oh sorry wrong anime today's video is all about dinosaurs and the g region is full of them so I'm going to play through the entirety of Pokémon sword and shield with only dinosaurs and to make things harder slap on extra rules to spice them off yep that's the intro let's get right into it let's first of all meet Rex the hero of the adventure and the challenge starts like the rest of the challenges and upon meeting hop who meets up with Leon we get a choice of three a monkey a rabbit and a lizard but none of them are dinosaurs I mean technically they're lizards in which case soble but no I want bigger and better so I stick my nose in places where I shouldn't be going to and upon dreaming of a dog with a shield on its face I awoke head over to the next town meet up with the professor's granddaughter who is more into Pokemon than historic dinosaurs of Gala and in that town is a poke center with a little bit of a surprise this is Trio for Ryan that's a gecko I know I know you just going to have to bear with me on this one especially considering we're calling him Utah you'll see why later on although a quick shout out to my great friend Scarlet fairy for helping me out with the femine as always now that the Run has officially started I decide on getting a quick change of clothes to better suit our appearance for now this will do but the femine is there he's a cool and calm guy I just wish we had a Carnotaurus like oh wait shame you aren in this game little guy despite this Utah absolutely destroyed all the first trainers we bump into on route two making it a rather comfortable Journey to the professor's house this left hop squabbling and desperate to battle the future king of dinosaurs never mind the champion but it's a 3B one so I'm not too sure how this going to work I kind of forgot how bad hop is to be honest after that last fight I do get a load of level UPS on my belt now that's not necessarily a bad thing if we didn't have to worry about overleveling at the first gym which is quite a bit of way but the next morning the professor hands over a device which makes Dino slashing all the better by growing big back at the train station I do get mocked for not catching any Pokémon but not much I can do when dinosaurs well aren't here but after a bit of issues traveling and having to stop off at the wild area this became my huge playground I can go for one specific Pokémon this after quite some time being actually and by some time I mean 4 and 1 half hours now look this is arguably more based on reptiles but a few things to consider it has a mixture of therapods in its style its final form literally has orus at the end but with now and Bulbapedia says it's based off dinosaurs so I'll take it call it hetero short for heterodontosaurus and finally get on with my day eventually I arrive in the adrial City motor Stoke where I meet with Sonia and then get access to DLC areas and they will become our bread and butter for this challenge but instead of making my way to the ceremony I completely miss it from Haunting and instead go further window shopping to which nothing caught my eye where have you been you missed the ceremony uh fossil hunting okay I went raid hunting all day fortunately I was still able to participate grab my new uniform number 144 one of the card numbers from the TCG I get a sced to the body in beat up a couple of loud punks and the next morning absolutely Crush hop Mega drain at the early game is just so helpful and one by one they all fell down to Utah's ra non carnivorous moves not much really on L rout three other than level grinding and the fact Utah evolves and well doesn't look like a gecko anymore but more of a Feather dinosaur now you see why I used it but also I actually have coverage and it's not like I need it but the odd battle here and there did have type out matches and almost at the cap I'm ready to take on bead the pink coat and the curly hair just says trouble and yep he got absolutely crushed so yeah all was going well until I get ran over by the gym leader sheep but maybe they're just rioting about the farmer strikes in the UK I guess oh sorry B off topic back to the gym battles I did had to help out Sonia's investigation about The Darkest Day in ancient Gala and when I mean ancient I mean medieval nothing relating to meteors and huge reptiles roaming around the land nothing too interesting and Nea was doing his dirty work for him in the gyms am I a dog no I'm a member of the D team crying out loud but eventually the stage is set and I'm ready to take on Milo it's Goss of Flur against heads around first to be honest I don't know why I'm commentating this fight because look swept one flower then the dandelion grows big so I do a Cheeky Dino slash and our heto grows big mag strikes do a little bit of damage while Max Rim wins do roughly the same until then it goes for its stab which is a whopping Five Points of damage well with that said I blew the plant away giv as a nice and easy first badge I also found it to be a good idea to leave the farm town with only hetero so Utah doesn't over level on the way to hulbury and the journey was actually