Okay. What's happening my friends? Welcome back to episode number 113. It is Friday, the final day of the week. We uh literally survived every day so far this week without any worries. All right, good job everyone this week. Great job. Very proud of you guys. Uh let's make it happen here. Today is the last day of the week. We have um obviously a couple things to go over at right now in terms of Goldie Goldie. We're seeing a lot of things happening right now.
We are pushing up higher higher than uh than expected. We're pulling back right now. And the question is, what will the 900 p.m. volume bring to the table today? What will the 900 p.m. volume bring to the table? That's what we all want to know. And is there one more trade for us in the books today, this week, so we can actually have that uh winning streak, the fiveday winning streak again from open to close, or do we have to be a little bit more careful today?
Let me know what you guys think here. In the meantime, if you guys could smash that like button, that would be appreciated, man. And then uh we're going to kick off the stream as always. Yeah, let's make it happen, my friends. Let's make it happen. Welcome back. Where's the chat? Heat. Heat. N. Let's move. Talk about it. Heat. Heat. I'm I death. We'll talk about it. Heat. Heat. I want I Yes sir. Welcome back. Last day of the week, my friends.
Final day of the week. Yes, sir. Hope you guys are all doing well here. Good to see you all. Uh we have to uh quickly check who were with us in the building today. I kind of forgot this. I'm so sorry for that. We always do our little introduction of course with the fam, the people who are coming every day, you know, supporting the channel and stuff, learning the volume profile strategy, executing trades with me or without me, but at least paying attention.
So, I love that. Uh, let's see what we have here so far. We have uh Laserton. Hey, Chris is in the building. Coach, best week for me so far. Dating reality. Let's move and talk about it. Yes, Sam the man. Let's go. Welcome back. Thank you, my friend. Um, I order also a grab. Yes, perfect. Me, too. Hey, Jack. Good morning, my friend. Georgina, good to see you. Nate, good to see you. Nate, >> is that going to be our new moderator?
That's the question. Is this going to be our first guy moderator? Let's see what happens. Anar dating reality, my friend. Welcome back, Sue, Salomon, Habib, Jasper, Lon, Michael. All right, the guys are back. Good to see you all. Uh, very good, very good, very good. Okay, very, very good stuff. It's uh, it's it's good to see you. It's good to see you guys. Okay. Uh, yeah, results this week uh, speak for themselves, right?
Uh, on the streams right here. Nothing really to complain about. Let's just take this week for example, right? Yeah. No losses. No losses. Just straight up, right? And last week, remember what kind of week we had? We had like in between week where limit orders did not get filled, where it was this, where it was that, like all that headache, right? All that stuff, all that nonsense, right? Well, guess what? If you just keep following up and you're continuing the process, right?
Then what happens? You start making money again. Okay? Now, that's how the game works. You just make your money. Just keep following up with the freaking process. You keep following up with your executions. Keep following up with your playbooks, your setups. And then you get a week like this again. That's how it works. Yes, that's how the training game works. You just keep following up with what you know, what you do best.
And uh yeah, let's see if today is one of those days. Again, uh we're not going to rush into any positions here. I do want to wait for the 9:00 p.m. volume to come in cuz you know what happens usually around the 9:00 p.m., right? We have seen it so far now already, right? Clearly, it has been um it has been working for the 9:00 p.m. volume to kick in so far. And it makes sense. I mean, also from an um strategic standpoint right now, it makes a lot more sense as well.
Right here, right? So, I think that uh overall is pretty pretty decent. Uh keep in mind we are in a range still. We're not really breaking out yet. Yes, we swapped the lows and we swapped the highs of the week, but we're still kind of in that area in that zone. And we're also trying to reclaim now what the previous weekly range. You see that? So, we draw the volume profile. We have something called the fixate volume profile.
We mark it out over the previous weekly. And if you look at it right now from this perspective, you can actually see that we are uh below again the very high very low s of the previous week. So we're constantly getting rejected there and every time when we do come into it or above it, we fall back into it. Okay, so that is a bit annoying the fact that we do that because every time when we get into it, we don't get accepted.
We fall back into the weekly profile, right? And we don't really follow through. Uh the goal is that we get to the point of control, right? that that we get to the point of control of the previous week which is the 43 4400 to the 4396 uh 4400. Yes. But right now we are seeing that low volume note here. Not sure if you guys can see that from the previous week. So if you mark out a low volume note that is unfortunately the resistance right there that we can't seem to break.
Okay. Right into the low volume note right there at the moment. Okay. But this is all that stuff from the perspective of the higher time frame. Now let's go to the lower time frame. Okay. At this moment in time though, what what I personally don't like is that we're getting rejected from the highs right there without following through. Right? We're getting rejected from that low volume note here. And we did break out earlier, which is usually good, right?
The fact that we break out. But what I then don't like again is that we broke out um before that 9:00 p.m. volume came in. Okay, before that 9:00 p.m. volume, we broke out to the upside here. So, usually at 9:00 p.m. we have seen it so far every time, right? That 9:00 p.m. volume comes in and boom, the actual volume, the actual movement happens. So this is something I'm watching right now very very carefully for today is are we able to continuously try to break higher again and try to get to the point of control and are we going to try to break that low five not or is this range just going to be a headache for us today going to be a rejection.
