Opening (first 30 seconds)
Every night this 17-year-old boy secretly climbed onto the roof of his own school and slept [music] up there. And for 2 whole months, nobody had any idea. It all started one night after a huge fight with his mom. They were screaming back and forth until finally, she looked at her own son and yelled, "Get out!" It was already 10:00 at night when he stepped outside with nowhere to sleep, nobody to turn to, and no idea where he was supposed to go. So, he walked alone through the dark streets until he reached the only place he could think of, his own school. He climbed onto the roof above the gym, curled up alone in the dark, and somehow made it through

So, he walked alone through the dark streets until he reached the only place he could think of, his own school. He climbed onto the roof above the gym, curled up alone in the dark, and somehow made it through the night. Then before anyone arrived the next morning, he'd climb back down, wash himself up, and walk straight into class pretending everything was completely normal. And [music] somehow nobody noticed. He managed to hide it for 2 entire months.
But one day, the school finally caught him up there. And instead of helping this boy who had nowhere else to go, they suspended him and called the police to arrest him for trespassing.
The words are the caption track's own and nothing is reworded or re-transcribed. Paragraph breaks are placed between sentences so the text reads as prose.