quite nice the goal was to give as much room for our Raptor as possible for you guess it a clean sweep so after helping out another researcher unfortunately dealing with Team yell as well as hops upgraded Squad I cross the bridge arriving at the sea through town and boy oh boy I do anything to be in shorts right now like rose on top of that I found the gym leader by the lighthouse to which she took a Lykan for me and invites me to the gym but little does she know that my team are going to absolutely decimate hers and by my team I'm on about one Utah raptor she goes absolutely Bonkers during the mission and yet even more insane during the battle with Nessa goldine does one horn attack and yes the Aruda bites but the damage just gets recovered through Mega this left one big turtle trador I let the big jaw monster dynamx as I stay in my base form and again zap the health when then able to survive the max Darkness though I do not take it well at all this puts us in overgrow range and that's my trap mate because instead of a base 40 special move but I then grow my dinosaur go for Max overgrowth which is boosted to 90 yeah it's safe to say it was not living that one what can I say another BGE was hours to the touch and although that was very fun and easy that's when the easy times stop here and now I get encountered literally right outside the gym by Rose's pet get told to go and get some food at the restaurant which I'm all up for it's free food for me at the end of the day but the adult conversations are boring me so let's crack on and as soon as I step one foot out the restaurant I've got hop charging at me telling me to keep up and intervene with a training session so I follow him enter the Easter mind to encounter bead again oh you again I'm going to tear you up piece by piece oh yeah you and what army from there I catch straight up to team yell team up with hop to take care of Team yell then find some more grunts interfering cabby when his car call actually scratch that I don't think it's his now that I'm able to challenge probably the most challenging fights of the challenge I must prepare myself so I head back to the train station deal with even more Shenanigans and just in time for the next train down to the crown Tundra this place is dinosaur heaven and after about 40 minutes of hunting I managed to find the king of them all Tyrant obviously he's based off a tyrannosaurus and the alpha gang have Terry so that's the nickname now I'm off to bed I hear you after dinosaurs uh yeah I am you're so weird you wouldn't dare okay never mind yep I lost to a mouse I can't believe my squad of dinosaurs are afraid of a little mouse second try was the charm but only because I changed out the lead in Pokemon and since Terry is on the level cap it's only up to hero and utar to deal with the mess we get to moreco once more get our sped and a bite literally puts of us on one HP oh but it doesn't matter because we get flinched it even outspeeds Utah and flinches again yay we just survive on a second bite and a gigar drain does huge damage so quick Attack Just falls short this leaves the opening for a bite to crit and yep to Extinction we go however on the level cap we get access to Dragon Dance and this should be the answer so now with a boosted attack and speed I'm able to onot the Frog absolutely punt the Scraggy to the moon but the rat still outspeeds this time we don't get Flinch and it survives on just a sliver but the super potion was used giving us a free opportunity to get it back down her Tera may fall but Utah just manages to get the Revenge with a giga drain nice the next morning I'm ready for the gym the challenge for this one is fairly simple I haven't got much room on the level cap so I need to play it safe followed to the rules of the game and catch the Pokemon for two points rather than kill for one which never happen having said that a win is a win so we press onto the actual battle this one I'm a little worried about due to his roster but if I'm smart it'll be fairly straightforward it's nine Tales up against hetero I know I wouldn't outspeed even after Dragon Dance So I take the Willow whsp and hit hard Dragon claws as I take the petty fire Spin and Ember if it wasn't for two crits this could have gone differently Arcanine intimidates which is fantastic so when it equalizes the match you Utah comes out for just simple chips getting it down to half before falling this may seem rough but actually it's good for Terry to Dynamax and even with the willow wisp destroys the big dog this leaves his Ace Center Scorch and is our first gigantamax opponent even with the burn it's not enough for us to not decimate the centipede with a qu effective rockfall move easy peasy lemon squeezy so with that gym done and dusted we get a nice smiling send off back to the wild area where they have recommended training up and well bead goes off to battle hop but I'm going to ignore both things for now and look for more fossils now this one is pretty easy work once I arrive in hammerlock and get some new and fresh attire I bump into the chairman Rose and listen I know there is a crisis