We're aiming for bigger and better things, and it would just mean the world to me. Takes 2 seconds of your time just to help a guy out, and you can change your mind at any time. But, right now, let's jump in. We start [snorts] off with the character creation, and right now, I think I've got the face as best as I possibly could. Anyhoo, the intro cutscene starts playing. I get caught having to sign autographs by three Pokémon one guy, and I watch a video of how the city has evolved during the worldwide acting tours I've been on.
From this point, we get nicked by paparazzi. I choose a starter, which she definitely did not use, and make my way through the tutorial, defeating the fiends rather quickly. I still have the champion in me. Whilst I go through this segment of merely defending myself to then join the Zia Royale, because we're essentially locked in what Pokémon we can use. I can't start the challenge until I have beaten the first trainer, and it wasn't long before we get our first match-up, Zach.
So, I dig into the trainer battles one by one. They all got defeated, leaving Zach himself. He's no pushover, and just like the other trainers, but again, the challenge technically hasn't even started. We grabbed the rank of Y before meeting Emma. She runs off, and well, that's a tutorial, finally done and dusted. The next morning, I go off on a little journey around the capital city of Kalos just to regain my bearings alongside with Urban.
Caught some more Pokémon for research points, mainly for TMs, and I may have got involved in the wrong crowd, but hey, we move. And when I do see Emma again and get access to side quests, I can finally, at long last, start to build a team of my very own. So, I head back near the hotel to grab our ace, a female Ralts, our ace for the run, before helping out some of the locals. We trade a Pikachu over for Boyce the Heracross before going off on a hunt for a ring.
This leads me to a battle with Sableye. Somehow, I managed to defeat that and grab that ring. I don't know how, but I did. This left a quest that I'm not looking forward to, an alpha battle bay against one little fairy. I might be cooked here. Fortunately, I was able to get it low and actually catch it, which completes the side quest. I return to Emma, who, of course, wants to battle me, but as it's just a simple Mareep, I'm clear to take it out.
Barely. I get to see mega revolution in full whack, and thus, I'm strong enough to take on Yvonne. Or am I? Before I do anything, I take on this dude to battle, beat him up, so I can have access to a Holo Caster in order to Yeah. Fat chance. So, by the time I have a ticket in hand and a citrus berry to give to my fairy, I'm ready for business. Well, as much as I'm going to be. And well, her first Pokémon destroys me.
This I am not looking forward to. And well, about an hour later, I'm still not going through her first Pokémon. This isn't going to work. Now, here is where I'm going to have to be honest. This isn't not doable. Ralts has a base stat of 198. It sucks. Spritzee and Swirlix are 341, and Vivillon is 411, which then you can go, "Okay, well, why don't you catch some more Pokémon?" Well, as you saw, they're all way over leveled.
The fossil Pokémon are locked until mission 10, and Pumpkaboo is on wild zone 15. In short, I can't get anything. So, ladies and gentlemen, if I've got the toughest fights ahead of me, how can I even get to that point if I can't even defeat a team of puny little fairies? Ugh, you know what? I can't be bothered with you anymore. 3 hours later. Oh my word, finally. Don't ask me how I did it, but I did it. What a joke of a battle.
And as I wake up to meet the team once again, I'm personally not looking forward to what we have in store. We still only have one teeny tiny Ralts to our disposal, and that sucks. Especially having to go against Navine. I get wiped out in one sweep. And even though on the next attempt, I managed to take out the spider, Sableye retaliates in a flash. This is honestly awful. I still can't get a single upgrade of the team.
Or can I? Well, the level cap allows me to evolve Ralts to Kirlia, which is a huge bulk up in stats. Okay, not much more, but it's an upgrade nevertheless. So, then I go again, and yes, Sableye still hits hard and puts me on the brink of death, but hey, at least he gets taken out, leaving Scraggy. And thanks to our speed, we're able to hit a quad effective draining kiss, which luckily scrapes us the win. That's the champion battle I needed.
