I Tried The LAZIEST Way to Make Money With AI transcript

People are secretly making thousands of dollars using Claude to make AI influencers like this, this, and this, all from the comfort of their own home without showing their face. I've generated $100,000 USD in the last 30 days with my AI creators. AI influencers are changing the entire game. This is actually generating sales. Over $2,000 USD. $200,000 USD profit. We made over $103,000 USD. Some are even calling it the laziest AI side hustle.

But does this really work, or is it just AI's slot? Well, as a businessman who made his millions the old school way, to put it lightly, I'm highly skeptical. So I'm giving myself seven days to see how much money I can make. I'll be documenting the whole process, and of course, sharing the raw results. And if I don't make at least $1,000 USD, I'll give someone down in the comments $1,000 USD of my own money. But I must follow these three rules.

One, I have to get this whole thing up and running for less than $99 USD. Two, I can't use my own face or voice, so I don't have an advantage. And three, I have to create my first AI influencer before the end of the day. Okay, start the timer. So first up on our to-do list is to spy on the competition and figure out all of their secrets. Now, I'm going to start with one that I've actually heard of. She's called Lil Miquela, and she's actually pretty popular with over 2 million followers.

Here she is at the Met Gala. I didn't get an invite myself, but there you go. And there she is at the Grammys. So how is Lil Miquela making over $11 USD million a year? Well, they're working with massive brands, including Prada and Calvin Klein. So let's write brand deals in the money section. And Lil Miquela is positioned as a full-blown supermodel, which just goes to show you how far you can take it. I think I found another one.

This is Mother Satori, and she's a US-based holistic expert. Now, health is one of the most profitable niches out there because people will always pay to feel better and live a little bit longer. I'm going to have to watch this one. Wife, that's my mother. No way. How old are you? 108 years old. Wow, 108 years old. I thought I was the old one around here. So the unique selling point, let's put old age. At the end of every video, she promotes this.

It looks like some sort of gut cleanse detox drink. She gets thousands of views every single day, and the comment section is full of people asking to buy it. Just imagine how much money she's making by promoting this one product alone. Right, let's quickly blast through some more as I'm running out of time. These AI influencers are everywhere. I found this girl who posts glamorous lifestyle photos and makes these podcast-style reels about relationships.

Check this guy out. He's a hardworking, patriotic British guy, pouring his heart and soul into crafting these beautiful wooden flanks. Or is he? No, of course he's not. Now, is this ethical? No, because the person behind the account is lying to their customers. But is it making a load of money? Almost certainly, yes. Then there's this AI granny who's just doing the craziest things, and she's got over 2 million followers.

And after looking through all these accounts, it looks like the people running them are making money in all these different ways, which we'll look at properly in a second. First though, let's decide on a niche for our own AI influencers. There's usually three niches that I've seen that make the most money, health, wealth, and relationships. Two of them are already on the board, so we definitely know these can work. But funnily enough, not a single one of the AI accounts I looked at was talking about money or wealth, which means we found a gap in the market.

Of course, if you guys have any special interests, it's always worth leaning into those because you'll have an advantage over everyone else. Now, to give ourselves the best possible chance of success, I think we should create three different AI influencers in each of these profitable niches. So we can tick step one off our list and then move on to step two, generating character ideas. I want this to be as lazy as possible, so let's use AI to generate some ideas.

I'm going to head over to Claude. Now, I'm already on their free plan, which will be perfect for this. So let's type create a character profile for an AI influencer in the health niche. Give them a name, a backstory, a distinct look, and a unique selling point. Now let's see what it comes up with. Okay, so Amos. Now, that sounds pretty mysterious. I quite like that. 101 years old, a bit like me, I guess. Learned traditional remedies passed down through his family.

This is starting to sound like a male version of Mother Satori, which to be fair, clearly makes a lot of money. Shaved head, long beard. Okay, that's pretty interesting, and that should help him stand out online. Now, do it for the wealth niche. Okay, so let's see what we've got here. Grandma Vivian. Started with nothing, made loads of money, been through three husbands, private jets, designer, head to toe. So she's basically a bougie boss grandma.

Maybe I'll have to hit her up. Almost everyone in this niche is a young man in a rented Lambo. She is the exact opposite. That's very true. I think that's actually one of the reasons I'm- I managed to stand out in the wealth niche. Okay, now finally do it for the relationships niche. So we've got Sienna, stylish, 22 years old, talks about her dating life and situationship drama. This reminds me of the AI influencer that we found earlier called Olivia.

