Serena is arguably known as probably one of Ash Ketchum's best companions. And I mean, it's kind of easy to see why. But after becoming a top performer, she returns to Lumios for a little break before her next gig. So, I wondered, could she beat Pokemon Legends Z A or Za? To find out, I'm going to be playing as her with her team from the anime as well as the games. And to make things [music] harder, I'm going to be adding on these extra rules to add that extra challenge.
Before we begin, if you guys do enjoy Legend ZA and if you want to see me suffer through more challenges, make sure you hit the subscribe button, ding on the notification bell. But with that said, we're off to Kos. There is a bunch of character creation in these games, but for now, the base fundamentals are there. Meet an oldest arena. The game begins with a cutscene at Prism Tower, glimmering of eternal mega energy, which will cause havoc to the region before it cuts to us off on the train.
We're arriving back after a huge performance session completely retired from Pokémon. I arrive at the station after a long flight as I look for a place to stay for the night. I see a guy training up three new Pokémon before he somehow recognizes me and asks for my autograph. Before I oblige, a news report shows up with a new company called Casato Incorporated, which I've never heard of. Once it ends, someone pickpockets me, which of course I do.
It's not paparazzi here. It's thieves. And this thief is none other than my old panchcham. I'VE MISSED YOU, BUDDY. WAIT, hold up. We chase after it, engage in pursuit, chasing it into an alleyway where two trainers reside, Andy and Andre. And I have to defeat them if I ever want my bag back. But it's been 5 years now, and I haven't got a single Pokémon to my name now. Fortunately, Urban, the boy who wanted my signature, has a plan.
Okay, Serena, just use one of mine. Give me my Panchcham back. BUT I HAVEN'T GOT A PANCHCHAM. I ignore him and try to speak to my beloved bear, but this thief is claiming it's her Pokémon. Yeah, I don't think it's going to work. Thieves don't like thieves. I guess I'll settle for the Chikorita because when the challenge officially starts, it'll be difficult with matchups. But let's just say this dinosaur plant is rented and it gets me out of a tight spot.
This may have taken my Pokémon away, but on the plus side, I've got my bag. However, nights falls and a battle zone activates. This is a hangout for all competitive trainers to absolutely ruin their chances at being the best. And it just so happens we get caught up with another blonde. Typical girl fights. Chikorita again helps us to safety. Once she finds out I'm not in the battle royale, she runs away, but we get ambushed by a group of trainers.
Luckily, an eternal flower comes to our raids. And this flower I recognize from my time as a trainer. We get to safety and arrive at Hotel Z. By the time he introduces AZ to me, we actually have been acquainted from my journey years ago. He gives us a room key and a welcome home. I head up to try and get some sleep, but I get greeted by the fan once more and drags me up to the roof. This better not be a scare tactic of some sort.
In short, he asks me to join his team. I mean, everything has changed and it's sort of like I have to return the favor. So, I humbly accept and head to sleep for the night. Oh, by the way, I should mention you get Urban when you're playing as a lady and Tory when you're playing as a guy. From this point in the tutorial, my whole footage got corrupted. Yeah, it's not going well. And may I say that this is absolute hell.
I mean, hey, the grind is never easy. So, if you guys do enjoy these videos, be sure to hit the thumbs up button as well as give it a hype. I want to go above and beyond with all of my videos, and it would mean the world to me that if you guys do enjoy what you see, just to help support me a little bit, and it makes me lock into more challenges like these. Anywh who, I'm formally invited to join the ZA Royale, meet the crew, and go on the hunt for our team.
For the tutorial, we are physically forced to catch five different species. Technically, you can play Serena in X and Y, so you can catch whatever you want. However, I'm trying to use the team that she's actually been written as. So, way catch Fletchling, as that was her very first Pokémon, as well as catching a Bunnelbee as she did in the X and Y tutorial. I guess it counts. And because we've caught Pokémon, we also have done research, which means we get TMs.
One of them being rock smash and more importantly the one that we are going to be using as well as citrus berries protect. Now with that said, you're basically caught up. So let's beat up Zack. And with both of my Pokémon holding citrus berries, we're pretty much going to have to defend as much as possible. It went horribly wrong. None of my protects actually connected. However, thanks to the citrus berries, I was able to just about survive long enough against the Pikachu on the brink of death to finally take the mouse down.
But that was the first opponent. So, if we're struggling now, how on earth are we going to be able to make it to the harder guys? We meet another trainer called Emma, a detective to protect the city of Lumios. Then rushes off to the next squabble to sort out, but with a new promotion, we can finally get some rest. The next morning, we head out to the tower, but we bump into a few construction workers. Then get given a plush.