And we are to take on Xerneas next in the Battle Royale. And since I still can't get a single Pokémon to my name, I head to the battle zone to compete and grab my ticket. I have to be careful not to over level, but by grabbing cards and completing them simultaneously, I can grab points quickly. Once I do that, I try getting the TM for Shadow Ball, but no joy as I need a character upgrade. So, the least I can do is go shopping and change my look.
And despite running out of money, this is what I came up with. Pretty close considering the lack of solo white jackets. Anyways, for the battle, we have an advantage if we move quickly. Fennekin falls instantly to a simple side beam, but this beats Diapra. He sets up the reflect, but I'm waiting for the Shadow Ball to protect, followed by hypnosis. This causes him to move much more slowly, allowing my protect to recharge.
I have to just wait this battle out and slowly wither him down, ready to take on Furfrou. I still fall. I truly wish I had another Pokémon. Just one more. But, I can't. Attempt after attempt went by, and after when I thought I would struggle once more, this run happened. Yes! Come on! Eat some of that! Sadly, I had to eat some of that hideous curry back at the hotel, but hey, a win is a win in my book. So, yeah, after a restful night, I hang out with Leader and catch up with AZ.
Leader leaves her dance gear, her pom-poms all over the gaff. So, it's my job to go and play postman Pat, and well, because I actually have access to magical leaf, she easily falls to the wrath of my Kirlia. And then I get invited to the next match. But, as you can tell, I'm in dire need of a new squad member, someone who can really pack a punch. I make my way up towards the same roof as I did once more and catch my birdie.
Oh, that's where you change the nickname. How long did it take for me to figure that one out? What, 5 months? So, our Fletchinder is called Cuckoo, and Kirlia finally has the name Faith. Also, there is a nickname theme here, so let me know down below in the comments if you know what that is. SO, WHILST I GO ahead and take care of the battles this night has to offer, I wanted to give a special mention to my VIP trainers right here.
A huge thank you to those who have supported me on this journey. And if you do want to join, click that join button or head down to the description. It's a pound a month, and it supports what I love doing, and you can change your mind at any point. Also, 93% of you guys aren't even subscribed. So, a cheeky little sub goes a long way, and plus, you get to see more challenges like this in your box. I head over to a not very busy or not very hygienic restaurant, only being a one star.
But, this guy is up for the promotional match. So, to battle we go. Simisage is up against Cuckoo, absolutely obliterates the monkey. Then I switch to Faith on Simipour, but they are much tougher Pokémon to deal with. So, even though our fairy falls, Cuckoo comes back out to sweep through the competition, giving us a very easy, simple victory. That's what I needed after so long, and now, the V rank is ours. As soon as I walk out after the free meal, Emma calls, tells me to tame a doggy, and instead of doing that, the doggy does a naughty thing and flings me up on the roof.
I'm left to deal with a mega Absol. However, AZ lends us his Lucario to use, and I mega evolve to do some business. This is obviously not her Pokémon, but this essentially is a tutorial for rogue makers, so I basically just do what I'm told to do. Beat it and collect its mega stone. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. And well, the next morning, the tutorial continues because I have to use said Absol to take on Urban and his mega revolution Manectric.
Again, no getting out of it. It's a mandatory battle. It is what it is. And even though I lose by a hair length, thankfully, the game allows me to progress on. Back in the box you go. Anyways, whilst I do some further studying for Mabel's research, filling up my decks by evolving and exploring the new wild zones before arriving at Couriway Town Inc. Yes, a couple of rodents try to stop us, but thankfully, with Urban, I'll let him just do the work while I watch.
It was nice, but that grabbed Vinnie's attention and talks to us about certain Pokémon mega evolving and going rogue. To help him achieve the company's goals and to prove our worth, we have to battle him and take him on to reach straight towards rank F. I went from high up in the levels to quite far behind in a flash. So, this gives me a little more time to research some more in the wild areas before going back to battle for my ticket.
