wonders. This little cube right here is the strongest crafting system that we have in the game right now, and it has the ability to take your character from zero to hero. As long as you know what you're doing, there is a chance that you could take your gear and make it completely unusable. We have two brand new recipes that were added in this season, and I'm going to break down the entire cube. If you haven't gotten to mess around with this or you're too scared, by the end of this video, hopefully this will be a lot easier for you to tackle.

Later on in the season, I will have a complete guide to crafting, which will be a walkthrough from start to finish of a complete set of gear. This will just be all of the mechanics and what you can do to use each one of them. We're going to start with adding aixes. A really great place to get all of the gear that you need is the purveyor of curiosity. It's very simple. You just pick and choose anything that you want and that can include legendary pieces of gear.

So, we're going to do legendary and we're also going to talk about adding in on your regular either magic rare or normal pieces of gear. So, to start off with adding aixes, you should be able to do this very very early on because the material cost, as you can see, we have a ton of them. When you get a blue piece of gear, these can get better. And you can do this from a normal piece of gear as well. You put it in and without even needing any sort of tuning prisms, you can simply just add an aics.

You just transmute it. When you're in the early stages of your leveling process, you're just going to add. You're not going to use a tuning prism. If you have progressed past that early stages and if you're looking for a really great way to know how to progress through the tournament tiers, I just posted this video on gear the right way. This is also tied to a writeup that's on my website. The website is completely free.

You don't have to sign up for anything and there are no ads on the site. This is actually also going to be the spot where we have our Herodic cube cheat sheet. This is absolutely essential if you're brand new or still learning how to use the cube. You can click on each one of the different pieces of gear and it's going to show you which tuning prisms affect which pieces of gear. Incredibly helpful, really great reference.

So, the link will be in the description of the video for this. Starting with this, once you have moved past your I'm just going to add anything because I need to get up and running to adding specific ones. You're going to use your cheat sheet to click on your weapon. And you know that you can use any of these to add any of these abilities. The website will be updated and we're going to be removing all of the resources cuz this is newly added this season.

They have actually removed any of the resource onkill, resource cost reduction, and chance to restore primary resources. All gone from weapons. So don't look for those. You're going to pick and choose any one of the tuning prisms to use and then you just click on add aics and then it will add anything inside of that bucket. Aggressive has a whole bunch of buckets. Unfortunately, aggressive also shares with core. So sometimes you could be adding an aggressive tuning prism and it will add your main stat.

Doesn't work the same way with your adept tuning prism. This only adds core. So unfortunately they're shared. Some of them are going to be shared like that, like resistances are shared with protector. Just all we have chaotic rroll. This allows you to take all of your affixes and just randomly roll them. You can make this a little less chaotic, but to start off with, we have strength, max life, and then life on kill.

If we click on chaotic reroll, it just rerolls every single stat on there. You're going to get different values out of them, different stats, sometimes completely in different categories. So, it's a really great way if you have something that you don't have a lot of options, you just want to roll everything, you can do that. How this is actually really used is if you have a legendary piece of gear, chaotic reroll comes into play.

When we're looking at this, I don't need fire damage. I do need critical strike damage. Weapon damage might be good depending on what slot we're using it in. But if I want to get rid of one of those, I can go to chaotic rroll and I can target a specific one. Unfortunately, it targets the entire grouping. So, if I want to remove fire damage, chances are I'm going to remove something that I don't want to remove. But if I use this prism and I roll it, it got rid of my weapon damage and it gave me life on kill.

It took it out of the category that I was already in and it put it into a completely different category. If I didn't need strength, that's really easy to target. You just put this in and it's going to completely remove your strength. And then when these disappear on the bottom, that means that there is nothing from this prism that can be rerolled in any sort of way. And we have now taken your strength and converted it back to weapon damage.

You can do this for any of them. So any legendary that you find isn't necessarily out of the running. If I did want to remove that fire damage, obviously you can go to the enchanter and you can do that. But if you have two stats, you can just keep on rolling and hope that you get lucky. So that's your chaotic roll. Focus rroll. This will allow you to constantly roll inside of a specific category. So we put this on. And if I want to focus, I'm going to not have to swap anything.

If I just click on focus reroll and then I roll and I transmute, I'm going to have to choose the tuning prism that I want. So if I want to, let's say, get max life, but I have life on kill. I'm going to put the protector in. I can now transmute. It will roll only that life on hit. It now rolls the maximum life and I have the rolls that I wanted. If I was to roll for aggressive because I wanted to move around that fire damage multi, I do have a chance of re-rolling everything, but it won't remove the maximum life.

