what's up everyone all right well guess what today is day one of my brand new small account challenge I press the reset button I did it I said I was gonna do it and I did it so today was day one of the new small count challenge last month I did a pretty crazy challenge starting with $500 I turned 500 dollars into over 53,000 dollars of profit in 17 days of trading I was on a hot streak and the market was hot and I capitalized on it now the fact is I got some feedback from some of you guys during the last small account challenge that you know it wasn't realistic for you I mean it was cool to watch but I was using an offshore broker and of course anyone can apply and open an account an offshore broker but the offshore brokers charge Commission and they charge monthly platform fees and so it kind of I can see how it sets you up so every day that you don't trade you're kind of losing money because of the platform fees and then every day you do trade you've got the Commission's and so some of you guys said you know Ross I'd really like to see you do a small account challenge with like you know a u.s. broker like etrade or TD Ameritrade and so as you wish I am doing it TD Ameritrade small count challenge and today was day 1 now on day 1 actually lost 29 bucks $29.90 so it's the first day first time I've started a small count challenge by losing money it's not exactly what I wanted to do but you know it's the way it sometimes goes I'm not gonna get bent out of shape over what I am gonna do is I'm gonna host a seminar this afternoon for my students my warrior pro students gonna be a live session I'll probably about 45 minutes to an hour long where I'm gonna break down this new small count challenge I'm gonna talk about the entries the exits how I'm gonna approach trading in a cash-only account with TD Ameritrade because this is very different I'm limited in the number of trades I can take each week I cannot trade nearly as aggressively as I did during my last small count challenge and this is kind of going to be a case study the the idea that I sort of have set is and you know you guys can watch both case studies you can watch the small account challenge that I did with the offshore broker where I turn 500 into 50,000 and then you can watch this challenge that I'm doing with TD Ameritrade and we'll compare and contrast the challenges what works better what's easier what's harder and how much money I make at the end of the day and then you guys do the cost-benefit analysis of making the decision that's right for you and it for you it's right to do a side hustle with TD Ameritrade no platform fees no Commission's maybe you only trade a couple times a week awesome do it grow that account if for you the right decision is to go all-in get set up with an offshore broker so you can day trade every single day as much as you want awesome more power to you I want to show you that you can grow an account either way so what I'm gonna do for you guys for today's recap we're gonna do this mentor session for my warrior pro students and I'm gonna give you guys a link to download it right here and you can live streaming all right you can watch it on your own time whenever you want so this mentor session is going to show the live trading recordings of today's trades it's gonna break down my settings my layout and all of the hotkeys that I've set up for this small account with TD Ameritrade and I'm gonna talk about the challenges of trading in a cash account some of the restrictions both on the emotional side and also on the the actual buying power of limitation side I'll talk about why I chose a cash account instead of a margin account all right you guys so today is day 1 of this new small count challenge down twenty nine dollars 19 cents but I'll be back at it and my goal is to grow this account as much as I can for the next you know 15 or so days this is a monthly challenge so I'm gonna do this for the rest of the month girlie account as much as I can and then start a new challenge next month you guys want to give me some input on the next challenge leave that down below in the comments as well alright so make sure you click that link watch the live session I think you'll really enjoy it and I will see you for the next episode of this small account challenge learn more about trading check out some of the links in my description and if you have questions ask them in the comments I personally respond to every question posted and don't forget to subscribe [Music]