Okay, if you mark out the current daily profile, cuz this is what we always do, right? Right now, the volume profile is still lows. We're at the lows, sorry. And if you mark out the previous day, we have to mark out all these zones right now. Then, yeah, you can actually see that we're in between a lot of stuff here. So, the conclusion is right, and this is something that I've learned over time is sometimes I always try to find an answer for everything all the time, every day.
Okay. Now, we made money from Monday to Thursday. Every trade today, this week on the stream was a winning trade, let's say, right? Either TP1 and then break even or full TP. But at this moment in time, we can clearly see that the market is in between like two major zones right now. Okay, the previous weekly value area. So, value area of the previous week. Okay, right there. The value area of the previous week. So, let's mark this out.
Okay. So, you kind of have the perspective. Hopefully, it helps. But previous week and then the value area of the current week. Okay. Look at that. Do you see that we're in between the value area of the week? This is the current week. We have the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The value area has 70% of volume traded. And this is the previous week which we got rejected from. So we're now in between the current week or above the current weekly very high but below the previous weekly very low.
Okay. So this is where you have to be very careful. This is like where a lot of traders will get trapped in their position naturally. Okay. because a lot of people will really look for uh the conservations which is in my opinion something great if you can break the highs um or and other people will constantly look for um yeah the the yeah the the reversal. So they're trying to look and bet on the reversal now that the highs have been taken out right the highs have been swept here and now they're looking for the the push down again.
Okay. So you could see that inside of this zone right now is in most cases a little bit of a no trading zone. Okay, because you are not operating inside of a ver area and you're kind of in between these two areas here. This is the only day today of this whole week where we had this situation, okay, where we had no clear bias. We had a bias here on um yesterday we went short. Uh Thursday we went long, right? Wednesday we went long and I think also Monday we went long as well.
I think so. I think Monday we went long as well here. Uh today little bit more tricky. Okay, I just have to be honest. And the problem with a lot of traders is that they have to feel that they have to find an answer for everything all the time because if they don't find an answer, they feel that it's them. It's their problem. They don't just have enough knowledge or enough skill set or whatever the case may be. So that some moments in time, you know, the market is in an area where it doesn't necessarily gives you or will give you the answer of what you're looking for, okay?
Or what you want to do or what you want to see. So some people say it is we're bullish and then the volume comes in and then we break down. What would you do if you broke down? Would you then change your bias or would you still look for longs for example? Right? So overall what we're going to observe now and what I'm going to observe before I'm going to draw any conclusions is the 900 p.m. volume. Okay, the 900 p.m. volume to me is what I will be uh looking for.
Okay, what is the volume showing us? Uh where is price bringing us right now at this current moment and what is uh the best case scenario here. Keep in mind and I'm going to help you out a little bit here in terms of volume. Okay, so let's talk about volume. Let's talk about order flow because whenever I have that, you know, quote unquote doubt or whenever I see that the market is not giving me clarity, okay, I do the following and I look at the order flow on the daily time frame, right?
The higher time frame. We barely talk about this on the streams, but this is like the moment where it makes more sense. And what can we see? We can see that the daily candle, okay, of yesterday and the daily candle of before that most of that volume of that candle happened at the top. Okay, you can actually see this right there. So, what you can see now is the fact that most of the volume of the daily candle yesterday happened at the top.
So when the market pushed up higher, okay, yesterday, all day, there was actually less volume traded throughout the whole day than at the top together combined. Okay, that is interesting to think about. So why is that interesting to think about? It is interesting to think about because the fact that if the volume is there, okay, most of the volume has been uh traded there. Okay, but the candle closed below it right there.
Okay, then that means that these sellers have somewhat of more control because we're trading below the price of yesterday if that makes sense. Okay, so there was a lot more volume traded here in in perspective in rate respect than we have seen at the bottom. Okay, so what happens if this daily candle you think flips bearish? Do you think that is still bullish or do you think that is bearish? Let me know what you think when that happens.
Okay, when this daily candle flips bearish, do you think we're still bullish or do you think we're more bearish knowing that most of the volume selling volume? Okay. Was traded at the top and as well a lot of buyers also buyers step in at the top as well here. Most of the buyers try to continue to trade the continuation. Right? So a daily candle flipping bearish is in most cases also in this in this especially case more bearish.
Okay. And that has to do with the volume that has been traded in the two days beforehand. Okay. You can see that right there and you can see that right there. That means that will pretty much turn that into major resistance. We reverse and we came up here. Also the fact that the candle opened bullish today all right before the major volume which is in 5 minutes most of the volume will actually come in right now. Okay.
So overall I'm very careful with longs. That's that's the conclusion what I'm trying to tell you guys right now at this moment in time. I'm extremely care careful with longs right now. I know there's just a lot of selling happening around the top here. Okay. And we just need one confirmation to remain bullish again. Either we close above this for next week and we're going to be probably bullish the next week for a longer period of time.
All right. Or we indeed got rejected here and then it's still interesting to look for sales from in my opinion. Okay. And I take this extremely serious looking at what we are seeing uh right now according to um to that information here. Okay. So let's see what happens. You know, you never know when the actual volume kicks in. I'm going to be very um you know aware of what I'm looking for right now in terms of the week.
