Other creators might tell you to do that, but if your goal is to make money and especially like evergreen income, don't start with that, please. I've seen it

There's a strategy that normal people are doing on YouTube right now and I am begging you to try it. In fact, the last person I gave this strategy to, it became a one out of 10 within a couple days for them on their next video. But before you get to this, there are a few things you really need to understand or it just won't work. Now, we've all heard about copying trending videos in order to get views and this is not exactly that, but there are things that you can actually pull from other niches and other areas of YouTube that you can convert into your own channel, your own subject, your own niche, whatever you're talking about.
But the problem is, if you don't have a way to make money from this one out of 10, which you might get, or from new audience coming in, before you start trying to get more views, you have to look at two things cuz getting more views could destroy your channel. Like, this, what I'm about to show you, could get you one out of 10 and it could ruin your channel. So, like, please just hang on. First of all, if you have an influx of people coming in, you need to be able to make money from them.
If you're just trying to make money from views, it's going to be incredibly hard. You're going to need probably, um, half a million to a million views a month in order to make a full-time income that is long-form views, which is incredibly hard to do. As someone who has done that for the past multiple years, it's very hard, okay? But what is much easier is having an extremely targeted demographic and having a way to make money from them.
So, this would be something like affiliates where I've done this with Sonos, I've done this with bank accounts, I've done this with pots and pans where if you can get an audience and every one of those people has a high likelihood of checking out the thing that can help them that is free for you, that is not even something you're selling, it's just something you're facilitating, you have a very high likelihood of making $1,000, making $10,000 or $20,000 on a single video with affiliates.
I know because I've done all of those. But on the other hand, you can get that same amount of views and make $20 in AdSense. So, you either need to have affiliates, one, you need to have your own product. If we look at Natasha in this channel right here, she has actually made thousands of dollars, created multiple clients with just a few hundred subscribers because she has extremely good skill set and is able to teach people that.
You should either have minimum a lead magnet, but some type of offer if you are going to use this strategy. Second of all, you want to make sure you build a relationship. When you have a big influx of people, you want to make sure that you're able to build a relationship with those people so that they stay on the video. We'll go back to that. All right, so let's just get into this and I'll I'll break down a few other things you need to make sure you're trying by the end of this.
First of all, I saw this video pop up on my feed a while ago. It's on Begging You to Manage Your Time. You might recognize that. But see, there's no caps in this. This is a huge trend that's going around right now of like this normal-looking text style of thumbnail. And then somebody else copied that and did Seriously, I'm Begging You to Manage Your Time. Huge outlier for them. This guy did I'm Begging You to Manage Your Time. 170,000 views.
But some people would look at this and say like, "Okay, well, I have to copy them and pretty much take their thumbnail word for word in order to go viral." Well, you do not have to do this. This is where looking outside of your niche comes in. I think I have a hour-long thing on this inside the 5-hour YouTuber where you can steal from proven things in other niches without copying them. So, this would be I'm Begging You to Write Essays.
And this person did Before That, I'm Politely Begging You to Write Nonfiction. This might have been one of the first ones actually that everybody else kind of spun off of. But then if we take that a step further, I did it and I did I'm Begging You to Throw Out Your Stuff. I took that same proven concept from another niche and I adapted it into my own niche of minimalism on my main channel, at least not on this channel.
And that one got 450,000 views in 3 weeks from using a proven title structure format, not the proven video idea, proven title structure format, which is just one of many, many things that can really help grow your channel. And so, I texted that to one of my students who is in a similar niche who I knew this would work for and she was able to get 30,000 views 39,000 views now inside of two weeks from this. It was a one out of 10 for her.
She usually gets a couple thousand views per video and then she followed up on herself and did I'm still begging you to do this and still did better than her average. So she was able to get two videos out of this idea adapting it to her niche and then I saw that proof and now I'm doing it on this video right here which is another niche from that niche from the other niche. I actually told all my students about this a couple weeks ago inside of my cohort where so there'll be a bunch of other success stories.
So there's a bunch of other videos in production right now that'll most likely be one out of 10s. But the thing is this doesn't matter. Natasha just showed me that she made $73 in a day in AdSense from this video. So 40,000 views getting $73 is not life-changing but she has had multiple days of over $1,000 a day in affiliate income on this smaller channel that doesn't get a ton of views because she actually has a way to make money.
So when she has a big influx of stuff instead of making $70 from a video and she paid for an editor she would lose money. She's going to make minimum hundreds most likely thousands of dollars from this influx of people this influx of views. So just before you start trying to copy viral things get a bunch of new audiences in you need to make sure you do a couple things and I want to show you a few other examples of probably free one out of 10s for you.
But first you need to build a connection with these people coming in and the way you do that is by being authentic by being different by being a normal human being not being like a bot not copying other people's ideas but having your own original spin on things and one way I love to do that is actually with the only sponsor I've ever had on this channel Storyblocks. I've been using them for years and one of the things that I love about Storyblocks not only do you get like unlimited downloads of 4K images and B-roll and music sound effects all the stuff that you see in my videos transitions all of that is probably from Storyblocks.
