Literally, anybody could make this video. You can edit this yourself. You can hire out an editor. He's not really editing them. Again, either it is

will make. So, there's generally a four-step method that will work for this strategy. Number one is strategic YouTube content. And do not post short-form videos. Other creators might tell you to do that, but if your goal is to make money and especially like evergreen income, don't start with that, please. I've seen it

Look at this. I've been in here for like 4 months. This is my background. It's a pair of sandals, a vacuum, and a picture that I haven't put up yet. I also have this weeks of my life. I haven't even filled this out. I feel like it is time for me to let go. I've been doing YouTube for six something years. And on my main channel, which has over 600,000 subscribers, I've only missed like one week. And I did that on purpose to practice missing a week. And on my main channel, for every single week, I have uploaded one video for years now. And I feel like I put so

And I feel like I put so much pressure on every video to do well. And and I love making these. I love the art. I love expressing myself. I love talking about topics that I'm interested in. Like on this channel, I talk about my obsession with with YouTube and growth and systems and uh and making money on YouTube, which is fun. Like that's my hobby, literally.
And then in my other channel, I get to talk about the finance and the the living and my lifestyle and things that I'm interested in. But there's this trap that I see so many creators get into. And I realized recently that I was in this myself of like this pressure to always have these perfect videos that are all thought out. And I was like, I know because I I teach how to grow on YouTube and make money that the best chance a video has is to have a proven concept, proven thumbnails.
Everything has to be thought out and perfect in these hooks that grab people's attention. Like everything has to be so thought out and I put so much pressure on each one. I'm like, you know, at this point I don't think I want to optimize everything for doing the best. Like I don't need to get a lot of views. I don't need to make the most money possible. I miss some of the the fun and the low pressure of YouTube, especially when I was getting started.
So I realized that I'm going to try something a little new on this channel. At least I I hope I try it. And that is to make worse videos. really like I'm just going to talk and be honest. I'm going to share my thoughts. If I have an idea for a video, I'm going to sit down and shoot it. I don't have a script right now, but I want to try just sharing things that I find valuable. Like I've spent the last four or five months working on a project, starting a software business.
I haven't told anybody about I haven't made any videos about it and never talked about it and I'm like so obsessed and interested in it that like maybe it wouldn't be optimal for a YouTube video, but like I think it's really cool and I feel like I would be nice to actually like talk about everything that I'm interested in even if it's not optimized. So, so hopefully for the next couple weeks I'm going to try posting a lot more videos that are a lot more raw, a lot more real.
I know that this is like a proven strategy. I actually met somebody who posts seven times a week for like 4 years, making six figures a month in AdSense and zero edits, not even thumbnails. Like kind of crazy. I don't know if I'll get to that level. But YouTube doesn't always have to look perfect. It doesn't always have to be super engineered. What matters is making videos, making a lot of videos, making better videos, consistently growing and getting a little bit better, understanding your craft, and you can have success different ways.
Just cuz my main channel is these super polished videos that look like movies, doesn't mean all of my channels have to be that way. It doesn't mean I need to put so much stress on myself. So, I'm really trying to let go of perfection this year. I'm really trying to let go of putting pressure on myself, trying to optimize everything for for views and money. Those are great things. they've really improved my life. But I also want to build connection with you.
Like I want to hear the comments, the struggles you're going through. I want to share my struggles that I'm going through. You know, connect with a lot more creators who are obsessed about the same things I'm obsessed about, who are also building, who are also think it's fun to start businesses and to work on projects and stuff. And so that's what I'm doing. I'm even trying to do like more live calls. I'm doing work with me and stuff like that, which has been really fun just to have other creators. we're all making videos at the same time or they're working on our laptops at the same time.
It's really cool. So, literally talking about not trying to make more money, but I do want to connect with some of you. So, if you join my software, Streamline Studios, which is $1,600 worth of value for only $97. I'm also doing work with messes like once a month, once every other week, something like that, where we're just going to hang out, talk, chat. If you use our software, it's totally free to join. We all just hop on a Zoom call together and work.
I make a video live, script it, shoot it, whatever. So, if it's something you want to do, you can join. There's free trial and stuff. pretty sick software. It's actually uh doubled my business and made everything way easier. So, I'm really proud of this and uh maybe I'll make like a whole video explaining what it is at some point. But even that, I'm like thinking about like how would that video do stop thinking about it.
Just make Anyways, do you struggle with the same thing? I'm sure you do.