Okay. Um yeah, it's a bit of an um a bit of a tricky tricky one today. Okay. We have to just uh be upfront with that here. But that's where order flow comes in and gives us sometimes the clarity that we need here. So very curious to look at what we are uh what we're doing here. Okay. So overall we have around uh seven playbooks that we use right we have been trading now I think this week predominantly the I think we have only been trading the RA manipulation rate this whole week or what I don't know let me know guys what have we been doing I think so right have you been trading that one setup the whole week no I or C or No, I think it was the range manipulation only.
Yeah, I think that's the only one we have traded so far. I'm not sure. Anyways, we'll have to go um we'll have to go back and look at all the trades that we have done this week so far and see which one actually uh was the most. But I think it was range manipulation for sure. Many of them were the range manipulation trades because we, you know, manipulated highs and then manipulated the lows of the V area and then came back into it.
So it makes sense. It makes sense. It makes sense. Okay. Let's see what the volume is trying to tell us here. Yes, the 900 p.m. volume. It's in 3 minutes or 2 minutes. Yeah, I think all the trades have been the range manipulation setup. I think so too. Yeah, well, we can go over it later on in a second uh to confirm that. But I actually think it was all the range manipulation setups here. Breaking some sort of value area and then reclaiming it and then using opponent control.
Very similar setups. Really, really similar. Yes, absolutely. Okay, let's see. Well, it makes sense, right? So, if you understand why the the point of control of today is at the top and not at the bottom, that's just literally what we talked about in the order flow. You can actually confirm that as well, right? By looking at this candle right there, right? You can actually see that most of the volume has been traded at at the top.
Right now we're trading below that. If we can break it, okay, if we can break that, maybe there is room for a continuation long, right? That that could be something to look at. But we have to manage it tight again because of the fact that we will be tapping into that low note. Uh at the same time though, it is an opportunity we could look for if we break that red line. Okay, that's the point of control of the previous uh day.
Uh for cells, yeah, we have to really break back inside of the current weekly uh range right below it. And but then you're going to tap into those gaps. Can be you're going to be a bit tighter as well here. Yeah. Let's see if we have a trade today, right? Let's actually figure it out and see if you have a trade today. If not, you guys know it very very soon already. Within the next 20 minutes, 30 minutes really. you will see it very quickly, especially when the volume kicks in.
So, we'll not keep the stream really long today if that's the case. No complaining because of the fact that we've been, you know, we had a really profitable week so far together. All right, 900 p.m. V, baby. Are we allowed to print your book? Yes, it's free. Everything is free. Completely free of charge. You don't you can do whatever you want with it. Whatever you want with it. We indeed have we call the LTA concepts trading warm map, right?
It is a book for you that is written to help you with your volume profile analysis. Okay. give you the insights in what it is, why we use it and how we have been so um yeah profitable with it. Right. So that is something that we can we can look at and you can do whatever you want with it. Yes. Anything. All right. Yeah. So we're tapping into this right now. We did open again. um with some bullish momentum currently in that range.
Let me observe the lower time frame right now. I think it's very important to pay attention to what happens here because we are in a CC range, right? We are in a range breakout retest. So, we are seeing this right now at the moment. We know what's happening on the higher time frame. dollar is flat. Yeah, dollar is completely flat. True. You are you are correct about that. Dollar is flat and oil is dropping like a tank.
Like a bomb today. An absolute bomb. Have you guys seen oil today? Look at that. Look at that gap we've created today here. Look at that freaking gap on oil, right? That's a monstrous gap right there. That's a big one. Uh no surprise because we reacted for monthly supply. Monthly supply. Higher time for resistance. Could be the It could be the contract roll over. Is that today? It might be. It might be. It might be. Okay, let's see.
Uh, we're above the VWAP of the session, of course, because we're more bullish still right off today since the open. So, it makes sense. Okay. Well, let's see what happens here. I'm actually kind of curious to what kind of the what kind of trades while we're waiting uh were actually taken on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. if it was all the range manipulation trades. I think it was. Honestly, I think it was, which is crazy, but also it makes sense because we were kind of in a ranging market, right?
The whole week, Wednesday, we broke out, but then we came back again with the FOMC. So, I think it makes sense here. So, all right, that was one trade. Yeah, that was a range manipulation for sure. This was Monday. Monday, we broke down. We broke some value area and we broke back above the the the point of control on the VWAP and we went long, right? So, Monday was for sure range manipulation. Okay, check 100%. Tuesday, uh, yes, bro.
Same thing. Same thing. Range manipulation 100%. Okay, we saw the breakout, the retest, the push up higher again. VWAP point of control. We manipulated below the current weekly VIA area, I think of yeah, Monday and Tuesday or the the previous daily V area and we broke above the VWAP and control. Yeah, range manipulation setup. You guys see that again? Second one. Then Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday. Um, yeah, range places setup.
Yeah, range play setup. We broke out before tapped into the previous day very low, right? We broke above it and I think we got triggered into our buy limit later on and then price went up eventually. Yeah, it went down. We had some draw down on a Wednesday but obviously we had to face that because it made like a huge move later on. Yeah. So K was on a Wednesday range manipulation and yesterday range manipulation. I can't make it up.
Right. So it's literally every single day this week we had the same setup. Yeah. It can happen. It can happen. Okay, it was indeed the same setup. It was this setup right here, a four out of five star rating uh this week. It had a 100% accuracy and it did what it had to do. Yeah, it did what it had to do this week. That's what happens when you are in a ranging market. So, the lesson is um adapt to the current condition. adapt to the market condition at any moment in time.
