The BEST Ways to Farm Mythics in Season 15! | Diablo 4 transcript

Wanderers mythic farming has changed quite a bit in Diablo I season 15 with a little bit of the old coming back paired with a little bit of the new. We're going to cover the best ways for you to get mythics on top of just every way that you can get mythics in the game. Some of the changes that hit season 15 so that you don't accidentally waste some of your sparks and craft some pieces of gear that you can't use. We're going to start with the basics.

The first thing that we're going to talk about is just where they are going to be dropping from. Mythics can drop from anywhere in the game. You can be running through hell tides. You can do a nightmare dungeon. You can open up a whisper cache. No matter where you go, you can get a mythic to drop. The chances are relatively low. But if you do get those moments where you go and you kill, let's say, the new shade in Hell Tides where Diablo spawns or Bale or Memphis spawn, I had a mythic drop from that the other night and it was very cool.

It was a very fun moment. I didn't expect it. I was just expecting some loot. They can drop from anywhere. The traditional boss farm is still available. You can just use your regular boss keys. And there's some actually very fun ways to get guaranteed superior layer keys using the whisper tree and the new seasonal power. You take your seasonal power and then you combine that with the destruction splinter. Whenever you get ambushed, it's going to guarantee you to get superior lair keys.

Superior lair keys this season will be used for balle. Everybody loved the reaper boss last season. and you had tons and tons of superior layer keys, that is gone. But you can take these superior layer keys and you can go to balile. And the benefit, and I would honestly save these for this specific instances, if you do not feel like running the infertile hordes or you do not feel like running an escalating nightmare dungeon, you can use balle to select the asteroth or the bartuk chests.

Have a chance to get those mythics from doing balile. Balile has the highest drop rate for mythics out of all of the layer bosses. So, this is a really good place to go. Any of them will be able to drop them. And if you're looking for more keys, all you got to do is hover over them. They'll tell you where they come from. We get your keys of spoils from the war plans, hell tides, bleached events, world bosses, tree of whispers, and then the unders city car.

That's where your regular layer keys come from. Then the greater layer keys are going to come from killing bosses with your lesser layer keys. Those lesser layer keys have a chance to drop these greater layer keys. It's not guaranteed. So you may run through all of your keys and get none. Then when you're doing either of these two, you have a chance to spawn baby balile. And baby balile will drop you a superior lair key or several of them.

So that's going to be how you're going to do your bosses. And bosses are still a really reliable way to get your mythics. Meisto Misto has changed. Misto is the hardest fight in Diablo IV and in season 14 the rewards felt a little bit lackluster. In season 15, he's been buffed. He has a guaranteed chance to drop a mythic item. Now, the crux of false prophet, they're not super common, so finding these is definitely not going to be the easiest thing in the world, but if you do find them, you have gotten yourself a mythic.

Now, it is out of all of the pool, so it's not like you can target farm specific mythics. However, if you're strong enough to kill meto or if you have a group and you know some people, which I have a really great option for you at the end of the video, this is going to be a great option. You can get these crux of the false prophet from war plans from the initiate bosses. So, that's going to be all of these. So, any of these bosses has a tro chance to drop them.

And you can get them from world bosses and just regular elite monsters. So just going out there and killing them. They're rarely found in Torment 10 or higher from your greater layer bosses. So doing those greater layer bosses has a chance to drop them, too. That's going to be meto for you. Then the unders city. This was also buffed. This was buffed last season, though, so it's going to carry over for this season. When you're running your mythic tributes of armorament, if you have access to the cube, you can take five of these, put them into the cube, upgrade them to a mythic tribute of armament, and they now have a guaranteed chance to drop a mythic.

They also have a higher chance to drop your iconic mythics. Those are the original mythics that were in the game before the mythic changes were made. So, if you do your unders city, you have a higher chance to get an iconic mythic, but it can be from every single one of the pools. When you're doing these runs, there's a couple things in your war plans that you do want to have when you're going to be doing those. You do want to come down the left hand side.

This is going to make it so that you have portal pranksters. When you kill portal pranksters, if you do happen to get lucky and find these portal pranksters, as you clear the beacons, it's going to give you a chance to have extra chests. Those chests do have chances to drop a mythic, but it is not guaranteed. You are going to be guaranteed one, and then on top of that, if you do get another, you'll have that available to you.

Speaking of these war plans, if you're going to be doing bosses, you probably want to come down to Lair of Plenty. You're going to be going right down and increasing your monster power, which is going to give you more experience, more loot, and it also is going to give you an additional horde chest. This is double the chest per kill. You still need to have the keys for it. It just makes your farming time go a little bit faster.

And coming right down the center will give you a chance for the ultimate nemesis layer. You will need three superior layer keys to open this up. So, just make sure that you keep at least three of them on hand. But even if you don't get those to spawn and you just so happen to be using the splinter of destruction, this will have an increased chance for all of the portals to spawn. So if you're going to be farming bosses for your mythics, it's probably a good option to have the splinter of destruction on.

Before we get into what I would consider the meta for the season, we're going to talk about crafting, cuz crafting has changed in this season. The blacksmith now has two options. We now have your random mythic uniques and you have your random iconic mythic uniques. This is how I got my melted heart of Celig. This was some of the feedback that the developers took from the public test realm and they implemented into the season.