going on hit on me but nope I have my mind on someone else however now with all of this rock is out the way this Rocky route used as a digging site takes us all the way to Stow on side home to the next gym from there I can enter this Pokemon Center as I need to heal but more specifically to this geizer here who lends us some fossils two Drakes with these in the palm of my hand I can return to the wild area and speak to these two diggers and it took a few tries but I managed to get the fossilized fish from the stamina brother and the skill brother scammed me for 7,000 wats so yeah it took a long time but we finally got to the fossilized Dyno so I returned to the scientist to resurrect the historic pass a draco fish named dun trus as well as an AR named Placer Raptor she says these lot wandered around in ancient Gala although let's be honest she should be grabbing appointments at the job center I actually unscrambled these myself in a short and they were so much better but for now let's carry on I level grind back through the rots before returning to the town for my gym challenge but first hop wants a quick battle and by quick it was very quick Kar couldn't live upon the shock and Utah doing most of the work making this fight very straightforward so with my team burst into go I waste no time and take on the leader of the Shadow realm whilst I do this teacups Challenge and may very well retaliate with hex but Terry can come out and instantly knock it out with a strong jaw crunch which also crits this leaves his Ace which is one big ghost so what else could I combat this other than one big baby T-Rex a gmax terror hurts a lot however one huge Max Darkness takes out the ghost in One probably because of the critical hit we do a celebratory big raw and the ghost looks up to the sky as soon as I literally step foot outside the gym I have a dog around my feet and Sonia bumping into me wanting to investigate a dig site could this be dinosaur fossils well no it was only a tapestry on the walls and yet bead is destroying it absolutely unacceptable so I Ponder Al light Pokemon to the Moon Utah fully evolves a septile and more of a feathered Raptor now he gets caught red-handed for criminal damage and stealing the May's elephant bye-bye off your pop silly knob and well the old statue isn't fossils just dogs so I guess onwards and upwards this is where it's going to get real tricky because this gym specializes in fairies I've got a team of dinosaurs and three of them are dragon types this is not going to be fun I W through the forest trying to create the ultimate plan which I think I've got in the wild area I grabbed the TR for Iron Head for Terry from All the ROM rallies as well as the max Ray dens I also earned the TR for psychic fangs so that will help a lot I will mainly use Terry with psychic fangs rock slide dig and Iron Head Ed with wild charge in addition for Place Raptor with that said and done I'm as ready as I can be for the gym challenge however diesl think it's a serious examination which is funny despite being in the room full of fairies but all they did was trying to confuse me so yeah the easy part was done and dusted but now was the great battle between dinosaurs and fairies oh boy Garian we in is up against Terry first and yeah fairy wind hurts but a strong jaw psychic fangs does wonders here we also get the speed boost which I have to rely on marw comes out intimidates so I play a major risk and go for the early Dynamax and thanks to Max Quake Boos in our special defense it helps set up against the opposing threat two Quakes take it out then a final steel Spike boosts our defense with our defensive set and a lucky Flinch toiss is a goner this leaves her Ace Al creamy now it's time to waste to gigantamax turns and dig yes we fall on the second turn but Utah can protect on turn three though not fully and take 13 hit points just to stall out this results in a simple HP grab and go match which ends in our favor and that ladies and gentlemen just might be the hardest gym fight box off I didn't expect to win that nor for that to work but it did I may fail the audition because apparently I lack pink but a win is a win a badge is a badge oh and I want an escort back to the main city but I want to explore some more because the next gym is also another huge Challenge ice though nowhere near as bad but I fancy adding a new dinosaur onto our Squad but I managed to find two one of them you'll find out later on as it's not a dinosaur until it fully evolves but the other one is say hello to our terod of the team Aerodactyl an oldie but a Goldie and well ladies and gentlemen that's it for all the dinosaur Pokémon there's obviously more such as less and obviously heto but I want to use unique Pokemon that no one has in the main game so with bead getting abducted by the weird wizard adults get to adult which is a hard and sad life and a new roster of TMS purchased I head over to Route 7 to have a friendly exhibition match with hop and well he got embarrassed badly he even had the opportunity to attack with bolon but he just kept roaring my Pokémon but after this defeat I got another