Nice. Then I go on a little parkour adventure across the roofs and getting in the sights of Kos before eventually arriving at Wild Zone 2. However, there isn't any new Pokémon we can get here. So, let's just swiftly move on. It's just a simple day out with a kind and helpful person grabbing something to drink whilst taking the view of the tower. But then we encounter Vinnie, someone from the Quasco, Inc. and works directly with the CEO.
He lets us crack on and next is to head to the looker bureau for another errand Urban is running. However, we get caught in a protest mob about the wild zones. It seems not a lot of people like it. This is the Fist of Justice crew and Jose calls out for a battle, which not like I really wanted to do, but I follow the rhythm and quickly take her out. Once they all disperse on how strong my not so strong team is, Urban allows me to adventure through Wild Zone 3.
And here is where I can really start to build up the team. Our first official Pokémon from the squad, Esper, specifically the female one, and grab some experience as well as Eevees to catch up with the squad. However, next I was able to find another Pokémon which I'm glad I found. Panchcham. This time it doesn't steal my bag and I can add it to the squad before I head over to the looker bureau. Once I meet Emma and they discuss business, I'm then tasked to help with playing detective and help out with the locals.
I don't know why I decided to take on the alpha bunnelbe first. It's actually not too bad of a catch just to keep this guy safe. But whilst I'm doing this, I'm able to go shopping for a new outfit. Though, there really isn't anything I fancy. But I do need to speak to Tracy and catch a Pikachu. So I head over there and catch not one, not two, but three Pikachu. She can have them all. I don't really care. But she wants one and gives me a Heracross as a reward.
I have a very special home for you. Bye-bye. It took a long time, but I think I personally nailed the look. There wasn't a black shirt on its own. However, I think I did good. So I return to the task at hand and eventually take on our final side quest. Ed hunt for a missing ring when it leads to a wild sable eye and we're clear to take it down. Once I return the ring, I begin to make my way back to the look of bureau.
I must have interrupted a huge issue because they were talking about a case but not for my ears. Then want to jump on a battle. Detective Emma starts with Marie Esper and I quickly noticed I was underleveled. However, despite this, I was able to start hitting hard once fake tears was in play and eventually take the sheep down. But she also has an aeros. I'm thankfully not battling this one. She only demonstrates mega revolution.
But it isn't my first rodeo, though it may as well be after the journey I've had so far. We get the notification to take on Yavon for the rank of X, but I'm a little lower on the levels. So, I take on a couple of side quests in order to raise my level. However, there is one side quest I should do first before anything, and that's to help Miss Fenkin recover. So, I head over to an old man, get info about a herb, and take on a quest to find said herb.
However, there's a slight issue. I need a Pokémon with a water move. And then it hit me. With the fact you can technically play as her in X and Y, you can technically have any starter. In this case, Froaky is acceptable and actually allowed in the challenge. So, I take matters into my own hands, beating every single obstacle course. He may no longer be the record holder, but he will be for clearing sludge off the streets.
With that problem solved, I get hunting for the medicine. Once I got it, I return to branch with the branch. And now I have a fox on the squad. And whilst I'm here, I may as well get the chest bin. Though technically if you played as Serena in X and Y, you could have used it, but I just won't for now. Now that nightfalls, I can take on the next challenge, competing in the battle royale. Honestly, it was pretty easy. But I'm trying to spread my Eevees evenly this time, so I'm being careful with who I battle and I send out.
But Chespin is ready to evolve, and he does so to Quillin. Fenkin evolves to Braxian, and Froaky evolves to Frogggin. Ivonne remains and she has a team of ponty weakmon yet she has three so I need to use three. Spritzy is up against fletchling and despite protecting all I got absolutely cooked and it's all because she constantly lowers my special defense leaving us at another loss. [snorts] I get straight back in there and despite nice switches and dodging, I still lose at the last bit.
I just have to simply be more careful and thankfully we do just that. A little rough around the edges. I'm still not great at the battle mechanics, but eventually we take down the spritzy and also the swirlix with a full team. This left the vivival and I have to wait until the light screen wears off. So while I do that, a hit a tail whip gets a beat in before sending a huge ember and tackle to take the butterfly down, giving us the win and a promotion in my rank.
Sweet. The next morning, I have a chat with the rest of the team and get to know them a little bit better. And what a better idea would be to just battle Naveen and get him done and dusted. And that's exactly what I did. As soon as Naveen was done, I get invited to the next promotional match already against Zavi. This level jump is however quite a big jump. So, I grab some more research points for not only experience, but TMs I can actually use, such as ice punch.
By the time night falls, I'm free to take on the battle leagues again. And I spent quite a lot of time grinding away and gathering money before meeting with Zaryi at dawn. I take on Quillin, my two psychic users, and Puncham, ready to take the little kid on. It's Vipedi up against Quillin Fist for a cheeky roll out [music] and catching it during his roll out. Then when Kadabra shows up, I set up with leech seed followed by pin missile.
