This is a dialogue between my my 14-year-old who I call Crow. That was the name my friends called me in the neighborhood and the moniker I took when I lived on the streets. And it's with my infinite true self. Crow. This is [ __ ] Infinite self. Strong opening. We were supposed to be legendary, wild, dangerous, misunderstood. Not stable. You say that like it's a crime. Yeah, you killed the vibe. Routines, boundaries, sleep, Jesus.
I didn't kill it. I put it on schedule. That's worse. You had decades of saying [ __ ] it. And we're still cleaning that up now. Well, I didn't ask for this body. Or this pain, or this life. Neither did I. But here we are. When I push, when I numb out, at least I feel alive. I know. You kept us alive when no one else knew how. Then why are you sidelining me? I'm not. I'm promoting you. To what? Middle management? To intensity without self-destruction.
Passion without handcuffs. Sounds boring. Only if suffering is your only proof of authenticity. Ooh, low blow. Accurate one. So what? You want me to shut up now? No, I want you to grow up. Wow, you sound like a dad. I sound like the adult who stayed. I want to scream. Good. Just don't burn the house down afterwards. But, I want to feel special. You are. You don't need to bleed to prove it. So, I don't get fired? No, you get mentorship.
Do I still get loud punk rock music? Mandatory. Skateboarding? Well, we'll need to check in with the meat suit first. But, no drugs? No, no drugs. [ __ ] Then, this is going to be really tough.
The words are the caption track's own and nothing is reworded or re-transcribed. Paragraph breaks are placed between sentences so the text reads as prose.