Revolution this time Terry grew to the king of the Cretaceous Period Tyrantrum as we head up Route 8 to the cold parts of the galar region I take on everyone to grab as much experience as possible mentally readying myself for the shock horror that awaits us settling on Terry my two scramble fossils and teral I arrive at the gym to hop taken a loss which doesn't help my confidence but hey I took on and battled the wizard with huge weakness and won How old could this be well the gym mission was very hard because the biggest thing dinosaurs lacked was a said's direction momy however we persevered and came out unscathed in fact the worst part was over time to take on the queen of ice no not Elsa Melanie I have to hit hard and quick against frosmo and our terod dactal does exactly that with a qu effective rock slide though the big threat is indeed Dar manutan a huge rock slide thankfully takes it uh-oh finally we Flinch it and still outp spe with an iron head that was super close ice cube is next and we take out its Ice Cube take a freeze dry and on the next turn we missed the rock slide great we lose our pterodactyl I send out Terry and expecting hail the penguin begins to stall but it goes for amnesia which gives us the opening to strike back with fire Fang that remains a dinosaur of her very own Lapras I should say The Reincarnation of arton Ness it grows big and we do huge damage with rock slide but have to sacrifice the king of lizards we go down in vain dle trus comes out for a simple protect to stall out not only the gigantamax turns but also her Aurora Veil so when one fossil Pokemon Falls another one takes its place place aapor grows big and finishes off with a Max bolt of lightning we had to play this one smart but it all paid off giving us yet another Victory against a huge weakness of ours sweet although next let's not leave you on a cliffhanger and showcase the other capture I caught this steel frog but not for long because he evolves to trace ceratops on its hind legs it's the closest we're going to get to pretty much one of everyone's favorites I call it Chomp like Max's Triceratops from the anime and with that done and off did that's pretty much all the main dinosaur Pokémon in the game as a Victory celebration I joined Sonia and hop for Cory when all of a sudden i' find a fantastic looking poster of Bob on a serious note she's more interested in the tapestry and the Knights but I'm a dinosaur Hunter and once their conclusions of the mystery are done I once again battle hop this time chump gets his debut and absolutely wipes out his team oh boy oh boy Leon is going to be in trouble before moving on I think it's time to almost finish my character customization so I lengthen out my hair and d a blonde as well as sort my eye color and eyebrows you guys reckon we look familiar well this scientist and team yel grunts are familiar so I make them swim in the ice cold Waters of Route 9 before chasing them all the way to their base myth the gym is closed however man gives us another way into the rundown area not without a battle of course however dinosaurs against the cat and some emo creatures can't be too much trouble right oh God you are bad PTSD without a great switch I hit a rock slide and thankfully grabb the Flinch but torment is in play so I switch out to place here Raptor to Vault absorb the spark we get tormented again but Avalanche takes out the pesky rat from there the rest of the team were pretty much straight forward and with that bet out of the way it's time we do some digging with Utah Place theor put away for this one my four dinos trash the place which says a lot because these kids have already done that and also look like they haven't seen any sun I thought my character was pale so I work through the team yel grunts each and every one of them scar it after seeing my team of historical rulers of the world and even man slaps a guy in the face what a scene that was all that's left to disband the team was the gym leader himself this guy famous for his heavy metal rap appear but what's better a guy screaming down a microphone all the ruls of my squad it's not a pop quiz I think we all know the answer scra was up first against our pterodactyl but he intimidates so I quickly switch out to Chom for fake out doing a whopping two points from there a body press puts the salamanda on the brink of death BR bre hurts but the second squash puts it down on the six feet he instantly brings out his Ace obson I think I know his tactic and after the switching I was correct obstruct but Donal trus gets hit hard thanks to a critical hit pterodactyl tends a fly which it's timed perfectly as it goes for obstruct the AI does learn this and I get really unlucky to not get the crit and does put up on the back foot a little bit of switching and taking another throat chop gives us the clear to knock out the raccoon Malamar finishes off chops pain leaving only Terry this really isn't looking good by the time we take it out the damage had already been done so scun tank had a really easy retaliation well I can't believe it this guy has beaten my team of dinosaurs but I wasn't