So this should give us a good chance at making money. But at the same time, I'm definitely not fully convinced that all of this stuff is actually gonna work. But with that said, we have our ideas. So let's move on to step three, generate the photos. I've been looking into a few different options for tools we can use to do this. And it seems like Higgsfield is one of the best. So let's head over to their website and click sign up.

And okay, it's given me the option to continue with Google, Apple. But to be honest, I think I'm gonna just use email. So I'll tick agree to terms of use and then continue with email and then click continue. So it looks like I'm in and it's asking me a few questions. So first up, how do you plan to use Higgsfield? For personal use. And so what do you want to achieve with Higgsfield? I wanna create avatars. And how experienced are you with AI?

Well, I'd like to say at least intermediate at this stage. Look, I'm not doing bad for an old boy. Oh, and it's just popped up with a personal offer. But to be honest with you, we don't need this deal because we've got a much better one. When I was doing a bit of research into the top AI tool to use, I was actually a bit cheeky and reached out to Higgsfield and asked them if they'd do me a little discount. To be honest, the only thing I'm really concerned about is the amount of videos I can make. And I see there's over a hundred videos here on this ultra one. So let's go with that. And as you can see, it's under budget. And boom, we're in.

Time to start making some AI influences. Luckily, we can connect Higgsfield with Claude and do pretty much everything in a single chat. So on Claude, let's go to customize, then click connectors, add, and then add custom connector. Then I'm gonna paste this link. Now let's click add, and that's it. Claude and Higgsfield are now talking to each other. Now it's time to create the images of our characters, starting with Amos, our health influencer.

And from my past experience dabbling with AI, I've learned the key to getting the best results is starting with a good prompt. But instead of spending ages writing something really detailed and complex, I'll just tell Claude to write one for me. Of course, I'll add all of my prompts to the cheat sheet in the description so you can copy these too, or change them up, depending on what you want your AI influencer to look like.

I've mentioned that I want a couple of different angles, a full body shot, and a closeup. Then I've given a description of Amos, what he looks like, and what he's wearing. I also said I want him on a white background with realistic looking skin, because he can't be looking like an airbrush model when he's supposedly living off the land. Okay, wow, this is a monster. I'm glad I didn't have to type all of this out, that's for sure.

And all that's left for me to do is to type yes, and it should, fingers crossed, generate some images of Amos. Okay, here we go. He actually looks very realistic, but I do have a bit of a problem. He looks younger than me, unless he's got some sort of crazy skin routine. He definitely doesn't look 101 years old. So let's type, make him a few years older. Oh, that's better. Still looks younger than me though, but I'll accept it.

So now let's generate some scenes to put him in. I'm thinking his porch, farmhouse kitchen, vegetable garden, and yard, as he's American and that's what they call it. Wow, these look very realistic. I definitely expect Amos to be hanging out here. So now let's repeat these steps for our other two influencers and see what it spits out. Just for the sake of time, I'm gonna go through this quickly. Now this is perfect. The sunglasses, the jewelry, the fur coat.

Now that has got to be the coolest grandma you've ever seen. It looks like that woman from 101 Dalmatians, doesn't it? Now for the locations. So we've got a private jet, a sports car, very nice. A fancy looking drawing room and a terrace for a bit of afternoon tea and maybe a scone. Right, last one, Sienna. She looks pretty stylish and very realistic. You know what? I'd have no idea she wasn't a real girl. And we've also got the locations here too.

Now I'd say that's believable for where Sienna would live. That's our photos generated. Let's move on to mapping out the viral content. Now don't worry. I'm not going to write out all of these scripts manually. For this bit I'm going to use something called a Claude skill. If you haven't heard of skills before they're basically reusable tools with instructions already baked in so you get perfect results every time without writing a massive prompt.

Now I found these ones online for free and I'll include them in the cheat sheet so you can use them too. I'm not sure how good they are but I don't have much time to be writing out scripts so let's give them a try and hope for the best. So to install these skills I'm going to head over to customize, hit add, upload a skill and drag and drop them straight in and now it's ready to go. Then in our chat let's hit forward slash and select content engine skill.

Now let's say generate content ideas for Sienna and of course it knows who Sienna is because it came up with the idea of her in the first place and look at that it's handed me a whole list of content ideas and I didn't have to think of anything myself. I quite like idea two because if this script actually hits home a lot of girls are going to find it very relatable and feel like they actually know Sienna on a more personal level.