This allows me for my starter to love me enough and evolve to Gardevoir and should make things a lot easier. Vinny starts with Houndoom against Kuku and after setting up a Swords Dance, Brick Breaks were all I need. One by one, his team fell leaving one Mega Drampa to deal with. One huge Brick Break does a lot, but we do go down leaving Faye. A simple Dazzling Gleam is all I need to take the Mega Dragon down and my rank skyrockets all the way to rank F.
That was a huge win for me. I head inside to just learn how much of a dire situation the city is in. With more and more nasty rogue Pokémon out and about, I've got given the important task of bringing them down. But first, I need a mega of my own. I farm out a bunch of mega shards on the way to the cafe meeting up with Nimbian and stresses not to battle Kanari. I mean, I'm a better creator than that. But first, we have some rogue mega Pokémon to deal with.
And whilst Nimbian is getting all love losted over the yellow head streamer, we have the lovely task of dealing with Slowbro, Camerupt and Victreebel. We get the option where we'd like to go first. So, I settle on the plant, take him out followed by Slowbro, take him out, which meant only a large camel remained. But first, one thing left to do. Okay, I have money, so I may as well finish the look. And I got a new bag, too, because I didn't realize it was pink.
So, yeah. And Oh, just like that, Camerupt was defeated. >> [laughter] >> I forgot to hit the record button, didn't I? I mean, it's not like you missed anything there, but with all of them defeated, the risks have been subsided for the time being. I head back to the hotel, but Zygarde, the dog who's been chasing and stalking me, wants to fight. So, I sent some hits, took some hits, but overall, it gives me what looks like Dedenne Anyway, that thing will come handy further on into the story.
But for now, I get encountered by a rather old acquaintance of mine. But let's be off to meet back with the team. I then get my next promotional match in the Z A Royale. This obviously being Nimbian's crush, Kanari. But I think before we even do anything, this boy is most displeased and then proceeds to take me on. So, in a simple battle, I put his big mouth in his place winning quite easily before unveiling his big plan.
I make a big celebrity appearance at Kanari's Quiz Whiz contest, which in turn brings me to Kanari. But first, I have a couple of tasks. First was to head over to the research lab as I'm finally able to expand on my team yet again. I speak to Reg who gives me money to buy a fossil. So, I buy two and restore Tyrunt's name to Petley followed by an Amaura named Kahola. And then just for research sake, I grabbed an old amber for Aerodactyl, but you didn't see that.
Shush. Anyway, to carry on researching, gaining money and experience, I tackle side quests and evolutions alike as well as battling before returning to base to find Nimbian and head towards the Magenta District where he waits for us. He hands over an earpiece and tells us the password to gain entrance to the station. From there, I see loads of Kanari fans gather together to compete in the quiz. If I'm honest, I just went with the crowd which worked well in my favor, then buy a treat for Electross or burnt him crunchy, which leaves us to round three.
A traditional battle against this guy, which was tougher than expected. Raichu having coverage to my two Dynos, but once he was out the way, this just left one final question. The answer being her grandfather. And now with a promotional rank secured, it's time to battle. Before we do, I get to the cabin evolve our squad with Kahola evolving to an Amaurus, Petley evolving to Tyrantrum ready to take on Kanari at the location.
When I arrive, Tarragon wants to battle me himself. He starts with Hippowdon against Kuku. He was tough, but once he was dealt with, I make quick work of his rabbit leaving Excadrill. This time, we're against mega variants, but even so, we do huge damage. So, when he does fall, Kahola comes out to finish the job. All in all, this left Kanari and I'm at a disadvantage here. Well, I think I am anyways. Heliolisk falls to Kuku easily with a Flying Press, but from this point, it was a nasty scrap followed by a defeat straight after.
Well, rest in pepperoni. I go again. This time, Swords Dance in straight away before a plus Flying Press takes out the lizard and the scrap once again follows. Although this time, I use plus moves a lot more leading with three against one. I stall out mega revolution as much as I possibly can. So, by the time my T-Rex falls, we have the opportunity to seal the deal and claim victory. The E rank is ours. Woah, hang on.