So if the market condition is screaming a range, we look for the range. Yeah, manipulation. That is pretty much where I think the the money is at for gold when we see things like that. And uh yeah, it's the same setup this week for sure. Uh, was there a setup? Yeah, there was actually a setup earlier. Well, that was right at the open here. Right at 7, I think 7:00 a.m. 700 p.m., sorry. Into a low volume note here. It is true.
We found that support into that low five note at the Sunday open as well. So, this is more of a low volume note pullback setup. We have to be undervalued on the five at least. Yeah, we came out of an undervalued base. Yeah. Okay. Uh, did we miss out on a trade? Oh, you are correct. You are correct. You are correct. Yesterday was not a range manipulation trade. You are you are correct. Yes. True. That is true. Yesterday we had not range manipulation because it never happened.
That is correct. It never happened. It never triggered us into an entry. We had of course our um yeah swing port setup. We had a counter trend trade setup. You are right. You are right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So it was four it was three range manipulation trades and one um swing PC pullback or low final pullback uh setup counter trend true. Yeah. Okay. Now let's see if we in the next 20 minutes can do something like break out or or whatever the case may be.
Break above the point of control of the previous day which is also of course the range. Then you create some sort of um yeah CV play, right? Where you create pretty much the CMD the the accumulation manipulation distribution or the the consolidation manipulation expansion whatever you want to call it. the range breakout low volume note continuing the trend right now of the day of the previous day breaking above the value area of the range and then maybe look for the continuation long that would then give us the the confidence for the for the breakout above that high above those sellers but it has to be done with volume it has to be done with volume it can be a slow grind it has to be done with volume Okay, volume beats volume.
More volume beats less volume. So you want to see a breakout with power volume that would be good. Otherwise, it is just uh resistance and it could get rejected here and uh we'll start ranging for the rest of the session today. restart ranging for the rest of the session. Right. It could be the CC there now potentially depending on how we close here. Should the volume analysis be done on the gold chart or the GC feature where the institutional orders are executed?
Uh that's a question I get all the time and um you know I've been using Awanda for so long and uh it's one of the largest brokers out there. there's a lot of concentrated volume so that it's good enough. However, uh if I would use it independently, we do have the order flow where we look at the futures data as well. But we just look at it from a different lens pretty much, right? When it comes down to the volume profile, I have been using this one for a long period of time has been working incredible for me personally.
And when I say for a long period of time, years I've been using it right now and I've been kind of using it in conjunction with the GC chart as well, right? The combination of both I have been kind of using it for, right? But you can see it's very similar now. Also, it is aligned fully. This is the future chart and this is the spot chart. The profiles are pretty much identical. Okay, we bounce from a low volume note and you can see that we're also getting rejected from one as well as right there.
So, it's pretty much the same right now at the moment. Okay, it is pretty much the same thing currently. Yeah, it's very easy to assume that we're bullish today, right? because of what's what has been happening yesterday and now we're pulling back and now we can push up higher but um a lot more volume you can actually see it from whole the the whole yesterday as well here look at the volume profile you can actually see it most of the volume was traded here you see that and we're trading below that so we still have a lot of work to do if we want to continue to break here and break out here um there is a reason why buyers stepped in here, right?
But for example, let's actually look that look at the um the market from yesterday. Let's go to that point and let's go to the hourly. Now, you can actually see that predominantly um a lot of sellers came in. Okay, a lot more sellers than buyers actually in general. That is true. But at the top of those candles, most of the buying actually came in. So, it's actually a lot of buyers that stepped into to continue to break out to continue to go long here in the New York session and they got uh not rewarded for their actions, their follow through.
So, you can actually see now that that is causing some problems here for gold. You see that that amount of volume is causing the rejection here and that is what we're kind of seeing happening in real time. Okay. So that is a little bit of an an issue for gold now. The fact that gold can't break that amount of volume because u like I said before volume needs to break volume right and in this case most of the volume of yesterday was at the top of the day previous day.
We're trading below that. So trying to go long right now is a uh is in most cases statistically quote unquote in retrospect a mistake, right? Because the fact that we're getting rejected and we don't have the firepower to continue to to that wall that that selling wall. Okay, we're not able to break it at the moment. So that's why we were not so excited about lying today, right? At least not yet because we have not seen the volume coming in to really break through that through that wall.
But at the same time, if you look here at the bottom, where did we just bounce from? Well, it makes sense that we bounce from here. Okay, it is that low volume note. It is the Sunday open. we had that retracement. Okay. So, that's why I'm saying it's just going to be a tight either a tight range today where we will not break the highs here and but we will get supported at the lows and we're just going to do something like this.
Okay? And it could be because it's Friday. We had a whole week ahead of us already. Yeah. Could we get into a trailer reso? I mean there's one thing that could be done and that is to I mean it's a bit tricky because you're a little above the Viva here but that is um that around this area there are more shorts and then if you get invalidated you can turn you can exit your short and then flip it into a buy as they look for the contation.
But like I say, you need volume. Okay, you need volume for that. And we're still above the VWAP 2 right now. It's just a very tight range today. That's it. Yeah. Mh. Now, what happened with that 1K account? A big fan of that 1K account. What is the status of it? uh that 1k count I'm just looking at for you right now at the moment we had let's see yeah 31st of August indeed 1k 1.4k 4K deposit 17 of September balance 15,431 that is uh 14,000 oh 190 uh profit right?