Number one sounds good because she's giving advice and number seven is also quite interesting it almost feels like a psychological secret that she's going to reveal and the podcast setting as we've seen these work quite well. So let's generate scripts for these three and see what comes out and here we go three scripts ready for Sienna. We won't dive into them because we'll do a proper review of the finished videos in a second.

Now I'll do the same process for the other two influencers. Okay that looks pretty cool so we've got a load of finished scripts for Amos and of course some for good old Viv. So let's take that one off our list and move on to a pretty exciting step because we're going to be giving them a voice. Right for this bit I'm going to head over to the Higgsfield website itself. I guess it makes sense to go to the audio tab. It says you can upload media so let's add our images of Vivian and then for the script I'm just going to write hi my name is Vivian.

Use this sound so the character speaks like this and now it's asking for voice details. Let's head back to Claude and ask it to generate a detailed prompt for Vivian's voice. Okay this looks about right so let's copy this and paste it into Higgsfield and then click generate. Hi my name is Viviana. Use this sound so the character speaks like this. Well that sounds good. It actually sounds like one of my old school teachers.

I'll do the same process but for Amos and Sienna. Cool so that's sorted. I'm going to move on to the next step which is to bring them to life. Don't worry you'll get a chance to hear all of their voices very soon. Right so it's finally time to combine our images locations and scripts and turn them into high quality videos to post online. So in order to do this I'm going to go to cinema studio and then new project and I'll give my project a name.

So let's call it Sienna and then press create and then we've got a few settings at the bottom. It looks like we can change here so I guess we want to change the aspect ratio to 9 by 16 because we're creating short form videos in a vertical format. Let's make the quality 1080p because that's the best quality and everything else looks fairly good for now. For the first video I want to create a short clip without any talking so that we can add some relatable text to the screen.

I've seen these types of videos do really well and it's a good test to see what we can generate before trying to get Sienna to talk to the camera. So I used another Claude skill which I'll also add to the cheat sheet in the description. It basically takes a really simple idea and generates a prompt for getting the best video outputs. Feel free to try it for yourself. Anyway let's paste the detailed prompt in here. Now as you can see it's referenced imaged one which is the character sheet for Sienna that made earlier.

So hopefully this means she's going to look consistent across all of our videos. Now let's press generate and see what we get. All right not bad nothing crazy at this point because obviously she's not talking but as I said we can add some relatable text here on the screen and this is a nice way to test that this actually works. So I'm going to make a few more b-roll shots and then we can make some videos where we actually hear Sienna talk for the first time as these are hopefully what's going to drive views on social media and also make us some money.

I've made a lot of these videos now and I have to say some of them are pretty impressive. Let me give you a sneak peek at some of my favorites. There's a quote I live by early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise. That's quite realistic even the coffee steam in there. Number one longevity food in the world beans. It's the cornerstone of every long-lived culture out there. I don't know if The wife will agree that beans are the best thing to have, to be perfectly honest.

I mean, I personally can't turn water into wine, but I can turn you into mine. If I showed this to anyone else that didn't know that was AI, they'd think that was someone for sure. She's your friend, but whenever she gets a boyfriend, she stops making plans. Stops messaging you, stops calling. Babe, she was using you. Well, again, that's going to be very relatable. Excuse me, ma'am, how did you get rich? Buy the ugliest property on the nicest street, fix it up properly, rent it or sell it.

Take that money, do it again and again for 40 years. Don't touch it. Let it buy the next one. She's got some good advice there. It's quite attractive, isn't she, for the older woman. I reckon she's going to go down pretty well with the older boys there for sure. And probably some of the younger ones as well. Right, I'm actually pretty exhausted. But we've made some great progress and made our AI influencers within one day.

So we've completed that part of the challenge. I'm going to come back tomorrow with a fresh head and launch our accounts. Okay, so this morning I've been a bit cheeky and added some captions to our videos, but I'm sure you guys know how to do that. It's pretty simple on any free editing apps like CapCut or Instagram edits. So let's skip to the fun stuff and actually launch our accounts. We're just going to focus on Instagram for now because we're on a time limit.