You're a streamer. You've got to set the example. Yeah, she's a bit of a short fuse and blames it on others. So, it's fair to say you should probably, you know, subscribe to me instead. Now, as much as Leader wants a peaceful day in the city, unfortunately, that's not going to be on my schedule because three more rogue megas have emerged to cause havoc. But one of them I really have my sights on. And well, that, ladies and gentlemen, is this big rogue parrot soaring through the skyscrapers of Lumiose City.
And he has a lovely stone that I can nick for my Kuku to use. So, I absolutely destroy that rogue mega in a flash because at the end of the day, I saved some people, grab a pebble, equip it to my parrot, and now I have the wings of John Cena on my squad. And now, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say we cause absolute chaos because now I can meet Urban, my iPhone gets upgraded and can now fly before I take on the mega Beedrill, take him down meaning one more remains.
So, I grabbed the TM for Shadow Ball thanks to my upgrade before meeting up with Nimbian as night fell across the region. We find a rogue Banette sneakily creeping us out before it mega evolves. As you can tell, I go all ham against the ghost and its silhouettes, defeat the ghost, grab its stone, and then this happened. Hello? Who? What? Where? How? Sparkle, sparkle? Ooh, it's Trubbish. I love Trubbish's shiny. He's a cooler dude.
Well, it goes without saying that I find quite a lot of shinies in these challenges before heading back to the hotel for a nice little copper and then my phone rings that I've got another promotional match with Ivor. So, I battle vigorously until I grab my hands on that sparkly challenger's ticket before arriving at the fighting dojo. I find Jose once again and yep, she wants to take revenge, which probably went as well as you think for her.
As for the promotional match, that's going to have to wait because Gwen, her sister, is missing. So, I agree to help the sensei out. I head out to the Looker Bureau to find Ivor already there talking Emma's ears off, who then heads out to the John sector the next morning. I speak to the locals to then discover a lead by the cafe to then get a clue. A clue where I know just to look. Unfortunately, that girl is Kanari and wants to take revenge.
As tough as she is, I was able to get sweet two nil against the streamer. I grabbed the info I need before heading over to Croagunk's fountain. I need a squad member to freeze the fountain, which thankfully, Kahola knows Ice Beam and allows us access to the [music] sewers. On the plus side, I can continue to get Mabel's research done and dusted and navigate my way through the sewers to get to Gwen. By the time I get to her, she goes all out.
Banette against Petley. I may have forgotten I changed my moves just to get across the bridge, but needless to say, I still managed to hit hard taking out her Gourgeist in the process. This left her ace, Mega Chandelure. And I don't know why Shadow Ball was super effective, but we move. Kahola was there stalling it off ready for Faye to come out and hit hard against the ghost. She falls and with her done, now I'm ready to not see the face of justice for a lifetime.
But credit where credit is due, Ivor is a powerhouse. But I have an ace card up my sleeve. Literally. Heracross was up against Kuku, misclick for Swords Dance, not a big deal, and a quick Flying Press gives us the lead. Did it again to which I then mega evolve. Machamp clearly isn't a chump anymore as he goes down, too. So, Faelanx remains, mega evolves, then takes a huge hit, but with an empty health bar later, we just couldn't finish it off.
Our parrot falls. However, all is well because a simple claw to the face knocks it out of the park. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you get the D rank. Uh I mean, that was easy peasy. And despite the fact the whole team are peed off with Urban, I'm getting scam called that aren't really scam calls. And with the threat of bailiffs coming to the place, I head straight out to the Ross in the kit. But I have one little job to quickly do.