Yes. So when people say, "Oh, you can make money from a small account." That's just like that is not not true. That is not true. You absolutely can. Uh I love those side hustles. Yeah, I love those side hustles. Yes. Yeah. So 1,393 uh balance is now 15,431 and we deposited that at the 31st of August. So yeah, but keep in mind it was aggressive, right? So I'm not not going to sit here and play the oh conservative game.
No, it was aggressive. Was pretty aggressive overall. At the same time, our streaming account is sitting at 26K, which is also high, by the It's a new high for sure. 26.6. So almost 27,000. Uh it it is growing a bit slower. Okay. But of course, we're less crazy in terms of risk, but it's okay. We're at the highs. Yeah, we are at new highs on the account. And it just proves that consistency wins over time. And that when we have a week where our limit orders don't get filled and we miss out on certain trades or whatever the case may be that if you just keep following up with your process that money will come and things will come over time.
It will follow up. She just just keeping it up. But of course that is a bit more conservative because we have to uh we can be over the top here. Okay, that's what I mean with the VWAP, my friends. That's what I mean with the VWAP. That's where we reacted from. So that's why I'm saying, >> yeah, the VWAP on the Trading View chart is slightly off. We actually put it at high. And if you really want to use it, you put it at a high right now.
But uh yeah, now we're in between resistance here. Major V trade at the top and we bounce from the VWAP right now. So we're we're extremely compressed here. It's just if even I wished I could do something, there's nothing really that I could do here at the moment. So, let's see if we can break out. >> Hi. How are you? Good. All right, welcome. Good to see you. Yeah, sunshine. Do you actually trade take positions? Uh, yeah, every day if it makes sense though, right?
Like I said before, we follow our setups, right? So, we have our setup. We have our playbook right here. These are our seven setups. And even with all the seven playbooks, seven setups and rules and everything, sometimes the market does not give us what we want. And we have to accept that, right? Even with that in mind, still facing resistance at the same time. It's very tight. Very tight today. Bounces from the Viva but getting rejected at the low five note.
The low five note of the previous day by the way. right there. You can see that I ah thank you so much. Appreciate it. >> How are you today? >> Yeah, good car. It's pretty today a lot. I don't know. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. Let's see. >> Yeah. >> If you want, you can see maybe upstairs. >> Yeah. I think it's pretty clean already. >> Yeah. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. I think that's it. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Sure. Thank you. was that uh that's my favorite uh my favorite uh my favorite hostess, my favorite cleaner.
She's the best. Okay. Ah, it's trying to break it. Have you ever used Renko for trading? No, I've never used the Reno charts. I know about it. I do know about it. I have never used it though. Nope. Never used it. So, what I'm going to do, I'm going to give it around like 10 more minutes cuz I don't want to hold up your day. If I don't see a setup today, I'm going to cut the stream earlier. Why would I yap for another two hours if I don't see anything in particular today?
Right. it doesn't make much sense. Uh I think that this week was a was a week full of lessons. Lessons where we were um where we followed all our rules. Okay. One mistake I made was on a FOMC uh on a Thursday was pre FOMC sorry Wednesday where I decided No, was it Wednesday or Thursday? Um I think Thursday. Yeah. No, that was yesterday. Sorry, I'm so confused with the the days right now. Um, it could have also been No, it was definitely Wednesday where I decided to close the trade in full because I had a bias in mind in my head.
I had a bias that the FOMC, right, would would be a ranging market. So, I had in my mind, oh, it's going to be the FOMC today. So, let me take full profit instead of just putting my stop loss on break even TP1 like the rules, right? The rules are or were TP1 stop loss on break even and then let the trade run until full TP at the failure high, which is still, you know, it's not the big move, right? But it was still like at that area.
And I said, "Oh no, because the FOMC it's ranging today. Price action is unstable. So let me just take profits in full." That was a mistake. That was one mistake I made this week. I should have waited and just stick with the process regardless of the market because you never know. You never know what happens, right? And just keep doing it. to stop loss and break even TP1 and if price reaches full TP that would have been a game changer right there.
So that was indeed that the only thing that I think this week is something that I uh I learned don't assume things again don't fall for that we're probably going to do this or that in terms of FOMC and news because it just can just freaking rip right before it. Yeah. Did we make money? Yes. Couldn't we make more money on a Wednesday? Yeah, we could have made more money or I could have made more money on a Wednesday by just, you know, doing that.
For example, Why did you take yesterday's trade in the counter trend? That that's a good uh question. Okay. Uh yesterday's trade was for this reason. We took a short from here. from the top to the bottom. We marked out the volume profile and we tapped into a key level which was the point of control. Look at that rejection right there of the swing. All right, this was the FOMC drop right FOMC sell off. We had the pullback.
We did wanted to look for sells earlier but it never came. So price came eventually tapped into this level and then we decided to go short with a confirmation here. So point of interest was swing point of control overvaluation against the dollar on the 15minut. And what did we do? We decided to go uh short because of the fact that we saw a lot of buyers stepping in right here and failing. You see that all those buyers were failing.