We're on the brink of death at this point, so I switched to Esper. A light screen was set and the spoon lava falls. Brazelia gets burned to a crisp by breaks in. So this left fur through despite a mistake sending out Esper accidentally and she falls. Panchcham comes out to finish the deal with a singular break. I'm glad we were able to shine because now rank X is ours to take. I return back to the hotel for more of this abolishing combination.
However, a victory is a victory and we celebrate through the night. But the next morning, after catching up with leader, she heads off to dance practice without her dance equipment. Perhaps it is a good idea to catch up to her. And so, the same grind follows. Defeat as many trainers as I can to not only grab my ticket, which was fairly straightforward, but I had to get up to the level cap and grab EV points, which wasn't easy.
Once everyone was leveled up, we're good to go. But when I heal, Mabel calls and asks for our assistance. So, I head on over there. And here is where we can pick yet another starter. This time from Kanto. Now, normally I would say that Serena doesn't actually use one unless you play as her in X and Y. And I'm obviously not going to use it for the main story, let's say, but it's nice to be able to relive the events once again.
It also doesn't really matter which one I choose, and quite frankly, I couldn't really care. But I did a bit of research and it would be more canonically correct if we chose the Kanto starter strong against our Kos starter. In this case, I picked Squirtle, complete the side quest, and then he's going to live in the box. But it's nice to mention this for nostalgia. With that done, I head over to the restaurant to tackle on my next opponent.
He used the free elemental monkeys, so in a game makes sense to use the free starters. Sim up against Brexim and his bushy head gets bent. Simore comes out and I attempt to tail whip but it protects. The good thing is I can send out Quillin and leech seed him straight away and then simply stall. Once that monkey is out, Simeier remains again. I leech seed but he protects and has the opening to take me out. But from there, Frogggin is free to swiftly retaliate and gives us a solid victory.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy. By the time I'm finished, I notice a strange dog glaring at me as Emma jumps on a call with me, then runs away. I engage pursuit. STOP THAT DOG. EVENTUALLY, HE STOPS TO a halt by a building, then charges to attack me and put me on the roof. I'm left alone with an Absol, but luckily AZ catches up to us and lends us his Lucario to battle. This is essentially the tutorial of mega rogue battles and how to use mega Pokémon of our own.
And we also grabbed the mega stone from Absol to mega evolve. On top of that, the Absol we defeated wanted to accompany us and I say yes because it's such a rare encounter as it is. The next morning, I head back out meeting Urban and Fuette, but Vinnie calls him requesting both of our presents at the Quartico Inc. building. Before I do, however, I get called by a to listen to the people and Pokémon and Lumios protect it.
Despite Absol is a whopping five levels higher and pretty much at the cap. Urban urges us to use Absol for a mega battle, but Crocodor is against Esper. I don't know why, but that was a bad move. So, I switch back out to Quillin to be able to slowly chip and take him down, followed by his pig knight, even if I do fall and send out Kroger. This left mega Manetectric who Anihilape does. So, I let Absol come out to mega evolved.
And after a sword stance, we're able to quickly take him out. Whilst I work my way through some more level grinding, I get my kitten to evolve into Meow Stick, followed by leveling up my squad, ready for the next task. Eventually, I arrive at Croissant and get stopped by the Deni guards. It's nice if they are coexisting and working with the people in the city, but not if they get defeated, which they did. Vinnie does come to deescalate the situation and discusses the rather dire situation we are in before all of our phones beep and mention where to face Vinnie with an unknown rank.
To prepare, I carry on in the battle zones until the next morning. And now I'm ready for battle. Hound is up against Frogggin. I won't lie, this battle was a bit of a scrap, but once the dog is out, Sharpedo makes a quick move and equalizes the match. However, Quilladin is extra bulky and hits super hard bullet seeds which pushes us further ahead. Beneri may be quick though it really isn't strong. This leaving the drop pair who mega evolves.
I don't have Absol on hand so I need to be weary but I didn't even need to worry because Pancham comes out and hits super hard brick breaks and ice punches and with the help of a berry we were able to outlive a mega dragon and gives us a sweet victory. The nice thing is he is specifically high up in the ranks of the battle royale and we get a huge promotion from W all the way to F. Nice. I watch his urban battles mini 2 and now we're in a good enough position to be trusted with mega rogue Pokémon.
We head into the building to discuss matters with events starting up again as little as 2 years ago when the city started undergoing mega revolution that were dangerous to the general public. This city and the Pokemon both in pain. AZ isn't strong enough to handle lengthy battles anymore letting Urban take over. So now with Oz on board, we grab some food with Naveen and we wait for a call from Vinnie. From there, we now have our intel.
I return to the hotel ready for a strategy meeting. We split up to take care of Slowb Bro, Camaropt, and Victory Bell. And I, well, I obviously had to take them all up. I mean, we got the most experience with mega Pokemon at least. But before I think we head over to either one of them, I think it's time we get to our next Pokemon. This being an Eevee. Now, in the games, depending on what starter you actually picked, her evolution would be strong against that starter.