ready to give up this time switching to pterodactyl on turn one to a fake out then I go for fly payback does about half and a wing attack after seals the deal Al terod can't do much now but a fly does a good amount before it equalizes but not for long because dun trus gets to Revenge with a leech life it's obst Toon's time to shine so I switch out the chomp on obstruct which is perfect and a quad effective body press puts it on The Brak of death however counter would have killed us if it wasn't for sturdy though it was completely pointless due to it outspeed and straight after our fish scramble gets the obstruction followed by throat chop before finishing it scang and we leech life for recovery on Screech now it's the time to switch to Terry for three as soccer punch fails and dragon claw does a lot even after the after math damage we're still good he falls and that was a much better run and literally as soon as I exit there's some trouble and yep we get dragged out Leon was there and says there's no need then runs off so I chase after him for hop to show him on the news okay I know he's the champion and all but surely my dinosaurs would be just as good according to Leon he just wants the match will either be myself or hop and that's what we're going to find out here in the Dragon Gym the final one of the bunch we're just as bad as each other here though I have a con in plan to persevere but first to finish off some Mo sets Utah gets Dragon pulse energy ball and acrobatics alongside gigar drain for Recovery pterodactyl gets Stealth Rock and place aapor gets rock slide but I think now it's time to take on ryen and his challenge this is all in double battle format but I think I have a way to be able to beat this team I get through the gym Mission with little trouble allowing me to take on the king of beasts Ryan although I'm really the king of beasts have you seen my squad it's Flygon and Giga live against Placer Raptor and Utah now Utah was questioned at the start of this challenge but how is that a dragon uh any who I instantly sap its life with gigar drain yes I completely forgot to add on energy ball at this point and the dragonfly goes for break and swipe which lowers my attack a huge body press hurts though we can carry on and a quad effective avalan is a quick knockout a second gigar drain takes out its rock monster but it snake yes not a dragon a snake finishes off my scrambled Raptor what is this team oh and it gets worse because his house gigant Maxes upon Utah and Chomp the sandaconda doesn't live to see the rest of the turn and as the D badon punches Chomp it goes on the ground I played the Tactical move to Dynamax Utah and despite it not being super effective we at least undo its attack boost we take a steel Spike well and despite the defense boost Chomp was able to do enough damage would dig for a second whind to finish it off it's over there a fairly easy gym challenge this time around and honestly the most enjoyable but that's easy bit done now it's time to earn my spot in the finals I can send my wishes to now professor sonnia before hop and I grab the next train to the harsh mountains of this region we may as well call this Victory Road but it's just called Route 10 which is honestly a shame I managed to stay in the level cap battling the final trainers before arriving into the capital of Gala Winden I grabbed my final piece of clothing to complete the Rex look and also the TM for Thunder Punch just to give chump an easier time with water types with that done let's take on the semi-finals first off is man and as she torments me I set the field up she also sets up her special attack and I miss great luckily all she does is set up and doesn't even hit me so next was her rat but dinner is on her after a Stone Edge oh I'm not having much luck here a huge spark punes on the brink of death but thanks to Iron Head we take it out Scrafty comes out and fly does a lot of damage but it's not off crunch takes out our pterodactyl dunal trus being the quickest one here finally gets the lizard gone jitu frog follows but only barely as we follow soon after to poison however this is perfect because Chom can come out against Grim snar we both D in the max but somehow we outspeed allowing us to hit a huge Max Steel Spike wiping out the Goblin and giving us the win there remains one Challenger left and that being hop and the battle goes exactly the same as the previous one except the fact it didn't after multiple body presses seeing as it bulked up to plus 6 defense reversal instantly whacks my Chomp to the shallow whm place your Raptor despite getting hit hard also equalize as a match then comes Snorlax and thanks to Flinch with rock slide I'm able to do quite a bit of damage before going down to hammer on this isn't a bad thing however as he's a lot slower now but I make the mistake and send out ter that do which we thankfully pull off the problem is this baits pin churching I stay in and yep that was the most stupid decision going as he curses I tried to crit but no luck I'm not risking staying in I have to switch to Terry a f the ball doing just under a quarter