We had all that green at the top. Okay. And the candle closing bearish. So that means there is a lot of people that are pressing market buy aggressively market buy, right? Where their buy stops were getting activated but the candle itself flipped bearish. So there were more passive sellers in the market. More people were um absorbing those buyers, okay, than there were actual buyers. So therefore buyers got stuck, got trapped and the moment we closed below it, we decided to go short right there and we targeted the VWAP pretty much, right?
So that was a trade from yesterday. That was a was a good trade. I mean, that was a $1,600 trade. So that was a good trade in a counter trend scenario that is considered good definitely. Okay. All right. What what I do like is that we're we're trying to close u the VWAP is creeping up right now and it could be that we will close it soon. below. And that could give us maybe a quick sculp right here back down again to the 40s cuz like I said before, we can't seem to break that resistance, right?
It's really big. It's really strong. Can't seem to break it. And we don't have enough volume to break it, it seems like. And yeah, this is why we're getting rejected here, guys. We talked about it at the beginning of the stream. We said, "Hey, it's going to be tough to break this, right, especially in Asia." And this is what's happening right there. So, that's why I asked you guys the question, if you see that volume being traded there at the top, and if the candle breaks and flips bearish, do you think it's more bullish then or more bearish?
Well, there we go. Let's see if it can close below the VWAP, though. >> If it tanks, it tanks. It's okay. >> But I would love to see a closure below it. Too many fake outs around there. >> Same thing with Barus though. Barus are failing again. Was a nasty candle by the way cuz this candle close green and then next candle just flips. Good that we didn't go long, right? Like I said before, going to be a tough one. A tough cookie to crack the high five at the top right there. >> It's like a P shape right there.
Right. So, we need to break above that. for longs >> or you need to get supported inside this area or inside this area again. Such a tight range though today. Wow. Yeah, it's no um I like I overall like do like the range itself. I think it's I think it makes sense why we're getting rejected here. The fifth five minute has closed the 50 minute not yet. I do think that we have more of a ranging condition though personally because also the current week is going to give us a lot of support now because we're above it.
We're above the value area of this week. You see these huge gaps here? These are all the low volume notes right there. Right there. You can look at these gaps right there. We talked about how important these low volume notes are. So even right now when price does pull back, you're going to run into support there. You're going to run into support there. It's going to be >> going to be tough >> to break in a good way. So there these are all long opportunities.
Every time you got you get lower and you see um a conviction then these are all long opportunities. Why do we wait for the 50-minute closure? Because um if a candle like that, right, like the 15 minute for example, just suddenly drops out of nowhere, like it just opens and it just drops, then you really want to wait for the closure because the last thing that you want is to come down and flip bullish in the last minutes.
And if price decides to come down, then I think we'll we'll just we'll just take that. We'll just take it. I just want to dance all night. I just want to dance. All right. 6 minutes for that 15. Even if he would enter, right? Even if then where does the stop loss has to be the stop loss has to be above the highs the wick. What could be the target? The target could be then um the low volume note again the same low volume note.
I mean does it make sense? Does it really make sense today? Yeah, it totally depends where we close. When do you take a trade? How do you take a trade? Um, so my suggestion is if you're new to this channel, watch my previous streams. I think that's the best way to to explain it. just watch it. I think in the comment section someone posted like trade taken and then you can click on that and then you can see when I take it and how it looks like so you're not uh kind of unaware of it, right?
So you can kind of see why and how it works. What I changed this week though is very nice is the trading view terminal. I'm actually very happy with that. That's actually very cool. Seems like Forex is your bread and butter. Do you ever trade the NQ? No, predominantly. I have been um mainly focused on gold right now on purpose. really trying to master Goldie because I know the good times will come and if I can can make money in these times.
Okay, I can I can make money in these conditions then I can make money in any condition. That's the conclusion I drew for myself. So I want to I wanted to master this this asset and I love gold. I love gold. I love everything about it. Okay, this is like Okay, that's the wick of the 15 there. The bottom wick of the 15 there. Okay, let's see if the riskreward makes sense. It will be very tight though. Very very tight. >> Man, that's can't believe we have only like 100 pip range to deal with now. 200 pips in total, but like 100 pips for our entry.
It's very small. Yeah, I would not be surprised if then go for the lows again. Of course, tap it to the low low V note again. Tap it to the open that is at 38.79. Am I willing to do that? Yeah. Okay, I'm willing to um to try if we can close in 2 minutes around there and we pull back. I set the limit order, see if it gets there, and just simply put the stop loss above the highs there, above those trap buyers at the top.
And that's it. Target the Sunday open. If it can get filled, great. If not, it's okay. It's fine. But that is indeed the level Why why that uh limit order? Because that's exactly where those sellers are taking control where the most volume of those sellers are are getting transacted. You can see that this is already sellers are taking control right now after the buyers are stuck and we close them below the VWAP as well which is good.
Ah, opponent controls there too still. How far would that be? >> 44. >> Yeah. Let's see what happens, my friends. Let's see what happens. Maybe not even get filled here. Maybe we're not even going to get filled. I'm very happy that we didn't buy. But right guys, um it was it was pretty obvious that that was not the right decision. We just didn't have like a selling confirmation from the top because of this candle right here.
It just dropped immediately. We had that green candle. We saw the buyer stepping in or getting trapped. But we had that huge candle out of nowhere, which is actually good for many reasons. uh confirming that we were correct about not going long because of this big block right there that we talked about in the order flow when things are not clear. That helps me out so much knowing what not to do and I'm very happy that we did not went long here.