In this case, Flareon, Jolon, or Vaporeon. But I'm actually not going to go through that road. Now, I can very well use all three of them for evolution research, and you wouldn't be wrong. That would be a smart move. But for now, I take our newest member on one huge walk, clearing up all the mega shard debris and take on loads of Pokemon, allowing us to evolve Eevee to Sylveon. And then I get animal kisses. So now with everyone up to scratch, it's first time to take on our first rogue with our own Slowb Bro.
Again, because of EB training and the fact Meowick is maxed out, I let her do the battle. Yes, it was a very long, but the added challenge of not mega evolving is pretty cool. Then I head over to the next one. Taragon stops us with his job and well he was easy. This left the camera and I let Frogadier deal with this one letting Waral taking the Eevee points because I'm not wasting any. This just simply left the victory bell and honestly this was easy.
Like ridiculously easy. Yeah, the sludge may get in the way, but other than that it's simple. That is all of the Mega Rogue Pokémon and that is done and dusted. Back to Hotel Z. When I do return, I'm greeted by the dog again. And now it wants to battle with me. We wither it down with just Absol. And once we're done, we're gifted a Pebble. Lovely doggy. Just lovely. After the battle, I get greeted by L, but I don't know.
I recognize you somewhere. I return to the team and I'm greeted to a new challenge to take on Canari from Dynamo. Naveen knows no one else better than Canari. And to help us out, he has to battle us at a chance to make him spill. And well, it went pretty much exactly how you think. Now then, the intel, she's hosted a quiz contest, and the winner of that gets whatever they want. Okay, within reason, obviously. So, for what I want, I challenges ticket to be able to take her on.
But before I head into the building, our fox who we rescued evolved to the del [music] fox before day breaks and we head to the location. I give out the password before entering. I do compete against Canari's super fans and with the help of through her earpiece, we swimmingly get through the rounds. Once I arrive at the location, Tagon wants yet another battle. It's Halon first. And boy, this is a difficult change because he uses bulky and powerful mon.
I even got cornered at one point due to stealth rock, but when it was Excadrill and as it mega evolved, I was safe to protect and switch stall, allowing Del Fox to hit a final flamethrower. All that was left was Canari. She's pretty much a fully electric type user and I got absolutely once again. I got another loss and the worst thing was I didn't even get to the electros. I go again at the beginning of the fight went even worse simply just due to my mistake again.
I suck at this battle mechanic system though we did actually get to the end of the fight but just ran out of juice to the end to keep going. Okay, third time is the charm and this time it went a lot smoother with Meowex surviving long enough to take down the Helioisk before going instantly down to the sheep. Our fox despite getting hit hard we also returned damage quickly keeping our lead. We also got the burn on stompisk.
So when we do go down, he too falls to the burn when Sylveon comes out. So this leaves electros the fish mega evolves and we survive well enough for the eel before I got into a corner and it takes me down. This left Absol and as soon as I mega evolve, I couldn't get a singular hit. >> 3 hours later. >> Wow, I forgot how tough this battle was. On the plus side, we rank up and our friend gets us a gift, a signed plushy.
The next day, we get our jobs, new mega rogue Pokemon, and after another meeting, I get told to come up the ladder outside the hotel, and I unlock the option to rotolide before bumping into the Mega Bedrill straight away. Again, this wasp is extremely aggressive, but we were able to take care of it rather simply. Next up was meeting with Naveen and he gets given a lovely jump scare by the ghost before he mega evolves.
However, with Absol, this was extremely straightforward and pretty easy to take care of. And I mean very easy. I do hear a cry from Zygarde up on the roof and then bump into L once more. Though not much really was said other than Zygarde cannot mega evolve. This just left the Harlucha and after the general public helped us locate the parrot, there it was and mega evolved into the wrestler. This one uses a lot of ranged moves and rather rapidly too.
But eventually he too goes down and with that another wave of rogue mega Pokémon were done for. By the time I return, I'm credited for pulling the team's weight and on discussing on why rogue Pokemon aren't mega evolving until I get another message ready to face Ivor for the D rank. When night does fall, I quickly grab a new TM for two of my Pokemon to use, Shadow Ball, before entering the battle zone to grab my ticket early.
And that's what I managed to do before a new day dawn. I head over to my next stop, the Fist of Justice hideout. There I meet Jose yet again, and this time she's upgraded her team with a couple of evolutions. However, the phase was still the same. There was one slight issue. Ival's sister has gone missing. So before we battle, I agree to help him out to find Gwen. So I turn into my trusty detective, Emma. And to no surprise, Ivor is not giving her a rest.