We've been using them for years but their B-roll their music all this stuff is like made by real people. So, when somebody looks at your channel, when they first see your channel, if you make one of these videos and it's just stock, crappy, B-roll, the music is jarring, it is just like bad, cheap-looking transitions, they're not going to get the warm and fuzzies. They're not going to come back for the next video. They're not going to subscribe, stay longer, check out the links in the description, if your video is just terrible.
And so, Storyblocks can be a great, great tool in order to help build more personal, realistic, shot-by-human style B-roll. my favorite things that they do is like they have real creators making B-roll, so when I use B-roll, people don't see that it's like stock, it doesn't look cheap, it doesn't take them out of the video cuz it's so generic-looking. It doesn't look like it's made by AI. Like it's real-looking human experiences and interactions and stuff.
So, actually, Storyblocks is doing 15% off annual plan and you can't actually get it on the main site, but you can get it with my link. So, if you want to check that out, it is limited time. They actually just told me this. So, check that out and thanks for Storyblocks for sponsoring this video. The next one is is this trend. I would say you probably missed this for the most part, but some of these can still work. Um so, this is give me 58 seconds and I'll delete your fear of rejection and I'll delete your fear of AI replacing you and I'll change your life forever and I'll motivate you to ruin your life.
This is again taking a proven format, proven idea, and putting your own spin on it. So many people that I see are just replicating other people's work beat for beat. This has happened to me multiple times where I'll have a video go viral and then people will literally make the exact same intro as me, the exact same points as me and like that's fine. It's going to work to an extent, but there's also going to be some people who saw the original viral video and get the ick from you and aren't going to convert over.
So, like there's a balance again with taking originality, taking a proven concept, and being the first to move it over into your niche. But this one right here, it's definitely worth the shot cuz you got 59 seconds, 58 seconds. Even this person here was one of the earlier adopters on this and it's It's to tell where the first one came from, but this format will most likely work for a lot of people. But, uh here's the thing.
It probably won't work for my audience because this, if you notice, is very male-focused. All these guys here, Dan Martell, he probably has a 80% 90% male audience. Gary Vee, uh large male audience. A lot of these creators are have a large male audience. And especially on my main channel, I have more of a split audience cuz of the topics that I talk about. So, if I did this, I would have to really adapt it well, or it just might flop because of that.
Even understanding your niche and the type of things that would fit in it is also very important. But, this is the other thing that is super important to consider before making this. If we look at one of my first students, Tonio, he has videos that are in a very different style than me. He started in the productivity niche, but now he's one of the biggest uh entertainment creators right now. And he has this format of I stayed at America's worst-rated resorts, hotels, what whatever it is.
He tries America's worst-rated. But, I could take that and adapt it to my space. I could do I tried America's worst habit. I could try living on $1 a day for a week, or $3 a day for a week, or whatever. And take take it in my frugal living space. I could try the top YouTube tips that are viral and see if it blew up my channel. So, you can take a proven format from another niche and adapt it into your own space. However, the problem is if that goes viral and you take one of these proven formats and it goes viral in your space, now you have to do that.
I hate doing challenge videos. I've done them before. It's extremely stressful. But, let me show you show you one more thing that you can do that is like a cheat code. If we go to my main channel here, this video right here was 20 lessons from Rich Dad Poor Dad that changed my life. This was very formulaic in how we did this. But, if you see this thumbnail here, which is half me in a dirty shirt, half me in a clean shirt, with the rich and poor on what you wouldn't expect in the background.
This was actually taken this thumbnail style was inspired by a entertainment YouTuber. It was I think Erack at the time. This was years ago, so I don't super remember the video, but it was inspired by a different niche. And so a lot of times when small creators are trying stuff, they're just making stuff, the reason that you're not successful is because you're completely making up everything as you go. You're not taking inspiration, you're not looking at proven formats, you're not looking at proven structures.
Like this the structure of this is just having a before and after. The structure of this is just having it like the clean and dirty. It's nothing like super new, but it's a proven format that works on YouTube. Same thing with the before and after here. Same thing with having a logo in this. This is all just like kind of taking proven stuff and I think the reason why a lot of small creators especially don't succeed is they're trying to be super original and everything that they do is like just brand new and totally original.
It's just not going to work. So if you want to learn more like this, I have a free mini course down below which kind of gives some info on titles and thumbnails and breaks down some of this further. It's totally free. It's like a email course over the course of a week. Or feel free to sign up for the waitlist of the next 5-hour YouTuber cohort that we're doing. We actually sold out for the first time in the previous cohort, so yeah, those on the waitlist get first dibs.
Feel free to check that out. This is proven stuff. It does work like I showed you, so enjoy and please do. I'm begging you to fill in the blank of your own niche.
