'm looking at it as how can I, you know, make a detriment to my opponent. I mean maybe hitting a Captain Carter uh could be a really interesting play.
Um, so I'm not necessarily looking at it because I don't play a lot of clog. I don't, you know, clog junk, whatever you want to call it. Um, so very, very cool card. I'm really I'm actually more interested to see what other people do with it because it's not a card that I potentially would play a lot, but I'm sure someone out there is going to find some wacky things to do with this thing [laughter] and I'm excited to see it.
But once again, it's a free card coming in the limited time game mode. So, of course, I will get it and I'm sure I will be trying to find something that I like to enjoy putting this into. So, we can look forward to that in week four. Moving on. Then, of course, we've got week five, the last card this month, and actually one that people have already got their hands on. She accidentally, I don't know if it was, I'm sure it was accidentally was actually in draft mode the first couple of days.
We got Scarlet Witch, Queen of Chaos. She's a 34. Start of turn, add an extremely random skill to your hand. It costs zero this turn. Uh, I think she's fantastic. I mean, I love this card. I think, you know, she's giving me Merlin vibes. Uh, you know, I did talk about a little bit about how I'm not a big fan of RNG, but I think the fact of the matter is is that the skills that she gives or costs zero. There's really no downside.
Um, I mean, you could get one that is bad and you just don't play it. Um, or you can get one that's really, really good and it costs zero. Um, so let's take a look actually at the cards that are coming her way. Um, so just a quick run through it. I mean is your standard skills. We got definite cord, the flames of the faltine, flight of harness, you know, you got your prowler cards, you got your Merlin cards, we got the rock stuff, sandstorm's not ideal, but I mean I'm sure you know you can get some use out of it.
Taland dollar also very niche of, you know, maybe you don't have some ongoing cards that you want to copy with Taland dollar, but of course you have things like techno organic virus. Uh does it work? Maybe. Or you could, you know, it's zero cost. So maybe you're just caught tossing it into another lane while you know you kind of boost up cards in your others and then on turn five and six you throw out a free technogorganic virus for some big buffs and lanes.
Um another one spider sense finally good. [laughter] A zerocost spider sense given a plus three uh to your to all your characters in one lane. Yeah, that doesn't suck. Uh spider sense finally will feel good. [laughter] And then of course we have a bunch of unreleased skills that I think will probably get added to her as they are released in their uh given seasons which celestial empowerment has been uh in the data mines for quite a while now.
Uh but Knights vow is probably coming in the um Avalon I think it was Avalon was uh data mined for November. I imagine that's when that's coming. Of course the inversions coming this month and we have a few others. We got the brand of Shoula on reveal. One of your other cards here steals two power from the character that costs most in your opponent's hand. Uh, and then we have Dragon's Breath, which is a four cost. Give a five cost or more character in your hand, plus three power.
Afflict the enemy card at each location with minus two power. That one actually seems really good, but I mean, I imagine these are probably not coming with her this month and will just be added to her pool as these skills are added to the game, which I kind of like. It just means that, you know, as more skills are added, Scarlet Witch is going to be getting those to her pool, which I think is really cool. Uh, outside of Superior Iron Man, Scarlet Witch is probably my second most excited card to get my hands on this month.
I think she's going to be an absolute blast. I think she's probably I'm not going to say a must need, but I for me, she's definitely up there. Like, I definitely want to have this card. Um, maybe the Mad Thinker will finally be good. [laughter] Not Not holding my breath. >> [laughter] >> But I think Scarlet Witch, Queen of Chaos, is going to be a lot of fun. So, I'm excited to pick her up. She is definitely on my pickup list for the month.
But that is all the cards. Let's do a quick summary. Okay, before we get into the summary, I this the world did not want this video to come out for me today. I actually initially recorded the whole thing and then when I actually pulled up my video to to edit it in Premiere Pro, realized that I actually had it on the wrong source and recorded my screen and did not have my entire cam through the entire time. So, I had to re-record it.
Uh, which sucked. And then while I was re-recording it, actually threw a breaker in my office because apparently having my AC, a fish tank, my computer, a neon light and everything going was a little bit much on the old [laughter] circuit breaker. So, that sucked. So, I lost power and then I actually had to start over all again. So, there was a point there was about a split second there where I was like, it's not worth it.
[laughter] But, I'm glad I got through it. I'm glad that I actually managed to get through this. Um, but let's actually go through the summary real quick. Uh, season pass, of course, always get the season pass. For me, as a content creator, like I always say, I would be getting that. If you are going to be spending money on the game, this this is the the best thing to do is get the season pass plus make sure you do it on the web shop. that way you can get that free series 5 collector's pack along with it.
Um, so definitely be getting the season pass cards. Red Onslaught I would be passing on. Um, he's just he's Ramatut 2.0 for me. Um, like I said, RNG just never rolls in my favor. Um, I'd like to know exactly what's going to happen, what I'm getting, and just Red Onslaught would just be one of those cards where I know I'd be getting the detrimental rolls every single game when it mattered. [laughter] So passing claw claw would be a solid maybe I would be claw is one of those ones where I'd wait till the end of the week.
He would not be immediate pickup just to kind of see where he falls. Cost reduction cards always end up being good. Cost reduction and I feel like energy generation cards always find a home. Um so I definitely think he is intriguing from that aspect and I think he's going to be one that gets he's going to he's going to get better over time. I think there's going to be there's going to be a time where CLA's going to be a card that you really want to have in your collection.
Um, but I think for right now, especially if you are um I guess uh token starved or however you want to say it, I definitely would he would be a solid maybe for me and then maybe a pickup towards the end of the week. Um, week three, I I I would get Rogue. Rogue just kind of seems like a card that I would enjoy. Copycat was one of the cards that I absolutely picked up on her release and I loved her. Absolutely. Thoroughly enjoyed Copycat on release.
I think steel mechanic is going to be fantastic, especially depending on the meta, whether it's today. You know, we'll find out in the meta, but I think that rogue at some point in time is going to be one of those tech cards that you kind of really want to have your hands on, especially if something is dominant in the meta that's kind of a turn six play, turn six or turn seven that you kind of stop in his tracks by stealing that card from them.
Um, so I would definitely uh be getting Rogue. Um, next one, Friendly Neighborhood Carnage. good card. I think he's going to be really interesting in a lot of move packages. Uh probably passing uh though just because don't play a lot of move. Um it's it's not my arc talk. Move and bounce are probably some of my weakest and the comments on my YouTube [laughter] my YouTube videos when I play move and bounce. Uh definitely show that.
So [laughter] I I personally probably would be passing on Friendly Neighborhoods Carnage. Though I do think that he's going to be a really interesting card to throw in a lot of move packages. And then of course week five we've got Scarlet Witch. Um she is a definite for me. Um I definitely would be picking up Scarlet Witch. I think she's gonna be a lot of fun. She's going to have a lot of utility. I think she kind of just falls in that same vein of Merlin of he just I don't know if she's going to be as, you know, good as Merlin was where he kind of just found himself in every deck.
But I do think there are going to be a lot of homes for her um that just kind of wants, you know, that randomness. Especially, you know, when we're talking about tournament play and like Golden Gauntlet and stuff like that. Having a card like Scarlet Witch that gives a little bit of surprise to your opponents where they don't know exactly what it is that you're going to play, I think is a fantastic card for that. So, very cool card.
Excited to get my hands on her. Um, but that is it. Those are the cards coming out in September. Um, I hope you guys all enjoyed it. Please hit that like button if you did.