So, I lost my weapon damage for strength, and then when I reroll it again, I lost my critical strength damage bonus for weapon damage. You will have to do this over and over and over again because it is a random draw, which is much easier to craft a yellow piece of gear. But if you do have, let's say, several gas in a separate category that you don't need and you just need to move one around and you want that legendary piece of gear, this is incredibly helpful.

Remove affixes. Why would we want to be removing affixes? Well, there's some really great reasons for that. If we have this weapon and I want to remove these aixes, we can one start over right from the very beginning. We have a nice fresh craft. We don't have to worry about any of the aixes that are already on there. And you can use these specific prisms to add exactly the type that you want. That's a really great option for you.

However, if you remove it, you can also craft a unique. The only time that you can craft uniques is when it is a regular white piece of gear. Any normal piece of gear can be crafted into a unique. And you want to make sure that with this you have a 900 item hour gear. it will [snorts] always take the base that you're doing and it will upgrade to that same item power for the base. So that is going to be why you want to remove an aix.

Now new this season is the aix value. What this does is it randomizes the value of all base affixes on equipment or talisman. It's going to take the affixes that are already there and it's just going to reroll the value of them which is really really helpful. If you find the ones that you're looking for and they're perfect, but maybe they're just a low roll, you can use this to randomize and hopefully get a little bit closer to having max rerolls.

And it does all of them. What is very cool about this though is that it ignores greater affixes, tempers, enchanted affixes, transfigured affixes, legendary power, and unique powers. That means that if you find a GG piece of gear, you have two, three greater affixes and the third one, fourth one, whatever it is that you got on there maybe just isn't quite right, you can roll that value without having to go to the enchanter and spend millions and billions of gold, constantly re-rolling and hoping that you get a bigger aics on there.

You can just use this to roll those affixes and get them to a higher value. That also works for your talisman as well. So, if we were to grab a talisman and you put the talisman there and let's say that I wanted to get weapon mastery skills, but I only have a two out of a three and I want to get that three, but I don't want to have to constantly roll this buru rune and hope that I find that one. I can simply just put this into the cube.

Click on fixed value aics and when I transmute them now remember it does cost a tuned primordial dust so it can be pretty expensive but I now have three skills instead of two and I didn't have to randomly roll over and over and over and over again to hope that I got the right roll. So this is a really great option for you when you find that roll and then you don't have to worry about hoping that it's the right spot. So that is your aics value.

Unique power reroll. This is pretty straightforward. It actually does work on your talisman as well. So if you take a charm, I don't have 20%. Any unique across the whole game, whether it's items, whether it's charms, any unique, you can take this and you can get a better power. If it's not a mythic, I want to get that 20%. So, I'm going to use a tune primordial dust and I'm going to roll. And I got a 19% instead of a 17%.

So, which just makes it just a little bit better. Really helpful, really beneficial. So, you don't have to hunt if you find I have plus three to marshall skills and I have resistances on this one. I don't want to have to go out there and try and find another endurance faith with marshall skills and a better roll on my tower. So this gives me that better power roll for Rodri roll. This is brand new and this fully randomizes all base affixes on a talisman.

This is going to help you avoid having to do the gamble with your roll set charm. We'll talk about that in a little bit. If you find the right item, so we are looking for a fur. That's the one that we're looking for. We find one, but it doesn't have the right rolls like mine doesn't, right? Mine doesn't have anything that makes any benefit for my build. I can put this in, and yes, it is very expensive. The pure primordial dust can be pretty expensive to get.

However, I can keep this fur rune and I can just roll the affixes that are on the top. And with that, I can actually not have to randomly gamble again and I can hopefully get the one that I'm looking for. So, you're just going to use this one to just constantly roll. Again, put it inside your budget. Make sure that you have enough attuned primordial dust and that you can get enough to reroll and then you're going to find the one that you're looking for.

So, this was really, really helpful. This was a really great addition. I just got the two that I absolutely need for this build. Now, because I got this two, I can actually go back to my aics value roll and I can get this to a three and almost a max resistance roll. This build requires marshall skills and it requires physical resistance. So, I took a charm that was a zero and I brought it to a hero. So, this is a an incredibly strong way to incorporate all of this new rrolling and take out a lot of the randomness from your set charm rroll.

Next is transfigure items. This one is incredibly dangerous and I will do an entire video on transfiguration and all of the warnings that you can do, but do not do this unless you have a backup piece of gear. pretty please. This finalizes your gear. It can add some incredibly strong affixes to your gear, but it also can remove aixes, replace aixes, and it could put something like maximum life onto a piece of gear on a Celig build where you can have absolutely zero maximum life.