I catch our next Pokémon. I don't have Switch online at this point, which sucks, but at least I can grab our next Pokémon, Pumpkaboo, called Hu Tao, before meeting up with Leader at the Ross Syndicate HQ. The Grunts get dealt with, which left a showdown between myself and Felipe. Steel types aren't really my forte, especially with a team like this. I would just scrape by myself after a huge thrashing from Mega Scarmory, and somehow win the battle.
But now to business. In a nutshell, Urban shouldn't be taking loans out if he can't profit over them, or at least afford them. But because they haven't shown his face, I'm left to deal with the mess. But before we find him and give him a scolding, I have more rogue Megas to deal with. Mawile, Barbaracle, and Ampharos. So, I get to work defeating them all, but I'm not done just yet, because that left the work of dealing with Mr.
Corbeau. With Urban still nowhere to be seen, we have to do the Syndicate's dirty little jobs, and having no choice but to get started. I head over to meet the Grunt as well as a kid to deal with troublemakers. Who are they, you might ask? Casper the friendly ghost, of course. So, he gets dealt with. So, our next job is beating the Cavalry for a squad down in the sewers to clear up all the Mega Crystals, which I thankfully get to keep.
Whilst I'm here, I can explore further into the sewers and bump into Goomy, our final team encounter, who is called Sigewine, and evolves to Sliggoo. Then we had actual troublemakers to deal with from the SBC, who were practically straightforward. Then the general public, before finally heading back to the hotel to hopefully sleep for the morning. Until I get called back into his office. All I want is my beauty sleep, but it was to actually confirm that he's my next opponent in the ZA Royale.
So, I work my way through to grab myself the Challenger's ticket and get to the level cap to take him on. Now that we have team, I pick four to take on Corbeau before proceeding to battle. Arbok was first against Faye, which a singular psychic puts us in the lead. Alakazam's Roserade take a hit, then hit some more before Gyarados ends our sweep. Kaholo is slow, but we're tanking enough to take out the serpent, leaving a Mega Scolipede in the field.
It takes us out, so I simply let our Audino do the main work. A couple of G+ Rock Slides take it out us the win. With that, another promotion is ours, and we're officially rank C. Nice. He even stays for the night, tips Corbeau, and the debt is all cleared up. Everything is all good again. In fact, everyone is all feeling good, and we all decide to head to the Battle Court. Before I do that, I head back to our Zone 15 to catch the Alpha Go guys.
As much as it's not the right size Pumpkaboo ghost, it will do for this video. We also don't have access to the Sea Balm or Moddy Water and the TMs until post-game as the trader isn't here. Mega Dimension DLC. On the plus side, I can head over to the Courssica Wing to finally grab the Mega Stone for Faye, leaving one step. I wait until it starts raining, so Sigewine evolves to Goodra. And after grabbing the TM for Reflect, our team is completed.
So, let's finally take on the squad. Starting with Leader, and because she doesn't have a singular Mega Stone, I finally let our Ace loose and cause havoc with her team, as well as the means. Even with the type disadvantage, once they were defeated, we grab some food before getting invited to Hotel Richissime, home of the Battle Connoisseurs. From here, I beat up a fashion artist, don't decline her outfit, and head it straight to the party meeting Lebain.
She guides us to the venue where everyone we have battled in the ZA Royale, such as Canarian Gwyn, but eventually just Simp shows her face. And as we prep for the battle, more Mega rogues spawn in. So, we vacate the building and organize yet another strat meeting. These Pokémon are Altaria, Froslass, and Venusaur. But how it took this long for the team to recognize just Simp was in the same room as us, I don't know. Anyways, I catch up with Naveen to corner the Froslass before it Mega evolves.
This fight honestly took forever to finish, but we got out completely unscathed. Just Simp, on the other hand, had other ideas to constantly follow me around, blackmail me, and all. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm not having that. So, I waste little time I had to take on my next opponent, Altaria, which went by much more quickly. Though, I wish just Simp went away just as quick. But only one more remains, and that, ladies and gentlemen, was our favorite frog, Venusaur.