But if these do well, we could also post them on TikTok or YouTube shorts later. I'm going to type Amos and then I'm going to put health and wellness. And then for the username, I assume just Amos is taken. Yep, makes sense. So let's type dot old ways because he talks about the good old ways of doing things. And then all looks good. So let's press submit. Now, let's give him a nice profile picture. I've got a few images here that I've generated in the Claude chat.

And of course, I'll add the prompts in the cheat sheet. So they're there for you to copy as well. But let's see what we've got. We've got him with a little lamb here. We've got him. Ah, that one's quite nice. I do actually quite like that. So let's go with that. And then the last thing we need to do is create a bio. So 101 years old, simple habits for peak energy, focus and longevity. I'm also going to write your AI grandpa because I don't want anyone feeling like they've been tricked.

Let's do that as well just to be safe. Let's press submit. And there we go. Amos is ready to take the world by storm. So I'm just going to rinse and repeat and do the same for the other accounts. Okay, so as you can see, I've now got the accounts all set up for Sienna, Vivian and of course Amos. So it's time to start posting some content. I'm going to post 10 videos on each account. Then I'm going to check back in a couple of days and see which one of our influencers is having the most success.

And then we can crown the winner and double down on them to make some money. I'm of course rooting for Grandma Vivian. So I'll check back when there's something to report. Well, this is fairly unexpected. I wasn't actually planning on filming anything until we crowned the winner. But I've been watching the accounts closely and I can't believe some of the comments we've been getting. Someone here is bashing Sienna for wearing a sheen dress and drinking a $3 USD Frappuccino.

But don't worry, I've got some support from another fellow woman. And she's saying Sienna's right to pick whoever she wants and whatever she wants in a man because she's in such high demand. And then the hater came back for more. I just think it's fascinating that they're so busy arguing with each other that neither has clocked that she isn't actually a real person. We've also got people asking where she got her clothes from.

So I guess that just goes to show how realistic our influencers look. Right, I'm going to get out of these comments because it's all getting a little bit too much for me. And I'll check back in once the accounts have gained some more traction and crowned the winner. Right, since we last spoke, I've genuinely tried my hardest not to look at these accounts. So it's finally time to see which influencer we're going to use to start making some money.

Coming in third is Vivian. Now, I'll have to be honest with you. That one does sting a bit because I told you I was rooting for her. But surprisingly, she just didn't do anywhere near as well as expected. On a positive note, this is exactly why I wanted to launch three accounts at the same time. Because you can't rely on just one account to find success. Coming in second is Sienna, which obviously means Amos came first.

But look at the gap. Sienna's numbers are genuinely really impressive for a brand new account. And if this was a longer challenge, I'll probably continue to post on both accounts. But I don't have enough time for that. So let's crown Amos our winner. And move on to the next step, which is to start making money. Right, so now we've got a clear winner. It's time to decide how Amos is actually going to make us some money.

Fortunately, at the start of this challenge, we wrote down all the different ways other people were making money from AI influencers. So let's look at our options. Brand deals could work. But we'd have to spend time reaching out to different companies, waiting for replies, and then negotiating deals. So for this challenge, it's definitely out of the question. Selling physical products could be interesting. But setting up a store is a hard one. whole project in itself.

You can't currently get paid ad revenue for making reels on Instagram so that isn't an option right now. Affiliate income is probably one of the easiest and quickest ways to make money from an AI influencer. You can sign up to TikTok shop, promote relevant products and get paid a slice of everything you sell.

However, because we aren't currently posting on TikTok, which in hindsight was probably a mistake, we'll have to cross that one off too. So I guess that just leaves digital products which actually is perfect for educational influencers like Amos and we can generate everything without leaving Claude. So the big question, what digital products should we actually make? Now a few years everyone was selling ebooks but these days people can just google or ask chatgpt for the same basic information for free so that's not going to work for us.

If we want people to actually buy our digital product it has to be structured, interactive and hold their hand through some sort of transformation. So I'm thinking we should create a proper workbook that people can use and fill out every day rather than just a pdf full of generic paragraphs. And Amos is honestly perfect for this because he's all about living a simple effective life so I reckon we can build him a workbook like a proper challenge that helps someone build healthy habits over time.

So let's go back over to Claude and type forward slash and then select the digital product skill and say create a workbook as a digital product for Amos. Remember this skill will also be in the cheat sheet. Now hopefully, ah yeah look at that, it's given me three ideas and actually explained why people would pay for each one. So let's see, I think the first one sounds the best. A 30-day challenge based on his old ways of living, one habit a day.