So with him cooperating with her questions finally, then storming off, we chase him, gathering as much intel as we possibly could. So, we start with City Hall to clues that she's in Central Co Plaza to then the food truck by the prison tower on Ver District. Then then she said she's with the Twitch girl, which by the way, you should definitely subscribe to me and not to her. I mean, at the end of the day, it really goes a long way.
But I also don't charge and you can change your mind at any point. But she wants to battle, so I'm just going to have to prove I'm worth the cheeky sob. Well, that was easy. She gives us the location, so we hunt her down. Eventually arriving at the Clawites fountain, Ival starts to get angsty and almost destroys the fountain. However, I had another idea up my sleeve. I have to have a Pokémon who can learn ice beam, however, and well, out of everyone we have caught, I only know one Pokémon who can do it.
Whilst I prepare, I also catch a Swabloo for a little later on. And our frog evolves to Greninja to be able to use ice beam on the fountain. With that, the water stops flowing, allowing us access into the sewers. We do get blocked again by a locked gate. And by being forced to catch the wild cliff key roaming around, we're able to try to unlock the gate, but with no luck. So, Ivor punches the gates right through. So much for not destroying public property.
Eventually, I catch up to a Roman chandelure and to find Gwyn. There's one slight caveat to this. Despite there being nothing to the crime, Gwen wants to fight us to hear the truth. Bayonet starts against Absol. A quick night slash gives us the early lead. And as soon as Del Fox comes out against Ggeist, a few flames did the trick. This left one mega chandelier and it obliterated my team. Having said that, we are weak to ghosties.
Absol had to come back out and take the special Eevee points and finish the job. But a win is a win. And well, the truth was out. She gives the big brother well a bit of a telling off, but she shows him we are his next opponent and we are to take him on. Ival starts with Heracross against Meowstick and already we're on the back foot thanks to pin missile but we quickly retaliate and get it out with Cham comes out next and also hits hard and our fox falls.
Sylveon retaliates also. I'll be honest, this entire fight was indeed a fight. But when he sends out failings and with Absol remaining, I'm screwed. This results in another loss. However, I return from another round. And this time with Del Fox leading, I absolutely breeze through the competition, just barely holding on after taking down Metacham. So, as usual, his Failix mega evolves and hits the rock slides, but not whilst taking a dazzling gleam to the face.
Meows quickly hits hard with a plus side beam. And that is how it was supposed to be done. Let's just pretend I did this first try. With that said, the D was ours to take. I tell my story to the squad, but Urban gets a notification through at the gate. Apparently, it's not irrelevant, but what is is the fact why Naveen doesn't like the core. Again, I can see why. The next morning, Naveen is casually relaxing with Flette, but with no sign of the rest of the squad.
However, Lita is a lot more serious this morning, and well, she has wanted to give Urban a taste of her mind when all of a sudden, I get a phone call from a rep from the Ross Syndicate, some organization that Urban has messed with. So, myself and leader head on over to the Ross Syndicate HQ to represent our stupid friend and the mistakes he has made. So I defeat the grunt with the lazy eye at the front whilst leader took care of the seconds.
And whilst they were bickering on about how bad they were, this guy shows up with pierced cheeks. This is Felipe and it's time to take on this steely user. Steelix comes out against our cat. And although shadow balls take huge damage, his hard damaging moves was just too much. Less in our fox having to deal with the snake as well as the bog. So, this casually left Scarry and this thing does major damage to, well, in fact, all of my squad once more.
Absolve and take care of the birdie. With him beaten, I leave him no choice but to lead us to the boss himself. [music] We take a seat alongside with Mr. Corbo. And now to business. Yes, the loan wasn't much. I say that it was €100,000, but the interest was so bad we cannot afford to pay that much. So, now we have to work with them. and then we get kicked out. So, back at the hotel, we begin another strategy meeting now with the plan to deal with the syndicate as well as three more rogue megas.
So, let's go on an adventure. I actually start with Mega Aeros and meet with Naveen at the Holivator. However, I see Gwyn looking over and watching from a distance. Yep, I'm forced into battle, which was basically straightforward. Lovely. On the second attempt, I do manage to take her out. And she sticks to a word, spooks out a naughty ghost, and I do my part. Let's deal with the sheep. For this, I only really use Sylveon as it gains the dragon typing.
So, this fight should be easier with us being completely immune to most attacks and also dodging against Fonda. So, this was basically straightforward. Even Emma seemed pleased. The same thing goes against Mega Mobile with Del Fox by our side which again this was also straightforward just by playing range. We swiftly take it out though still in a bad spot in the team. He still runs off to help others and not repaid alone leaving everything to me.