I calm his nerves down, but unable to calm down just Simp's, I quickly head back to get ready for the party. Once we reconvene with the team, I hear something going on outside the hotel to find we're in some kind of battle zone. One where we are specifically involved against the Battle Connoisseurs. So, I'm left with no choice but to battle my way out of it. One by one, they fall, leaving Lebain. Her team consists of dragons, which were ultimately no match for my Ace, until I misclicked Thunderbolt.
Everything at this point went wrong, and because of that, I actually lost. Yes, I don't know why, either. But the problem is I had to redo everything in the fight all over again. So, editor, can we just ignore the fact that I lost and we just get straight to the GOOD PART? THANKS. SO, [clears throat] AS YOU CAN SEE, SHE WAS completely no match for me as we took them out with sweet, sweet victory. Was that convincing enough?
So, once that was over, I grabbed my Challenger's ticket in the ZA Royale before catching back up with the others, take some hits, fought back, won the championship battles against Canarian 3-0, might I add. Then I followed by Corbeau right afterwards. All was going well until Zygarde comes barging through the door. Obviously, he didn't see the no dogs allowed sign, but regardless, even in his 50% form, he falls. So, being an actual promotion match, I bench Kuku for this one.
Yes, I've kept my dragons out for this one, but I think it's the right call. Just Simp starts with Carbink against Petilil, and Earthquake does huge damage, but we take too many hits, and we fall. From there, it became Scrappy. Super effective hit after super effective hit. It was simply too much to the point I'm left with just Faye. I Mega Evolve, take out her Aurorus, followed by her Gardevoir, leaving Mega Clefable.
Teebolt hits hard enough to paralyze, and it all came down to one final psychic. We just fell short, and that, my friends, is yet another loss. Okay, I switched it up, leaving with Hu Tao this time, and I was able to hit much harder. Just that small change on its own allowed us to push through harder against her team. So, when we're in a similar predicament as last time, we still had our Audino, allowing us to breeze through without losing my cool.
I obtained the B rank, and everything was hunky-dory. The next morning, AZ is on edge, and so is Vinnie. When he summons myself and Urban to the Courssica building, Jet wants a wee word with us. I'm not going to lie, I kind of zoned out thinking how on earth I'm going to get the last of my TMs for my squad. After all, the levels are getting higher and higher, and there's so much XP I can wield. I managed to get to level 41 before moving onward, finally meeting with the gang to converse over three more rogue Pokémon.
These being the strongest ones we're facing, Dragonite, Tyranitar, and the strongest of them all, Starmie. Yeah, I think I'll do that one first. How I get there, I haven't got a Scooby-Doo. What? Where? Ooh, okay, shiny Bellsprout. If it was Slowpoke, I would've been so happy. Anyhow, I get on top of the rooftop as I was meant to be on, meet with Leader and Felipe, and instead of letting us do the work, the Ross Syndicate go off and attack me, because of course they do.
However, I get them to scarper, leaving two stars and myself. I let my Alpha ghost sort this one out, and it got absolutely pooped on. It was absolutely fine, defeating it dead on. I swiftly decimate Tyranitar later on. I say swiftly, preparing took forever. All I wanted was 20 TM, and that's Focus Blast, but that's done and dusted now. And the same fate follows for the almighty Dragonite. And that should be the last one [music] of the rogue Megas.
So, I return back to Hotel Z, and get given my next Challenger's match. This time, a guy called Grisham with a shadow of a silhouette. No one knows who he is. And so, we play detective, finding the detective of Lumiose, Emma. And to protect ourselves, I have to battle her. And so, I show her exactly that we are worthwhile to deal with a threat like this. Because of course it's a threat, it's a sport. Anyways, I show her team and her big-brained Malamar a Wailord of a time, and I grab the info I need.
Next, I head over to the research lab to speak with Mabel, demanding answers, and thankfully she doesn't lie about it, which is a change, before making my way to the next stop. The new Lumo Flare food truck we hang out at. Ultimately, this nearly caused a scene, but the man seems eager to please us on the flip side. So, the location was pinged, and it wasn't long before I returned to the crime scene, [music] where I once met Lysandre.