Yeah this is actually something I would buy if I wanted to hold myself accountable so let's go with that. Let's type build number one. Okay I think it's done and look at this thing, this is a proper little book. It's got the full 30-day plan, every day's got its own named rule with a tick box, there's a tracker at the back you could stick on the fridge, it's even thrown in some bonuses like his mother's old dinner recipes.

Well that's my dinner plan sorted for tonight. Add this photo of Amos to the front cover, there we go and look at that, five days ago Amos didn't even exist and now he's on the front cover of his very own book. It's crazy to think how far this old boy's come. Now obviously before we can sell this I'm going to read through it to make sure all the information is logically sound and safe and of course remove any hints of AI slot.

Okay all looks good so now we need a way for the customers to actually buy and download the product. I did a bit of research and found a platform, now this isn't sponsored by the way, but I'm going to use a platform called Stand Store and they've got a 14-day free trial which is pretty helpful since we're on a budget. I assume we just need to go to my store and then add products and digital products, that looks about right and now it's asking us to pick a style, quite like call out so let's go with that and then we've got to select an image for the thumbnail so we could use this one of a sheep, this one's my favorite so let's use that and it matches this Instagram profile picture.

Change that size just there, get my 30-day energy reset and then for the button start the old ways challenge and then the price $15.99 USD then we can actually offer a discount to $12 USD because well who doesn't like a little discount and then we just have to upload the digital product and press publish then it looks like we can copy the link here and paste that into our Instagram bio for people to click. Now obviously I'll also have to connect my bank details so we can get paid, of course I'll do that off camera as I don't want to share those details.

Let's test this out, okay press this link, yeah looking pretty good so I think we can tick that one off, left that on there, I think we tick that one off of the list just like that and now we can move on to count it any profit we make. Okay so it's the last day of the challenge and we actually made some sales but we've made a massive mistake, you see since doubling down on Amos, Vivian's account has actually exploded, she's got over 10,000 views on this video, 20,000 on this video and this video here has actually gone viral with over 250,000 views, you know what I should have trusted my gut and gone with Grandma Viv, I mean imagine what we could have done with all these I guess that's just one of the things with these seven day challenges, it's a great way to test the side hustle but sometimes you just need a little bit more time to see the full picture develop and if we look at all our influencers they've all been gaining a lot of traction even though I made it very clear that they're not real people, there's not a single comment complaining about the use of AI which to be honest does surprise me because I do still have some reservations about AI slog.

As I'm about to show you AI influencers are clearly a good way to make money and they're pretty simple to set up but I definitely don't want everyone to jump on this because I think one of the coolest things about social media is connecting with actual people from all walks of life and if everything is just AI generated then it sort of kind of sucks the soul out of the me being an old fart you can make your own mind up.

But enough of that let's crunch the numbers and see if we actually made any money. Well as you can see we sold the workbook for $12 USD and made 23 sales which brings our total revenue to $276 USD but of course that isn't all profit because we did have some costs. First we used Claude but that was a free subscription. I did have to wait a bit for the credits to refresh which was a bit annoying but at least it didn't cost me anything.

I used Instagram edits for adding captions to the videos which was completely free too. We used Standstore to host the product and that was a 14-day free trial so that also cost $0 USD. As we got paid through PayPal they do take some fees which came to $19.52 USD. Remember this isn't part of the startup budget as it just came off our sales. We of course used Higgsfield to create all the photos and video generations. Now I couldn't have done that without them to be honest it was so simple.

I also used the Tilbury discount code to get some money off our subscription but I know that's only limited to 5,000 people and it was kind of cheating so to keep it fair I'm going to count the full cost which would normally be $99 USD for that plan. So that's our whole $99 USD startup budget spent and including the PayPal fees our total cost came to $118.52 USD so that leaves us with a profit of $157.48 USD. Now I know $157 USD might not sound life-changing but let's put it into perspective.

This was all done with minimal effort using AI tools and a budget of just $99 USD to set everything up. Imagine what we could achieve if we expanded our strategy. At the moment we've already generated a ton of videos for Instagram but we could simply post the same stuff across other platforms such as TikTok and YouTube and instantly get more views, attention and money without really lifting a finger and that's just the start.

Remember all of those monetization strategies we talked about at the start of the video we only tried one with one influencer. Imagine what we could do if we actually gave all of them a try across all of our influencers but guys a deal is a deal.