Well, there's one more Rogue Mega at least because my team are at the level cap. I do grab a couple more Pokémon. Well, I say Pokémon, but I actually got a lot of Eevee. Three of them to be in fact. I then grab the stones I need to evolve them. Fire for Flareon, Fond for Jolon, and water for Vaporeon. These evolutions being on their team depending on what starter you picked. And on that bombshell, I went crazy in the battle royale, just grinding levels after levels with some of the other Pokémon, too.
Eventually ready to take on Barbaracle. This one is a feisty one, very aggressive and hard to hit. But once I'm able to take out his binole minions, I psychic my way through which takes him down. I do spot Zygarde alongside with L and warns us how bad rogue megas can be. But why we're here? With that, I return to the hotel to get some rest as well as a debrief when I receive a call from Mr. Corvo. So, I guess it's time to repay the debt.
I head over to the location with the same lazy eye grunt alongside a member of the general public. And they aren't all that bad. In fact, it's just to take care of a ghostly issue. And once he adopts a Gengar, I rush back out with the next task, cleaning out the sewers. Nice. Not the best of jobs. Once that was done, I head over to Centrico Plaza and stick up the children against fancy battle connoisseurs so they get dealt with.
This remains a huge mob outside the city hall. Urban gets the present of Kardico to safety whilst I deal with the Angry Republic. Saying that, I just watch as Corbo dealt with all of the Pokemon, allowing me to write this part of the script. I get thanked for the assistance as well as putting in overtime before returning to the hotel to check in on the team before having to rush back out to the Ross syndicate. This time alone.
Thankfully, instead of another job, he clears the debt and wants to battle against me. And it just so happens in the Royale, he is my next opponent. One small issue, I'm quite underleveled now. Despite me making huge progress in the battle zones, I'm back to battling more. Eventually, I'm ready to take him on. He starts with Arbok against Meow Stick. And after a quick easy sidekick, I was quick to get in absolutely out of halaped.
One by one, my Pokemon just got swept by his Gyarados. So when my Absol falls, I know what I need to do. I switch evolutions. So whilst Arbog falls exactly the same, when the serpent appears, I switch out to Jolon, a quad thunderbolt doing huge damage and takes him out. I then switch out to Del Fox on Rose who just so happened to poison it and sweep it on sending it out. So Jolion is back to taking it down, leaving Skolipede.
He takes it out with Earthquake because of course he has Earthquake. So, I spend the rest of the battle running away with mega abs soul until his mega revolution time expires. From there, I can hit a stab night slash, which eventually gives us the win. Though, we're not done just yet because over food, he becomes a guest, and the next morning, he pays a huge tip. In fact, he settled the debt against man, so everything is all good to go.
On top of that, the team get mega rings and stones for everyone to mega evolve, and we're heading up to the big leagues. But first, a showdown on the battle court. Let's pause for a quick second. Remember the Swabloo we caught a little earlier on? Well, trainers are going to start having full teams. So, I finally evolve my dock cloud into Altaria. Once I catch up with the rest of the team, leader still doesn't mega evolve because yeah, her ace is still a staru.
Yeah, no sweat. Naveen, on the other hand, I have to say I love his mega scrofty, but still easy peasy lemon squeezy. It was at this point we headed over to the cafe. We get interrupted by this woman. Word surely spreads quick, although there is a celebrity on the team. Lady Justine wants us to join her at a SBC ball. I mean, there's dance, there's food, it's by Miami. There is a dress code, however, and it just so happens there is a woman who has custom outfits.
But I have to battle her to receive them. So, I do just that. And as requested, defeat her forges with a mega evolved Pokémon. In this case, Absol. So, I grab my outfit and it looks horrific. Absolutely not. So, it's time I go shopping once more. This was the best I got. I'm sorry, but why can't you have any dresses in a Pokémon game? Why? Well, by the time I arrive at the hotel, everyone seems to be wearing dresses, and then Lady Jim shows up in the most insane one of them all.
So, it's pretty clear to say that she's bought all of them in the whole dank city. But, we have to excuse ourselves for more rogue megas. I returned to the hotel, this time for Frostlass, Alaria, and then Venusaur. What felt a little strange is that just simp joined us for this very meeting. She's begging for us to reconsider the tournament. So I tell her to beat it and I can carry on my work. I think I might get out of this outfit now.
I arrive at the rooftops on route 12 meeting up with the mean to tackle the frost loss. She was straightforward. However, just is still all over us with the holo casters. So I best clear through these quickly. Next on the agenda was Alaria, which with Leader was straightforward, just the whirlwind wings were annoying. However, once we do slowly but eventually take care of the fluffy cloud, we received the Alaria Knight, something we may as well use.
Just once again begs us to join and threaten us to buy out the hotel, should we not. But there remained one more Venusaur. The evolution was imminent, and thus we brace ourselves to take on the poisonous frog. Luckily for me, we resist both types, so I chip away being able to do enough damage to take him down. Yep, just simp is still begging for us. But for now, we decide to head back. Once I do return all safe and sound, I think it makes sense we head back out to the fancy hotel to catch up with the tournament when something happens outside.