So, if you use this option and you roll and you don't have a backup, you could lose your gear. what this does, and we'll show you what it looks like. You're going to put this on, and you have a couple different tuning prisms that you can use. The Kool-Aid tuning prism, we'll talk about in a second cuz that's for your amulets. The entropic tuning prism, it's actually going to remove some of those really negative effects.

So, you won't replace an aix or anything like that, but it also removes the really crazy good ones. So you can get things like plus physical damage or plus fire damage or plus shadow damage. And those are multipliers and they're completely separate from everything else. Huge boost to your damage. If you use this entropic tuning prism, you have less of a chance of getting a bad roll, but zero chance of getting a really good roll.

You can get some good ones, things like all stats and things that will help boost your character, but this removes those high high ones. It also makes it so that it is a 100% chance that the item cannot be modified again. What that means by not modified is that it means not modified. You can do absolutely zero to this. The only thing that you can do is put in and take out gems or runes. You cannot enchant it. You cannot temper it.

You cannot masterwork it. You cannot socket it. You cannot do anything to this as soon as you hit this transfigure button. What we do, we're just going to transfigure it so you can see what it looks like. On the very bottom, it says unmodifiable. That means I cannot modify this whatsoever. You cannot change it. It did add a greater aics to my gear. But now again, if I forgot to add my tempers, which I did. I didn't add a socket, I can't do that anymore.

I didn't put the right aspect on there, I can't do that. I didn't masterwork it, so I can't go back and do that. You cannot change it. This should be the final step in your process. and we'll go over a complete guide on how to do it. You can do the same thing on an amulet, but it also has another option. If you look at the very bottom, I have two aspects on this amulet. I have the one for the melted heart of Celig and I also have the 50 primary resources.

I'm going to deal damage. That is an anger management aspect. You get that by using the Kool-Aid prisms. When you put this into the cube, it makes it so that your amulet is 100% modifiable every single time. It does not add an extra aix or replace an aics or anything like that until you remove the Kool-A. Now, if I was to transfigure and now I have that chance of getting the extra affixes or getting really good rolls, getting really bad rolls and making it not modifiable.

This saves it and this adds another aspect. So you can have those two aspects on your gear with this. This is the biggest question that I get out of planners is how am I constantly staying berserking? And that's because I have anger management on the amulet. It's interchangeable because it is only a utility aspect. You can get any of the utility aspects for any class on the amulet. That's how you know what you're going to get.

You can go over to the enchanter, you can select utility, and you can see all of your options for you. These are interchangeable with the boots. If you do happen to get the one that you're looking for on your boots, on your amulet, you get a bonus to it because you get 1.5 times the normal aspect and then you can just put something else on your boots. So, pick and choose, check the build guides, and see how it goes. So, that's transfiguration.

Next, we're going to be talking about 3 to one. So, 3:1, you can do this with several different options. You can take a lot of things, put three of them in. They have to be exactly the same and you can get three different things. So exact an example is we're going to put in three of these herodic seals. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest doing this, but a lot of people do cuz they're looking for their six slot seal. When you transmute it, you get another one.

Doesn't guarantee that it's going to be six slots. This one is just five still. I would highly suggest salvaging all of them. You can salvage them at the enchanter. The resin is so important. We do get to save a little bit of resin now because we have the rerolls that we were just talking about, the new ones, which are really, really nice, but having enough resin is incredibly important. So, there's a lot of different uses that you can do for this 3:1 transmutation.

Next is going to be recycle uniques. You can do this with three different charms. You can do this with three different uniques. If you had several different uniques that were all the same, always grab three Leoric's crowns. And we come over to the cube. And be careful with these if you have favored them. Even if they're favored, you can still put them into the cube. So be careful because if you don't pay attention, I did this last season.

I my Gores Devastating Grips were in my inventory and they were favored and I wasn't paying attention and I was rolling gores and I put the three in there that I had needed and one of them was mine. And when you transmute them, you get another one of the same one. Different rolls has a chance to just make a bad pieces of gear to a good one. Same thing if they're 850 item power, you will get 850 item power. Sometimes it upgrades it.

You always have a chance of getting a greater aics using this method. So if you are hunting for a Luark crown with greater affixes on it, that's a really great option. You put it in the cube, 3 to one, it can get something with that. Then with your upgrade to legendary, this is actually a really great way to target farm aspects. I did a whole video on that as well, so you can always check that out. That'll be on the YouTube page.

But this takes any yellow piece of gear and you just upgrade to legendary and it puts a random aspect on it. Super great for farming. And it also keeps all of the affixes on there that you already had. So, if you make a really great yellow piece of gear, but you're still looking for a random aspect, you can always use that. I wouldn't really use it for anything other than just target farming an aspect, but is a really good option for you.

