I keep going. It's so dope. That's so cool. So, tomorrow is August 1st, Switz National Day, National Holiday. So, it's going to be a big here, I think. We're in Puli. The train track is closed today. Bian, but that's not stopping him. He's a train. The train is coming tomorrow, but we're still waiting. We are desperately trying to escape the city, but it's a Swiss national holiday. It's closed down all the roads. There's no redirection, so we're just like guessing.

Bian is entertaining us. At least we're so far away from it. How is it possible, man? And it took us forever to get here because of all the road closing, but hope he likes it. We are now at the German side of Switzerland, which is funny to me because coming from French side to German side, it's very different people. The French are still French and the Germans are German, but it's Yeah, it's lovely regardless. And we're in this nature reserve area.

Yeah. And it's just very peaceful and pretty. Mara did a good choice. Me and Marta were like, "Have we stayed in Japan too long?" Cuz we keep uh there's so many behaviors that you've kind of closed your eyes towards your entire life that we Europeans do that is not the most pleasant. Even in Sweden, I find myself telling people off. I'm like, "Why are you doing that? Don't make weird sounds. Why are you Why are you cutting in line?" It's just like people don't do these things in Japan.

Now we're moving on to Italy so we can see grandparents and we're going to stay there 3 weeks. So we have a lot of plans there, too. It's a big trip and this is the last vlog as well, which is a little sad. So, yeah, it's going to be a big one.

I'm not built for this weather, but it's really, really nice. We've been here like 5 days. It's nice to see where Marcia sort of had her childhood, and uh it's really, really pretty. I'm not meant to be here. It's too hot. We're here for a couple more days until we uh head back to Japan. It's been a long longest trip I've probably been to ever. 6 weeks. But uh yeah, enjoying the last couple days. Amazing. We're just staying here a couple more hours and then heading back and then we just have a couple more days until we're back in Japan.

And that will be the end of the vlogs, which is crazy to think about. I also had an amazing anniversary yesterday and I'm just so lucky to have such an amazing wife, mother to my child. It's hard to explain being away for so long, at least for me. Like, I'm just not used to it. But it's been a very, very special trip. And but yeah, today is a beautiful day in Italy. It's a shame to leave today, honestly. Quick stop in Frankfurt and then we're going to the final plane.

Yeah, this is my last thing I'm going to film, which feels very really weird. I actually thought about it. I was like, how am I not going to film? We're probably going to keep filming because, you know, Marta has actually been making like a private version of the vlogs every single month as well, just for Bern for the more like private moments and stuff like that.

These vlogs have been like just home videos anyway, so it kind of makes sense. But yeah, it's been 4 and 1/2 years if you can believe it. It's been really fun. I said this before, but we started uh thinking we'll do one or two videos and now we've done like what I don't know 100. And the reason why we kept going is it's literally because of you guys. All the comments, all the support. I there's no way we would have done it otherwise.

We really really enjoyed sharing this journey with you. Moving abroad was such a difficult decision for us because we were leaving friends and we moved further away from family and uh just having so many people feeling like they rooted for us just uh meant it honestly meant the world to us. So we are so so thankful me and Martia for that and it's just been so fun to share all this with you all the excitement of coming here and all the discoveries and we we love sharing all of it.

Obviously, then Mars got pregnant and it was fun to document that experience and and Bern being born and seeing him grow up as well. Just sharing those precious moments I think uh uh has been really really special. Mar has worked so hard on these videos. She's edited every single one of them and I think she really made them so special as well and I'm so thankful to her and I'm so proud of her for everything that she does from being a mom to hardworking and creative.

She really really inspires me and I'm so so grateful to have her and uh I feel like usually there's uh one or two bad comments, but we literally just got outpouring support with these videos and that's just been so incredible. Maybe YouTube's filtering system got better. I don't know. The reason we're stopping is cuz we didn't want to go on forever. But I also felt like with Bern growing up, it's a good time to stop.

I love making videos and I'm going to keep making videos obviously and I love sharing videos and I love the community aspects of of of the back and forth, but I do not love being famous. I actually kind of hate it. I hate that I can't go to certain places and I always kind of have to be mindful of other people and staring, sneaking photos, following you around. And I feel like in Japan, I love it so much because I can just sort of do whatever here.

And I think uh for Bern, I want him to make his own choices of of uh he deserves his own privacy. And I I think that's why we feel felt like now it's a good time to stop even though he's so wonderful and we love sharing him with you guys cuz he's so it's been such a joy seeing him grow up and I'm so proud of him. We'll still share moments here and there but it just I we just felt like the vlogs are too centric uh place for it.