So that was very good. Um this is where sellers took really control though. You can see this right now on the 15 minute that is this box. I'm willing to see if you could if you could take it back to the Sunday open. Okay, I'm willing to see that stop loss on break even at the point of control if we pull back right now. So, we have to pull back right now. We can't be um yeah, we have to pull back right now. We can't tap into the point of control and then bounce.
We need to we need to pull back right now. 0.3 lots. How's that possible? We're not We're not We're not babies. Boom. My partner control is at 4344. Yeah. Mhm. My two. We are aware of it. We have it marked out right here. That's what I'm saying. We can't tap into it. Don't want to tap into that. And and price has to be managed there, by the way. Price has to be managed there. It's just um definite long buys for sure until we break out of the previous daily PC. until we break above this clean area.
Then I'm then I'll be willing to look for longs again, I guess, cuz then we have so much accumulation of shorts here. If we break back above them, I'm definitely willing to look for longs. Or if we go lower and we actually decide to bounce, I'm willing to look for longs as well. This is the only short scenario I can see getting down there, but it's it's not the cleanest setup by my my fans. It is not the cleanest in in terms of confirmation.
What would have been fantastic was if the and I'm going to confirm it right now with the with with futures where the point of control is at and it's below. Okay. Yeah. So most of the volume has still been traded at the bottom and not at the top. So if the volume has shifted higher, so if the volume profile of the point of control was shifted to the top and would have broken it, I think it was very clean cells honestly yeah I think it was very clean cells but because we are not we're kind of like the the most of the volume is still transacted inside of that range today.
We're going to short here. Imagine we're going to short here and then we're going to look for immediate support right there. So, we pretty much have no wiggle room to manage the trade properly. So, yeah, unfortunately that is the only thing holding us back from taking that setup right now which would have made sense I think if the point of control would have been uh would have swept or would have moved higher. Okay. Then we just had like some sort of manipulation play where we had the opposite actually of what we actually took this whole week every day.
Three days out of the four trades that we took. We had three manipulation trades like that where where the point of control did that actually right where it actually moved higher and then it broke down. In this case, we did not we did not do that. And we are uh we still seeing the product control at the bottom. Also futures as well for extra confirmation. So I love the CC range that we saw here, but it was just not the the cleanest one.
So I think that um it's going to leave it for today. I think I'm not going to trade today, man. Yeah. In comparison to all the other days that we had this week, we had the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, all bangers. Every trade played out here today. I think the range is number one too tight. There are too many uh conflicting signals in terms of the intraday. All right, the intraday could still be bullish if we pull back.
We just continue to go pull back and continue to go higher. Later on throughout the day, we can also break up eventually and push up higher. I understand why we get rejected here though, but it doesn't necessarily mean that there's always a setup that aligns with that as well. That makes sense. So, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I think that it's completely fair. I think we've done a really good job this week, my friends. Okay, I really think we've done an amazing job together.
I think that we followed our processes perfectly. And I think that today is a day where I want to or this session, this session specifically is where I want to protect my capital because the range is just too tight. It's too tight and there are conflicting signals. And what are those conflicting signals for the people that didn't tune in immediately? This is the reason why why people are going to have a why it looks like uh we're struggling because we have the volume prof.
Okay. Right there. All right. So, we have the value area of the current week. So, that starts at 4333 and it goes down to 4262. That is already a breakout. So we're already breaking above the value area of the week which is actually more bullish because you break above it. Okay. Then at the same time we are getting rejected from the value area of the previous week. You see that? And that leaves us with a gap inside. You see that right there?
Now that is that small tight range that we're seeing here. So what what's happening right now on gold is gold is heavily compressing. Okay, gold is getting ready for a big for a big move, a big breakout, a big uh something bigger. It's just accumulating a lot of sellers, buyers, sellers, buyers now to make a bigger move later on. And it could be possibly London or the New York session at the end of this week or um you know maybe even a Monday.
But that means that pretty much we will find resistance there. Okay. And support there. All right. So we're kind of in between all of those areas here. So we understood that according to yesterday's volume, right? Most of the volume was transacted at the top. So, we knew, okay, well, if that's the case, then we should not be looking to long right now because it just doesn't make much sense because the most volume has been transacted at the top and not at the bottom, right?
The P shape right there. Okay, most of the volume was at the top. We're trading below it. So, that will be resistance. Okay, but you know, we needed something like a closure below the VWAP. And what happened was the moment the candle closed below the VWAP, we already came down aggressively too far and it already practically came back to the to our area of support here uh as well. If however, okay, we go to the current open which happened at 6:00 p.m. today and we go from the open to the current price, you can actually see the volume profile is showing us that the point of control of today is right here.
You see that it is actually at the bottom right there. Okay. If this had moved up, so let's say when we were there consolidating and this have moved up and we would break it, we would have been going short aggressively and target the lows. That would have been a setup. Yeah. Immediately. So that would have been uh the closure the wick and we would have probably taken a short right at this area right there and targeted the lows of the day.
