Week in the life of a 28 y/o entrepreneur building an online business transcript

of dream so I can't be out here living stupid I love so you say I shot by I just finished uh the scripting of the first Vlog similar to this which is going to be on the main channel so just so you guys know what's going on cuz it's a lot more chill over here um I'm going to be posting a video similar to this every week for the next 12 weeks over here see how that goes um I'm also going to post one on the main channel to just kind of like let people know that it's happening if they want to join me but really this is just for me because um the accountability aspect of this is really big for me if like I Vlog my day it's kind of like having somebody around with me um when I work by myself right now I did just make my first tire but they're virtual so um yeah that's that and then if you're wonder what this stuff is over here um this right here is Peter mckennon's office I would like to have an office like that eventually I know I talked about it last week or whatever but um that I would like to have that happen by next year but um I'm think I'm going to start with the co-working space before I had um this business that I've been kind of working on uh I didn't really have a lot of phone calls I had very few meetings and as I work with more people I just have to talk to them so I need to figure out a way to spend less time on the phone cuz it's going to be like 3 hours today or Zoom calls um and more time actually working on the business cuz um yeah it's going to be out of whack so I'll try to figure that out but right now I have a class that um was about to go live in 3 minutes so I got to finish preparing for that I will say that like uh teaching online is something that I don't like doing as an extreme introvert like especially the first couple times I did this my body got all tense I couldn't work the rest of the day really really stressful and this second time around this my second time teaching this this YouTube cohort U might be my last probably is my last um but I feel way less stressed I can actually like work in function and think I'm like my heart isn't as tight I'm still like stressed but uh it's not as bad as it was so I do feel like practice it is definitely been been key for me even at things that I suck at and don't come naturally um just doing them anyways has made it a lot easier so yeah I'm going to turn on some music prepare real quick get in the zone and uh we'll catch you later all right so I think the the main thing I'm realizing is that I'm pretty excited about this idea of financial minimalism and um over the course of probably the the rest of this year I'm really just trying to nail down exactly what that is I realized uh actually on the call today that there's some some levels to this like both me and this other guy reached this level where we had time freedom where we built enough pass ofish income um to pretty much do whatever we want and at that point what do you want to do like I haven't been doing a lot for the past like couple years because I kind of got burned out and I got YouTube to the point where I can do it in you know two to five hours a week and now I'm three months ahead on my main Channel and I'm like uh I need something to do in life and that's why I'm starting this channel that's why I'm starting some some businesses we're talking about finding some ways to help other people become financially free in uh you know 3 to 5 to 10 years in the same way that I've done it he's done it bunch of other people have done it uh through this path of like Financial minimalism and kind of climbing this ladder um and I think that's something that really excites me right now is finding um really nailing down exactly what happened and how the these common Paths of reaching Financial Independence um how that how that's actually attainable for a lot of people without saving up a million dollars or doing any of the the Crazy Fire movement stuff and I think that's what I'm going to be documenting on this channel and also on my main Channel but I think that's something I want to build this year is the process to help people go from nothing where I was like eight years ago to uh getting to the point where you have enough Freedom that you're like what do I actually want my ideal day to look like um and trying to get towards that sooner so um yeah that's what I'm I'm I'm thinking about today I'm going to go to the gym and then I'm pretty much done work for today tomorrow I've got a call with a potential uh book deal so we see what happens with that and [Music] yeah this could be a completely life-changing phone call it'll literally change the next like year or two of my life if I decide to do this so I guess um a little [Music] nervous my younger days I used to hang around with mad friends if we just fell out I don't really know what happened life decisions all right so I was talking to somebody there about a possible um like book deal and he said he was like 95% sure I could get one um if I did that it would be a ton of work it would be um I would have to like you know Market the book and like really take a lot of things more seriously uh because I just been kind of screwing around for a bit and uh I think be exciting it's probably something I'm going to end up Happ to do but I'm going to think about it for a couple days on another no that's completely unrelated like this entire video I feel like has taken place inside of my office right here this is why do it get so like this is it's a it's a bedroom um and I can't think is clearly in here I feel like so tomorrow I'm actually going to check out a uh co-working space all right so this is going to be the first day trying out the new office uh I definitely think I like to have something that is my own at some point but uh we're going to give this a try I don't think I can film in there there's going to be like people who are like working and stuff so um I'll probably have to catch you guys once we're done today is a YouTube day so I'm filming a YouTube video uh got to answer some emails work with some sponsors I went to the gym this morning um and it's like 10:40 right now and I'm just getting started with work uh cuz I had some other like personal things going on this morning so uh I'm going to dive into work for a little bit shoot a video get some phone calls later so I have like a a script writer um who has a script I actually have like three videos right now that I need to shoot for the main Channel um this is why I'm like a couple months ahead over there is cuz like I I make more than I post but generally I don't actually profit on the main Channel unless I have a sponsor so I don't post all the ones that I that I make I have like a catalog that I'm building up and then also um I get to a point where I can post multiple a week or I can take a month off or do whatever so I like to have you know at least a month in the bag but anyways I have three videos here that I'm going to shoot for today probably just going to shoot one to two a pretty drained after one so I'll see how I feel I think I'm going to shoot this one and then like go in the cold plunge chill out for a bit and then I'll try one more so while I have so I'm going to listen to some more music for another minute or two and then uh then start [Music] shooting yo let's go sorry guys we have chickens we have nine chickens and they just started laying eggs so this is actually the most I think we've ever gotten a day there were six there absolutely crazy it's almost 1:00 right now um I do inter fasting so I pretty much start eating around here so I'm going to have probably four eggs and maybe oatmeal and whatever else I can find in the fridge kind of break my fast then probably hop in the cold plunge and then uh go back to work so bit of a lunch break [Music] here we'll landed with oatmeal and blueberries uh four eggs and tuna I don't know it's what sounded good [Music] I was about to go in but look at this there's like hundreds of those little bugs in there so uh yeah I don't know what's up with that but apparently I got to drain this and and start over I really need a chiller on this thing but maybe I'll just go in the lock line instead [Music] ah I won't lie because it's so big it doesn't feel like I'm going 40 oh hi so after 3 years now of having one car between the two of us cuz we were you know trying to save money I was working from home since I'm getting this office hey do you want to come in seeu so yeah so we're doing that to save money but since I'm getting an office now why uh we thought it was a good time and I don't know I'm just really grateful we're at a point right now where like last week we're like you know what SIM let's just go out and get a car so mer did some research we just picked one went and bought it it's really cool to be in a spot where that doesn't really super affect us too much um at this point U which is something like 5 years ago I never could have imagined D enough and this is a used car it's like four years old but um she enough yeah it's too dry enough it's too dry enough yeah I don't know what that means so this is a car that has you know uh more seating for the kids we'll be able to have it for the next 10 years and um you know it it should be a a really good car so uh really grateful for this and all right I'm going to go back inside this is weird cuz I'm starting like a week in the Life Vlog I'm Vlogging today this is the last day of like the first week of week in the Life vlogging that was the first like group uh coaching call with my um Community which was pretty fun get to meet a lot of people and and stuff like that which is cool cuz uh I don't know it it's cool to meet people who are as passionate about YouTube as I am which I really like so um yeah I'm going to have one more call on a mini here but I think we'll wrap up the Vlog here pretty much done week work for