We join Urban when we find a whole courtyard as a battle zone of some kind. In fact, this is a just simp zone. Only the SPCs use these. and we're forced to battle for refusing to take part. This is definitely blackmailing. However, one by one, I slowly but surely take the SBC trainers out, leaving Labani, a two split personality girl called us punks and now wants my head. No is up first and Silon makes quick work. Although her god chomp retaliates in the same way.
Once Absol makes quick work of it, the T-Rex is next and hits just as hard. Meowstick barely holds on whilst taking it down. And this leaves Jagalgi and she absolutely screws us over. Because of this, we had lost and had to defeat the trainers all over again. However, once that was done and dusted, I managed to just about take her out and only just I get warmed just on who she is, but it seems like I've got no choice but to battle her.
She's my next opponent and I need said ticket. So before I return to the crazy lady, I take on the battle zone and gather the points I need for the challenges ticket. Once I got changed, I head straight back into the event to battle. Well, this is definitely showing off and a little bit bossy. However, we do the turn to keep her quiet. The first opponent is Canari again. And with no difference to her team, I make it light work.
I take it back. I nearly lost the challenge. Ivor is next. And with our new Pokémon, this was a lot easier. So we took him out pretty simple as well as Corbo. I tell a lie. Corbo rs through me. Eventually he gets beaten. So this left Symph. However, before we do, Zygard comes running over wishing to battle against me. Though this time in its 50% form to battle we go. And honestly, it was pretty straightforward. Then runs off alongside with Lanzandre.
This finally left Jinth. If there was a battle I was worried about, it's this one. My team are weak against fairies and with no coverage, I'm in a rough time. Carbink is up first against Meial Stick and it was a slow battle, but we were up for an early lead. Once more wild comes out, I switch at the perfect time to Del Fox and burn it to the ground. Aurorus comes out and I really have no coverage. I slowly wither it down, eventually taking it out with Sylveon, followed by the same process with Gardevoir until my ribbon friend can't take it.
Del Fox comes back out to shadow ball it out. So, this leaves Clefable who mega evolves. However, he's the turn of events. I get a lucky burn and hit hard flamethrowers and psychics. So, when I do finally go down, I could stall out the fight for Clefable to faint on its own agenda. Actually, this wasn't too bad. And now we're up to rank B after celebrating dinner, which to my surprise, how we didn't get fed at the party is beyond me, whilst Flet and AZ had a moment trying to speak out to Age and then cries away.
The next morning, AZ is deep in thought and knows the city is in pain. But as we discuss, Vinnie calls out for our presence [music] once more in the Quisartico building. Before I do that though, I hunt for our final Pokemon of the squad. This being a Clefairy who evolves instantly with a Moonstone to Clefable. This is our final Pokemon for the team and eventually arrive with Urban to meet up with Vinnie. We all head inside to meet the CEO of Quasatico Inc.
Jet. She goes over the history and what exactly happened about Prism Tower before Vinnie gets information about even more rogue megas roaming around the city. Once we get back to the hotel for a meeting, we have our plan set for the Dragonite Tyranitar and finally start me. But I'll get straight to the point one by one. They all felt the wrath of my new fairy, taking them all out despite me having to take care of some Beldin to open up Holivator as well as deal with Felipe of the Ross syndicate.
But once I'm through to take on the mega rogue Patrick Star, that's another wave of megas defeated. Once I return to the hotel, we argue in just who is the strongest trainer wielding Mega Revolution when we're interrupted by my phone letting me know my final opponent to be the top of the ranks. The problem with that, we don't actually know who that trainer actually is. So, first of all, we head towards the Labir road to speak to Emma.
And despite the dangers, our detective friend spills, but not without a battle, which went as scrappy as well as you think. But after the fight and just about dealing with Malamar, I get sent her over to the lab for more detective work. I never actually realized her chair has the Team Flare logo until now. Once I do speak with her, she spills that we absolutely wrecked her team a couple of times 5 years ago and gives us the info we need to track down Grizz at the New Vo Cafe food truck by the tower.
So, head on over there and speak to the tender, but the suspicions arise and so do the tensions. So much so they tell me to head over to a specific location, a location we haven't [music] stepped foot at in 5 years. This was Lyandre Cafe and once they have closed up shop, they get me into a corner and take me on. This was the same grunt I had to deal with. I have no choice but to take on Griselle. The teams are a lot tougher.
Talonflame against Meowstick and this bird was quick. Hit it just as hard as we were. In the end, we fell too short and fall, but Sylveon comes out to get sweet revenge. From there though, I get absolutely destroyed by her Aerodactyl [music] with most of my squad fallen. However, once Camero takes out Alaria, Absol comes out and I make my move. I mega evolves and don't stop hitting. This was enough to deal with the camel as well as the Metagross, leaving her ace mega pyro.
