starting over transcript

Hello YouTube. This is going to be kind of like a new channel where I just post completely raw videos kind of like this. Kind of just documenting my my process and and my journey. I realized that my main channel which you know has over half a million subscribers is everything about that is kind of formulated. It's turned into a business and I don't get to just like do raw stuff anymore as much as I would like to. I feel like there's a lot more pressure there and a lot of things about it have to be optimized for for search and you know cuz I have sponsors and they just have to perform well.

So I just wanted a place to kind of just put whatever I wanted but mostly focused around business cuz I have some I have like some some business things coming up that I can't really mention yet but I think it's it's by far the biggest thing I've ever tried to do. Like YouTube just kind of happened. Like I I never really thought I would hit half a million subscribers. I never thought I could hit a thousand when I started.

But this is definitely going for like oh that's scary and I've no idea how to do it and I'm going to try to you know one of them's like founding a business and I've I've never started a business before. Um So that's something that's going to be really hard and then a bunch of other stuff hiring people investing into myself. So this is going to be very business vloggy type of oriented. So if you're not into that that's totally cool but if you are and you want to follow along with my journey and just like the things that that I think about the thoughts that I have just raw stuff like this.

So it's going to be way more real than you know welcome. Like I think I I really need this for me because right now I work by myself in an office all day and I have conversations with people, um had conversations with, you know, other YouTubers or founders or um reading books and I feel like I just want other people to talk to about some of the stuff that I'm thinking about and just like even for myself cuz I know in a year from now my life is going to be very different.

And um I even want to kind of like look back I I like I need this for me, too. I need to verbally process stuff. Um and I I want to be able to look back and be like, "Wow, I said I was going to do that thing. I tried doing that thing and then I did it." Um just just a guy vlogging in his car. So, I guess we'll go into one thing that um I've been thinking about a lot. I've been reading this book called the 12-week year and I'm like literally going through it right now and setting, you know, kind of like my ideal life and goals and business things um cuz I realized that on YouTube, especially, I had kind of I hit half a million subscribers.

That was my goal for 3 years or whatever. And I hit it. Super cool. But um I also realized that now I don't have any goals and I was kind of getting depressed. I was not really making a lot of progress in anything. I wasn't working a ton and um I was getting stressed out like bunch bad stuff. And I realized that I need to be excited. Like what was missing in my life was excitement. It was like this big monster that I need to tackle and I think as a guy if I don't have that why, that life purpose, that like something big and scary and strong and hard that I am am trying to tackle um bad things happen, you know?

I play more video games. I do worse on all my normal work. I'm not excited about life. I don't wake up, you know, loving Mondays as much um cuz YouTube's like the best thing ever, but like I I need something big and hard and a challenge um because I don't know. I think that's what I need. Um so that's why I'm kind of doing these things cuz I I've spent all this time like okay, I'll optimize. I'll spend less time working, you know, now I can only work an hour at a day if I need to and I can still run this business that makes a bunch of money and and that's great.

Um but I'm not happy at all doing that. Um so um yeah, so that's why I'm doing doing all this other stuff and I think as a as a guy um it's something that you need. I see a lot of people who are depressed and struggling and not doing um things and they're not trying for anything better in their life. They hate their job and they're just like like I don't know. Like if you're not trying for something that's like big, like really big.

Way bigger than you think you can do, then I don't think you're going to be super fulfilled in your life. So yeah, uh that's what I wanted to say.