This originally was only going to be a random mythic unique. They took the feedback and they added in a random iconic mythic so you still have a way to at least target farm them in a random sort of sense. You can get all of the ring of starless sky, your melted heart of Celig, your grandfathers. All of those will come right from this. This is the rest of the pool. So, if you're looking for everything else and you've gotten all of your iconic mythics, you're going to hit that random pool.

That is your blacksmith changes. The jeweler, you can go over to your rune crafting, go to the mythic. This is a random out of all of the pool, the entire pool. You can take any of the runes that you have and if you have enough of those and a spark, you can get any mythic inside of these specific ones. So, if you're looking for a two-handed weapon as an mythic unique, you may have a much smaller pool than if you were to go to the blacksmith and just randomly gamble on everything.

So, this is a really good option for you. Both the blacksmith and the jeweler are crafted items, but they do not count as the crafted tag like we had in the previous season. When you craft one of these, you can wear as many of them as you want. You can craft as many iconic mythics as you can from the blacksmith. You can craft as many regular mythics and you can equip all of them. When we get to the cube, the cube will now add a crafted tag just like it has here.

This says crafted on the very bottom. You can only wear one crafted mythic unique from the cube. The reason they did this is that they made it a onetoone upgrade. When I found this piece of Gore's devastating grips, I had strength, I had the critical strike damage bonus, and I also had the whirlwind ranks on it. That's how it came. Then I added the vulnerable, and then I decided to upgrade this to a mythic. It kept all of the stats.

They're all exactly the same. So, if you find a GG god tier roll of a unique, not a mythic, of a unique, you can bring it right over to the cube and you can upgrade it. Now, when you're going to be upgrading, which I'm going to actually have to go find myself another pair of gores because I did find something else that I do want to upgrade that probably doesn't have a mythic quality of it. So, using those sparks on something like infinity here is going to be huge, huge damage for the barbarian.

And the only way for me to get that is to click on the mythic upgrade. It now says mythic upgrade, not craft mythic. That's a big difference in how this is working. And you have to pay attention. If you don't have enough sparks, it's just going to show a spark and it's going to say one or it's going to say two, but it's going to be red and it won't let you click. If you have five sparks, you can upgrade and it is a guaranteed every single stat on this is going to stay.

So, make sure that you have the right one and you pick the right piece because if I craft this right now, I cannot equip it because I can't equip that and my Gore's devastating grips. Pick and choose carefully which one you want to upgrade. You can get all of the regular unique items. You can find them all throughout the world just simply farming. one of the best farms in the game we're going to talk about now has a higher chance of dropping the new uniques, but it still is incredibly great and is a really good spark farm if you're looking for that.

By new mythics, I mean your crown of leorics, your stone of Jordan, all of those will have a much higher chance to drop from this farm. But you can just do regular bosses and get that. Or you can use this farm to get sparks and then use this spark to craft. So there's a lot of different really great ways to do that. If you were to scroll out all the way on your map and you can see these red dungeons, you have your Durance of Hate, World Stone Keep, and you also have the Labyrinth.

This is Diablo. This is going to be Bale. And this is Misto. They all have the same loophole. They all have the same chances. And they all can drop all of the splinters that everybody is hunting for. Bale is the fastest. Bale also has the best farm for gems in the game. This is something that if you're going to be hunting, this is the old style of farming for really good gear that has come back from the eras of Diablo II.

When you're doing these, the goal is not to kill monsters. The goal is to run through as fast as you can, and you want to get to the very end. No matter what you do, because this is a capstone dungeon, it will always say torment 10, but the monsters are plus 30. When you're running this, you're going to run through the ancients. You want to kill the ancients. These will drop all of the gems that you need. This is where the first part of that gem farm comes in and why this is really so valuable.

After you do that, your next goal, again, don't kill anything. You want to have a nice fast build where you can just fly through, which having the enigma chest on makes that really easy. I just posted a video on how to craft all of the new rune words as well. And as well as crafting yourself an enigma because you actually can use your previous runes that you have found to find and craft an enigma. You can use those runes to craft new runes and with those runes, you can get some of the more rare ones.

So, your goal is to find the next place. And it if you go in a straight line, it pretty much will take you there. Once you get here, you're going to go through all of these waves for Bale. This is basically just almost exactly like it used to be coming back from the days of Diablo 2. So, it brings back all that nostalgia from people that were there that got to play that, but then it also adds in this really fun new element that people haven't got to do yet with Diablo 4 or maybe they only played Diablo II.

So, there's a whole lot of new people this season that have never got to experience this. So, pairing this alongside of your traditional boss farming has actually been pretty fun. So, you're going to work your way through all of these stages. Once you get your Tal rune and your E rune to drop, you're going to see them drop after you kill the boss right here. You run straight up cuz you know that that's the end of it.

And then you're just going to run and you're going to kill Bale. This is the best farm in the game. And if you're on a whirlwind bar, you can kind of just like plant yourself in the corner here, smash against the wall, pop your buffs, and then when Bale spawns, he's just going to die. And that's it. That is your farm. That one is probably the best farm in the game. The other two Primevals, it's a little bit longer. You can skip Diablo's phases, but this one is really fast and it gives you all of that gem farm.

Now, I talked about earlier in the video a great place to go and look for some runs, some rotations. Discord will be in the top of the description of the video. People are doing rotations every single day. This is a really, really active place. You can just hop right over into the looking for group channel and there are people that have basically just running stuff all day long. People are in voice chat every single day playing.

We have an incredibly active trade chat that literally goes from the first day of the season till the very last day of the season. People are trading gear.