We hit hard slashes though with the burn that really negates what our dog can do and foss we fall. This leaves Del Fox and a simple sidekick takes out the girl. That wasn't a deserved win, but a win is a win and at least they perk up my team as well. I re-enter the building as I had done 5 years ago. The whole place looking bare and worn. So, you want to know the true history of the team? Uh, I kind of already know that I did invade this place once. just shut up and listen.
Obviously, to no surprise, I have already heard this story from Lanzandre as well as AZ before heading in for the weapons blueprints and coming back here to see the destruction and chaos has left me cold. I rush over trying to stay alive against the wild Pokemon to each switch in search for all of the lab keys as well as the elevator key allowing me into the exact same cage AZ was locked away in and into the labs with the blueprints of the weapon.
I retrace the steps and relearn what occurred before a redeemed Landre himself as well as Zygarde shows themselves. Though this is when I realize they're after the key to Prison Tower's device. thereafter his Pokémon Fuette. I quickly returned to the hotel to have an explanation from AZ as well as the rest of the team. A true dark tale of an old eternal man and his eternal flower. And now the events that occurred in Geioenge can happen again right here.
So to stop what is occurring, I need to defeat Gisham. And there was one slight problem. Whilst getting the challengers ticket, Alaria did in fact overlevel. So, in fact, I'm actually on the back foot of this battle before we had even started. By the time I'm ready and have Panchcham as a backup, this fight I'm extremely nervous about. Pangoro is up first and we've still be able to take the lead. Despite Ba Punches hurt, we take it out.
And actually, from there, it went swimmingly well. And despite Panchcham being so underleveled, he held out completely okay on his own until Tyranitar shows up. This thing sucks. And with the help of citrus berries and aacular fabulite mega stone, which was what I needed for Godzilla, as well as do a huge chunk to Salamaments. So now this simply left Charizard against three of mine. But I'm going to have to stall here.
Once I survived long enough, I can quickly mega evolve Absol and take out the fire dragon. I don't actually know how I did it with a padam on the squad, but I did it. and I'm the very strongest trainer of Lumio City. It's now a question of can I rescue it from destruction. Well, a little later on, a huge bang was heard in the city and towards noticing the destruction in the city center. I guess it's up to team MZ to put a stop once and for all.
Before we do, however, it's up for the other A-rank trainer to go up against me, and that is Urban. Both army sticks clash though we had the type coverage though it's quick and gets taken out easily with Avalog. So my Ace comes out takes a hit then burns the iceberg to the ground. Go comes out next and I make the switch to my actual fairy get poisoned and wither it down with a couple of moonlights with Feraligator coming out to quickly finish its suffering as well as pump my cloud dock dragon to the moon.
I let Absol mega evolve and hit hard getting revenge on the crocodile as well as the manetric. This leaves the pig emperor who mega evolves and a cool one at that. So while it does finish off my dog, Sylveon could come out and get the destined win that is ours to take. Despite this, Urban has chosen to go up to the tower because we're strong enough to take things outside should things go south alongside with Zygarde.
But with a plan in mind and the brief from AZ, Flowads mega revolves and does her part and the device in the tower. Yeah, let's just say it didn't like it at all. Corrupted, overgrown, and deadly. We head down ambushed by rogue mega Pokémon all across the city once we're able to conduct the strategy when all of a sudden Canari and everyone else in hologram forms as well as Vinnie comes to our aid. A route [music] was planted and we're clear to rush on over to Zygarde who is waiting for us.
So my first stop was to Ivor and Gwyn to stop multiple wild Pokemon. From there, Gwyn stays behind as I follow Ivor to create a path past the river and get to Canari and Teragon as well as their biggest fan, but he should be a fan of me. Anyways, Steelix and Blastoise were dealt with followed by Solomon and Agron with Labani a little later on. And I give Corbo a bit of a hand with mega gales and Gardevoir. This fight in particular was hard and I did get taken out on the first go.
But once we were through with them, I climb up the Ros Syndicate ladder and with the help of Team Flare, Nuvo, Mega Metagross, Aerodactyl, and Alakazam were finished too. This just left us to follow Zygard and finally deal with the troublesome machine, Hyper Rogue Age. At this point, it has corrupted Fuette. And now it's up to us to stop it. first with the eternal flowers while Zygarde finishes the battle up high. It was a long and gruesome fight, but a single core enforcer did the trick.
I just let Fuet do a thing or not. The plus side, Zygarde undergoes his mega revolution thanks to the pebble he gave us earlier on. And at long last, we can put an end with his new signature move, Nighhill Light. And that, ladies and gentlemen, puts an end to the destruction of Lumio City. and that Serena had become the strongest Mega Evolution trainer of all time. We had done it. Thank you all very much for watching.