Okay, stop loss there, target there. Border control did not do that. So the volume is still uh at the bottom pretty much. So that didn't didn't give us a clean setup which is still actually the range manipulation setup that we have been trading the whole week actually. pretty much it's still pretty much the range yeah manipulation trade right it's the same type of setup that we have been that we have been seeing but then from the other direction then from like a short perspective right there okay so I think um for me personally I'm not going to risk my capital my life capital my real money my own money from my own pockets uh on this current market in this session without the proper context of the point of control shifting and good confirmation right there.
Definitely avoided us taking stupid long trades at the top which was totally right to do. Not going long today in this session um since we started the stream makes total sense but also the shorts didn't really give us the confirmation that we needed to. So yeah man uh do a giveaway of the indicator. Okay, we can do that. I do agree with that actually. believe we haven't done that in like two weeks. So, we can actually do that.
We have been using this for for a while. Yeah, it's true. It is true. It is a good point you are making actually. Um yeah, we can do that. We can do that. We can do some some giveaway here. We have a tool created called the stealthation index. It's uh measuring gold against the dollar or oil. If you want to put oil, you can also put oil. Boom. And it looks at the extremes. So we call that the ATR of both pairs or instruments.
Okay? Which then measures the average movement of a dollar and the average movement of a goal. And then it has a band. We create kind of like a a band out of that. And it reaches those extreme levels. And those extremes can be very helpful. Okay? we know when to look for pullbacks, when not to trade, etc. And it only works for certain setups. It doesn't work for every setup. So, it depends on the context of the setup.
But I will add a couple of you guys in it today. Let's do that then. All right. Let's make that happen. Boom. Boom. Uh what you need to do is you just need to uh like this uh like this video or like the streams. If you guys enjoyed the analysis this whole week, uh, all the trading we've done, we've done a lot of trading this week and we should have all made a bunch of money this week. So, you need to smash up the like button and give me and share me your username.
Okay, I'll add I'll add a couple of guys at the beginning. Unlucky 122. What a what a perfect name for that. You're not unlucky today, though. Haha. Okay. One. Wiener dog 8080. Okay. Number two. Okay. Then we have Renia 99. Always active. Rea, I saw you. Thank you for your support by the way. Done. Uh, stars extreme. There we go. Do I recognize certain people? Yes, I do. I do. I do. I do. I do. Okay. Yeah, let's talk.
Let's add Nate. Okay. Yeah, we'll go over the valation, etc. Why this works, etc. KDK. Okay, one more. I think we have added a bunch of them. KDK traits. Yes sir. Anyone else? Anyone else? Anyone else? Let me see. Let me see. Let me see. All right, DAX TXR888. All right. Okay, guys. Cool, man. Yeah, I'm going to come back Monday again. We're going to come back strong here. Good job this week here. We've done uh we've done we've done great.
You guys have done all fantastic as well here communicationwise in the chat. We have the best chat guaranteed. Okay, proud of you guys. Keep it up, okay? Keep up the good work and make sure that you just uh you know the the biggest lesson I think for myself always is that if I don't follow that process over and over again and I'm not committed and I'm not disciplined enough, I'll up. I'll lose money. If I'm disciplined, I stick to the process and I stick to it even after a week where my limit orders don't get filled, where I don't get in a certain trade for some reason.
But if I just keep my mind cool and I just do what I do best and use my playbook setups that I have created for myself, right, then I will make money, guaranteed. And I've been doing this for so long now that I'm so confident that that's just the reality that that's what I need to do. Just always stick to your process. Don't make these stupid mistakes. That's all you need to do in trading. Right? Most of you guys are not bad traders at all.
Guarantee you. Okay? It's not even uh that you are a bad trader because you have probably winning periods where you're winning winning winning, but then you up. Then you have that big loss, that one big massive loss that run ruins everything. That is something that we're trying to avoid. Okay, if you can avoid that, then you're heading in the right direction. Okay, then you're heading to the right direction. That's going to already make a big big difference.
Okay, avoid these mess ups, these big big mistakes. So, I'm saying you guys are not bad traders at all. It's just about not up. That's the conclusion. And having a system, having a playbook, having a process. Understand your setups, right? Understand them well. And if you don't understand them well, then do something about it to make it to make it work well. Okay. Uh going to see you Monday, man. Monday I'm going to be back.
Um yeah, same old. We're going to do the whole week of streaming again. Like this week, the whole week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Today is not a long stream, of course, because I'm not going to yap for another hour hoping for something. We saw what we could have done, what we didn't decided to do. And I think we made a good decision, especially in this current uh in this current state. Let let Asia do its thing.
Let's see if London or New York can actually bring in some more volume and actually make a difference. But Asia is a bit of a mess here. And we knew that we shouldn't go long, which was the right decision to do so. Longs were out of the window, at least throughout the stream, definitely. Okay. Uh, ML, have an amazing week, man. I'm really looking forward to share some videos with you guys in my Telegram group. I'm going to take my weekend for this now to take full advantage of that and actually post some content inside of my free Telegram.
So, if you want to join that, you can join by the link in description. If you want to get my book for free to learn about the volume profile to get familiar with the basics, the foundation, right? Then download my book as well for free and yeah, come to the live streams for free. Okay, I'm working on a goal. on working on a target and that is building up um that account that we've been talking about. Okay, much love.
Have an amazing rest of your week here and um don't mess up final day of the of the week if you made money. Okay, just keep keep your money in your pockets. Cool. See you later, man. Hey, hey, hey. Heat.