that could have gone wrong but hop throws and a second earthquake takes it out corite comes out and doesn't take Rock slides too well but steel Wings hurt and do retaliate terod that do returns and this has to hit and it doesn't we get slowed take another steel wing and thank God we hit to take it out this leaves intellion and because we're slowed he gets the advantage and goes for the wipe out with a hail storm it's up to Utah who has again and again taken care of this lizard it manages to outspeed but a Max overgrowth causes it to blow up and gives us a win now as an intense final hot battle I get a Crowd Oh it's just Leon on the plus side he offers food so you know I can happily accept that although he doesn't show up and Hop's getting hungry so what a better way of teaming up with Team yell to take care of some business so yeah they go yelling and Mos go roaring we chase this one Marco Cosmos guy to the station from there the noise only gets louder and the opening is made thanks to the public I'll make my move to the tower bop to the music and take out every single guard there is to the the very top all that's left is oana otherwise known as the mayor's pet she starts with frost lass against pterodactyl I need to swiftly take it out which I thankfully do malotic is next so I switched to Chomp for free on Aqua ring but then I forget I'm part rock type however it works at my favor because place the Raptor can come out and hit wild charge which doesn't do as much recoil I once again need to switch when salazzle appears to donl trus I think she knew and went for a poison move move followed by venoshock this hurts but a waterfall takes it down Serena is out and again you guessed it I switch back to place Raptor take the acrobatics well followed by trop kick but an avalanche absolutely destroys this plant this leaves her piece of trash Garbodor who instantly wipes us out which is exactly what I wanted so Terry can come out and retaliate with a huge Max quake and just falls short the weak armor ability kicks him and she throws mobile Rock fall so one more move gives us the win nice now let's tell him off and get my free food the next morning marks the day of the champion finals and whilst this cut scene goes on I'll just quickly let you know that I swapped Utah's moves again this time gigar drain for detect but before I can even compete bead wants one more fight and yep with his team of fairies now I knew it was too good to be true however with the team upset with we're good so I seriously wered down mwh followed by eating a huge play rough and taking it down to just a second earthquake that's only why I brought Terry into this God of War comes out Dazzle gleams the T-Rex which I'm fine with because pterodactyl can come out hit a huge Iron Head followed by taking a big sidekick one more iron head takes out the fairy in comes unicorn and thankfully we still outs spe so one more huge hit gets it down to half before psycho crits and retaliates I send out place here at the next take the psycho well and get the Revenge with a boosted Avalanche this leaves hatteri and the same play follows although we don't survive it so this leaves Chomp I go for the Dynamax steel Spike and upon retaliation we don't even need to rely on sturdy so this gives us the win now then where was I oh yes n sir let's kiss she starts with goer pod against Utah this may be a really bad idea but detect on first impression you ain't getting me there pal a boosting acrobatics does a bit as it goes for swords Dan one more puts it in the red as emergency exit kicks in from there seeing Falls then the bog is out for one more try but it goes for full restore great well the same play follows bye-bye BG but with pelan now in the field I switch out to player Raptor on Tailwind take the water p and a qu effective wild charge takes it out her barisa may get the first knock out with liquidation but utar is back out from the exact same you're joking oh my gosh that was extremely lucky any who detect acrobatics big Raptor big turtle moner thingy the result a Big Easy win I hope mom got the camera for that one next was the Ghost Whisperer aliser I don't have as much coverage but I still have a way around this battle dos Noir is against dle trus and I was trying to get it to disable ice Fang but it didn't so a bite does wonders yes this thing still doesn't know crunch I know Shanel comes out next though and a stab waterfall hurts in fact it was a oo pyge is next get flinched to the bite and a weak armor kicks in despite this he uses a full restore meaning we're clear for another knockout CA leally remains on a Slither and counters hard but we still go first and down the dead coral goes this remains Gengar who does outspeed and comfortably take the flamethrower as well as just surviving dragon breath before countering with dragon claw when seism to comes out I switch out to Utah again for a quick and easy energy ball which only leaves Charizard he obviously drag anaxes but I Fall to waste a turn and detect this however is quite bad so I let him take his victims Utah as well as Terry to a rockfall but with the gigantamax