He was quick to say I haven't caused a scene, because I managed to do exactly that, and now Giselle, this hot fuse, wants my head. So, I do what I do best. See? I'm still the Kalos Champion after all. I head back through the secrets and the destruction of the Team Flare Labs, reactivating the power and portals to explore my way through to gather the secrets I need to protect the city. Elle reveals himself and such there is another ultimate weapon and it resides here inside the city.
I need answers. Even Team Flare Nouveau's response worries me. They ain't having Floette, no way. I head straight back to the hotel with what horror I have discovered, only to have to interrogate AZ myself. He tells his tale to the entirety of the team and what must be done. But first, I need to grab a Challenger's Ticket. I grab one I need to proceed and meet with Grimsley by the tower. We stand side by side clear to begin.
Pangoro comes out first against Chespin. Flying Press does major damage and giving us an early advantage. Hypnosis allows us to set up a Swords Dance and although his Psychic hurts, Xerneas takes it out. Even a Quad Swords Dance Flying Press wasn't enough against Tyranitar and we eventually fall. The king of the lizards retaliates with an Earthquake, followed by hitting the lion, take a beating by said lion and Vasc win the finishes the job.
Once Salamence hits the field, I swap out the whole of the Quad Blizzard. This leaves Charizard who mega evolves to its X form. I have to stall out here because it's a huge threat taking out who and winning leaving I get the opening to mega evolve and hit a Singularity Bolt taking it out of flight. We win getting us the A rank. Sweet. That night I hear huge explosion waking everyone up. All four of us observe the state and although the tower is beautiful to me, we have to move.
By the time we arrive, one of us has to get to the top of that tower and to find out who the strongest trainer is, it's obviously me, right? But ladies and gents, this is technically the last trainer battle. So, last guesses if you think the office team is strong enough for what lies ahead. Meowstic is up against Chespin. Our Swift strikes taking it out. Though his Goodra retaliates with a hard hit. I can say the same about mine as win he hits hard against his.
Barely surviving and taking it down. Avalugg hits a Focus Blast like a champ as poison damage finishes off my snail. Toucannon comes out to finish off the iceberg before being decimated by Feraligatr. And it gets worse because my counter gets frozen off and only falls at the break of death. He finally falls and Manectric follows. As a matter of fact, because my moves take so long to charge up, he can throw in more protects than usual.
But by the time he's out, I still have reflect up for Emolga. He mega evolves and my only tactic really is to stall. So, fake a mega evolve yourself, take a hit whilst hitting huge psychic which thankfully gives us the win. That generally might have been one of the closest fights I've ever had in a video other than this old beauty with the ending being so satisfying. So, make sure you watch this later. For now, we have a city to save.
Floette mega evolves and gets urban above the prison tower whilst the red servers takes everything from below. And everything goes south as we get ambushed by wild mega row Pokémon and I nearly go down myself. But with everyone agreeing to help, I slowly but surely navigate my way to the magenta district meeting with and to calm Pidgeot, Kangaskhan and Garchomp. Then join streamer girl against Blastoise and Steelix. Then join the band to go up against mega Salamence and mega Aggron before chasing down Corviknight to tackle Gallade and Gardevoir.
With the streets safe, I climb up to the rooftops where I have Metagross, Alakazam and Aerodactyl to deal with. Once they were out of the way, Zygarde's all mine. He undergoes his 100% Zygarde form ready to take on and so we distract it up in the air whilst I undergo my flower weeding operation. Eventually after a couple of phases of gardening, Zygarde puts an end with Core Enforcer. Or has it? Well, then it reactivates meaning only one thing left to do.
Mega evolve Zygarde and by doing so, I release Nihilego light, the ultimate move which deflects the tower's light to ruin. And that, ladies and gentlemen, the answer beats Pokémon Legends Z A.