Craft unique. We talked about this a little bit earlier when we made your sword. When we put this in, we can upgrade this and that's going to give us a random unique sword inside of whatever category that you're doing. So, if it's a sword, armor, whatever it is you're going to be using. So upgrading to uniques is incredibly important for anything that's in the general pool. If you're looking for a banish's talisman or a Tibolt's will or you're looking for a fist of faith, all of those are in a general pool and have no way to target farm them.

So the best way to do that is to take a pair of pants, remove all the affixes, upgrade to unique, and then hope that you get lucky. Then we have your charm set. Charm set reroll takes any of your charms and it's going to reroll it into another charm of that same category. Earlier you saw how the new recipes can affect your charms. If you have no charms that you're looking for, let's say that you're looking for a Buru, you can take any charm, put it in, and this is a FOA.

When you use the roll, this will change around the charm name inside of that same set. It will also randomize your affixes. So, if you're looking for something like a greater aics on one of these, you can just spam that button, which is why you need so much resin. I had about 7 to 8,000 last night trying to put together a new set, and you saw I still ended up short. But fortunately, with all of the new patterns, I was able to get exactly what I was looking for.

So, use this to craft some extra charms and get things inside of the different categories that you're looking for. Craft a unique charm. How this works is that you will need a unique piece of gear and it has to be 900 item power or higher and you need three charms. So if you have those three charms, you can put three charms in with that and when you use that, you create another unique charm. Really helpful, especially if you're looking for a specific piece.

Like if you're looking for endurance faith, you can remove affixes off of gloves. You can upgrade to unique. You can get yourself an endurance faith. You can craft a charm with it that way. Super easy to get that. That makes it um very very helpful. Upgrade to mythic. This has changed this season. This takes any of your unique items and it upgrades a one to one. Every single stat on this to bull's will would remain if I upgraded to unique.

It is now an upgrade. It's not a craft. Last season it was a random craft. This season you can upgrade it. What they did add in is the crafted tag for anything that is upgraded in the cube only. If you create a mythic anywhere else, it doesn't have this crafted tag. You can only wear a single crafted mythic. So, anything that you use in the cube, you can only use one of. So, make sure you pick and choose the best one for you.

If you do have a GG piece of gear, make sure that later on you're not going to have to upgrade something else in order to use it. For example, right now I want to use the infinity as a mythic quality item. I have already crafted my Gor's devastated grips. I cannot upgrade this and use this. So, I'm going to have to go find another pair of gores because there is no mythic version of the Infinity. The only way to get this to mythic is to upgrade it.

So, just make sure that you pick and choose the ones that you want carefully. So, that's upgrading to a mythic. Amalgamate has so many different uses and they're really, really good. You can take your runes and you can simply just upgrade them. It just takes a rune and it just randomly upgrades when you have five of those runes. It'll upgrade those to the next level. It is random, but it is a really great way to upgrade your runes to get yourself something that if you want to craft them, which we'll talk about in a second, you can use this to craft them.

That's not the only thing. If you have five gems, you can put them in and you can upgrade and you can start getting your Heratric gems. You can also take your boss material and if you don't want to go do these specific bosses, you can just transmute and it's going to give you any of the uniques inside of that boss loot pool for your class. You can also take your nightmare dungeon sigils and you can put those in and you can craft yourself an escalating nightmare dungeon.

And you can take your trophies, which is actually really nice. And you can upgrade these. And what you can do when you upgrade enough of them is that they can go to legendary. And if you have five of these armament tributes, you can actually upgrade it to a mythic. Go run the unders city and get a guaranteed mythic unique. So, it's a really great option for you using this. There's so much you can do with amalgamate. It's really, really great for you.

Then we have crafting your runes. If you're looking for a specific rune, let's say because you need a jaw rune to craft your enigma, you can come over and you can click on jaw. You can put in five legendary ritual runes, five rare runes, any of them, and two chem runes, and you now have yourself a jaw, and you can go help craft your enigma. This is very, very helpful. use this if you're looking for a specific one. I know that's a long one, but the cube has so much to it.

There's so many things that you can do with this powerful little box. I'll have a lot of other videos coming out with some tips and tricks that'll be a lot shorter, but this is just a complete breakdown of the cube itself, and we'll have that full craft coming out. That's all I got for you today. Hopefully, you found this video helpful. If you did, make sure you share with your friends. Thank you everybody for watching.

I'm live every night. I'd love it if you stopped by, said hi, theory crafted with me. Catch you on the flip side.
